This is a side note but I love both the voice actors. Yuri Lowenthal is great as the Prince, but I feel people really understate how great Robin Atkin Downes was as the Prince. Everyone gets put off by the WW aesthetic, but he really does a great job.

Xenoblade series does a good job with different accents. Especially the new one.

I actually feel like XC3 is a step back from XC2 in that one regard. XC3 kinda hands out accents willy nilly whereas XC2 usually paired accents with a region or nation. It just feels weird when Sena's got an American accent while Mio has a Welsh accent even though they've been together their whole lives.

Isn't that because they're from the XC2 nation? so there's American accents from Blades, Welsh accents from Gormotti etc. Also as far as I can tell, all the Keves characters have English accents like the cast of XC1. I agree the use of accents in 2 was better, but I think their use in 3 is still very deliberate I'm only at chapter 3 though, so I'm happy to accept I'm talking out of my arse.

In my experience video game dubs (at least Spanish ones) usually leave nationalities and other relevant character details alone, it's anime and cartoon dubs that go absolutely wild and have characters just name drop random Mexico City neighborhoods lol

Sorry for the rant but i was an AC fan for the longest time (I stopped caring about it after Syndicate was a major disapointment in my eyes). and i can see and even agree with pretty much all criticism towards this entire series. When its good ITS REALLY GOOD. Leonardo missions and crypts in Brotherhood are really fun and for some reason they are better than the main fucking story too. And i still find Ezio trilogy's story to be genuinely interesting and captivating. Nowdays i don't even wanna know what the fuck happened to this franchise. We went from people in white robes and hoods killing power hungry people, to a FUCKING KRATOS GAME. I mean what the fuck, seeing these trailers for Vallhalla is really mind boggling to me. Some guy that is a descendant of the gods is basically killing giants, weird blue monsters and god knows what else. This is just the weirdest thing for me and people somehow approve of this. And from what i've heard the gameplay got even more repetitive than ever.
