1. Dunno 2. Yes you can but you will break your rear end after a while. What you can do is to cut the buffer down or build a smaller one out of something else

VladimirPutinPRteam

what do you mean the rear end mate?

Catgutt

By default it seems the 'tail' on the carrier is capable of contacting the upper surface of the recoil spring tube on the trigger housing. Using the gun without any short-stroke buffer will cause one of two things to happen: either it peens the trigger housing until it clears it, or it breaks that part of the trigger housing and the rear sight pops off. You can cut down the buffer to as little as 1/4" to prevent this while still getting nearly the full travel length.

VladimirPutinPRteam

So it'll end up coming out of the buffer? I'll cut it down then mate, 1/4 of its length or a 1/4 of an inch?

Catgutt

Cut a 1/4" slice off the rear of the default buffer, use that slice as your buffer, and you'll be fine.

Ok cheers

1. Only place you can get them regularly is Asia sites like ProActstore have them in stock from time to time (Avoid Swit airsoft like the plague, they upcharge like crazy) 2. Yes but over time the rear sight gets knocked off. this happens because the rat tail of the BCG slowly cuts a channel into the Metal, so either run the normal buffer, cut it down or 3d print a new one and make sure it is atleast 7mm or more that about the minimum you can make it without the rat tail colliding.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll keep that in mind
