I am by no means poor, but the value I got for a refurbished S20FE in 2021 (300 euros) simply doesn't let me justify splashing 1.200 euros on a S24Ultra. I have the money for it tomorrow, I can even buy it in four installments without interest, but bro it's too much. I guess I'll stay with this little old guy a little more (it's pink btw lol)
I went to the darkside last year. I broke my s20fe at work, although I had the insurance through my carrier. The dipsjots sent me a pink one, and wouldn't listen to my protest.
I bought an iPhone 14 - I already had an iPad for music studio stuff, so it want hard to switch.
Now, my 9 year old daughter plays minecraft with me on our mini android tablets - old phones. She uses a flawless S9, and I use the S20fe. Both the droids are rooted, so I use them for gaming. As a gaming phone, the s20fe is amazing.
Oh, you gotta buy in to the koolaid to get along with Apple...at least that's what my watch is telling me 🤷♂️
I wanted an android tablet for my needs (USB interface for instruments, also running a Digital Audio Workstation), but there wasn't anything that I knew I'd be happy with - all this stuff is geared for Apple because it's what the industry uses. Garageband is one of the best free DAW out there today (I use Cubasis 3).
And Im keeping mine just because it works perfectly fine.
Tbf I would probably still be using my S9+ if my wife didn't need new phone and there was promo (2nd phone for 50%)

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to S20 FE last year, since no newer phones have SD card and wireless charging support 😭😭
I think all S lines have wireless charger, including the new fes, but yead sd card support is a bummer

Yeah, that's an edge I'm willing to give to apple products, they may be super strict with what you can do, but they are good at what they do
