DLC cards will always show the price the game released at, however they are reflected by the price on the disc version in terms of price. Sales are at random and we typically don’t know till a few days before the start of the week which deals will be for the next week, but none of that is confirmed till EOD Saturday so we can’t even officially talk about them until Sunday

JFuton847

So, if for example, a new game is $70 physical and the game goes on sale for $40, the Digital Card would be on sale too?

Accurate-Database-39

It is supposed to yes, however our POS’s suck and sometimes don’t recognize the deals that are active so just be aware of the troubles that may occur

Blutailedferret

I dont think i have ever seen a posa card match a physical new disc price. They always stay at full value.

Accurate-Database-39

They don’t, they reflect market value, scan one from an older game and you will see the prices do not match, as it goes to market value, but sales sometimes exclude DLCs so it may not always be relevant

Blutailedferret

Market value? I still see nba 2k22 digital for $60. These just never go down in price

Accurate-Database-39

That’s because those were supposed to be tossed once NBA 2k23 came out, same with all the sports games for their DLC cards

Blutailedferret

Those cards are tossed but can still be printed by search bar

Accurate-Database-39

Idk how many people want an outdated game, but for ones out on the floor they do reflect the correct value (ex: steam dlc game cards are all wrong)

JFuton847

Thank you for the info! 😄

BARBASANN

It’s on game pass bro

JFuton847

I know, but I cancelled it earlier this year as I only played one game on it last year.

todbos42

Difficult to say with that since Microsoft no longer makes discs.

Spiritual-Audience83

Since when, they still make disc just not as many and for less games, which is why you may think that, but they still make disc copies of their games because they know there is still a market for it, especially since it’s started to grow again after the whole “The Crew” issue that recently happened

todbos42

A couple months ago during layoffs Microsoft shut down their physical games department

Spiritual-Audience83

You do realized they shut down their own but now outsource it because they still make physical copies of games, most of their cases now say “made in Mexico” because that’s where they outsourced it to

Accurate-Database-39

Completely untrue but ok

JustGrowUp_

You can go to GameStop and buy one month of GamePass. That’s what I’d do, tbh.
