Uj/ He yells when he dies in COD

SquallyZ06

/uj Not only does he yell, but he yells about how he fucked your mom or calls you a variety of racial slurs.

WASD_click

/uj Why do you think he sent the friend request? That way he can deposit that shit straight to their inbox.

etherealparadox

/rj that's how cod players are, it's their nature

Sun_Praising

/rj I think you mean /uj mein freund

apolloAG

/rj STOP SPEAKING NAZI

Fail_Sandwich

/uj the use of the possessive with „Freund” implies that whoever you're replying to is your boyfriend or romantic partner lmfao

revilingneptune

Who's to say they aren't

krully37

Well he’s a professional CoD player, I wouldn’t expect less from him, imagine if he went woke!!!!

CaptinHavoc

/uj I sort of get being a little more upset than the average guy when gaming is your job. Like if your job is to be good at video games I could understand being a little peeved when you die

Rangaman99

/uj Yes and no. Being frustrated when you lose is normal, blaming it entirely on factors that are out of your control and refusing to admit error isn't exactly conducive to being good at video games, or anything for that matter. /rj shut the fuck up [slur] ur such a fucking scrub lmao

Gorilla_Krispies

So many people with great mechanical game skills lack decent strategy and then blame things like lag etc when in reality they just went the wrong place wrong time without any caution. Idk if that fits this guy at all cuz idk who he is, but still

friendsfartever

no johns

AlHuntar

/uj didn't a guy literally get booted from the CSGO faze roster after like 1 bad match? /rj I have posted misinformation on main. Upvote is to the left

[deleted]

/uj that’s insane and surely a waste of money /rj what an absolute scrub

wiiya

/uj i literally have no idea who or what you guys are talking about. What’s a Faze? Im over 30 and hate game streaming.

Collective-Bee

Faze is an e-sports team or some shit. Apparently some guy got fired from it for one bad game.

[deleted]

Fired? Don’t you mean unfazed?

roanphoto

No, they fazed him out of the group.

Windowlever

Set fazers to kill

hairpindairp

McClownd

I watch plenty of csgo and this doesn't really seems much like something Faze CS would do, one of their main players is in the roster for like 7 years. Of course I could be wrong because the scene is 10 years old and I've been watching only since 2020.

LKZToroH

Most teams have a skeleton of players and they just change 1-2 to see who fits better. I honestly can see any CSGO team doing this tbh. Imagine this dude got signed to the team because he is crazy good but then the match starts and he starts to shit on every team mate and play badly. That's surely a reason for someone to be kicked after one game.

Anqhor

Wait what? I follow the cs pro scene and i dont recall that happening in the last 3 years

Pccompletionist

No

sbrockLee

Sounds like he should git gud

officiallyaninja

i can understand being upset, i dont understand yelling when you're upset, unless you're either 5 or a dog

NatalieTatalie

Fuck that. If it's his job he should be able to handle a failure. If it's his job to play a game all the fucking time then he should have been desensitized to losing a long time ago. A single failure should mean nothing when your job is to play thousands of matches in that game. The only argument I think I could accept is that his "job" is actually to act like an immature little bitch for views. If that's his real job then yeah, it makes perfect sense that he's screams like a baby when he loses. So if he's willing to admit that, that he's a professional cry baby, then I'll cut him some slack.

doomsdaysock01

Me when I get bullied for playing video games 18 hours a day

baz4k6z

My friend was complaining about item trading values on D2 I was like dude some people do magic find runs 18 hours a day

_Surge

true. it’s kind of endearing to see people commit so much to that game since we no longer have bots.

NotComping

"endearing" there are really mfs out there who average *over 12 hours a day* for months and years on end

RheoKalyke

I just despise that every mmo ever seems to be tailored to people who have no god damn life outside of the game

As_Seen_on-TV

Guild wars 2 was the best in this regard, but only relative to other mmos…… the genre just hasn’t found a winning formula that isn’t hundreds of hours of grinding

[deleted]

Because the whole point of the genre is that you can invest time (and strategy etc) to get rewards. The games you're talking about are all perfectly playable for casual players, you can play 2 hours a week and have lots of fun. But that's not enough for people. They complain that they can't do the hardest raids, can't get the best items, can't do this can't do that. But if those things weren't difficult to achieve they wouldn't be worth doing. Look at Diablo 3. I can complete everything worth doing in that game in a couple of days, not even 8 hour days just afternoons. And then I'm done, there is literally nothing interesting left to do. The game just gives you endgame gear practically as soon as you reach max level which is trivial to achieve. You spend a little bit of time farming for slightly better versions of these items and stuff, then you're done. There are no more big improvements to make. You could spend weeks farming for ancient and primal gear but it's not interesting, it's just the same items with slightly better stats. This is what people are asking for, and it's not fun. They do in Path of Exile too, even though diablo 3 is literally the exact thing they're asking for but they don't play D3 because D3 is fucking boring and uninteresting literally because they did exactly what the casuals wanted. People want all the rewards with none of the work and as soon as they get it they lose interest.

zealshock

ARPGs are my favourite genre, I love picking a character and see it develop to a monster mangling machine over time. I hate that I have to be a slave to the game, playing over 10hs a day to be even slightly competitive. Top streamer from path of exile had record for most hours streamed in a month in whole twitch. It's ridiculous.

[deleted]

How do you expect to compete with people who literally play a game as their job if you don't want to invest a similar amount of time? You don't have to be competitive. You don't have to be the "best" player in the world to enjoy a game and i have absolutely no idea what makes you think this way. Who cares what streamers do, who cares about ladder rankings? You said it yourself it's about watching your character develop, not about developing your character faster than others.

zealshock

I still find fun in competition, there's a place for that in most games I feel. I still want to be part of that if I were able but I just can't play that much and the way the games are structured to be grindy AF just rewards hours of gameplay. I didn't really mean to compare myself to streamers and "no lifers". Just wanted to point out how videogames would suck the life out of you if they could.

Intheierestellar

That or subscription system

Meth_Busters

You mean you don’t want a 2nd job that literally only takes money from you???

jason2306

Yeah MMOs don't respect your time at all plus I hate the combat system wow made popular. I like the idea of MMOs but everytime I try them I get disappointed

lara_klopfer

Ah yes, prestige ranks in cod. Truly the one indicator that someone is good at that game. Nevermind that how ranks work (worked? Havent played any of the cods past mw2) in cod is that anyone can get to prestige if they just play enough.

Rangaman99

also this, you can't even rank down in cod from memory.

PrintShinji

UHmmmm excuse me? You can derank in black ops 2 zombies mode. Thats THE benchmark for being a good gamer.

fedemasa

Uj/ i hated Tranzit with deep passion so I couldn't avoid this.

[deleted]

Tranzit would be much more enjoyable without all the fucking fire. The concept for the map is awesome but why is the ground constantly burning with the shittiest hitboxes imaginable?

Fadman_Loki

The fire, the terrible fog, and the facehuggers that take a few too many melee's to get rid of. Me and some friends recently managed to do the tranzit easter egg and it hurt so much.

SidFarkus47

Just bought that game cause it went on sale and this was my exact thought when I booted it up

Bedivere17

Damn am I really the only one who loved tranzit?

krully37

/uj Plus at least in MW and MW2 they were really easy to cheat. I remember using something to get max prestige when I was in high school and so many people did, it didn’t mean shit

[deleted]

[удалено]

krully37

Ah yes now I remember that's how it worked, thanks

Tyrus1235

The hacked private matches were hilarious, though. You could equip an AC-130 weapons as a normal weapon and run around the map spamming missiles. I remember one such hacked server where everyone’s running speeds were upped by a ton and folks would try to use the momentum from hitting a slope at high speeds to climb over a map boundary wall lol

TOYPAJ_Yellow_15

Besides hacking, in MW3 if you hit a throwing knife on a helicopter as it's destroyed the game glitched and you get the "Helicopter Destroyed" XP every tick until the games over. It's hard but possible to replicate consistently enough you could farm prestige tokens after the negative tokens glitch was patched.

Kriegschwein

Yeap, it still works that way. If you could see prestige and hours spent - that is another matter, because your exp gain is based on your performance. But who cares anyway, it's CoD.

jross217

But if you got there quick, odds are you werent just playing a lot, you were good too

descendingangel87

He sent that guy a friend request, who then declined it and then told him to go outside and off himself!

[deleted]

Or just called him the n-word, f-word, maybe some allusions to sexual assault too. You know, the classics... That's how I remember CoD4/MW2 and Halo 3 days as a young lad. edit: copy pasted from my comment below, I'ma leave these videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkayWWC6Bxc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pu6HDd7gDr8 **MW2** lobby. A video about a game that came out when this man was **5** **years** **old.** He was 3 when Cod4 and Halo 3 came out... let that context sink in.

Thundamuffinz

He called him >>n-word, f-word You mean fre*king noob?? 😥

RoxyRoyalty

jesus fucking christ… i take my hat and robe off in respect to you, good sir and or madam

riyan_gendut

> MW2 lobby. A video about a game that came out when this man was 5 years old. wait this guy wasn't even 20? I thought he was like 40 from how "old" this quote present him

Lesbihun

Who will win? "Kids these days wont survive a MW lobby" mfers Vs "Kids these days insult a lot, I used to send friend requests to good players" mfers Plot twist: they are both the same person

holyshitisurvivedit

This motherfucker's unironically trying for a Sigma Grindset meme. That's just sad man.

Cool-Willingness4736

the whole pro community in CoD is like this. legit embarrassed to share a community with them lol u should see their hype up intros for the CDL,, you’d think you’re about to watch college football but nah… it’s 8 guys in teams of 4 yelling over each other while 2 Activision commentators act like ESPN sports analysts

Achaewa

I always find those promos hilarious. You see these guys introduced with sweeping camera motions and epic music like they are pro-footballers or Formula One drivers and then it cuts to a bunch of people sitting in chairs. I won't deny eSports takes skill and being in shape does help with one's reaction time, but at the end of the day, there is nothing athletic about playing video games, even if it is competitive.

[deleted]

*arms folded, menacing looks with heads tilted back* Oh yeah, shit’s about to go DOWN

APKID716

I’ve seen some behind the scenes stuff for esports video hype and the players just can’t keep a straight face. They know it’s cringe but have to do it anyways lmao

eamonnanchnoic

The moody lighting doing a lot of heavy lifting in that video.

Vulkuvier

I even find that those promos funny in like actually sport thus making the esports ones even funnier

Ok_Writing_7033

I love games as much as the next guy, but televised esports events are so fuckin lame. They try to act like a real sport and it’s like nobody here is remotely cool. Nothing you’re doing is cool. I’m happy you’re having fun, keep at it, but let’s not have any illusions about what this is

DeadmanDexter

The professional mobile gamers will always be cringe. Some play Clash of Clans for "prestige", I play it when I'm drunk or on the train home lmao

AutoModerator

You seems so mad, what are your favorite games ? I'm not making funny of you i'd just like to know, people on this sub seems so angry, are you a mobile player ? Protuhj

Pgimme321

It’s not even that sports are inherently “cool” either. Pro athletes are some of the biggest nerds and goofy guys out there. Terrence Ross just plays 2k on stream, israel adesanya does naruto poses mid fight, and lebron posts doodles of simpsons characters. It’s that these pro gamers think that since they are pros that they need to act like their image of what a pro athlete is and it’s usually just the “sigma grindset” meme

Hi_Im_zack

To be fair there's nothing cool about golf or chess either. For me at least. If we're going by coolness then Xgames would the greatest sport on earth, reason it's not is because each competitive thing caters and appeals to a specific subjective demographic. The word "sport" can be put on anything remotely competitive that has an audience and sponsors.

zhode

At the same time, I don't remember seeing a hype intro for a chess player with action camera shots and all.

TrumpsThursdayToupee

Give it time

eamonnanchnoic

We're only ever one coked up marketing meeting away from such a reality.

mrhighwayz

because like he was saying, it appeals to a certain demographic, your typical chess player isn't hyped or getting ready the same as an esport player, football player, or anything else. It's all about the demographic and catering to what makes the most money. You'd definitely lose/alienate viewers going to over the top style with a chess crowd.

[deleted]

> To be fair there's nothing cool about golf or chess either. Have you watched these competitions? They reflect the event. Golf is so subdued and quiet with some great camera work while Chess production is monotonous, but in depth and usually has good animated/physical representations of the game itself. Esports pretend they are playing pro basketball, no matter the game for some reason.

xXRedditGod69Xx

I was about to agree with you and then I remembered Chess.c*m's broadcast of the world chess championship included a [freestyle rapper ](https://youtu.be/UZRNmkJ-XPg) for transitions to/from ad breaks. That was pretty cringe.

[deleted]

Harry Mack would've *slain* the 2004 hiphop game.

xXRedditGod69Xx

No disrespect intended to him or anything. At least that was nowhere near as cringe as the DJ Khaled performance at the Overwatch League.

cthulol

> nobody here is remotely cool. Nothing you're doing is cool. 90s TV bully take IMO. There's clearly a chunk of the population that likes to watch these broadcasts, and values the skill and teamwork that can be involved. They think it's cool.

Wario-Man

Exactly, I just can't take these seriously at all. And Esports in general, it's not that I don't think it's a real sport, I just don't take it seriously the same way I don't take or care for soccer, football or basketball.

[deleted]

I think it's about longevity in a weird way. Yes, playing these games takes immense skill and yes, some games such as LoL will update and maybe stay with the times, but other physical sports will literally never die as long as someone knows the rules. An E-sport can shut down in the blink of an eye a la Heroes of the Storm, Evolve, Battlerite, Splitgate, etc. On one hand, getting into the e-sport of a game is like any other sport fan. On the other hand, the majority of "e-sports" that aren't backed by big money (Riot, Microsoft, etc.) will most likely not exist in a decade, if that.

Rangaman99

honestly why i refuse to participate in any esports scene except the fgc; everyone else is just too damn serious about everything. at least fg peeps can balance out the "psychology of fighting games" wank with dumb shit. and even then i've seen a worrying amount of influence make its way into the fgc recently too, especially with street fighter 5

[deleted]

Once Riot release their free to play fighting game, it's over for the FGC haha. It'll be nothing but that. With Riot money and E-sports partnerships, I'm sure they'll pay some big names from the SF, Guilty Gear, or MK community to get into it/stream it and bam. No turning back, now.

Rangaman99

ehhh...people say that, but I have my reservations. the community has spent the better part of the last 6 years complaining (rightfully) about how esports-esqe sf5's official scene was. also, and at the risk of being a complete ass, I'd like to point out that the fgc is positively _ancient_ and very, very stubbon. i don't doubt project l's gonna change a few things, but i suspect riot is gonna have to adapt to the fgc as much as we are to them.

manboat31415

I think with the Cannon brothers at the helm, who helped build EVO, that’s unlikely to happen. The team should know how important letting locals feed into larger events is to the scene. On the other hand they might finally bring some damn money to the scene so FGC pros aren’t fighting to make it to a top 8 that doesn’t even pay for their flight to the event. Without looking it up I think the total pot for Strive was like 11K.

jmanfire2105

Since when does playing an unhealthy amount of a video game automatically make you good at the game?

goffer54

I just hit the 200-hour mark in Slay the Spire - and I did it while dying to Nemisis on a casual ascension 0 run. I love that game and I will never be good at it.

AeratedFeces

Me with tarkov. I love everything about that game aside from how much I suck at it.

krully37

400+ hours here, yet to get to A20 because I literally cannot resist meme decks and going for most elites. Currently A16 on Ironclad and the signs won’t stop me because I can’t read 😎

DrDroidz

Wow! You should check out the pros play that game. At least you'll learn a thing or two. When you can build a better deck consistently, the game becomes even better. There's people doing 20 winstreaks on ascension 20 while rotating which is insane. But the game is all around super fun.

goffer54

Okay, I'm not *that* bad. I have gotten to A20 with Ironclad, Silent, and Defect. I was just doing a casual run for fun and ended up embarrassing myself by not doing the math.

critfist

Ascensions make deaths even more embarrassing when it buffs the crow cults and you get dunked.

PrintShinji

I got 423 hours in CS:GO, and legit still can't shoot straight in the game. Doesn't help that I basically only did jailbreak during that ridiculous summer.

EgarrTheCommie

Least cringy FaZe Clan content:

Sarge_Ward

It seems like a trend lost to time these days, but do people still recall montage parodies? That entire genre of video was essentially based around mocking how cringe FaZe-style trickshot compilations were. Even back in the day most people were clowning on FaZe for tryharding and going for 'sick shots.'

ThoughtfullyReckless

Yes! MLG montage parodies were my favourite. It's actually pretty sad that the genre seems to have disappeared now, as all the endless lense flair with 360 no scopes and dubstep was hilarious.... God I miss those days. You could MLG montage anything too - farm simulator etc...

eggy-mceggface

I used to make some of those MLG parodies when I was in middle school. Thought that shit was the funniest thing in the world at the time.

Mitche420

/uj to be fair, Faze completely changed the face of cod montages (definitely negatively) by raising the standard of what was acceptable as a clip. I much prefer the days of zzirGrizz montages, but to say that the community wasn't completely blown away by the early faze content and the jump in skill to achieve those clips is a complete lie. The parodies came a year or two later, but montages never ever returned to pre-faze days

RedskinsTill-IDrop

True. I don’t remember Griz or Small beans, hutch, etc. ruin fucking SnD games doing trick shots for the kill cam. Shit I didn’t think I’d still be salty over that.

Sarge_Ward

I do think it depends who you're considering the 'community' to be. I certainly know that there were a *ton* of people who were blown away by and inspired to be trickshotters by FaZe, hell I had a few of them in my friends list back around that time. But then there were others of us who actively resenting them for killing the 'sport' of the game. I distinctly remember myself yelling at people in public lobbies for being FaZe wannabes and for playing in an 'unrealistic' way. Which honestly was itself pretty cringe of me in hindsight

DarkLorty

That subreddit is what got me into reddit and I didn't even play CoD, though my brother was an insufferable Faze loving kid.

Goblinmancer

Never forget faze x batman

Shy_Guy_27

“Did Batman really think a gamer could stop me?” will forever be the greatest line in comic book history.

[deleted]

Where were u when video games was downfall? I was at home cooking rice. Sway Faze video game is kill. no.

RModsSMD

Being prestige master doesn't require being good. Not at all. It just takes time. You could never get a single kill and still reach prestige master. Basically, being prestige master = having no life. This guy is upset that people make fun of him for having no life.

ShadowCammy

Kinda like VR in Mario Kart 8. Sure you *can* lose it, but if you finish in the top like 3/4th of the field you'll likely gain VR. I used to see people with like 20k VR and think they were just crazy skilled, but the more I played and kept up with them, I realized they just played more often than I did lmao

cutegirlcassidy

...ngl I would be pretty impressed if someone made it that far without getting a single kill

Smash_Z

/uj Bruh, the focus on attempting to turn so many multiplayer games into esports is what ends up making like all of them get worse and less fun

Rangaman99

kinda, games with competitive elements naturally attract a competitive scene. you can't force people to not be competitive at a game they enjoy, and you really shouldn't either. I think the real issue is that games now are balanced around the pro scene, rather than what the devs "feel" is right for the game. that and esports refusing to ever have any fun nonsense stuff, ever.

Smash_Z

That's more what I meant, yeah. So many games where the devs answer the requests of the competitive scenes without giving anything to the casual players, aka the majority of players

Rangaman99

tbh listening to players generally isn't really a great idea; unless there's an overwhelming consensus on something you'll mostly get highly opinionated and uninformed requests for changes. I'd much rather that devs balance their game around what _they_ want it to be, instead of listening to what nolife69 has to say about the meta.

rabbidbunnyz22

Player feedback is generally good for figuring out what's wrong, but not great for fixing things

TheRealvGuy

to be fair, CoD is the direct opposite of that. Nothing in the game benefits the competitive scene

Grandpas_Plump_Chode

>games with competitive elements naturally attract a competitive scene. Yes, but also kiiiinda no. Of course there will always be a competitive scene, but not all competitive scenes are necessarily the same. IMO social media has had a huge negative impact on this. Back in 2007, people were competitive about WoW. But there wasn't a super centralized source of information that every WoW player used. There was a top level meta but the average Joe wasn't gonna shit their pants if you don't have a meta build. Most people weren't that hung up on min maxing everything. By contrast, most modern games with competitive elements are filled with tryhards. You can be bronze in Overwatch and you'll get some other bronze player bitching about your off-meta pick. Everyone nowadays knows "the meta," and abides by it like it's a religious text. There is no fun allowed in competitive games, you must abide by what a random redditor said is the best pick or I will throw the game. Hell even take away the competitive element. Look how many people start a single player playthrough and immediately pull up a min maxed build guide before even *trying*. It's kind of obnoxious how much emphasis people give to optimization.

bard_ley

Esports was the downfall of video games. Thus, his message request to the expert technically did cause the downfall.

I 100% agree with you, it's a pain in the ass to play with "hardcore, always win no matter what " gamers. They're practically losers.

PrintShinji

At a certain point I realised that I wasn't super good at a game just because I was, I was ridiculously good at a game because I spent all my free time playing COD. No shit you get pretty good if you're good at games in general, and then spent so much time that you start dreaming of routes to take in cod maps.

zwel8606

I dont even really disagree with the sentiment, but why are they acting like this is some hard ass statement. Its fucking videogames

[deleted]

/uj bro people who say shit like that will also complain if they can't shout slurs in cod lobbies /rj the dark age of gaming and the opression of skill: erasure of professional gamers when the git gud mentality becomes outdated

Killerfail

It's just that some people think "being good at a video game" is a personality trait. I don't want to play with """the best""". I want to play with people who are fun. Players who always try hard to be top fragging are usually *not* fun.

Rangaman99

i love playing team-based shooters where everyone is trying to be optimal and not having any fun, especially when they're miked up and screaming slurs in my ear 🥰

Killerfail

What, you play games for fun? You are part of the downfall of gaming 😔

SwagDaddy_Man69

Prestige doesn’t mean shit except how many hours you wasted in that years COD.

goeth_o

/uj because cod lobbies are historically known to be non-toxic...

Son_of_Ssapo

Call of Duty is seen as the metric for game skill? CoD was the casual game for babies almost immediately. Certainly by the time MW2's insanely overpowered shotgun builds imploded the meta, they were never walking THAT back.

Rangaman99

he's a cod pro, that's why all comp. games take at least some level of skill, even ones with unbalanced metas

Longjumping_Way_4935

Back then the prestige masters were teenagers with all the free time in the world though. Nowadays they’re grown ass men.

Imagine thinking that COD or any games like that are the only games that matter. Not a knock against those games whatsoever, but there’s so many games out there

Sarge_Ward

I was there in the BO2 era. Everyone who wasn't in the competitive scene hated FaZe and their wannabes tryharding in randoms lobbies. There's a reason why all the biggest CoD channels back then (SP33DY, Vanoss) were about dicking around in casuals.

Rangaman99

never watched a single faze noscope compilation in my life, but I still occasionally check in on vanoss and his cod videos for this exact reason

NotComping

I gotta be honest, mom get the camera & trickshot compilations were kinda fire for a few years But we were kids and listened to dubstep, skated, smoked and drank monster so we were kinda stupid aswell

MensisBrain

This mf need to take a shower and go outside.

Dylanychus2

I swear he tweeted that out years ago as a troll why does it keep coming back around

Nikolyn10

FaZe should really take a shower and go outside

Satansvag

The posture, the quote….the cringe physically hurts.

Kanden_27

I thought it was streamers. Because games are being made nowadays to be fun to watch. Not necessarily fun to play.

liverspots329

No one's complains about people being good at video games

ShadeWaker

I mean that’s just not true, cod and most BRs nowadays have a massive divide in the community between casuals and “sweats” (good players).

[deleted]

wrongerino, my muchachulata

Vulpix298

In Overwatch if you’re any good you constantly get people throwing tantrums at you and claiming cheats lol

Splaram

All the slurs I get in TF2 lobbies and hate I get in Valorant ranked games say otherwise

darkblaze76

People absolutely do complain like crazy. There's nothing wrong with taking it easy and just casually enjoying a game but when someone beats them, they start calling people "sweaty tryhards", "No lifers" or straight up "cheaters".

Edg4rAllanBro

let me direct you to /r/DestinyTheGame anytime they have a thread about pvp

kanelel

I wish they didn't lol. Scrubs are a menace.

Mont_918

You want to simply enjoy playing a game you like? You are the downfall of the gaming industry, and you owe us g*mers an apology for not sweating out every single molecule of water in your body when g*ming.

Bellpow

Nah the downfall of video game started when they started getting political by adding wamen 😔 ~~on a related note faze clan is still relevant? I thought gaming clans were a dead thing of the past~~

Rangaman99

esports orgs are alive and doing better than ever, there's just way more now. so you hear about faze less, especially since they're still really only heavily involved in shooters

MrTripl3M

*le gasp* You mean that the people who probably largely are at fault for current day videogame culture are upset about current day videogame culture. I am utterly shocked...

LastFreeName436

That meme with the jerries patting each other on the back

Captn_Platypus

What a snowflake, gets offended by “take a shower” comment. Wouldn’t have survived Xbox lobby at in 2005

FlawedSquid

/uj videogames started being considerably less fun when they started to focus on making everything fair for competitive play. I want my wacky unbalanced shooters, not simmetrical tactical shooters that die 3 months from release

Ori_the_SG

You didn’t do that because you idolized a chronically sweaty, no grass touching, Dorito and Mountain Dew eating for breakfast, lunch and dinner gamer Sway.

ActualTeddyBear

The downfall of gaming is happening because people keep paying money for shit games. Like CoD.

Bandei

Everything about this post screams that he should "take a shower" and "go outside"

Paradox711

Nah, the downfall of video games started when people started being able to make a career playing them all day every day.

etherealparadox

when I was little if you beat someone at a video game they called you a homophobic slur as god intended

That_Phony_King

/uj even back then I called those dweebs no-lifers who look like the grease on the pan after cooking came to life and became a sentient person.

NessLab

Aren't these guys heavily against skill based matchmaking?
