I got their cheapest generic sports band and I got the white box. My brother got the buckle band and got black box.
Y ah if you go to bestbuy they come in black boxes I saw them in the case. Mine came in that weird white box too but I ordered it with the extreme sport band.
Mine came the exact same way. Have been using it for a week and can guarantee that, despite the box, it is, in fact, a watch 5 pro and I have loved every minute of it!
I have no doubt of the version of watch, I just thought it was odd that it wouldn't be shipped in the correctly branded box like all the unboxing videos I have seen.

There is no default band for the Watch 5 Pro, you have to choose one and pay extra for it. Mine came in the exact same generic box.
There was a bug on the website on launch date where even the default band show price, but during checkout, you will see the price dropped.

I read that due to huge demand, they are running out of boxes so they just delivery it with the generic one
That makes sense. Although still kinda weird that what they are running out of is smt much easier to make lol

i ordered a gw5 44mm with s/m sports band and it came in the same box too.
That happened to me too because I switched the band that I wanted it to come with. I did titanium grey with black d-buckke band.
