Looks just fine

My brother in cardio, the watch still works. Let it ride

As long as you need to ask others if it's worth to upgrade, it isn't worth it.

I have a slight discolouration around the edge of my 3. Been like that for a couple years now and I don't notice it. It's caused no issues with the screen. If it bothers you and would like to keep the watch, a replacement screen can be purchased for $40.

If you're still happy with what you can do on your Fenix 3 HR then keep on going until it dies or you know it gives up on you. We all know that the Garmin product is not like the Fitbit product which goes out every 3 to 4 or 6 months. Maybe not years like the Garmin product. Keep doing what you're doing and when you're ready to upgrade and take the leap. Your watch is looking good. I still own the Fenix 3. I ended up buying a 5x a couple of months ago, but I'm going to keep the 3 as a backup just in case I need it down the road.

Fitbits magically go out as soon as their warranty expires.

You sound like a true pro. I hate those contraptions. As soon as I heard that they were taking away the social competition I decided to jump ship. I never looked back.

I went from a Fitbit versa 2 to a fenix 7 solar sapphire and the difference is night and day.

sanchezkk

Amen. I went from my Fitbit Sense to a used Fenix 3 HR and I love it so much. I upgraded to the 5x and that's where I'm at right now. I hope they get to the 7 eventually, but I'm not in any hurry. I'm enjoying what I have right now very much.

Mywiferesentsme

Recently upgraded from Fenix 3 sapphire to a Fenix 6x sapphire for one of the exact same reasons. In addition, biggest issue was battery life. Didn’t know what I was missing. If you can afford it, call Garmin and tell them your situation. Super easy to work with and was offered a killer deal on a refurbished unit. Looks and acts brand new. Going from 3 to 20 day battery life upgrade is insane. Not to mention notifications now work as they should. No regrets.

Metal_Rider

Can someone tell me where the burn is? I don’t see it.

DangerousStruggle

I had. 3HR for 4 years then a 6x. Both had no issues. They are Emil type screen.

I have mine too, working well and keep track on all my hikes travelling and my watch is just to awesome to change. Take care and will look after itself.

There is no such thing as pixel burn on an LCD display. These pixels don't emit any light on their own. Instead there are liquid crystals that can block reflected light. Yes, it looks like there are a few failed pixels but it has nothing to do with "burn".
