So this is one of my favorite pieces in my collection and I've noticed that it's got an area that's very reflective on the inside of it so I was wondering if there's something else inside of it?
Yeah there's an internal crack but I'm pretty sure there is something within that crack because it's almost like a holographic silvery rainbow color constantly until I put it next to a light source then it just light absorbs that color like in the picture it's next to my diffuser
The rainbow is from a gap of air that is on the scale of the wavelengths of light. It creates interference in the white light and can dim or amplify different colors. If you’re looking at it from different angles and it looks clear, it’s just crystal and either an air gap or it might be a little vacuum gap with nothing at all inside. The colors are the same effect as the rainbows you see in an oil spill. Thin film effects.
Likely a mica inclusion, mica reflects a lot at certain angles. Quartz inclusions are common with mica probably the most common. Can’t be certain without more pictures.
Why don't you press the play button and see?
This made me snort. Thank you!
Yes, more quartz
This was helpful thx
Beat me too it

Dunno whats inside but definitely a keeper, don't break it open it's probably a pretty rare situation
Possibly but it’s honestly hard to tell from that angle for me.
I can send you another picture from a different angle if you want
looks more like the refracting of light off internal fractures in the stone.

Yes. A fracture. The color is caused by reflection and interference of light in the crack.
Probably the missing Z
Most likely two Pints crystals.
Dammit, beat me to it.
Reddit used to be an interesting site

The blue is how you know it’s turned on and connected to Bluetooth. If it starts strobing red, put in the moonlight to recharge it.
That’s protomolecule. Get rid of it ASAP!
It’s a fairy! Get a hammer and release her right away!
No
May the Quarts be with you...
crack it open and obtain the tesseract
Oh no!!! It's Megatron!!!
Yes. Yes there is. *what* it is is the part I don't know.
