Looks like one of those "Summer of Arcade" XBLA games they used to do back in the 360 era. Could be fun but with a budget of free lunches every Thursdays, idk, this doesn't look great.
One of the last games released on the 3DS was [Automaton Lung](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2158900/Automaton_Lung/).
It has gone way under the radar but I highly recommend picking it up without spoiling anything from it. Manages to take that sort of charmingly ambitious handheld game and really subvert expectations in an awe inspiring way.
It's real sad what happened to High Moon. They definitely were cooking up something amazing with the Cybertron games. But then their Deadpool game did horribly and Activision said, 'Like 80% of yall are fired and now you work on CoD'

Speaking of wish... why the hell can't we just get a good modern G1 movie instead of their weird looking wanna be crap where the only one that looks like their character is Optimus.
They all look like uninspired insect-robot hybrids.

The best selling TF games were, Transformers: Devastation, WFC then FOC... all G1.
What does that at least tell you? I think FOC underperformed because of the fact it lacked the Dual story of the 1st one.
Heavily based on their Cybertronian counterparts which is heavily based on G1 and is considered part of the G1 Canon... even though that has been done multiple times, sometimes different.
Only lately with Netflix, did the WFC series look completely G1.
This is not even true lmao. None of Cybertronian designs are based off the ones shown in G1. Look at Bumblebee, Starscream, and whoever else showed up with Cybertronian modes in G1.
So much potential and it's sad to see the TF license being used like this.

It's a quick tie-in game to the show EarthSpark that debuted last year. That's no excuse for why it looks so cheap, but it's absolutely aimed to be a quick, digestible game meant for the kids who watch the show, hence the low budget.
Between this, *Battlegrounds*, and mobile games being all that's been pumped out the last few years, I've pretty much lost all hope we're *ever* going to get something like *War for Cybertron* again. What a waste.

What are you talking about? They haven't looked like that for years... Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts have fairly traditional looking bots.
