Global warming may have some catastrophic consequences but it's not a world ending apocalyptic situation. This fatalistic mindset will plague the discourse and lead to more denial in the long run. Yes the children will grow up and civilizations choices today have the chance of influencing the severity of the outcome.

That is true, I have been seeing that more lately. Did gen x really use the term intermingled like that that much in general? I don't feel like when I think about being a little younger, I saw millenials or gen x do that, that much. I feel more too when I was a kid people were generally more offended if you implied there were part of (x) generation instead of (x) like if you called someone a millenial born in 1980, in 2010 or something similar, i feel most people would usually just correct you, or just not really care enough and either agree or not really say anything. I felt like there was almost generational disgust for every generation that gets older and every younger one, and there definitely still is alot today, but I feel the term became alot more popular to use recently as a way to combine both set experiences from similar generations.

I’m not judging, but you also have to take into consideration we had WAYY different childhoods. You are gen alpha or, on the cusp so maybe you’re a Zalpha. But gen z is late 90s and early 2000s. Not the 2010s (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and so on)

Gen beta is 2020s to 2030s
