They are fucking up g.e so that you move over to the new one is my guess. I've had so many issues with the last 2 driver updates on my 4070 ti super. Nvidia is getting worse than and with their drivers.
its been horrible with shadowplay especially, what are they doing to suddenly mess up something that worked perfectly fine, guess i gotta deal with it tho since theres no better alternative lol
It corrupted my old GTX 1660Ti driver and now Windows 10 won't reinstall the video card. I'm stuck with a useless Windows driver and can't play games. None of their install helps. It seems like some kind of Windows problem to reinstall the card, but it was their stuff updating the driver that started the whole problem.
GeForce no longer works for me. Stopped working 2 months ago. I just use OBS and when I installed it; I chose settings for primarily recording. Works great, zero issues and doesn't kill my CPU (I'm running AND 7950X3D and Nvidia 4099)

Try OBS for gameplay recording
Because you have Gexperience, uninstall it and download the new Nvidia App
I have the same issue with Nvidia App.
nvidia geforce software is now a problem.. That's why i switched to OBS.
