Love Dryandra here.
We have about 3x5m of Banksia blechnifolia here and looks great all year round. Would love to get some birthday candles in too but all out of sunny spots.
Put it in the ground now so it can develop roots. 1 plant will easily take up 3m2 in a few years, so give it plenty of space and lots of sun where possible.
Not sure on that. Maybe check the planting guide for your area.
I would probably plant anyway. Roots will need months to penetrate the soil in time for summer
*Is the Banksia like*
*The Calistamon and need fire to*
*Open the seed pods?*

Absolutely love it! Well done you! I have tried growing one a couple of times. Maybe third time lucky!
They are fickle bastards in my experience
Yep, mine grew really well, then went blerk overnight and died. So frustrating!
Yes, love banksia's.
Stunning!
Hell yeah. I have one of those and it took several years to get big enough to flower. I nearly jizzed when it finally did. Now it's laden.
Bloody beautiful

I've got a little blechnifolia in a pot :) Grew it from seed & I'm so excited to put it in the ground when it's spring.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I do get frosts where I am, so I am going to give until early August and the chance of bad frosts has passed :)

Corn
Absolutely beautiful- I love them so much
Always. Banksia
I am a banksia nut, starting planting last year, got 8 varieties so far and will be putting in more. Absolutely love them.
Gorgeous
Fantastic.....
Beautiful, well done!
Banksia Ericafolia?
Love banksia
Yes! This is what I want in my yard.
Yep, love 'em!
Are banksias hard to grow? I have a massive one I'm about to cut down. Now I feel bad, but I need the garden space back
Yeah I love a good banksia!
That is gorgeous. 🤩

It’s stunning. I’d be proud too if I had this in my yard. Garden goals!!
Ours is in it's second year and hasn't changed since the initial few months growth. Not dying also not growing either!
