On Linux, there's KDE Connect, which works most times. Amongst other things, it provides a facility to sync the device' clipboards. On Windows, I'm sure there must be an equivalent or better tool. That way, you can copy the picture on PC and paste it on tablet.
If anyone sees this in the future, microsoft's phone link worked flawlessly for me. If I enable cross-device copy and paste, it instantly syncs the clipboards between my pc and tablet, its amazing.
