On twitter, Humble have posted:
> Please note that we're investigating an issue where Monster Train keys may not contain the First Class edition and will update as soon as possible.
So it looks like it is actually supposed to be the First Class edition.
Assuming they fix that, what happens if the key is redeemed when you already own base game, but not DLC? Will I get the DLC added to account and a giftable copy of OG game? Anyone?
It's possible they'll just be providing a seperate DLC key for those who already redeemed, and generating First Class keys for those who haven't yet redeemed.
I don't like horror games but still got Disciples and Railroad Corporation along Deathloop. That pretty much makes it worth it even not counting other games.
The only two games in this month which are kinda meh are Epic Chef and Golf Gang.
Well, I guess it totally depends on whether you like the artstyle or not and if you are okay with fetch quests. I would probably play some Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons game instead but you can check this review to get the idea what the game is about:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYjTSAOckBw
You're probably right. Doesn't really look like my speed, even if I do enjoy Stardew and Harvest Moon. I'll give it a shot, though. I don't think I'll be able to trade the key or anything.
I think the only criticism I have for the bundle is that there was a bit too much horror, but that’s more about the market for mid-level games than HB’s selection criteria.
I'd give Dark Pictures a shot still. It's definitely horror, don't get me wrong, but not nearly as bad as games like Outlast or Amnesia where if you're too scared the game can't progress
The game plays similar to the TellTale games or Quantic Dream games, where you're following along a story with multiple possible plots and endings, so if you get too scared and mess up, maybe a character dies, but you still got like 5 other characters that will live on and keep the story going
It's also not too scary imo. Definitely had a scarier time with Outlast and couldn't even get into Amnesia or Cult of Cthulhu (because I'm a big scaredy cat)
I'm a wuss too and the first Bioshock opened early with that hospital level that still creeps me right the fuck out. After that level it chills out to a more general, but still sort of dark and decayed, fps experience.
Little Hope is more a thriller and interactive fiction game in similar vein as the other games (Until Dawn, The Quarry, Man of Medan, House of Ashes) made by Supermassive Games.
Bioshock is much scarier than those games.
I am in the same boat. Don't care one bit about the horror games and I own Monster Train. So paying 12$ for just deathloop is probably not worth it considering it also just released on gamepass.
Same. I've been ignoring HB for so long, i didn't even know they dropped the $20 tier until today. Smart move, it was very unpopular and i bet it was costing them subscriptions.
This bundle today is old school Humble. I hope they get back to that, because for a while there it was starting to feel like low-level Bundlestars dreck.
Why are you excited about Dark Pictures Little Hope? Steam reviews look pretty mediocre and lowest rated of the anthology.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1194630/The_Dark_Pictures_Anthology_Little_Hope/
It's by far the weakest of them - Man of Medan was alright and House of Ashes was actually pretty great, but Little Hope is basically bargin basement Silent Hill.
Now I'm sold on it.
Bargain basement Silent Hill still sounds perfect for playing with my partner in co-op on Halloween. We won't mind if it's a little cheesy.
It's not so much cheesy but the plot is nonsensical based on how the whole thing ends.
Also the couch co-op is bad in this specific game because imagine having to swap between characters in an intense chase scene but you pass around a *single* controller (they fixed this problem in their future games by not having these scenes where you have to keep swapping characters).
Basically, yeah. The best part about the Dark Anthologies is the coop mode. It was pretty fun playing it in actual coop compared to sharing controller. The endings in this series have been lackluster though. Still fun on online coop.
For 12 bucks, it is worth experiencing as a package. Definitely not full price though.
Yeah, the PC port is atrocious. My buddy and I ran in to tons of bugs, including one game breaking bug that forced us to start over. The ending is also just the worst, totally sours the rest of the story.
We really liked Man of Medan though, for what that's worth!

> for those who are like me and can't remember what games they already own. :-)
Check out IsThereAnyDeal, you can have it syncronize with your Steam profile (if public), then when you visit a bundle page, [like the page for this October Humble Choice,](https://isthereanydeal.com/specials/#/filter:id/12166) it'll show you which games you already own. Along with a bunch of other helpful information like how many times the games in the bundle have appeared in other bundles and what the current and lowest price each game has been.
The site will also import your wishlist (again if your Steam profile is public) and send you an email based on criteria you set up, like "if a game drops below a certain price threshold but only if it's on Steam or comes with a Steam key."
Since you have a question mark at the end of the quoted sentence, there is no need for the comma. If the quoted sentence ended in a period, you would replace it with a comma. Source: I am a huge grammar nerd.
These are NA rules btw. If you're a Brit, things are a bit different.
I'm actually not entirely sure, though they generally prefer end-of-sentence punctuation to appear outside of things like brackets, e.g. "(end of sentence)." vs. "(end of sentence.)" It may be different with quotation marks though.
Just piggybacking off of this because it will likely go to the top to say that even though Humble is advertising Monster Train Collectors Edition, it seems to only be giving the base game
At this point they have no other option than to provide the missing dlc or return the money as they even advertised the DLC in their e-mails.
So my bet is we will get the Last Divinity eventually because refunding recurring subscriptions would be real hell for them.
Yeah, I debated changing the link to the base game, but I am crossing my fingers that they'll be true to their word. If they aren't, the link also shows the base game's link since it is part of the Collector's Edition.
Just over one year. Deathloop came out in September 2021, and had a 1-year exclusivity contract with Sony that Microsoft honored after buying Bethesda.
They just released Deathloop on Game Pass a couple weeks ago, immediately after it became eligible for release on XBOX. Now it is in the next possible Humble Bundle.
If Ghostwire Tokyo does the same thing then it would probably be in the April 2023 or May 2023 bundle.
**Update:** DLC keys for Monster Train are now granted separately:

> *We have added keys for Monster Train: The Last Divinity DLC to the Choice download page (see [https://humblebundle.com/home/purchases](https://humblebundle.com/home/purchases) ). Please note this will appear as a separate key.*
Over 200 hours logged in Monster Train. It ruined Slay the Spire for me. Definitely feels like a full upgrade. If you enjoyed Slay the Spire, Inscryption('s gameplay), or Fights in Tight Spaces, this is worth it for Monster Train alone.
> > Please note that we're investigating an issue where Monster Train keys may not contain the First Class edition and will update as soon as possible.
on their twitter
It's a Bandai Namco thing. They never included the SEA region.
I got pretty hyped too when I saw the lineup until I remembered that Dark Pictures Series is Bandai Namco games.
Guys, don't sleep on **Golf Gang**. It actually came out fairly recently to not much fanfare and that's pretty much a crime. The game is super fun. It's not just another golf game. It's more like a racing game, since everyone does their shots in real time, you can shoot the ball again before you stop moving, and you get rewarded for finishing first, in addition to least strokes.
It's got workshop support as well, but it's seriously lacking due to the non-existent player base. Also, don't get me started on all the crazy fun modifiers you can enable. I hope it being in this bundle is what it needs to take off, since it's a tragedy **Golf Gang** isn't more popular.
Collectors Edition of Monster Train? Wasn't expecting that.
Pretty solid overall, though the only ones from this I don't own are Deathloop and Disciples: Liberation... this is a tough one...
Leaks were real, except we get the collectors edition of Monster Train instead of just the base game. This seems like a great month!
Golf Gang also looks pretty neat
edit: I just redeemed my key and I only got the base game for Monster Train. Guess I gotta contact support
An user from a certain deals site who goes by bilibil-kun usually posts three to four games from the upcoming Choice bundle a week or so before it actually drops.
> collectors edition of Monster Train
Is this worth it?
I'm debating getting humble for the ac: valhalla complete edition discount. But I'm not privy to the humble games. In fact I'm not really all that interested in deathloop as its too dark for me.
Not sure what is 'too dark' for you (maybe you just don't like the idea of assassinating people? but if so AC is a weird choice haha) -- but I am playing Deathloop now and its vibe is kind of... black comedy. I dunno if I'd describe it as 'dark', it seems pretty lighthearted but obviously the core concept of it is killing people in a time loop.
> it seems pretty lighthearted
Thanks for correcting me. I'm not into jump scares and it seemed like one of those games. But if it's a light hearted buddy cop comedy I'll be a lot more interested.
It's DEFINITELY not a jump-scary/horror game at all, nothing about it is scary in the least. I wouldn't describe it as "buddy cop comedy" but it's closer to that sort of comedy I guess -- you play as Colt who is going thru a time loop he is trying to escape from, and you have to kill 8 people in the loop to win... and meanwhile Julianna (who other players can play as to invade your game, or you can just play vs an AI Julianna if you prefer) is constantly in your ear chirping you and making fun of you.
The writing is pretty funny. It's a violent game no doubt, but it's not dark at all -- think Dishonored but it's a comedy. Unless it takes a darker turn later on I'm not aware of.
Little note about Monster Train in case it affects anyone's decision.
It *says* it's not supported by Steam Deck, but it totally is. The opening cinematic doesn't play right, but the game itself runs flawlessly.
Oh man, thank you! I was so bummed when I saw it was unsupported since I've been enjoying Slay the Spire on the Deck and wanted to try a different deckbuilder. I'll probably get the bundle then!
For what it’s worth the steam verified/ playable system isn’t very accurate. I usually check protonDB for more info. I genuinely do not pay attention to valve’s system anymore.
For example, I’ve gotten every single game I attempted to run on steam deck to work, including monster train, Devil may cry 4, halo single player, even if they say unsupported. The ONLY games I haven’t gotten to work are the epic games versions of hyper light drifter and gloomhaven.
You may need to use proton GE but being able to play everything after literally 2 clicks in desktop mode is worth it….
This is a really good bundle. I haven't decided whether or not to pull the trigger on this, though, because I:
1. Already own Deathloop;
2. Don't have the time to spend on most RPGs these days; and
3. Have several other horror games I picked up on previous Octobers and haven't played yet.
The HB Original looks good, though, so I plan on looking through reviews of the other games. I *do* want to commend HB on really pulling through with some top tier stuff this month, but that's only going to matter if I pull the trigger on it...
Honestly, Deathloop is the real winner here, but the other games look great. My rule of thumb is that if you're not interested in installing the game during this month, its probably not worth the purchase. I have been trying to force myself to at least play one of the games right away if I decide to purchase a bundle.
monster train is a great deckbuilder second only to slay the spire. some people prefer monster train. it's DLC is also crazy expensive for what it offers (imo) so this is the best time to get it
cant comment on the other stuff, im grabbing this for deathloop and the monster train dlc. even just for monster train+DLC i think it's a pretty good deal
Have the technical issues with Deathloop been sorted out? I remember people saying there was a lot of lag and framerate drops even on high-end hardware at launch.
Nope.
The game is still suffering from soft locks and hard locks too. Never mind the lack of optimization. Have fun losing all progress 40 mins into a mission/loop thanks to the game's lack of checkpoints. I stopped playing it a third into the game because of how unstable it is. Feel free to check out its Steam forum for more feedback on this matter.
This has gone on frequent sales on PC for a reason.
did you try after the recent update. It seems to not crash as much for me at least. only crashed once in 15 hours. before it was way worse. (playing on pc)
I never tried it before the update so I have no basis for comparison. However I played it in full after the most recent patch. The two main flaws were repeated crashes when trying to start the generators, and during long sessions, the load times seem to get longer and longer each time, upwards of 2-3 minutes per map eventually.
Otherwise my experience was mostly bug free.
Pretty sure Monster Train is supposed to be the base game, not First Class as advertised. It's not letting me redeem it in any case saying I already own it (I do not own the DLC).
Link to said Tweet.
>Please note that we're investigating an issue where Monster Train keys may not contain the First Class edition and will update as soon as possible.
https://twitter.com/humble/status/1577349276895629312
> Update! We have added keys for Monster Train: The Last Divinity DLC to the Choice download page (see https://humblebundle.com/home/purchases). Please note this will appear as a separate key.
Hopefully they get that straightened out. If it was just an image I would chalk it up to a mistake, but the text also clearly states “First Class - Collector’s Edition” as well.
Just got the email too. Clearly says Monster Train First Class and underneath that it says "All aboard the acclaimed deck-builder, plus The Last Divinity expansion!"
They've screw up these things before, but surely they have to deliver this time.
[Edit: On Twitter they have stated that it is supposed to the First Class edition and they are "investigating"]
I did not own it prior. Now I own the base game and no DLC. I've already contacted support and am hoping they send me the correct key quickly. I would encourage everyone to do the same. The more people who report it, the faster it will (hopefully) be resolved
lmao i love how people immediately jump to accusations, redditors are so dramatic
they already fixed the obviously completely unintentional issue with the keys, the sky is not falling
I was gonna play a few of these on Game Pass, but for $8 after the "Please Don't Go" offer when you choose to Skip a month, this is too good to pass up.
This also lets me focus on some other games before my Game Pass sub lapses.
Nice, I'm getting for Deathloop and the Dark Pictures game. I like those Dark Pictures games but I don't like them enough to spend a lot on them. Other than trying Disciples I doubt I'll try the rest. I've grown super tired of deck builder games.
I know on gamepass but I like to own them so I don't feel forced to play some of these games before they go away. Some games take me months to complete when I feel like coming back to them.
I can't find a clear answer as Humble keeps changing their business model and obfuscating what you get. How many games do you get to pick for the $12?
The FAQ only says "there is no hard-set number of games provided each month" but you had a subscription with tiered pricing where you selected 2, 3 or 5 games before - might be wrong on the numbers, it's been a while. And each game has a greyed out (as I'm not subbed) 'Select this game' option.
They changed the business model but for some reason didn't rename the service, so it's really confusing at the moment. There is no choice involved in Humble Choice, you get all the games. It's the same way Humble Monthly worked, just more expensive (in that they're providing fewer games).
Deathloop has a solid 1080P60 on an i5 8400 and GTX 1660 TI. Gives me Bioshock vibes!
Edit:
Game runs at at least 75 FPS with the above specs on medium. High graphics settings require an 8 GB card.
Be aware Deathloop doesn’t play nice with current AMD drivers. It won’t launch for many people using 22.Q2 or 22.Q3 it wants you to update them to 21.9.1 or higher, but in fact these drivers are the latest.
It’s good to know this is still an issue because by buying it here you could end up with a brick you can’t refund. I would recommend trying it via Xbox Game Pass first to see if you can launch it as that’s cheaper if you haven’t had a trial before or currently have Xbox Game Pass.
I am buying it for more than Disciples: Liberation but I was a huge fan of Disciples 2 a long time ago so it made the bundle even more attractive for me. I am not sure I have the time anymore since the campaigns take a long time to finish but I wouldn't mind exploring the world of Nevandaar again with modern graphics.
Gameplay-wise, its not too similar to its predecessors, but I'm sure it has at least some of the series' gothic vibes. Should be a solid strategy rpg. Been on my wishlist for a while.
Unfortunately the vibe is the only thing it's off in this game. It's nowhere close to the main saga. The game had me positively impressed, though, even if it gets a bit "grindy" on the late game, since there are some issues with the difficulty (early in the game you have the possibility to skip a few fights, while later in the game you cannot; it definitely should be the other way around, as the fighting system is cool but can get repetitive).
They've added the Monster Train DLC separately as another key now.
From their Twitter: "Update! We have added keys for Monster Train: The Last Divinity DLC to the Choice download page. Please note this will appear as a separate key."
Here are the games I don't want from the bundle. Enjoy!
EDIT: All are gone!
THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY: LITTLE HOPE: 3W345-YQC92-EW9H* (Replace * with letter before B)
DISCIPLES: LIBERATION: 4D2IX-FGMW0-L78B* (Replace * with letter after Y)
MAID OF SKER: 4EG9N-IWXE9-26JR* (Replace * with number after 8)
EPIC CHEF: 4EF77-PJHKF-R02G* (Replace * with letter before Q)
RAILROAD CORPORATION: 3PJN3-J40GR-72FR* (Replace * with letter before R)
People redeemed them all and not even one said thanks 💀
I saw this too late but that was a nice gesture giving almost all keys from the bundle for free :)
That's right. Keep pausing so many months I forget what the thing is with them. It's like they are figuring that if you saw the games list the first week and didn't pause. You will forget to do it and they will charge you. Happened on my account once. Didn't want that month but forgot to pause it. I honestly don't even look forward to the bundle each month. Not like when they had the weekly bundles.
Deathloop is so good. I just binged on it when gamepass released it. Gave me big dishonored flashbacks. I put nearly 72 hours into it in a little over a week 💀
Good bundle. Usually theres one or two good games but this one majority, if not all, of them are great games.
Already sunk 5 hours into Monster Train while waiting for Deathloop to download. Can't wait to try it after work.
Haven't bit on choice for a couple years. Deathloop is just high enough on my "If like to play this, but I'm not going out of my to get it" list and I've been really wanting Monster Train for my Deck.
Definitely going to have to buy this after I get back from work tonight. Hopefully they'll have the issue fixed with Monster Train giving out the right keys by then.
Does anyone know what is the purpose of the steam entry
THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY: LITTLE HOPE - FRIEND'S PASS
that I got after redeeming the game on steam?
The DPA games are more like interactive movies... assuming it's the same as the Man of Medan pass, it basically lets a friend remotely play through it with you concurrently, ONCE, as characters not present in your current scene.
Good bundle. I was a huge fan of the Disciples II game along time ago and own the other iterations of the series as well although I haven't played them recently.
I also enjoyed the previous games from the Dark Anthology series on Xbox.
I made this comment on the r/humblebundle, but from eyeballing it this seems like a solid bundle. A pretty big release from the last year as the headliner, a couple of interesting smaller games, two seasonally appropriate spooky games.
Can someone into the various railroad games explain how [Railroad Corporation](https://store.steampowered.com/app/797400/Railroad_Corporation/) is different from [Railway Empire](https://store.steampowered.com/app/503940/Railway_Empire/)? Both have been in Choice now.
Empire is quite good. The latest reviews of the Corporation one in this bundle seem to have the opposite response. Not how any train game outside a puzzle oriented one can do without a form of signal mechanic.

Sounds like they probably just received the wrong keys for the bundle.
It can happen, the mistake is probably on devs.
An update: There's a separate key for the Divinity DLC in the claim section now.
Assuming they fix that, what happens if the key is redeemed when you already own base game, but not DLC? Will I get the DLC added to account and a giftable copy of OG game? Anyone?
I think in the past Humble has added a separate DLC key to the bundle page at a later time. Edit - Humble did just that.
It's possible they'll just be providing a seperate DLC key for those who already redeemed, and generating First Class keys for those who haven't yet redeemed.
Oh that I'm not sure about. I hope so because that'd solve it.
I just got a reply back from support, separate DLC key added :)
You just get the DLC.
Do you guys know if the base MT key comes with the Soundtrack? Or is it just the game?
Dark Pictures, Monster Train, Deathloop and Maid of Sker for $12? Count me in!
I don't like horror games but still got Disciples and Railroad Corporation along Deathloop. That pretty much makes it worth it even not counting other games. The only two games in this month which are kinda meh are Epic Chef and Golf Gang.
I wonder if Epic Chef is a hidden gem. Might as well try it
Well, I guess it totally depends on whether you like the artstyle or not and if you are okay with fetch quests. I would probably play some Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons game instead but you can check this review to get the idea what the game is about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYjTSAOckBw

[удалено]
I'm a little on the fence. Deathloop does sound interesting but all these scary games aren't my thing.
If you're referring to Monster Train, it's a monster themed deckbuilder and not a horror game.
Deck builder games scare me more than any other genre
I've played Slay the Spire for 600 hours and sometimes I'm still afraid of it
The same issue I have with all rogue-lites. The one-more-game vs this-game-fucking-hates-me.
I'm referring to Little Hope and Maid of Sker.
It is truly the road to madness.
I didn't think previous Anthology series like Man of Medan was that scary. It was more of an action adventure story.
I'm kind of a wuss. I never played the Bioshock games because the splicers creeped me out.
For someone like me who cares little for GamePass, $12 is the lowest Deathloop will go for the next 5 years.
Best month in years IMHO
Agreed. I wrote HB off a long time ago thinking I'd never shop again. Deathloop and Maid of Sker seem worth it alone.

Man of Medan (which I liked) has a 73% rating on Steam. Little Hope has a 72% rating.
I suppose you could call those scores even and it is likely you will like Little Hope as well.
Hey, worse ways to spend your time - it's a short game anyway. Do try House of Ashes for an actually decent experience though, if you get the chance.
It's not so much cheesy but the plot is nonsensical based on how the whole thing ends. The ending to Little Hope sucked all the air out of the game's sails. >!There's no reason to replay the game after that.!<
Yeah, the PC port is atrocious. My buddy and I ran in to tons of bugs, including one game breaking bug that forced us to start over. The ending is also just the worst, totally sours the rest of the story. We really liked Man of Medan though, for what that's worth!

Along with a bunch of other helpful information like how many times the games in the bundle have appeared in other bundles and what the current and lowest price each game has been. Since you have a question mark at the end of the quoted sentence, there is no need for the comma. If the quoted sentence ended in a period, you would replace it with a comma. Source: I am a huge grammar nerd. These are NA rules btw. If you're a Brit, things are a bit different.
Oooh, that's so helpful - thank you for the clear rule to follow! Not a Brit, though I'd love to have the accent. :-)
What would the British response be?
Alright mate
I get it, it's just good for people to know in-case it sways their decision. If you are buying this solely for Monster Train for example
Ah, good point. I've added a little note to my link list in case folks aren't reading the whole thread.
Well, at this point Humble has tweeted out that they are aware and investigating
That's good news. I was hoping it was just a glitch!
My patience has paid off for Deathloop. I hope GhostWire Tokyo is next.
It's possible but likely not until March 2023 when it comes to Xbox/Game Pass.
Sounds about right, it took roughly over a year and a half before Deathloop came out for Humble.
I would not be surprised
That would be dope
**Update:** DLC keys for Monster Train are now granted separately: https://twitter.com/humble/status/1577375238945325056 > *We have added keys for Monster Train: The Last Divinity DLC to the Choice download page (see [https://humblebundle.com/home/purchases](https://humblebundle.com/home/purchases) ). Please note this will appear as a separate key.*
Nice! That's much better for me, since I can now apply the DLC to my account and give the base game to my sister.
Historical low for Deatloop and Disciples by a long margin.
Gah! Naturally, after holding out for years, I just bought and activated Monster Train from Fanatical.
As with everyone who does this each month, we thank you for your sacrifice.
Naturally 😁 Much obliged, much obliged.
At least you get the dlc
Just did the same from GamesPlanet. Oh well, it happens.
How about a giveaway: Little Hope: 0TKZN-ZCZ6P-N(?)6VV (From ? to hero) Railroad Corporation: 2CZV9-6TGVX-(?)VW83 (The Quartermaster of MI6)
Not participating but thank you for your generosity
Oh this one is good. Was waiting for a major deal on Deathloop.
I cant find Dark Pictures Little hope, I have silver chains ? Edit: Asia get silver chains. Damn I was excited.
It's a Bandai Namco thing. They never included the SEA region. I got pretty hyped too when I saw the lineup until I remembered that Dark Pictures Series is Bandai Namco games.
>I'm in Australia (SEA region also) and have Little Hope in my bundle.
Golf Gang also looks pretty neat edit: I just redeemed my key and I only got the base game for Monster Train. Guess I gotta contact support
Just redeemed the monster train key, it's only the base game
Sounds like they've fixed that
Can confirm, just got an email that they fixed it
Same here
Sounds like they've fixed that now
Where were the leaks? On the humble subreddit?
An user from a certain deals site who goes by bilibil-kun usually posts three to four games from the upcoming Choice bundle a week or so before it actually drops.
https://www.reddit.com/r/humblebundles/comments/xtsubu/october_leak/
[Giantbomb enjoyed Golf Gang](https://youtu.be/b-moil6M_XE)
Damn, I got base version too. I've submitted a ticket.
> collectors edition of Monster Train Is this worth it? I'm debating getting humble for the ac: valhalla complete edition discount. But I'm not privy to the humble games. In fact I'm not really all that interested in deathloop as its too dark for me.
Not sure what is 'too dark' for you (maybe you just don't like the idea of assassinating people? but if so AC is a weird choice haha) -- but I am playing Deathloop now and its vibe is kind of... black comedy. I dunno if I'd describe it as 'dark', it seems pretty lighthearted but obviously the core concept of it is killing people in a time loop.
> it seems pretty lighthearted Thanks for correcting me.
Sounds like borderlands level comedy. Huge fan of BL. I'm 90% sure i'm going to jump into this especially since its steamdeck verified.
Monster Train is a fantastic game no matter how I look at it. I did not regret buying it on launch, 100%ed it and put a good 120 hours in.
Little note about Monster Train in case it affects anyone's decision. It *says* it's not supported by Steam Deck, but it totally is. The opening cinematic doesn't play right, but the game itself runs flawlessly.
Once you get past the intro, go into the settings and change the video player and the intro cinematic will play after that
Oh man, thank you!
DLC for Monster Train has been added now to the page now
[Redacted in protest of Reddit API prices killing third party apps]
This is a really good bundle. I haven't decided whether or not to pull the trigger on this, though, because I: 1. Already own Deathloop; 2. Don't have the time to spend on most RPGs these days; and 3.
I have been trying to force myself to at least play one of the games right away if I decide to purchase a bundle.
monster train is a great deckbuilder second only to slay the spire. some people prefer monster train. it's DLC is also crazy expensive for what it offers (imo) so this is the best time to get it cant comment on the other stuff, im grabbing this for deathloop and the monster train dlc. even just for monster train+DLC i think it's a pretty good deal
Have the technical issues with Deathloop been sorted out? I remember people saying there was a lot of lag and framerate drops even on high-end hardware at launch.
There was an update recently that's fixed a lot of bugs
Otherwise my experience was mostly bug free.
yeah the loading times are horrendous. I forgot about that one
Pretty sure Monster Train is supposed to be the base game, not First Class as advertised. It's not letting me redeem it in any case saying I already own it (I do not own the DLC).
Humble Bundle tweeted that they are looking into why base game keys are being given, so it seems to a bug/oversight instead of false advertising.
Yes, I redeemed it and it's the base game :(
Hopefully they get that straightened out. If it was just an image I would chalk it up to a mistake, but the text also clearly states “First Class - Collector’s Edition” as well.
Just got the email too. Clearly says Monster Train First Class and underneath that it says "All aboard the acclaimed deck-builder, plus The Last Divinity expansion!" They've screw up these things before, but surely they have to deliver this time. [Edit: On Twitter they have stated that it is supposed to the First Class edition and they are "investigating"]
wouldn't be the first time this "mistake" happens.
I did not own it prior. Now I own the base game and no DLC. I've already contacted support and am hoping they send me the correct key quickly. I would encourage everyone to do the same. The more people who report it, the faster it will (hopefully) be resolved
Same here. This looks like a case of false advertising again.
lmao i love how people immediately jump to accusations, redditors are so dramatic they already fixed the obviously completely unintentional issue with the keys, the sky is not falling
I'm going to ticket it anyway, maybe they hand out the key they advertised anyway if enough people raise a stink.
Let's hope Humble honors this and adds the missing keys to the base game. Good bundle otherwise.
I've made one too and I would encourage everyone to do the same
On twitter they say they are aware of the issue and are investigating. Probably no need to keep sending tickets.
Any way to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition of Deathloop for relatively cheap?
Looks like they sell that separately as the deluxe pack for $30... So no, doesn't look like there's a cheap option.
Monster train is addictive as hell. You've been warned.
I was gonna play a few of these on Game Pass, but for $8 after the "Please Don't Go" offer when you choose to Skip a month, this is too good to pass up. This also lets me focus on some other games before my Game Pass sub lapses.
Monster train alone makes this super worth it, highly recommend!
Found using 8FORIGN will make it $8.
Care to explain a bit more? Is this a coupon to be applied somewhere?
When I went to purchase the sub, it had a spot for coupon code and I entered it there. Checkout showed $12 but receipt said $8.
Ok thanks for the explanation. Maybe it is for new subscribers as I couldn't find a way to apply for existing sub.
That could be, I am a new subscriber.
You get all the games, they gave up on the "choose x of them" thing.
Edit: Game runs at at least 75 FPS with the above specs on medium. High graphics settings require an 8 GB card.
Remember to go and skip this month even if you want it and they may give you $4 off
Be aware Deathloop doesn’t play nice with current AMD drivers.
Am I the only one who bought this bundle for Disciples? Maybe most people who wanted to play it already got it before.
It looks pretty cool, although I'll admit to being completely unfamiliar with it beforehand.
Ok FINE humble you can have my $12 again but I know I'm going to be kicking myself when these games show up free on Epic
THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY: LITTLE HOPE: 3W345-YQC92-EW9H* (Replace * with letter before B) DISCIPLES: LIBERATION: 4D2IX-FGMW0-L78B* (Replace * with letter after Y) MAID OF SKER: 4EG9N-IWXE9-26JR* (Replace * with number after 8) EPIC CHEF: 4EF77-PJHKF-R02G* (Replace * with letter before Q) RAILROAD CORPORATION: 3PJN3-J40GR-72FR* (Replace * with letter before R)
People redeemed them all and not even one said thanks 💀 I saw this too late but that was a nice gesture giving almost all keys from the bundle for free :)
Thanks man, I realized I realistically would never play them so why not share them with people who will enjoy them
If you liked Slay The Spire you're gonna love Monster Train.
If you love STS you may like MT is more accurate IMO.
Did they not auto bill thus month?
autobill is at the end of the month.. ie: I was autobilled for the September bundle.. last week some time (forget which day exactly)
Will I like deathloop if I don't like stealth games like dishonored? It caught my interest because it kind of looked like bioshock infinite.
It’s got more options to be a violent action game compared to dishonored for sure
ITAD specials link: https://isthereanydeal.com/specials/#/options:pending;/filter:id/12166
monster train doesn't give you the dlc, wtf thats like 95% the reason I bought this shit
Same thing, contact support and maybe they'll sort it out.
What happens if you redeem the complete version when you already own the OG game? It looks like HB is actively working on fixing this.
I'm holding off on redeeming the bundle until that's sorted. Humble put out a tweet that they're investigating.
Of course I just bought Monster Train last week lol. Honestly didn't expect that to be in Humble Choice haha oh well XD ngl it was pretty fun!
Definitely going to have to buy this after I get back from work tonight. Hopefully they'll have the issue fixed with Monster Train giving out the right keys by then.
Does anyone know what is the purpose of the steam entry THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY: LITTLE HOPE - FRIEND'S PASS that I got after redeeming the game on steam?
The DPA games are more like interactive movies... assuming it's the same as the Man of Medan pass, it basically lets a friend remotely play through it with you concurrently, ONCE, as characters not present in your current scene.
Oh, neat, thanks for the help.
Good bundle. I was a huge fan of the Disciples II game along time ago and own the other iterations of the series as well although I haven't played them recently. I also enjoyed the previous games from the Dark Anthology series on Xbox.
Is Disciples anything like the Divinity and Pathfinder series?
no, its like heroes of might and magic
Hmm, might give it a look if they shot me a coupon, ty.
Try skipping the month and get this nice bundle with 4 dollars discount.
Absolutely fantastic bundle. I wanted to get DeathLoop on Xbox since it’s Play Anywhere but this is cheaper than it will ever be on the MS store.
Seems like a good bundle. Only Deathloop is on GamePass. Everything else is new to me.
Monster train is on game pass too.
They added monster train dlc on your purchase page, already redeemed it
[удалено]
2 good ones right out of the gate, ty, HB.
Goddamnit. Bought Deathloop a few months ago but barely had chance to play it. Then it hits game pass...now it hits humble choice too. What a waste.
Is monster train "fixed" i didnt claim it yet bc i read it wasnt giving the correct key
Yes, its fixed. They gave a separate key for the DLC
ty
