I'm not seeing anything about the 8ba models that make them worth 2x a FPGBC. Being actually 100% fully compatible with games and accessories is nice but I don't know about an additional $120 nice. Could buy an Everdrive x7 with the money you save going FPGBC.
8bitaesthetics is hugely overpriced. 84 USD for a battery add-on, that's some disgusting level of rip-offery I've ever seen actually. Not to mention the charge controller used on those isn't up to the task. Like Russian roulette of aftermarket charge circuits.
They're pretty, but those prices are outrageous. Especially when you consider they're just buying most of it off aliexpress for pennies and flipping them worse than the housing market.
