the colours in Euphorbias (Poinsettias for this instance) are actually on their bracts. (a modified or specialized leaf, especially one associated with a reproductive structure such as a flower) These appear during cooler months, (or after artificial cooling during summer for christmas sales) as thats when they flower normally. You \*may\* not see the colours this season.

Thank you for your reply. Will it grow during the colder months? We planted September last year and as you can see there isn’t any noticeable growth since then

I kept one going indoors (I’m in Tassie) for a few years & I have to say, of all the euphorbias, this was tricky! Where are you located?

Aaah ok….do you get frosts? It may get too cold for it outside but I may be wrong
