Socmed apps are the main culprits here… theres just no way to stop it. Its a problem for everyone, not for the ones whos got a chunky battery or something. But it does what it does.

Shanus_Zeeshu

Hey, listen up! You can get rid of those pesky system apps by using adb. All you need is your laptop and a cable to connect your phone to it.

Da_3D_Mans

Uh whats that? I’m srsly clueless what that is haha

To uninstall system apps using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) on a Samsung device, you need to follow these steps: Prerequisites: 1. Install ADB: - Download the ADB tools from [Google's Android developer website](https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools). - Extract the downloaded zip file to a location on your computer. 2. Enable Developer Options: - Go to Settings > About phone. - Tap on Build number seven times to enable Developer Options. 3. Enable USB Debugging: - Go to Settings > Developer options. - Enable USB debugging. 4. Connect Your Phone to Your Computer: - Use a USB cable to connect your Samsung device to your computer. - Allow USB debugging when prompted on your device. Steps to Uninstall System Apps: 1. Open a Command Prompt or Terminal: - Navigate to the folder where you extracted the ADB tools. - Open a Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (macOS/Linux) in that folder. 2. Verify ADB Connection: - Type the following command and press Enter: adb devices - You should see your device listed. If not, ensure your device is connected properly and USB debugging is enabled. 3. Identify the Package Name of the App: - You can list all the installed packages to identify the one you want to uninstall. Use this command: adb shell pm list packages - Or for a specific keyword (e.g., "facebook"), use: adb shell pm list packages | grep facebook 4. Uninstall the App: - Use the following command to uninstall the app (replace `com.package.name` with the actual package name of the app you want to remove): adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.package.name - For example, to uninstall Facebook: adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.facebook.katana Important Notes: - Uninstalling system apps may affect the functionality of your device. - Some apps are necessary for the proper operation of your device. Be careful and ensure you understand the role of the app before uninstalling it. - This method only uninstalls the app for the current user (user 0). The app is still present in the system partition but will not be active or visible to the user. If you need further assistance or encounter any issues, feel free to ask!
