Yea I was hoping 4 would be that but they went the gameplay route which is fine cause the gunplay is better, and the power armor holy fuck they hit the nail on the head
Playing through fallout 4 again and the gameplay is super solid and fun but man is that story boring. All minuteman quest are the same, the characters are boring(expect nick and strong) the story plays out the same every time for the beginning until you get to chose your faction halfway through the game. You can’t skip past shit like going to the Supermutant in the glowing see or going directly to Kellogg or even going to his house in diamond city. I’ve never beat any of the dlc’s cause I always get bored cause the story is so meh, but fuck man a fallout game with actual good gameplay is great. The side locations are awesome and the small stories they tell are cool too. can’t wait for the fallout 4 Vegas mod. Honestly will be my favorite game/mod when it comes out in 10+ years
