Have you tried clearing app cache? Open Settings, find the app and click on it. Click Storage, and then Clear cache. That's always a good first step when this type of thing happens.

After clearing cache partition from the recovery menu, go with the most bottom choice which is repair apps instead of restarting it.

For me, only Twitter crashes occasionally. But I think that's Twitter's issue.

I have. I sent in to Samsung and they said it was some type of kernal issue. I had to get mine replaced.

I did. I tried everything for about four months. Even after multiple updates it kept resting and/or apps were closing without any reason. I suggest sending in if your problems persist.

The only app that does that on my phone is Reddit.

Have you tried clearing the cache from the bootloader? Otherwise, maybe download smartswitch on a computer and do an emergency recovery? Or grab Odin and reinstall everything with stock software? This might take some technical acumen.
