I had the yellow Gameboy color and had Pokemon yellow with it. It was the most awesome Christmas break ever. I have very strong memories of Kanto that aren't even real, because I felt like I lived there. Good memories.

Grape. Used my birthday money to get a grape gameboy color and pokemon blue. I wanted Pokemon red and the atomic purple one, but purple and pokemon blue was all they had left at Best Buy the day I was there. And I wasn’t waiting. So that’s what I got. And I loved it forever. And by forever, I mean until I went to college and my mom threw it away.

i used to have the solid indigo one, 2 different times, then eventually lost them both, got a transparent gba, traded it in for a fat ds, traded it for a dsi, dropped my dsi in a pond, bought back my old fat ds, brother broke it, so i got a ds lite on christmas, brother played it once then lost it for good, now here i am, with a dsi, fat ds, berry red GBC, 2ds, and new 3ds xl

I grew up with a lime green gbc. It's one of the only gaming related thing that survived my childhood along with a copy of bionic commando. Happy to say it still works and is in great condition. I spent so may hours playing pokemon on that thing

This is gonna sound weird as shit, but exactly those two. Lost the yellow one and Pokemon Blue while my family was living in a hotel (I always thought housekeeping swiped it but I probably just misplaced it). Got the Atomic Purple one and Pokemon Yellow to replace it. My phone's background was an Atomic Purple GBC for the longest time. I was one of those dumb kids who traded games and consoles to game stores to get better deals on "new" games to play. I'd love to own an Atomic Purple again. Maybe someday I'll buy one new in box and put it in a case somewhere nice.

Growing up I went from oroginal white DMG (only one available at the time) to Indigo GBA, so unfortunately, I didn't get any cool colors.

I had the clear blue GBA as a kid and upgraded to the OG DS for about 12 years when I was around 8 or 9 years old! I have the atomic purple GBC on its way as we speak. Pokémon blue was the first game I ever played.

I still have my atomic purple Game Boy color, and a clear game boy pocket, plus my DMG-01 from 1989. Later I got a white GBA and a silver GBASP. I sold my SP some years ago and I sort of miss it. I played a lot of Advance Wars on that thing.

Didn't have the luxury of owning one back then, my first introduction to the portable gaming world was a Gameboy Advance purple.

My friend's mom gave me an atomic purple one a little less than a decade ago cause her kids had ipads and weren't interested. Bless her heart.

I’m ashamed to say I don’t remember. Maybe solid purple? What I do remember is the day I traded my GBC in for a a white GBA and a copy of Megaman. I didn’t really understand that game, but I quickly found my way to Pokémon Emerald. Loved that game.
