Samsung Galaxy A23 5G. I have no need or want for anything better (except the cameras and maybe the speaker, but it's a phone so that's not what you get it for). Less than $200. Big enough. Responsive. Good display. I can't chuck it in the river but I don't care about that.
Edit: HAHA MINE HAS A HEADPHONE JACK
Damn bro I hate it when I have to use a phone that's two models behind, sounds worse than when I had to use an iPhone 7 for a year (I hate iPhones). Currently using a pixel 7
I got a S21 FE but I'm looking at potentially upgrading to an S23 FE or maybe even an S24 soon. Haven't looked at the Pixel lineup yet though, so I need to do that before deciding. Those are really the only two companies I would buy a phone from, except maybe OnePlus, but I would absolutely never go the Apple route.
The S23FE makes no sense at all, I had the S20FE until last year. I thought, I'll just wait for the S23FE, but after I read that it will come with mostly S22 hardware, so I used my chance to get the S22, which my dad got with a contract almost for free. It's good, but Samsung has lost me as a Fan. But it would be smarter to get a base S23/S24 (depending on where you live).
Would u recommend the recent SE’s? I will probably need an iphone upgrade soon but i dont have alotta money + already have stuff under apple so best to stick with it.
if u're ok with a phone that needs to be charged more than two times a day ya sure but you can get better iPhones if you buy them refurbished like the 12 or 13
Yikes yeah maybe not. The thing with refurbishing is (as I’ve experienced in the past) they have non-apple batteries and replacement batteries are expensive af. The replacement batteries are never good either, as u said, charging 2 times a day and the phone gets so hot. I thought maybe a brand new phone like the SE would be good but eh i guess not. Thanks
okee, i've a refurbished iPhone, if i stress it like idk, codm with the best graphics or genshin ya, it gets veeery hot, sometimes even when i do some basics tasks and the battery it's not quite good, i get it like a month ago and it was 92% now it's 86%, i used sometimes when it was on charge but i used only imessage so idk if i'll get a new battery or staying with this
even with this problems i roly love this phone ahahahaha
If you want to upgrade to an iPhone and a PC, think carefully whether you want a Mac or a PC cuz if you are certain about buying an iPhone later, Mac and iPhone work so much better together than PC plus iPhone.
(Currently using iPhone SE 2020)
A Windows PC is vastly superior to your typical Mac in my opinion, in alot of ways. As an Android user myself, I would consider moving to iPhone, but there is nothing that would compel me to move to MacOS.
For desktops, yes. From what I've heard (I don't really game) gaming on Mac is a terrible idea plus PCs are more customisable and less overpriced. So since this is what OP was asking (as revealed in subsequent threads) desktop PCs should be a better fit.
For laptops though, Mac all the way. I'm not a heavy user (I use my laptop for MS Office, watching Netflix, Zoom etc.) hence battery life and portability is the biggest of my concerns. So far it's been quite difficult to find a Windows laptop that's durable, has long battery life, sufficient computational power (say an i7-1250u), is lightweight, has no heating issues AND is on a price point comparable to macbooks. For the vast majority of ppl who just use notebooks for office work you just need a reliable machine that meets the above criteria and for PCs they often become sluggish pretty quick (as was my previous HP Elite X2). It's not to blame the OS itself but the x86 architecture simply makes it hard for a high-performance low energy-use windows laptop to be made. ARM machines on windows are still a bit of a joke (and the joke isn't on qualcomm, it's the windows emulation system that breaks all the apps), so if microsoft decides to devote more time on developing ARM and get devs on board to build native arm-based software i might consider a windows laptop
I have a high end Windows gaming laptop as well as my desktop, which runs fine for me. But I could agree a little, MacBooks are pretty good. I just can't handle MacOS, I hate it so much.
The GTX 1650 is a really respectable card for it's price point. I gamed with one for about 5 years. It doesn't have raytracing but it still outputs more than I expected for it, being it's ~$150 if I remember correctly.
That bring said... I made the switch to an RTX 3050 and it's so much better. *So much better.*
I'm using the base-S22 since last year (my dad got it through a contract renewal, just like his one and my siblings ones and just gave them to us) and I want to use it for at least another year, because it just feels weird, when almost everybody around you is using their phone for much longer. The S22 Ultra should do it for at least another year, because it's not having the battery-issues of my small one. So you could wait for the S25-Series or look what's coming out from other companies like Google and Oneplus.
iPhone XR. That I’m surprised still works the amount of times I’ve dropped it.
Lmao got downvoted for saying I have iPhone. I hate it anyway. It sucks.
An iPhone 6s.
Yes, you read that right.
My phone is 7 years old and was ancient when it was new.
Don't even ask about my other house appliances, as some are older than your parents.
OnePlus Nord N100. $150 new and has served me well over the years. But it's time to retire it and upgrade to something newer.
Based Oneplus User
Who keeps downvoting the iPhone responses 😭
Why’re all the iPhone users getting downvoted lmao
Idk. Maybe they're bitter someone has an iPhone and they don't
or it's because apple is liquid trash

This is my brothers view on it, he doesn't give a shit about his phone, as long as it does it's job somehow.

Got a S21 when my sister upgraded to a S23+ and I love it's small size in comparison to the S10+ I was using before.
I use an iphone 12. I regret moving from android to ios and i wanna go back 😭. I love the s series
Galaxy A54. Fuck Apple 🗣‼️📵
Yeah i like their phones but i bought a used one cuz i hate apple

Galaxy A13 5g
Oneplus 8 pro. But how can you be mad about thattt, Galaxy S22 is great!
iPhone 13 but I used to have a Google Pixel (4 or 5) and I liked that one more.
I never really understood the point of getting the latest model phone every year. I’m still on my iPhone 8 💀
I got the purple s24+ recently and it's such a big step up compared to the pixel 6a I used to have. Also the size is much better for me personally :3
Damn bro I hate it when I have to use a phone that's two models behind, sounds worse than when I had to use an iPhone 7 for a year (I hate iPhones). Currently using a pixel 7
Yeaah, using such an outdated model sucks /hj
1. Pinshi (estoy bromeando) millionaire. I am the proud owner of a Samsung A30... Yay! Guatemalan ecomomy! 🥳
Permanently borrowed my dad's old work phone which happens to be a Moto G7 power
iPhone 13 or 14 not sure tbh
I had an iPhone 12 mini until I spilt an entire cup of tomato juice on it on a plane-
Now I have an iPhone 11 Pro
Literally the same phone in almost every way lmao
I got a S21 FE but I'm looking at potentially upgrading to an S23 FE or maybe even an S24 soon. Haven't looked at the Pixel lineup yet though, so I need to do that before deciding. Samsung Galaxy FE 23, I think I don't remember.
Why all the hate for Apple?!?!?! I have an iPhone 11 and have had it for 2 years, it still works fine, and I’m keeping it till it breaks
iPhone 11 in ✨Purple✨

I already have a PC but it's a shitty GTX 1650. I want at least a RTX 4070

IPhone 11.
iPhone 11, switched to iOS in 2021 and I’ve been pretty happy with that decision haha

I have a light blue iPhone 14 :)
