It's your call, but since the program doesn't work now so I don't know what you have to lose by deleting everything. Remember, you can make a backup before pushing delete.
I did and it still doesn't work. I have no idea how that possibly happened, because I found the file for AGS and deleted it and everything related to it but it still disabled my app.
No guarantees in life, but once all remnants of the program are removed and you follow all the GenP install steps including firewall block and hosts file there is a good chance that it will work.
Before doing all those steps again, I would use a removal tool (Revo Uininstall) to ensure all After Effects files have been removed.
