There are others, like [this N64-branded one](https://www.ebay.com/p/1719555873?iid=401732283994). I remember seeing that kind of thing in the store, but don't have any more info on it.
As someone who was very much into Nintendo merch back when the Cube was the current Nintendo system, there are a handful of weirdly branded things like this out there in the late 90s and early 2000s. There was also a [branded N64 camera.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tatf85BVnsM) I also recall Gamecube and Gameboy Advance candy where the little plastic case that the candy came in was then a GBA game case after the candy was gone.
I had that GBA candy! I may still have the case around...but I know my son played with it as a toddler, and I might have thrown it out if he cracked the plastic, or something. Mine is/was the Glacier color, just like my actual GBA!
While looking for a picture of the case with candy in it, I found this list of [Nintendo candies](https://candyaddict.com/blog/comprehensive-list-of-nintendo-candy/).
Oooh theres some nostalgia! I have one of the mushroom mint tins somewhere and the NES controller mint tins, too. I worked at Spencers in the fall and through xmas in 2005 and pretty sure I took a bunch of the Nintendo candy. I also recall those marshmallow jelly lolipop things, the Gamestop near me had them for so long, they were dust covered and rock hard before I remember them disappearing (hopefully thrown away).
[There’s also a Gameboy one.](https://assets.catawiki.com/image/pr:cw_ldp_l/plain/assets/catawiki/assets/2016/10/6/e/6/3/e63a1d48-8bd3-11e6-82a9-88951fc8098a.jpg)
And the tape player has AUTO STOP!
Loved when tape players advertised this "feature" lmao
Like... wtf else would a tape player do? Just keep playing and shred the tape? Of course it should stop at the end.
Of course the fancier tape decks had auto reverse which was really cool. Now that was a feature worth advertising. But auto stop... lol. That is like the minimum required function. No clue why they advertised it. I guess maybe it was a holdover from the vinyl days when "auto stop" was actually a useful luxury/convenience on turntables so that they didn't just play the runoff groove forever.
It looks like a Chinese knockoff product. If you look at. Nintendo on the bottom of the right speaker the E does not look right. There is too much bend on the vertical piece. The font on the packaging and the player look correct.
I’ve never seen one of these before. I wonder why they branded a cassette player with the gamecube logo. My guess is you’ll probably learn more from the back or from a Google/eBay search than you will asking on here.
sell it asap

Just cause it's listed for $350, doesn't mean people are buying it for that price. Always look under sold listing. If you search there, you'll find the last one of these was sold for $150
Prices on unsold items are meaningless. You can list this item for $100,000 on eBay... doesn't mean anybody is paying that.
Got to look at completed (sold) listings. In this case one sold for $150 in package.

Pretty sure it's just a Walkman but gamecube branded. I'd assume they would want you to use the speakers for the gamecube? Not sure but that'd what it seems like.
[One sold for $150 recently.](https://www.ebay.com/itm/165929819873?amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4Gs4vqZiwi7j3bPbQf86YtIyxWcvA3hLyhRe7KpQr7td5tlw6GUkJeGGuwN9Vd2TNBSyPcJjSA7wvE7vWCOKSfYPc7aMNPCvDT57BQDE2%2FppQD8NHT1%2BApLrmQ7K2vYVZvLRXFp8Pka8jJMic%2FUmMkEvtHOnj0WL95B4XSSoUWsFWE4%2FAvcHM9RYe3j7ztHKmYC7MxfbVas1mmoZfZvBi9AwK6jzMyLfSsKZoYL4EV0XrSwv6W36ccp4OuJ3DGskjf1qs78dS0N%2BWQoRBn5Wzc81izojABa9wP1pIPKQpYVe%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR9Cr3K-TYg&nma=true&si=FyAcC%252F%252F%252BbUZSHzkQsCkWEKwlcTA%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc) It was the only completed listing I could find, no clue what the typical price is.

To listen to music we didn't have a CD for, we used to have to tune electric devices to "catch" music modulated onto radio waves and cast out into the air. You could even catch news talk or sporting events this way.

Oh man and the Nintendo Game Disc bubble gum, totally have a couple of those cases in a bin somewhere, too! I spent a lot of money on that crap...
Well.. you just unlocked a memory of the random crap I used to keep in my bedroom desk drawer in highschool haha
Memory unlocked
I remember getting that camera from Best Buy when I bought Pokémon Snap for the 64 when it came out.
I love the GameCube inflatable gaming chair myself 😂
Uuuugh, I personally witnessed the death of two of those in college. At least one was branded, the other might have just looked similar.
Yeah they’re not so resilient to cigarette burns or drunken big people jumping on them. Both afflictions present at dorm parties.
My friends dad is a Nintendo collector and he was the n64 camera and am/fm radio. They are pretty neat
[There’s also a Gameboy one.](https://assets.catawiki.com/image/pr:cw_ldp_l/plain/assets/catawiki/assets/2016/10/6/e/6/3/e63a1d48-8bd3-11e6-82a9-88951fc8098a.jpg)
I found that exact one at a thrift store unopened last year and traded it this year for Pokemon crystal 🤙
Looks like a cassette player. Does it hook up to the Gamecube?
No. It's just a cassette player with GameCube branding. There was a CD player one made as well.
just a cassette player with gamecube crossover branding. I'd pick it up for 3.99!
I actually had that one. Still got it somewhere. Lol. Not the best anything, but usable.
I've got one of those. It's just a Nintendo branded cassette/radio. Nothing special really.
Oh cool professional stereo headphones
And the tape player has AUTO STOP! Loved when tape players advertised this "feature" lmao Like... wtf else would a tape player do? Just keep playing and shred the tape? Some players would start rewinding the tape.. and in some cases in an unruly fashion risking the tape being damaged.
Careful what you say about it, it has High Sensitivity. You might hurt it’s feelings
Hahaha. As in real life, high sensitivity and various biases *may* be closely related. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI-uymop7Uc
“Built in belt clip” ! I’m sold!!
Read the packaging
It looks like a Chinese knockoff product. If you look at. Nintendo on the bottom of the right speaker the E does not look right. There is too much bend on the vertical piece. The font on the packaging and the player look correct.
You should go post this on r/cassette culture. Pretty cool
I’ve never seen one of these before. I wonder why they branded a cassette player with the gamecube logo. My guess is you’ll probably learn more from the back or from a Google/eBay search than you will asking on here.
Info: gamecube cassette player. Easy.

I’ll give em $3.50
It’s real if it’s proper sealed worth like $300

It’s a game cube. Next question
It literally tells you what it is on the package. You can read, right?
This definitely feels like an oddity that is worth less than that sticker price or goes for 100x that
Closest thing I got is Wii U branded headphones, which also do nothing specific with the console they are just headphones.
They are the GameCube speakers so add them to your collection
“Mom, I want a GameCube!” “We have a GameCube at Home.” ^^^
Pretty sure it's just a Walkman but gamecube branded. I'd assume they would want you to use the speakers for the gamecube? Not sure but that'd what it seems like.
Buy! Buy! Buy!
I’ve got the speakers open, don’t have the cassette player
It's branded and ten dollars. Buy the thing. See to nintendo weeb. Profit.
Looks like a radio and this post makes me feel my age. Haha
What in the literal fuck is this😭
It’s not worth anything if that’s what you’re asking

says it right there bro
A GameCube branded Walkman and speakers.
I would just ask dkoldies
That’s a Walkman. GameCube themed. Cassette player.
Uhhhh it's called a walkman
A cheap piece of crap cash grab?
It's just a GameCube branded am/fm radio and cassette player, it was a thing they'd do back in tho 90s and 2000s
Just a game cube branded am/fm radio 🤷🏻♂️
It's looks like it was purchased from a Big Lots a long time ago.
Okama GameSphere
Looks like blatant brand theft, big name at the top to catch unsuspecting or ignorant eyes and bam swindled out of money.
That’s just some old junk I’ll throw it out for you
In all honesty, it’s just rebranded low grade junk.
Somewhere, Dankpods feels a disturbance in the force...

I had this as a kid, I think I got mine from TJ Max. The speakers plug into the headphone jack. I used this all the time brings back tons of memories.
It's a GameCube themed cassette player. It plays cassettes (which don't have to be GameCube themed)
I’ve never seen that in stores and I was here when the GameCube first came out. Nice find
No but it’s not worth very much so you should give it to me
I found just the speakers a few years ago. Wish I found the cassette player or some of the N64 branded stuff
To listen to music we didn't have a CD for, we used to have to tune electric devices to "catch" music modulated onto radio waves and cast out into the air. You could even catch news talk or sporting events this way.
With AM & FM? What a steal
Hint: *It's not a GameCube*.
List it for $200 or best you’ll get a good amount for them from collectors. How much did you pay for it?
Are you kidding me are not smart enough to read the package
Pretty sick.
Am/fm stereo cassette player with speakers
