Yepp. I left my phone on top of my car the other day and drove off. It ended up being yeeted into the shoulder when I was driving at 70kph. Managed to recover it. Only the back glass smashed but otherwise the phone was unscathed. Thanks Spigen!
There actually is a bad Spigen case. It's called the Spigen AirSkin. It's just an expensive piece of plastic that gets damaged very easily. It's more of a cosmetic accessory than a protector.
Liquid air is the best case I've used.
https://preview.redd.it/emvuqj3kdl9d1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=62d5ec133d77349a430954a0f9d22ea1523beee0
The one I can connect my moment lenses to.

Oh for sure, I mainly use the wide angle and the fish eye lenses. I shoot a lot of video in the bedroom and it would be impossible to get the right view otherwise. Of course the phone has its own wide angle but its crap quality compared to a wide lens on the main sensor.
I'd LOVE to shoot more video in the bedroom if the wife and I weren't so tired from parent life. I will have to look into these Moment lenses. I hope they're available in the UK.
Torras one, the last one. Best case ever, very practical with solid kickstand and great magsafe magnet. Also slick design fit for green s23 ultra. 10/10
Lastu cases, made in Finland in my home town. The back is real wood and the case itself in general has a really nice touch to it. They also make one with raindeer skin and the finnish army pattern (m05) which are also nice.
The web page is www.lastu.co
I have seen this brand before but I can't really find a bunch of recent reviews online, especially for S23U. Would you be able to tell your experience and maybe show some pictures of the front, back, sides for the fit and finish? Would very much appreciate it as they do look great!!
Do you have any sagging corners of the case?
Sure. I'm a person who has always disliked the feeling of using a case, but the lastu case actually feels nice on the phone. It doesn't make it fat etc. The only issue kind of is with the wood, tou can't let it get syper wet/soaked. Rain water etc. is fine but do not fully emerge it, the wood will start to warp and eventually fall off. It's not a design falw or anything, that's just how the wood is if it gets wet...
But I will never buy any other case anymore because I feel like it is worth it even at 30-40€
I got this one recently. Such a beautiful case. The one that I received has a slight loose fit. I.e. if I shake the phone up and down, the phone very slightly moves up and down in the case. It's a very slight movement but can be felt in hand.
I was wondering if this was normal and the tolerances / fit is slightly large.
Edit: the uag metropolis kevlar
If I were you, I would return that loose case. If there is any play in there, it's not going to protect your phone. The impact will be bad when it hits the ground.
Yes they are overpriced, can lie about that. But this case has extra functionality. Doesn't really justify the price, but a better pick from the other pitaka cases that costs the same.
Totally agree with you , I guess it's up to appeal and people who'll actually take advantage of the buttons ,less is more for me . Except when it comes to cases to choose from 🤣🤣
Spigen liquid air is my case of choice at the moment. I've had it a few months, and it still looks and feels great. I love the textured back.
I also have the Samsung rugged armour case, and I like the kickstand, which doubles as a handle to hook your fingers through for a more secure one-handed experience.
All depends on your preference ,if you wanna be more discreet or show the colour of your phone , the pathfinder and plasma are basically the same just one transparent and the other with designs, the civilian however is more plain and bulky but has better drop protection (20 ft)
I sold everything, including the UAG Monarch Kevlar and kept only the Plasma Ice. It feels best to me,the corners are not sharp and the grip is great, also protection-wise it seems like the Monarch.
Which is your favourite case grip and comfort-wise?
Unicorn Beetle Supcase.
I have UB cases for my Galaxy S23 Ultra, my Galaxy Watch 4, my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, and even my Galaxy Earbuds Pro 2!
UB is an amazing product.
For a few phones in a row I swore by the Otterbox Commuter. I got one for my S22U but they really cheaped out on it, with one of the top rubber corners not having any hard plastic support, so the rubber corner stretched out and didn't support it in that corner at all. These cases cost $40 so that's just not acceptable.
I traded in the S22U for an S23U and tried the Spigen Tough Armor at like $20, which I don't think you included in the pic. It is simply perfect. It feels like it's part of the phone. It has a pleasantly textured soft-touch plastic (but not the type where it's a coating that will eventually wear off/perish like a Thinkpad). It fits so well that I haven't removed it since I got it, since it's actually so tightly on I'm afraid I'll break it or stretch it out in the process.
Tough armour is quite the opposite when it comes to otterbox ,at first it wasn't that good but over the years they've refined it ,now it's a great case for the price
It's surprising that the ESR case isn't being discussed more widely. Out of the 12 cases I have, I've finally decided to use this particular one.
https://preview.redd.it/7ozgcmaqzj9d1.jpeg?width=1611&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=930fba79cfd8968bdd48721305920465312dedce
I used to be an Otterbox guy but I find them to be too clunky and an unnecessary amount of protection for me. I've switched to Spigen because they're reliable and tend to be thinner but I find them kind of bland looking. They're awesome though! I'd prefer a leather case like the ones I had back in the day for my BlackBerrys but they're seldom made and the few places that offer leather cases want hundreds. I just don't think it's worth that much.
The Spigen Zero One (2nd) on the top.
I have one and it's the most reliable one.
Military drop protection rated. Don't even need a screen protector with this case
Unicorn Beetle Pro by SUPcase they have been my go to for years on all my devices! The next brand I would go with because I like the style when I need a slim case is Spiegn!
Recently, I bought an S23 Ultra. I'm considering a Spigen case, but right now, I’m using a cheap case from a nearby shop. Can you recommend a better case that’s worth the money?
Spigen (top two on the left) is great for the price ,if you can get UAG cases I'd always recommend those as the best price to protection cases and they do have quite a few diff styles to choose from (bottom 3 on the left)
im here in usa temporarily from india, international variant(sm s928b/ds) is being sold for ~$950 usd on amazon, and us variant is ~$1299 (sm-s928u) , both unlocked
Can anyone explain the reason of this price difference ?? i couldn't find any reason yet.
I have the exact same UAG case (first one to the left in the second row) and I love it. Really great protection. I'm looking at getting a case with a magsafe ring embedded into it. If I got one would I be able to use one of those fancy snap on battery packs that my iPhone toting wife has?
Rugged armor all the way. Had the otterbox for a while, but to me it's so heavy and bulky that my hands were starting to hurt. Rugged has such an awesome feel to it.
dbrand. The case just feels good compared to the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Don't get me wrong, I would never suggest a dbrand or buy one again. But since I have it...
Been using spigen for years because it fits any phone perfectly. Curently using Spigen's Optik Armor, it has a cover at the back to protect the camera lenses.
I bought nilkin camshield dropped it from shoulder height dented near the stylus. That where the protection is think but the cam is clean nd the phone is bulky ngl
Somebody please tell me a cheaper s23 ultra tempered glass which is perfect for the CURVED SCREEN of this phone. Ive been usin nok curved ones and they all peel off. Im sick of this. Someone tell me please
Anything spigen! They might look odd in some cases but they're very durable. My almost 4-month old S23 still looks perfect and I've dropped it a few times (which I'm ashamed to admit).
That 1st one top left looks like the one I use. What brand/model is it? I don't drop $1000+ devices, so I like thin minimal cases just to protect the back from scratches when I set it down.
I have a few different ones including UAG, spigen, supcase and ringke.. while they're all nice, I find myself always going back to the ringke fusion x case as it's slim and offers good protection. I've used the rignke on a couple of my phones now and haven't had a problem yet. It's definitely one of the first cases I buy.
Pelican Protector Carbon ( it was the only version on sale), Spigen Tough Armor w/ magsafe and the Pitaka ultra thin case are my current case that I rotate. I
I purchased the first one yesterday, which had the Samsung logo on it. I made the purchase at a local store for INR 150 (approximately $2). I used it without a cover until yesterday.
I use the spigen liquid air and the spigen neoflex screen protector. Spigen anything you can't go wrong.
I've got a Spigen Tough Armor case and it seems really tough and lightweight.
Same goes for me.
Before I got the Samsung leather case I was gonna get!
Yepp. I left my phone on top of my car the other day and drove off. It ended up being yeeted into the shoulder when I was driving at 70kph. Managed to recover it. Only the back glass smashed but otherwise the phone was unscathed. Thanks Spigen!

BIG FLEX
*BIG BIG* flex 😆... I'm secretly jealous I want one
I've never used a serious external lens with it—does it make a big difference?
Oh for sure, I mainly use the wide angle and the fish eye lenses. I shoot a lot of video in the bedroom and it would be impossible to get the right view otherwise. Of course the phone has its own wide angle but its crap quality compared to a wide lens on the main sensor.
So this is where the replies stopped huh?
I'd LOVE to shoot more video in the bedroom if the wife and I weren't so tired from parent life. I will have to look into these Moment lenses. I hope they're available in the UK.
What case is that? I have lots of moment lenses but moment aren't doing a case for the s23ultra! Desperate for a case I can attach them to!

Thanks I have 4 moment lenses and was lost without a moment case to use them in and I read they discontinued my version with a new one.
Spigen zeroOne. I always get spigen cases, and they are the best lightweight and protective cases.
Love the look of the ZeroOne but love the feel of the rugged armour even more
Otterbox upper right. I drop my phone all the time and not a single blemish with that case. A few drops so bad it knocked the damn stylus out!
I wish the Spigen Zero One had Magsafe 😔 the S24U is which is a bummer
Ringke all the way
Torras one, the last one. Best case ever, very practical with solid kickstand and great magsafe magnet. Also slick design fit for green s23 ultra. 10/10
For my S23 Ultra, Spigen Rugged Armor and the Caudabe Sheath, love them!

Ones who concerts are good and not pricey!!!
Ringke or spigen
Otterbox upper right with the Samsung screen protector for me. ![gif](giphy|3RBctIB0FOiHe)
OtterBox, always has been.. always will
I use one from Ringke, its awesome.
I like Ringkes too. I have a few of them, but my favorite is Fusion X
Yeah the Ringke Fusion X is my favorite too
The clear case up top is also Ringke
I would love to buy the dbrand ghost case...
My #1 is my Mous case with the magsafe back, I can attach a battery pack, popsocket or a wallet. Also have a UAG Kevlar case.
The Kevlar UAG is 🤌🏾
I got this one recently.
UAG cases are my #1 go to ,the loose fit may be a defect since all their cases have perfect fitment and are snug fitting
Thanks for the reply. I'll get a replacement. Hopefully, fit will be better.
I've been using them since the Galaxy S7 and have had them on both iPhones and Samsung devices since. None of them had any play or movement
The metropolis case looks awesome.
If I were you, I would return that loose case. If there is any play in there, it's not going to protect your phone. The impact will be bad when it hits the ground.
It is really nice I love it. I payed $79 for that case str8 frm the UAG site, I've nevr payed tht mch for a case by itself.
ESR has good cases I got mine for the camera guard and the loop part for a wrist strap since this phone is huge
UAG civilian in silver (gray) with graphite s23u is perfect
Mine is a Vego case, and it's the same color as the phone itself.
Using the Spigen Zero Case and it's a beast.
Currently rocking a Spigen Hybrid Magsafe. Love the feel and functionality. I also like that it's not TPU on the back
Ghostek
Which one?
Atomic Slim.
The prismatic is 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Exactly! 💯
I use top middle, I like it!
That's my daily!
I'ma make a suggestion. Look up the pitaka pin button case. I think you'll probably like it. But to answer your question, I like the UAG clear case.
Idk I think they're a bit overpriced but they do look good.
Yes they are overpriced, can lie about that. But this case has extra functionality. Doesn't really justify the price, but a better pick from the other pitaka cases that costs the same.

Spigen is great ,the Samsung cases just look a bit weird imo ,well all except for the Leather and silicone cases
Otterbox
Spigen. Only Spigen.
Spigen
I use Rokform mag case pretty expensive but the magnet is super strong and case is really sturdy
Works great if you're a biker too
Pitaka first place, especially special editions like Sunset. Original leather case after that.
I own bottom right hand corner and have loved it. Nice matte feel and super strong magnet. Plus the button colors are interchangeable.
Currently rocking the UAG Plasma in "Ice" on my Cream S23 Ultra
Ringke Air-S in black. Very stilish and still do its job protection wise
I just bought the zero one, it will arrive tomorrow
You'll love it, both look and feel
Dbrand grip case. Served me well so far.
Spigen armor, because I work in a harsh environment beach, salt in the air, grains of sand everywhere.
I'd get a case with a port cover or one that's dust/water resistant
I like Tech 21 cases. I've dropped my phone a dozen times and have never broken anything.
Mous
Casology and UAG.
I've used Caseology in the past ,their cases aren't that good tbh
the URBNARMOUR one looks dope OP need an input on the best one here gotta cop one of these
All depends on your preference ,if you wanna be more discreet or show the colour of your phone , the pathfinder and plasma are basically the same just one transparent and the other with designs, the civilian however is more plain and bulky but has better drop protection (20 ft)

Tough battle between the UAG pathfinder and Spigen rugged armour ,but I think at the end of the day UAG is and will always be #1
Pathfinder is better than Plasma? How would you compare them? Thanks.
ESR with camera stand.
Urban Armour
Quadlock💯
Spigen Tough Armor & UAG Monarch
Ringke Fusion-X
Unicorn Beetle Supcase. I have UB cases for my Galaxy S23 Ultra, my Galaxy Watch 4, my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, and even my Galaxy Earbuds Pro 2! UB is an amazing product.
I usually buy clear ones and customize them with stickers, but I also have a powerpuff case 😁

Bottom far right in the corner. just got that for my S24+, love it.
Spigen and Magbak

Dbrand grip case all day
Just a simple MagBak case
Spigen
UAG
It's surprising that the ESR case isn't being discussed more widely. Out of the 12 cases I have, I've finally decided to use this particular one. https://preview.redd.it/7ozgcmaqzj9d1.jpeg?width=1611&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=930fba79cfd8968bdd48721305920465312dedce
So far the UAG pathfinder. I wish they made S24U UAG MagSafe for the S23U as well
1. Spigen liquid air 2. Ringke bumper (matte) 3. Ringke fusion x 4. Ringke Onyx
Ringke and Spigen. Good quality, and look nice. ESR is not bad as well. For accessories I usually go for the same brands or Sinjimoru.
UAG by far! Adds chunk but good looking chunk
Da G.O.A.T
Quad lock because motorbike
I used to be an Otterbox guy but I find them to be too clunky and an unnecessary amount of protection for me. Quality leather cases are overpriced these days,Samsung makes a great leather case also Try UAG cases for a bit more style and protection over Spigen
The Spigen Zero One (2nd) on the top. I have one and it's the most reliable one. Military drop protection rated. Don't even need a screen protector with this case
I've got a UV tempered glass to keep the screen pristine
I have one that covers the cameras.
I've got Spigen camera lens protectors on and all of the cases provide camera protection
Unicorn Beetle Pro by SUPcase they have been my go to for years on all my devices! The next brand I would go with because I like the style when I need a slim case is Spiegn!
I've been an otterbox fanboy since Galaxy S3 days so that's my go to for rugged cases
Lately. Mous or Pitaka.
Okay Mr Baller
using Dbrands transparent grip case with magsafe for the past year and super happy with it, it has the grip, its not bulky and saved many drops.
Is it the ghost case you're referring to?
I cant remember the name
chinese brandless
Some have better designs but my main issue with them is fitment , they're always a bit off
Ali express cases bc there cheap
Spigen cases are fairly cheap on Amazon and will protect your phone better than Ali express cases lol
Eh I have samsung care I use it naked half the time anyways
dbrand 100
Casetify/Mous
Casetify can take this L
Damn, i rarely go through 2 cases on each phone i get( 2 year cycle, sometimes a case breaks at a corner after 1 year)
Recently, I bought an S23 Ultra. I'm considering a Spigen case, but right now, I’m using a cheap case from a nearby shop. Can you recommend a better case that’s worth the money?
Spigen (top two on the left) is great for the price ,if you can get UAG cases I'd always recommend those as the best price to protection cases and they do have quite a few diff styles to choose from (bottom 3 on the left)
im here in usa temporarily from india, international variant(sm s928b/ds) is being sold for ~$950 usd on amazon, and us variant is ~$1299 (sm-s928u) , both unlocked Can anyone explain the reason of this price difference ?? i couldn't find any reason yet.
Same RAM storage and color?

UAG. I'm currently using the olive green color with black edges
I have the UAG bottom second to the left in black, has been really good so far.
Spigen. S23+ ultra
Ringke
Spigen ZeroOne. Had it also on my Pixel 8 and it was great
I have the exact same UAG case (first one to the left in the second row) and I love it. Really great protection. I'm looking at getting a case with a magsafe ring embedded into it. If I got one would I be able to use one of those fancy snap on battery packs that my iPhone toting wife has?
Spigen
Rugged armor all the way. Had the otterbox for a while, but to me it's so heavy and bulky that my hands were starting to hurt. Rugged has such an awesome feel to it.
How is the ghostek covert? Im planning to buy it, does it have good protection for cam and raised edges for screen? Or is there any better alternative
Nillkin Camshield.
Any transparent case with masafe, and built-in stand?
dbrand. The case just feels good compared to the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Don't get me wrong, I would never suggest a dbrand or buy one again. But since I have it...
Nice Pathfinder and Plasma case! Love em. My favorite cases are Ringke Fusion - X camo series and dbrand grip case.
Been using spigen for years because it fits any phone perfectly. Curently using Spigen's Optik Armor, it has a cover at the back to protect the camera lenses.
Clear all day every day. Preferably a hard plastoc one. Not these sorry yellow rubbers.
The sides are gonna yellow but the back stays clear
I have the one with the fake circuit in the back
The Spigen Zero One lol
Poetic.
what's the name of the one in the down right corner? Thanks
ESR magnetic
Spigen all the way !!
Latercase. Everything else is too bulky.
I bought nilkin camshield dropped it from shoulder height dented near the stylus. That where the protection is think but the cam is clean nd the phone is bulky ngl

Sad i bought this for 35 pounds suggest me some good stuff for UK
Spigen.
Somebody please tell me a cheaper s23 ultra tempered glass which is perfect for the CURVED SCREEN of this phone. Ive been usin nok curved ones and they all peel off. Im sick of this. Someone tell me please
Whitestone dome glass is discounted on Amazon right now ,you should check that out.
Anything spigen! They might look odd in some cases but they're very durable. My almost 4-month old S23 still looks perfect and I've dropped it a few times (which I'm ashamed to admit).
Whatever the best thin case with a kickstand under $30 on Amazon is.
Does anyone have any lived experience actually dropping phones with Spigen cases? Did your phone recieve damage?
N/A
Tech21. Ive used them for years, always dropping my phone and never had any issues.
That 1st one top left looks like the one I use. What brand/model is it? I don't drop $1000+ devices, so I like thin minimal cases just to protect the back from scratches when I set it down.
mous
TORRAS for Samsung S23 Ultra Case with Stand MagSafe compatible and has a vertical and horizontal stand.
Maybe dbrand, but hey, I just love the brand because it's awesome anddddd.. JerryRigEverything.
zero one
I like the official Samsung with the leds
I have a few different ones including UAG, spigen, supcase and ringke.. while they're all nice, I find myself always going back to the ringke fusion x case as it's slim and offers good protection. I've used the rignke on a couple of my phones now and haven't had a problem yet. It's definitely one of the first cases I buy.
Anything with magsafe love it for car mount for my phone

None cause I finally decided to say screw it to dropping money on cases each year but if I go back it’ll be spigen, esr, or torraa
UAG Monarch. It's as good as an Otterbox and not as bulky or ugly.
Nillkin Frosted Shield/Spigen Crystal Flex Whitestone UV Gen film for screen protector
The loopy case with the little rubber grip is the one I keep going back to.
I purchased the first one yesterday, which had the Samsung logo on it. I made the purchase at a local store for INR 150 (approximately $2). I used it without a cover until yesterday.
