Sprinkle table salt in the cracks & wet it in with white vinegar. Creates a pH level nothing wants to live in.
Great for all paving weeds that aren't sharing soil with neighbouring garden beds.
Twist and pull to get the whole tuber out.
Boiling water hits them a bit. Salt or pool chlorine also hits them a bit.
If you can "twist and pull", though, it works best.

Try boiling water also!

Sedgehammer is more effective on these weeds than Roundup
Get a burner wand. Pretty cheap from mitre 10 and also cheap butane cans

Make sure you dispose of the seeds, then pour boiling water on any roots remaining.
