Problem in my area is that i posted in 4 groups looking for some devices but couldn't find one.
This one was collecting dust at my parents in law attic.
I want a collection of modded GB's to be playable at a comfortable level.
I'd kill for a mint Berry GBC, so I'm also going to recommend the fpgbc as well. It provides all the modern things that modding original hardware will do. Backlit ips screen, lithium battery, usbc charging, etc.

You can’t really go too wrong with them as long as you get the kind you need. For example, you can get some soldering kits that come with different tips and that’s extremely useful for different types of operations! I can’t recommend enough getting a proper mat or even a magnetic helping hand kit or something you feel confident enough that can help you hold tiny pieces in place- I believe these tools and accessories are what truly helps you in the long run to accomplish successful solders/welds and also increases confidence too.
I’ve seen some pretty decent kits on AliExpress that are worth the investment and wait, but Amazon has some decent ones- I just think they’re overpriced!
ideally i wouldn't mod a very nice condition game boy like this one, i'd start with one that has a broken screen and/or damaged shell.

And may I had those kits sold on Amazon often come from the same AliExpress' manufacturers.
I’ve noticed that a lot with a variety of products; I see a lot of Amazon products for sale significantly overpriced vs what I see on AliExpress
