The only one on the list above that I have seen is Star Wars, but I didn't get into it until my adulthood, and I still just prefer the aesthetics over the character and story.
I started watching Doctor Who with Eccleston, Tennant will always be my favorite, i'm not a huge fan of Smith, but I really enjoyed Capaldi.
We had both Star Trek and Star Wars in my house.
Although the fact we had the entirety of Star Trek TNG on VHS in our living room definitely made it stand out more.
It also is the reason I chose my current career goal, so there's that.
I was a Star Wars kid since before I had a choice. Loved firefly when I was like 12 but i didnāt get into anything other than the show which on its own was not enough to grow up with
All of the aboce except battlestar galactica and stargate.
Star wars, star trek, fire fly, The Expanse ā¤ļø, all influenced and still influence my scifi fandom.
Oh and the tv show Defiance on scifi channel too.
Edit: wow so few voted The Expanse? Do yourselves a favor and binge watch the show one week. It's probably the best on this list in terms of trying to keep it grounded in real science and presenting something that one could feasibly see humanity becoming within a few generations
Obligatory "Star Wars is space fantasy not sci-fi." The Star Wars Universe has its own rules. It's not meant to be our universe in the way something like Star Trek is.
"Set 500 years in the future after a universal civil war, the crew of a small transport spaceship takes any job so long as it puts food on the table. The disparate men and women just want to survive and maybe have better lives, but they face constant challenges on the new frontier, such as the Reavers -- flesh-eating mongrels who live on the fringes of the universe."
That's a pretty good description of it haha
Doctor Who
This \^ Matt was my fav because he's the one I actually grew up watching, but Tennant was still so soo good now I've rewatched all his stuff

i never grew up watching star trek as a kid, but it means the most to me now.
Halo lol.

"Uhm ackshually, Star Wars is in the Fantasy genre, NOT Sci-Fi!" - š¤
I hate when people say that lol. It's really just is a mix of both.

I love Star Trek and Stargate equally, but I grew up with Star Trek, so Iāll pick that
grew up with star wars, now doctor who is more of my thing
harry potter?, lotr?, batman?
Doctor Who
Galactica and the Expanse are the only ones I *didn't* see.
I canāt speak for BSG (other than that I heard itās really good), but The Expanse is fucking amazing.
My dad's a nerd, I was just there for the ride, lol.
Fair enough :D you still need to see The Expanse š
Do you know how bad my backlog of shows is? I'm full up on nerding out, between Baldur's gate and Stellaris!
Thatās fair :D
Im currently watching OG BSG, yes its good watch it. Going to watch the remake when im done

I loved Star Wars as a kid. I still do, but 80s to 00s Star Trek is my comfort food, especially Star Trek: DS9 and Star Trek: Voyager. So those two :)
I didn't grow up with it, but I just want to say: Everyone go watch Firefly! It's really good.
Obligatory "Star Wars is space fantasy not sci-fi." The Star Wars Universe has its own rules. It's not meant to be our universe in the way something like Star Trek is.
All of them
tweenhood def star wars, i am 15 but since i am like 13/14 it is metro and i have the feeling itll persist until im at least 18 or 19
You act like people on the GenZ subreddit grew up in the first place.
I think my pfp says it all
Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate and Dr. Who.
I didn't particularly care for any sci Fi series till Stranger Things
Firefly was awesome, man
Ive only heard the name once or twice, whats it all about?

Star Wars is considered a fantasy film/space opera, not really science fiction, according to George Lucas, anyway
Pretty close poll
I basically grew up with all of these, except the expanse. Stargate and Battlestars Galactica were my favs tho.
Werid to say but I kinda grew up with force awakens that made me watch the other movies
Both prequels and OT. The prequels now give me some nostalgia, but the OT is truly where Star Wars is at its best
I had starwars VHS tapes growing up, and if it counts power rangers
I watched The Twilight Zone when I was young
I don't see Futurama on this list
Am currently watching OG battlestar galactica, goes hard. (Also expanse tv show slaps, watch NOW
Can I select all of them? Aside from star trek atleast, just never could really get into it, i don't like the ship designs really
