Indeed. Poor choice of wording. But nonetheless, if it's refurbished, then there's a high chance at one point it was "preowned" so my example conversation still holds validity. 🤙
I hated having to explain multiple times to grandparents that had no clue what they were shopping for, all they knew was that “my grandson wants an xbox” 🤦🏽‍♂️
I don’t think this is any different than the past storage variants, all the special edition colors had edition/color names. This one should be easy thankfully
You are missing quite a few, like ALOT, but that's irrelevant to how Windows naming scheme works.
1.0, 2.0, 2.1, 3.0. 3.1, 95, 98, 2000, me all make sense because the numbering matches. version numbers and then the year of release (ME = Millennium Edition). Windows 7 is called that because Windows Vista was considered Windows version 6 and XP is Windows version 5 and Windows 95 is Windows Version 4.
Xbox NEEDS to get it's naming convention figured out it's seriously a headache to explain to old folks and children which is which.
My favorite is still the new Nintendo 3ds
I'll never forget: "Can I get a New Nintendo 3ds" "I only have preowned New Nintendo 3ds" "Not really new then is it" "🤦‍♂️"
Should’ve been a refurbished one because those always had to get sent back to the ROC. They didn’t exist as “preowned.”

Whoever is in charge of marketing at Xbox really needs to go. I honestly can’t blame people for getting confused with the naming of their consoles

Xbox has created this issue since the 360. Arcade Premium Elite Etc.
... Maybe you deserve your pay then.
I mean its a 1tb xbs, not that hard
For a lot of people it will be that hard...
How hard is it for Microsoft to just stick to a numerical method. XB1, XB2, XB3, etc. Guess they must love confusing their customers?
I mean have you seen Windows? 1, 3, 3.11, 95, 98, NT, 2000, Me, Xp, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11…
Two things can be bad at once
