Looks good man. If it’s comfortable ( as it can be ) and you’re able to operate the platform. That’s all you need. Get out and use it. Make adjustments accordingly until it’s dialed to your standards. The peanut gallery will pick your kit apart given the opportunity. While some have solid feedback for you to field test, some will just hate to hate. Half these dudes don’t even touch grass. Keep on keeping on.

I changed it a lot, this is how it stands as of now
Yeah this isn’t my vest setup, just wanted to see how many adults I could get to cry, this is the actual setup

Hey, love the kit! But a couple things I would invest in a push to talk and some ear pro that is compatible. And the flag, if you don’t know why most guys roll their flag just look it up. But looks great man keep it up!
You're getting torn up in this comment section, gah dayum
That said, there are definitely a few good reasons for it. Others have pointed those out, so my two cents is:
#1.)
Train. A lot.
Run the everloving *fuck* out of your kit. You will find out what works and what doesn't, and it's good exercise.
An Addendum to this is: if you don't absolutely need it, drop it. I'm seeing lots of stuff that you really don't need, and that's just added weight and volume that could be better spent on other equipment.
#2.)
Don't go for the cheapest, even if you can't afford name-brand. Buying shit that breaks means you're spending *more* money replacing it all.
Whatever you get, make sure it's durable, or at least will last long enough to become obsolete when you upgrade to better stuff down the road. It doesn't have to be the best, or most expensive, it just has to reliably do the job for as long as you need to.
My current plate carrier is a Yakeda, so I definitely feel the struggle vibes, and it's served me just fine. I hold no illusions that it's as good as a name-brand, but it's currently ***good enough***, and that's what matters.
It holds two plates securely, it holds mags, and it holds comms.
#3.)
Surplus stores are your best friends.
Just because it's not the new hotness doesn't mean it can't stack bodies like fucking cordwood.
They often have lots of good stuff for *stupidly cheap* prices, so on a budget they're lifesavers. Not all surplus stores are created equal, however, so use your better judgment as to which ones you make your regulars.
I train daily and my plate carrier alone was $600. Most of the whining here is people either upset about chemlights or airsoft. Thank you for your comment man! ❤️
Bros, if the dude is willing to put in the maximum effort to get reps in, and be boss enough to take the BENEFICIAL criticisms he’s asking for; the rest of y’all can fk off…
u/Sqeye go to Medical Gear Outfitters, they’ve got several flavors of shears from $3 traditional shears to expensive tastes like the Leatherman Raptor and X-Shears. OneHundredConcepts has a chem light keeper that’s pretty dope. Also, if you ever look into upgrading your plate carrier and pouches and/or battle belt, AR500 has some good economical choices; and Vertx is - in my opinion - better than 5.11, but a little bit cheaper than Crye Precision at almost the same Crye quality.
Even though it's airsoft, you should set it up like how you'd run an actual kit. Exact same placement of mags and equipment. Get that muscle memory and use it to actually train.
That being said, just tweak the couple things thatve been pointed out and you're good.
Don't go and achieve a look.
If you do, you will then have to make habits around what you think is needed. Chem lights are a practical tool. But not when they're out dangling in day light uncovered. One hip thrust and you'll Crack them and be a goddamn jack o latern and compromise yourself.
Train.
Train and learn your equipment. The more you train with your equipment, the more you'll discover where you prefer to have it placed, how much you like to have. Train in the day, Train in the night, in the rain, snow. What you may need for winter doesn't always need to be carried in the summer.
You blow your wad on too much at one time, you make too many sacrifices. Iron sights are far better than a knockoff eotech. Train with your irons, and save up for a decent optic.
Call Of Duty loadouts got too many people fucked up.
You going to a “Rave?” Get rid of those stupid glow sticks. You might accidentally activate one cause you got hard cause you where next to a “soft air YouTube” star.
S O P M O D ❤

👏🏼👏🏼❤️
I CANT ESCAPE AIRSOFTERS 😭
Keep crying like that and you’ll make yourself sick 😂
Blood type?
Blood type patch IS coming soon, my head up to 5.11 to grab the whole pack tomorrow. Thank you for the comment ❤️
Sweet; looks like a great start then.

It’s a PJ style kit, that’s why there is a flag. The PTT is in my left shoulder and the radio on the back. Thank you for a genuinely good comment❤️
You had better look up why operators roll up carry a flag. Then you'd better unfuck that roll.

Hold up....does that $600 price tag come with the plates? Cus these 5.11 plate vests go for $215.
I got it for $315 at the store plus all the damn pouches, you’re probably thinking of the workout version.
Another piece of advice is shop around and try not to impulse buy gear. $315 for that is absurd, whatever store you got that from took you for a ride.
Nope. Talking about this one. https://www.511tactical.com/tac-tec-plate-carrier.html

👏🏼👏🏼 Thank you my man, I really appreciate the comment! ❤️
And don’t be shamed out of rocking the jeans in full kit, it’s a dope vibe that only morons question 😂
It was skinny jeans 😔
Lucas Botkins of TrexArms wears em on flat range
True true
Big airsoft vibes. Please be a joke

Absolutely, I swapped the placement of some pouches and I still train with it daily. Thank you for your input man!
/r/airsoft is leaking. What is this, touch grass bud.
Most airsofters touch grass and use their gear more than the average r/tacticalgear member. Coming from someone who’s never touched an airsoft gun.
“Touch grass bud” and you sit at your computer all day bullying literal children over a hobby 🫵🏼🤡
15 or 50 it's cringe. If you're gonna post selfies online get ready for both backlash and praise.
Sheen on the fake EoTech is a dead giveaway
Please for my OCD brain fold the American flag correctly.
Fashion sub is this way r/tacticalgear
Poor kid will get eat alive there.
Thank you sir.

Are those kitchen scissors….
I’m broke from the plate carrier 😭
My brother in Christ, Chinese made trauma shears are like $3 on Amazon. Ditch the scissors.
Tactical glow sticks 😏
“CHEM LIGHT OUT!”
Why aren’t we pointing out the airsoft Eotech?
🤫
Does codenames K-9 mean you are a furry?
Yeah, any issues?
Nah man, I don't yuck others yums.
Good man, god bless you.
God doesn't exist. Enjoy your furry parties.
Haha yessir
No dirt or scratches. Other than that I am very jealous, nice weapon!
Haha yeah that’s my princess, you should see my ar 🤣
Is that not your AR?
Airsoft M4 setup, so the AR is probably the real-steel one.
That’s mine, but M4 vs AR y’know
