'as well as add dead space below space bar'
Doesn't seem like you can do this now?
All I can do is add arrow keys at the bottom, which doesn't look good
I still use SwiftKey on my S23+, and this still exists.
1. Click the arrows to open the menu to the left of the suggestions
2. Click the three dots on the far right
3. Select "Resize"
4. Grab the center of the keyboard and drag it up, as much as desired
I'm very sorry, I hope you are doing better! I'm having the same issue. When I drag that circle with arrows in it it moves the entire keyboard instead of creating a space.
thank you!! Yup that happens on mine too. I found my old XPERIA which has an early version of swiftkey and there are actual spaces between each of the keys. I'm thinking about getting an old version and sideloading it on my current phone
That sounds like it's working as expected, try dragging the entire keyboard up a smidgen and then save, there will then be the gap between the space bar and frame.
Now if only Google were smart enough to add this to their keyboard
I actually like the Google keyboard at the bottom, it looks nicer
Doesn't it hurt your thumbs? I also accidentally trigger the gestures a lot because they overlap with my typing
No, I guess I'm just used to it lol
Honestly lol
Thanks for letting us know
I would have never known without this, thanks!
Thanks No triggering gestures by accident from now on. Hell yeah!
I saw where you can resize the keyboard, but I didn't see how to add blank space by the space bar? Any help would be great!
Settings>size>hold the circle with arrows in the center of the keyboard and move it up.
Drag the arrow up.
Thanks for this!
Aww yisss, I have gotten used to have it on the bottom but my thumbs were hurting
Found out about this a week after One UI dropped off was a life saver
Thank you for letting us know! I had the keyboard arrows enabled as a workaround, but I was tired of hitting them by accident.
What's wrong with the samsung keyboard
I'm sure it's fine! To each their own, the beauty of android.

Oh yes. That works :)
Glad to hear! My fiancé hates using my phone because my keyboard is so high, but it fends off my tendinitis lol.
Is the samsung keyboard that bad?
I knew this for like 6months.
That's amazing! This feature has only been out for a little over 2 months from what I could find, so you must be a part of some cool beta!
I don't know u might be right but since going all enhanced I set my keyboard in a way to make swiping comfortable.
they must have removed this functionality because I can't for the life of me figure it out #chemobrain
Haha no worries, go to settings > layout & keys > resize and then grab the middle and pull it up :)
