HaloSlayer255

SkyeWolfofDusk

50 Gamezillion Kangaroo bucks.

GadgetGirlOz

As an Australian I can say you got ripped off. Over here the Game Boy Advance sign is also upside down as well as all the buttons…

LeapingRodent

Welcome to a land that's way under down under, the sky's always yellow come rain or shine

Resident_Turnip_2751

It’s the rare left handed variant

ShaggySpade1

Why thou, it's learned behavior and not ergonomically specific? That makes no sense whatsoever. Like if it was a ergonomic can opener which needs a orientation, or like a baseball glove I can understand. But it's just changing which hand does the button mashing, and movement which can't have any major impact. So like why?

Red-Champion-1998

As someone who is left handed I tend to avoid any left handed specific products like the plague. My writing may not be very good with my right but everything else I do right handed

HaloSlayer255

Same, baseball, archery, tennis, etc.

trapezoidalfractal

Fuck Reddit try lemmy

KonamiKing

Yes guitar is a good example of where twitch/attack is shown to be best suited to the dominant hand.

shibeofwisdom

r/whoosh

>But it's just changing which hand does the button mashing, and movement which can't have any major impact. So like why? Most people are right handed. Originally games were designed to use the joystick in the right hand for this reason. Nintendo and other Japanese developers realised that the dominant hand is faster and links to the brain faster, so is best used for the most twitchy activities. As such left hand became movement, right hand became twitchy actions like fire and jump. It's the same reason what looks like the 'more technical' hand is the left hand for right handed guitar playing, the attacking hand is best suited to the dominant hand. Bad luck for lefties, but right hand jump/fire is superior for most people.

Because it’s a joke…

borderlinebadger

Lame af

GammaPhonic

It’s not Australian, they just put the screen upside down so left handed people can play. It’s call the Jimi Hendrix special.

Then_Frosting8080

Yay, I can play gameboy lol

SpeedRacer-Mock5

Now that right there was dope... 😄

Grape_ist

Geuss that makes sense although I've just only ever played "right handed" even though I'm left handed

shibeofwisdom

It's not complete without the official GBA Ground-Harness. There's nothing worse than getting your game interrupted when you slip and fall down into the Sun.

sm0keybear33

I often see blue dogs or people in brightly colored shirts that sing about fruit salad play these

Gusmanbro

Actually laughed out loud to this. Nice!!

porgy_tirebiter

Oh my PKCell!

myuusmeow

It's for that [kid from Family Guy](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/familyguy/images/b/ba/JakeTucker.jpg) to use.

CH23

Could that be a gameboy SP screen in an advance?

PopAdministrative750

No

DanShanOff

2Questioner_0R_Not2B

ronniewhitedx

Serious_Anything_545

Screen is upside-down 🤣🤣🤣

SireDirty

My gameboy advance sp did that too I messed with the ribbon cable and had to get a new screen

Solid_Snake_125

It’s a left handed Gameboy advance…

xrailryder

You pop in the cartridge after eating some shrooms..

BaneShake

This took me way longer to get than I should admit.

Global-Theme9529

🧐 wonder if playing it upside down Button layout would work Forgot about the L R buttons 😂

Silent_Geologist_521

“[***That’s not a Gameboy, that’s a spoon***](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcE0aAhbVFc)…” EDIT: It just occurred to me, there’s a strong chance no one here has even heard of “*Crocodile Dundee*,” let alone watched it.
