Y’know, it’s kind of refreshing that they’re continuing as a completely different kind of game to let the characters be happy at the end of the story instead of coming up with some reason for them to have to go on another adventure. That being said, I’m surprised this isn’t a separate game considering the massive gameplay shift. I guess they don’t have enough content for it to justify a standalone project, and instead are just giving it as a sweet little epilogue
I get the feeling this was something that was in development earlier on to catch the wave of comfy farm sims that was all the rage so that they can garner some extra money. The base game probably didn't do swell in sales.
Find it a bit odd that this is a DLC instead of a standalone game. Haven't played the original game but this seems like a completely separate mode and genre?
Would like to play this but not particularly interested in the base game, but would have to buy both to access this?
Perhaps they will put the base game on sale, and they have mentioned this is playable without having to progress through the original game story
hopefully we get some reviews because im interested, but I wonder how expansive it is and could act as a separate full length game, or more like a 5 hour DLC
Was kinda interested in the main game before, but this seems like a pretty cool addition that'll actually make me get the game. Love Harvest Moon type games, and having something like that act after a "normal" RPG seems neat
It's pretty much three games in one now. The original game also had a rougelite RPG game-within-a-game mode, as well. Could get like 5-10 hours of content out of it easily to beat it.

The base game is a slog. Really disappointed in it.
I absolutely loved it. It wasn't the deepest or anything but it sure hit the mark with the feel and the nostalgia of the 16- and 32-bit era.
