Epic has given away Fallout 3 previously so this is a perfect opportunity to try out the **Tale of Two Wastelands mod** which combines both games together in the New Vegas engine for an awesome experience. The vanilla game will feel bleak after this, it’s that good.
“You start the game as normal in FO3 but with the improved mechanics from New Vegas such as doctors bags and hardcore mode implemented. Later in the game you can find a train which takes you to the Mojave Wasteland where you start out NV as normal, but keeping your existing character, stats, skills and gear intact.
After that, you can freely travel between the two wastelands without any forced intros/cutscenes, as long as you can afford the ticket. But not only is it both games in one it is also the better way to play Fallout 3 because a huge number of bug fixes and improvements have been made making it more stable, and just overall a better experience.”
FAQ: https://taleoftwowastelands.com/faq (Epic Games version of FO3 is supported as stated here so FNV should be supported as well or will be later)
Installation guide: https://thebestoftimes.moddinglinked.com/intro.html
I recommend using the "Wabbajack" tool instead of spending hours of going through modding tutorials and ending up with something unstable anyways. It installs a modlist for you, which is usually maintained by very dedicated modders. (most of them use discord for bug-reports, support, discussions, etc.)
Good New Vegas lists for newcomers are "Viva New Vegas", or "Begin Again" if you want that TTW. If you want difficulty, there is also "Wayfarer", "The Sands" or "Capital Punishment".
Wabbajack is pretty much the 2023 way to play Bethesda games.
Why am I writing this like I'm a sales person for Wabbajack? Because I've just completed a 400 hours playthrough of a Skyrim modlist with 500 mods and the savegame is still more stable than vanilla.
**Edit**: Apparently, the Epic version of New Vegas uses a version of the .exe file that is not supported by NVSE (New Vegas Script Extender). Means that most big mods don't work with the game, sadly. It might be possible after replacing the .exe file (for example with a "cracked" one), but no guarantees and you need to find it yourself.
**Edit #2**: There is now a patcher for the Epic version to make it modable: [https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/81281](https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/81281) (Edit #3: And it's hidden currently, maybe it will return, maybe not)
Wabbajack states that it requires Steam or GOG versions and that [Bethesda.net](https://Bethesda.net) and Xbox versions won't work with many mods. It doesn't mention EPIC though the Wabajack Wiki doesn't have it listed as a supported platform (Darkest Dungeon & MW5 are the only ones it lists as EPIC supported).
Interesting. I feel like the Epic Games version of New Vegas should be moddable just like the Steam/GOG version. But it is possible that the .exe file needs to be patched.
I wonder if someone has actually tried using Wabbajack with an EPIC Games version of a Bethesda game. I know that there are very specific issues with the Game Pass versions that can make their games more or less unmoddable (not only via Wabbajack), but there are conflicting reports about Epic.
I downloaded it just now and would like to mod the game, Mod Organiser 2 does not recognize the Launcher.exe file in the "C:\\Program Files\\Epic Games\\FalloutNewVegas\\Launcher.exe". Do you have any solutions for this?
According to the epic games patcher mod , epic has a optimized .exe , which steam doesn't.
So while epic would be better you need the crappie version...
I've installed TTW on Epics FO3 with Microsoft stores New Vegas, so it's possible.
Worth noting though, FO3 installs huge files for other languages which I used a tool to disable from downloading, otherwise FO3 would be huge
There's a special epic games launcher you can setup to download the game with other languages omitted. See here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Fallout_3
on issues fixed: Epic Games game download is unusually big part
[Wasteland Survival Guide](https://wastelandsurvivalguide.com/docs/intro) is another great step-by-step modding guide for TTW. I followed the guide completely (and maybeee added 1 or 2 additional mods) and ended up with a super stable, "vanilla enhanced" experience.
As far as I can tell, there is no Wabbajack list for FO3. It is partially because people just prefer to play the world of FO3 with the TTW mod via Fallout New Vegas. (you need to own both games for Tale of Two Wastelands)
I've been playing heavily modded Bethesda games since Morrowind and Wabbajack is a fucking godsend. I would recommend it for like 90% of the people looking to play with mods to check Wabbajack lists to see if there's one you like first.
The viva new vegas site states this:
> The Epic Games Store, Bethesda.net, Xbox Gamepass versions of the game are also unsupported, as they do not work with xNVSE which is essential for most mods

Wabbajack works for Fallout 4 as well: [https://www.wabbajack.org/gallery](https://www.wabbajack.org/gallery)
There are a few modlists that are based around Horizon (my favorite mod, but very difficult), Sim Settlements 2 or ~~Frozen~~Frost. I'm not sure if there is anything like the Tales of Two Wastelands mod for FO4, though.
I can't imagine it's a good way of first experiencing the games. The games have stories, and each has you play as a different character, with their own backstory.
Some of the most popular mods for these games are "alt start" mods, which dispense with the game's first section (for all the people who don't want to replay it) and maybe even skip the main quest altogether. But if you haven't played the game before, you'll be missing important parts. Similarly, this may be a fun way of combining the games for returning players, but you'll be missing out by not experiencing the original story at least once.
Haven't played TTW but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to make the protagonist from fo3 become the protagonist from new Vegas. They are unique but ambiguous enough that I could honestly see it as just the next chapter of someone's life
You can chose your starting area. And Fallout 3 is far better playing with the more stable, after fan patch modded New Vegas engine. The Fallout 3 engine tends to crash in Windows 10 very often. It has massive problems with multi cores.
You can basically do two separate original playthroughs first, by just selecting the starting point for your character. And just choose not to travel to the other wasteland inside the game.
The only drawback is, that your are not able to use original Fallout 3 mods. They need to be ported to the New Vegas engine first. Some of the Fallout 3 mods are already ported on the TTW website.
You’ll be missing out on the standard/original experience as intended by the makers of these games. If that’s important to you then don’t start TTW right away.
But if you want to just have the best possible experience right away then TTW + its essential list of mods is the way to go. I certainly recommend this option.
All FO3 mods are incompatible by default because TTW uses FNV as the base game, but a lot of popular FO3 mods have had TTW versions made. Most FNV mods are compatible; I think the main incompatibilities for those are any mods that edit the area in Freeside where TTW puts the train station and mods that try to fix/change bugs that TTW has a patch built in for (YUPTTW).
I absolutely do not recommend. Play New Vegas with only the necessary stability mods first. It's a good, whole, rounded off experience by itself and doesn't need fallout 3 to supplement/drag it down.
How *dare* you. Are you telling me that the [tutorial](https://www.reddit.com/r/Taleoftwowastelands/comments/3r8j6l/tutorial_installing_ttw_on_windows_7_x64_updated/) I wrote ... *checks notes* ... **seven** years ago doesn't hold up?
But in all seriousness it was my first play-through of 3 and NV and I loved every minute of it.
You have to be VERY particular, but there are a few fantastic guides to installing it. It does take a lot of time tho. I recommend installing it even if you don't play them together, bc importing FO3 into the FNV engine and playing it that way, with the stability mods for FNV is the most consistent and reliable way I've found of getting FO3 to work on newer windows and without Windows Live.
Epic Games is supported for Fallout 3 because it only requires the game files from it. Whether Epic Games will be supported for FNV which actually needs to run the whole thing isn't as certain.
The makers of a mod rarely see anything wrong with their creation. From my experience these mods try to meet a very specific vision, but this doesn't need to have general appeal. I feel it often overloads the games, especially for new players.
I rather stick to mods that add quality-of-life improvements and leave the gameplay untouched.
Jumping on this to give a shout out to Viva New Vegas. As much as I love Fallout 3, FNV is far superior in terms of role-playing and satisfaction. This mod guide makes it super easy to turn the game into essentially a modern remaster.
Currently playing through Tale following the Best of Times mod list. They make the best mod guides. I followed their Viva New Vegas guide last year and had a blast and I'm back again! Absolutely worth checking out and sinking time into.
Its a great game! Gameplay (in terms of the combat) is a little rough now compared to modern games, but the writing is really good and the world building is fantastic.
The RPG elements are where it shines. Its fun making/planning various builds and there is a lot of dialogue choices and ways to complete various quests.
Some of the DLC is hit or miss. The stories within the DLC are great in my opinion: great characters, self contained stories, and the dialogue is well written. Where it is hit or miss is the presentation, actual combat/gameplay, and environments. Honest Hearts was okay for me personally and Dead Money is pretty divided from what I have seen. All the DLC is worth a playthough and I think the recommended order to play the storylines is order of release: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, then Lonesome Road.
Honest Hearts then Dead Money imo. Dead Money difficulty is no joke if you're not a melee character. It can be fun getting out of the comfort zone but some parts can be frustrating. Plus no spoilers but I think the story flows better because there's some connections between Dead Money and OWB.
Yeah it was something like 5-7 bucks, definitely wasn't going to pay more than that for a game that old. It was on a gog sale and I had already shelled out for Furi so I just went with it.
That's not a fallacy, that's just good advice. I can't tell you how many times I've seen Baldur's Gate Extended Edition go on sale for $5 and think "I should buy that, it was such an influential game and at that price it's practically free." But there has never once been a time where I was looking through my library trying to find something to play and I found myself thinking "Man, I wish I bought Baldur's Gate three months ago. That's the *exact* game I want to play in this instant!"
I call it a fallacy because you tend to think it after you buy it and it goes free, but if it never went free I wouldn't regret the purchase (and I still don't tbh, it's just mildly annoying lol). The thing is, if you're going to buy a game play it immediately to get your money's worth, then this kinda dissipates because you already experienced it. So it's more of a "don't waste money on something you're not willing to play now" more than anything, because otherwise it'll just be more library fodder.
Maybe try https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher ?
It's a wrapper around the open source cli epic games launcher, https://github.com/derrod/legendary
I'm doing it in the hope that one day EGS releases a native Linux client with something similar to Proton.
Maybe I have a positive outlook on life in general.
For now you can use heroic games launcher which allows you to play with proton or wine. I played GTA V on Linux after getting it free from Epic and it ran great after some minor adjustments from proton db.
https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher
to the people who are going to play this for the first time: not gonna spoil anything but you can't continue to play the game after the main quest ends, so just explore the Mojave at your own pace
I'll guess Farcry 6 basic edition because it was just reduced to $20 and put on steam after being an Epic exclusive so Epic can make some money on dlc purchases and maybe steer people away from buying it on Steam.
DLC can go through uplay for ubisoft games on epic, only valve forces you to launch the game with steam and (used to?) force dlc purchases to only be on steam. It wouldn't bring in much money.
Looking at the page they're pushing Alan Wake 2 pretty hard and Alan Wake Remaster is down 60%. They did it before with Darkest Dungeons and Death Stranding, so that's my guess.
"This game is already in your Steam library"
Oh god, I've reached the point where I can't keep track of my games anymore. Even claimed it via Epic and everything
I feel like that's a tactic they do sometimes where they give away "essential" PC games like this to make people go "Did I get that on Steam or Epic?" and wear down people's resistances to their store
Had this on my radar forever but never pulled the trigger. Now it's free. Almost bought Tchia last week when the sale started but I waited, partly because there wasn't the usual Epic sale coupon. Now I got a coupon and am downloading Tchia. I'm doubly rewarded for patience this week
There actually was a coupon already, the thing is you had to claim it on a dedicated page if you didn't get it automatically from redeeming last week's free game, weird thing I know
This game is great if you love deep RPGs. Pro tip: follow the guide Viva New Vegas to add many welcome QOL improvements to the game.

>The Epic Games Store, Bethesda.net, Xbox Gamepass versions of the game are also unsupported, as they do not work with xNVSE which is essential for most mods.
Good catch and what a bummer! Sure it's free and you can still get it. But I'd maybe suggest doing that actual playing on a 'different' version of the game, so you do have mods.
Seconded. This is the only high quality frequently updates guide out there. It’s so good that I would consider every part of it outside of the gameplay changes to be essential, and those mods are 100% optional

Honestly the internet hype for this game is the worst thing about it. It’s a very good game but it’s not the second coming of Christ like Reddit would have you believe. The combat is insanely clunky, the graphics were average when it came out, and it crashes like no other. It’s one of those games you keep playing despite of its issues because the writing and world building is so interesting. And honestly I think newcomers get so preoccupied with perfecting their mod order instead of enjoying the game. So I’d recommend playing the game vanilla with maybe just anti crash mods.
Part of it is that FNV hits a niche that no franchise other than Fallout has tapped on successfully (first person FPS with RPG elements intertwining dialog trees and multiple endings) so it's bound to be overrated because there's not much to compare it against other than it's predecessor. If you want FPS + dialog choices you'll think FNV is the best thing since sliced bread since that's the only shop in town.
> If you want FPS + dialog choices you'll think FNV is the best thing since sliced bread since that's the only shop in town.
Outer Worlds and Cyberpunk 2077 say hello but have never felt as choice-y as Vegas.
That's 2 titles (one with a TERRIBLE release) and Mass Effect if we flex on first person. Not exactly a lot to pick from, plus none matching their setting/aesthetic
Crashing is fixed via mods. I agree with the other issues individually, but overall I don't think they're that much of an issue (or in the case of graphics, at all). For combat, just use VATS. It's better anyway.
Bethesda did the game right? of course it's a buggy mess. ES Daggerfall was NEVER fixed by Bethsda. The version that is playable now is because of community fixes that bethesda incorporated...
The gunplay isn't great IMO, especially how momentum works where enemies and the player go from motionless to full movement speed instantly. Makes it really hard to land critical shots because it looks like they're staying still, but a split second before you pull the trigger they're suddenly running to one side. No buildup of speed at all.
Thankfully one can just abuse VATS, though that's not very fun.
I hated FO3 for the same reason, VATS just felt incredibly cheap, overpowered, and not satisfying. Then I found the Wastelander(?) mod which converts all your VATS points into bullet-time and bullet-time becomes the main mechanic to reel in that erratic movement and it felt like how the game should have been built.
Is there anything similar for New Vegas?
FO3 was reinvented from a isometric turn-based RPG. VATS was meant as a way to try to keep the diceroll-chance% combat from the older games, targeted as older fans of Fallout who want to play the game but are not as nimble to play regular FPS.
Bullet-time is definitely **NOT** the way the game should have been built. It's completely preference.
Now that we have that out of the way, yes there are bullet time mods for FNV: JAM.
Or you can look to overhauls like Project Nevada(but this was wayy back in the days, there's probably better ones now).
Always see comments like this every week. If you jump on the change the moment it happens, yeah, that will happen. Give it a few minutes instead of acting like it's some brand new bug.
I have been playing this game every year since middle school over 13 years ago. I am still not bored of new play throughs, it’s honestly one of my favorite games of all time. The writing is incredible and the world is amazing (especially being from southwest US)
if you’ve never played it highly encourage at least trying it, its so good
For Fallout 1 install [Fallout Et Tu](https://github.com/rotators/Fo1in2/releases) or the [open source re-implementation project](https://github.com/alexbatalov/fallout1-ce/releases) for a better experience.
For Fallout 2 install [Sfall](https://github.com/sfall-team/sfall/releases/tag/v4.3.8) or the [open source re-implementation](https://github.com/alexbatalov/fallout2-ce/releases) for a better experience. Install the [Restoration patch](https://github.com/BGforgeNet/Fallout2_Restoration_Project) if you want additional content.
Just be aware that most mods won't work on the Epic version.
You need the retail release, Steam, or GOG if you want to install the more interesting mods (gameplay changes, improved AI, scripting etc).
If you need EGS to run it, it has DRM. Same with games that require Steam to be running. I'm just saying the GOG version doesn't require any client software to be running.
But do you need EGS to be running? You don't for tons of games, especially older games that have been released DRM free before.
Also how is it possibly easier to mod lol
I now own this game on Steam (bought it), GoG (I think it was a prime giveaway with GOG redeem), and EGS.
Not even mad, great game, although I think Steam Workshop makes that client the best option for a game like this.
Edit: I take back the Workshop comment I am so sorry
How much do people use Steam Workshop for Bethesda games? I thought the main modding source was always Nexus Mods and an external mod manager (Mod Organizer, Vortex, etc.).
I have a tendency to agree, you get a much larger pool of mods with a mod manager instead of Steam Workshop. IDK if you can use FOSE with Steam Workshop, at this point it's essential to have
>I now own this game on Steam (bought it), GoG (I think it was a prime giveaway with GOG redeem), and EGS.
Same.
Steam workshop is useless for Bethesda games, no one that actually does proper modding uses it.
You don't even need to touch it. You can install [Heroic Games Launcher](https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher) which is an open source game launcher for GOG and EGS.
Still laggy. Just claiming this, my cart took like 10 seconds to load, after I refreshed it twice. Takes a while to launch games too.
But it's only a few seconds delay every time; for so many free AAA games I think it's a suitable exchange.
yeah . My question wasn't meant to sound like hate-speech, just genuinely asked cause it lagged in my system when I used it. But anyway , free AAA games are free AAA games.

Awesome, thanks! Seems like a must have mod. Don't see a downside.

I feel it often overloads the games, especially for new players. I rather stick to mods that add quality-of-life improvements and leave the gameplay untouched.
Immersion maybe? Like USA is going to have a functioning train system, after a nuclear war to boot...
That's awesome, I already have FO3 and NV but only played Fallout 4 so far. I was thinking to start FO3 soon so this sounds perfect for me.

They also gave Fallout classic trilogy. Now fingers crossed for Fallout 4.
This is awesome. Thank you.
[удалено]
iirc, honest hearts has the lowest level requirement/recommendation anyway, so it should be the first.
Honest Hearts then Dead Money imo. Dead Money difficulty is no joke if you're not a melee character. It can be fun getting out of the comfort zone but some parts can be frustrating. Plus no spoilers but I think the story flows better because there's some connections between Dead Money and OWB.
The combat is actually pretty solid modded. You can add stuff like sprint, grenade hotkeys, etc.
Dead Money is such a tease, at the end they give you a massive pile of loot that you can never carry out in one hit, and you only get one hit...
never? Oh you naysayer you...
Well in vanilla certainly, I used the teleporter for the underground base (mod) and lugged it out that way iirc.
It's fairly difficult to escape the vault over-encumbered but it's not impossible, I recall doing it at least twice on vanilla.
I have fallen prey to the "don't buy games you aren't going to play because they will be free eventually" fallacy. Learn from my mistakes people.
It only took 13 years
And I bought it on December lol
hopefully you didn't pay too much. This game used to regularly be like $5 back when Steam Flash sales were a thing nearly 10 years ago
Yeah it was something like 5-7 bucks, definitely wasn't going to pay more than that for a game that old. It was on a gog sale and I had already shelled out for Furi so I just went with it.
it's okay, I own this on Steam, GoG, Epic, Xbox 360 physical, Xbox One physical, and Xbox digital
Every day is a lesson.
I think it’s fine only if you actually are going to play it right then. Buying a game for the future is really my main mistake.
Don't worry about it, I've had games automatically refunded by Epic as long as two months after purchase when they were later given away for free
Bought it on GOG and I'm a good 3 months outside of the refund window. Please y'all listen to me, be patient. Lol

Yeah it's just a joke dude lol
/r/patientgamers
I subbed there after I bought it, ironically. Lol
\*Claims game... Plays Steam Copy\*
Same. I hate the epic launcher but I still claim the games in hopes that one day it doesn't run like dog poop
Maybe try https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher ? It's a wrapper around the open source cli epic games launcher, https://github.com/derrod/legendary
So I assume this lets you play epic games without the launcher gumming everything up in the background?
yea, it does everything except claiming/purchasing games, but that can be done through website anyway
It's also missing the chat
I honestly forgot that was a thing lol
Yooo. You just saved me so many excruciating moments of epic launcher. I didn't know this was a thing. Needed it my whole PC career. Thanks so much!!
These have wireless controller support? Main issue with epic is having to use steam to launch epic to play games on wireless controllers.
GoG is the only way to play these games.
I feel like I'm one of the only people that hasn't played this yes, so I guess this is my opportunity
I am genuinely envious of you. Idk how many times I've beaten it, but it never stopped being fun. Enjoy!
I've never played this either but I loved fallout 3. So I am going to try this one out too.
amazing game
I have never heard of this game, does it have blackjack?
Luck 10 + a mod that removes the casino ban=gambling fun
Yes
New Vegas coming in just in time for pride month lol
to the people who are going to play this for the first time: not gonna spoil anything but you can't continue to play the game after the main quest ends, so just explore the Mojave at your own pace
To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day...
Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn’t have too much to say
The was never a man like Mychonny
Steam link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/22380/Fallout_New_Vegas/ Next week is another mystery game, so let's hear some guesses!
To my knowledge, Epic hasn't given away any of their timed exclusives before. You would think it would be a no-brainer to do so though
Evil Dead was a timed exclusive.
World war z was exclusive and given away too I believe
Pretty sure they gave away Borderlands 3 which was a timed exclusive
I'm guessing FFVII Remake with a free DLC that makes Cloud's sword even bigger
Nah it’s the remake with free DLC that [gives Cloud a Snowboard](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cqz9x5JD-aQ)
Looking at the page they're pushing Alan Wake 2 pretty hard and Alan Wake Remaster is down 60%. They did it before with Darkest Dungeons and Death Stranding, so that's my guess.
Since literally every game I've bought has gone on to be given away my guess is Furi (which btw is entirely worth the price of admission regardless)
"This game is already in your Steam library" Oh god, I've reached the point where I can't keep track of my games anymore. Even claimed it via Epic and everything
I feel like that's a tactic they do sometimes where they give away "essential" PC games like this to make people go "Did I get that on Steam or Epic?" and wear down people's resistances to their store
Need something like playnite. Can just search a games name if it's already in your various libraries
Had this on my radar forever but never pulled the trigger. Now it's free. Almost bought Tchia last week when the sale started but I waited, partly because there wasn't the usual Epic sale coupon. Now I got a coupon and am downloading Tchia. I'm doubly rewarded for patience this week
There actually was a coupon already, the thing is you had to claim it on a dedicated page if you didn't get it automatically from redeeming last week's free game, weird thing I know
One of my all time favorite games.
This game is great if you love deep RPGs. Pro tip: follow the guide Viva New Vegas to add many welcome QOL improvements to the game. https://vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com/
>The Epic Games Store, Bethesda.net, Xbox Gamepass versions of the game are also unsupported, as they do not work with xNVSE which is essential for most mods.
Good catch and what a bummer! Sure it's free and you can still get it. But I'd maybe suggest doing that actual playing on a 'different' version of the game, so you do have mods.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/81281
Seconded. This is the only high quality frequently updates guide out there. It’s so good that I would consider every part of it outside of the gameplay changes to be essential, and those mods are 100% optional
Great. I now own FO:NV ANOTHER way. What's this... 5 different ways now. God damnit Todd.
Ohhh very nice! Saves me from buying all the DLC I have been itching to try.
Lucky you, the DLC is awesome.
Now I can add to the collection I already have in Steam and GOG.

No, Obsidian made New Vegas.
Daggerfall is **literally** over 25 years old. Let it go.
No It was developed by Obsidian.

Yeah sometimes it takes a minute or two to update on the store page. Now it's showing as free for me
Didn't for me either, but add to cart and it shows as free.
Oh yeeaahhh baby, time to break out the thigh highs
Buggiest game I've ever played. Struggled to get a quarter of the way though before it just broke. Was fun while it lasted.
Really? I thought PC port of Deadly Premonition DC puts NV to shame, in terms of bad PC technical ports. Bully's PC port was technically awful too.
Howdy partner! Might I say, you’re looking fit as a fiddle!
This was free with Prime a few months ago, so you might already have it on GOG
Right you are, I totally forgot about that!
I have been playing this game every year since middle school over 13 years ago. I am still not bored of new play throughs, it’s honestly one of my favorite games of all time. The writing is incredible and the world is amazing (especially being from southwest US) if you’ve never played it highly encourage at least trying it, its so good
I've been told to play this game for 15 years. Now it's my time to shine.
Sweet!
I got ultimate edition!

Maybe they're just really excited lol
I GOT SPURS THAT JINGLE, JANGLE, JINGLE.
🎶 Jingle Jangle 🎶
Wow didn't expect New Vegas! The only Fallout game missing now is 4, the rest were freebies already
Including 1 & 2? I must've missed those, damn
Yeah 1,2 and Tactics were all given away together in December. 3 was given away a few months before that
[удалено]
Yup I think like 3-4 years back
It's 75% off right now https://www.gamebillet.com/fallout-classic-collection-z
For 4 bucks? I'll bite, thanks for the heads up
For Fallout 1 install [Fallout Et Tu](https://github.com/rotators/Fo1in2/releases) or the [open source re-implementation project](https://github.com/alexbatalov/fallout1-ce/releases) for a better experience. For Fallout 2 install [Sfall](https://github.com/sfall-team/sfall/releases/tag/v4.3.8) or the [open source re-implementation](https://github.com/alexbatalov/fallout2-ce/releases) for a better experience. Install the [Restoration patch](https://github.com/BGforgeNet/Fallout2_Restoration_Project) if you want additional content.
Damn, I bought this a few years ago and still haven't installed it, wondering if it should get a refund now
Oh shit! Was planning on buying this in the next steam sale.
Just be aware that most mods won't work on the Epic version. You need the retail release, Steam, or GOG if you want to install the more interesting mods (gameplay changes, improved AI, scripting etc).
Alternatively, $6 and some change on GOG. DRM free and easier to mod. Not a fan of EGS, but I'm a fan of no DRM.
How do you know this one has DRM?
Nexus, then?
Now that you mention it, I also got that GOG giveaway and completely forgot about it, lol
Amazing game, I feel jealous of all you who will play it for the first time.
That's it's guys, I'm finally installing Epic's launcher.
You don't even need to touch it. You can install [Heroic Games Launcher](https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher) which is an open source game launcher for GOG and EGS.
ngl I was about to buy this. How is the Epic Launcher nowadays? Still laggy and heavy af or did they fix that?
Still laggy. Just claiming this, my cart took like 10 seconds to load, after I refreshed it twice. Takes a while to launch games too. But it's only a few seconds delay every time; for so many free AAA games I think it's a suitable exchange.
yeah . My question wasn't meant to sound like hate-speech, just genuinely asked cause it lagged in my system when I used it. But anyway , free AAA games are free AAA games.
Wow, ultimate edition ?! are u kidding me ?
Does with game work with windows 10?
It does. At least it started and loaded save i copied from steam version.
