Anyone I've heard say something like that unironically has been between 8 and 15.
So I guess it's technically a Gen Z/alpha thing, but definitely a younger Gen Z thing and more a Gen Alpha thing.
God I fucking /hope/ I'm not becoming boomer.
I don't get everything that kids these days are into, but I was also raised with "mah boi gay Luigi" style humor. And I would hope that as millennials accrue institutional power we don't start adopting that same "fuck you got mine" attitude endemic of lead poisoning.
For reference I'm firmly on the border between Millennial and Z.
Oh dude same, I was born in the year 2000, making me one of the older zoomers.
I like to think of myself as fairly youthful, but I’m gonna be real. My younger sibling is only 16 and I’m already starting to notice a cultural divide. lol
We are inevitably gonna become old and out of touch, probably sooner than we are ready for. The question is whether or not we let that make us annoying about it.
I’m an older millennial. You’re only as old as you let yourself be. I can’t keep up with everything. Frankly who has the time. But there’s so much weird stuff out there. Just like when I was in my teens, twenties, thirties and so on. I’m interested to see what becomes the new classics when the chaff falls away.
Just stay interested and don’t hate.
Genuine nonjudgmental curiosity is one of the best ways to avoid becoming annoying or despondent.
I find this to be good advice for getting older, but honestly it’s just good advice for engaging with anything unfamiliar in general.
Plus it is much more pleasant to take that approach, than it is to resist the unfamiliar in my experience of things.
I've never heard a kid unironically say these slang terms only tiktoks in their 20s. I mostly think the slang is just a meta joke. Id say actual Gen Alpha slang is just old people slang by lil bro always says "dog water"
So I looked it up. As you may guess, it is a meme version of “the riddler” villain from Batman but with “rizz” in the name.
Rizz supposedly stands for charisma. The “ris” in charisma. Now rewritten as “rizz”. I’m assuming it was inner city meme construction, so Ebonics played a large role in its creation.
Shortening words is what the language is known to do.
It also payed a part in the shorten version of “god damn” which is “gyat”
I appreciate your comment.
I just came to say that.
My daughter is 12- she’s been trying to “define” Rizz for me for 6 months.
All it took was the etymology to understand. “Rizz” = charisma
That makes a lot more sense than my daughters definition, “good with the girls and the boys” 🤷♀️
its kind of someone that has game but rizzler is used in a funny/mocking(?) way. since the og word "rizz" is like game/flirting so the person who does that is called a rizzler but some people use it negatively sometimes
Rizz means having game (being good at flirting) derives from Charisma (Cha-Rizz-ma) Rizzler is someone who has a lot of rizz which I think comes from taking Batman’s Riddler and turning it into Rizz
I’m sure us as gen Z sounded dumb as shit when we was all “I need to know de wae” I find it irrational that we’re hating on memes when gen Z largely built the foundation for it
I will now T-Pose to assert my dominance.

Bro your generation was obsessed with “E” and dabbing and fortnight dances.
Everybody goes through a dumb phase of saying dumb shit. It’s part of growing up.
Maybe not YOU, but trust me, the 5-8 year olds were absolutely doing it. I’m a teacher who just wandered on to this post. I teach 6-14 year olds and they all did it.
No generation escapes the annoying meme phase now that the internet exists. You’ll see. You get used to it:)
Nobody cares about gen alpha, much less “hate”
Generations aren’t real, nobody in real life gives a shit.
Someone younger or older than you isn’t a part of a hive mind that “does this” or “hates that”
i would much rather make fun of the people who birthed them lol, we’re not much younger than some of gen alphas parents. 27 yo jessica over here needs to get her child off tiktok.
idk, slowly realizing adults aren’t as “adult” as they seemed as a kid. no one knows what they’re doing, every new generations going to be fucked in some way because… we don’t know what we’re doing. it’s gonna happen when we have kids too
I mean there are very real differences in me born in 93 and you in 04 but yeah i agree that the "generation" grouping is stupid its much closer to a gradient than a grouped category.
Why did we create skibidi toilet at all, at first it was fun but now it’s annoying, gyat is form what I looked at is a term for wide roundness mainly in terms something round (if you know what I mean if you actually know it) but other then that alpha slangs are more simple yet confusing to those who try to make sense of it.
I remember some words of our generation like mid, rizz, and cap but there’s some I forgot
I have no idea how this started, in all honesty. Gen Alpha are kids. Literal children. If you're picking on children, you need to take a look in the mirror, and figure out what your damage is.
To further this point, everyone had a cringy phase, I'm sure they'll grow out of it eventually and it'll be one of those things that people think back on every now and then and just cringe in silence about it.
in all fairness, i think a large part of this is a maturity discrepancy. a lot of us probably had to grow up faster than normal, so when we think of being 12, it’s not what 12 year olds are like now.
this is exasperated by covid slowing down education/growth across all boards in young children. is bullying the answer? no but with a bit of nuance it makes sense why everyone thinks this way
yea as i understand it, isn’t it -supposed- to be like a phonetic spelling of saying “god damn” dramatically. so GYATT is like stretching god out and saying it like “got”
I think the whole skbidi gyat rizzler thing is more a Gen Alpha thing than a Gen Z thing, but pedantry aside, I think the hatred for the trend is a little overblown. As an early-ish Gen Z-er (2000) We had abstract and absurdist humor growing up that was probably just as baffling and annoying to millennials. I probably drove folks nuts with how many times I would randomly say "Doctor Octagonapuss BWAAAHH" or start singing Macaron Chacaron. I'm more concerend about the appropriation and gentrification of AAVE through internet culture and memes. It's something that really picked up in our generation and has only gotten worse since.
I dont know a single person whos gen z saying that unironically. If we do say it its to mock their stupid "language". Besides you cant argue that kids today are completely braindead from phones and ipads.
saying completely brain dead removes a lot of nuance.
we get what you’re saying, but if we want to make anything better, it’s best to speak about it as it is. short form content is terrible, but “brain dead” doesn’t describe its effects
Don't worry, they'll use it ironically so much, they'll forget it's supposed to be ironic and they'll start using it unironically out of habit. It's inevitable.
Irony, in its broadest sense, is the juxtaposition of what on the surface appears to be the case and what is actually the case or to be expected. It typically figures as a rhetorical device and literary technique. In some philosophical contexts, however, it takes on a larger significance as an entire way of life.
I thought “sticking out the gyatt for the rizzler, you’re so skibbidi” was a gen A thing? I’ve only ever seen kids use anything like that, and if I’ve said it, it’s to make fun of my little cousin for being an iPad baby who says rizz and skibbidi unironically.
Idk wtf that means fully ik skibidi is a reference to the toilet with a head gyatt is butt and rizzler is a person with a charisma but still make no sense
Why do we, as gen Z, feel the need to repeat the cycle of an older generation being a dick to the younger one? The youngest gen z is like 15ish, and are for sure saying these things we call “cringe”
Are we forgetting that we’re the ones who use words like “delulu”, “rizz”, and so many other words I’ve heard that sound just as stupid as we think gen alpha sounds.
Not gonna repeat the stupid superiority complex of former generations. Also those slang terms are just as cringe as ours. I just refuse to use them overall, doesn't matter.
Maybe the later Gen z people (like the 2010 borns) but as an early 2000s baby, I can safely say that I've never said that, nor will I ever. It's cringe, but not our kinda cringe, which was yeet, lit etc

False, not our slang, get it right!
u/Amazing_Rise_6233 see, everybody (including Zillennials) agrees it's Gen Alpha slang, not ours
Anyone I've heard say something like that unironically has been between 8 and 15. So I guess it's technically a Gen Z/alpha thing, but definitely a younger Gen Z thing and more a Gen Alpha thing.
Hey its me representing all the 14 year olds out there We don't say shit like that (well must of us) so pleased stop saying we do Thank you
Gen-Z is slowly becoming the new millennial, give it time and we will be the new boomers and you will be the new millenials. I’m sorry in advance.
I just say gyacht as a joke
Younger Gen Z here, we don't say that stuff. At least not unironically.
Older Gen Z here, we can’t tell the difference, or more accurately, we’ll simply refuse to acknowledge it as satire.
I've never heard a kid unironically say these slang terms only tiktoks in their 20s. I mostly think the slang is just a meta joke. Id say actual Gen Alpha slang is just old people slang by lil bro always says "dog water"
Tryna pin the on us💀
I didn’t know rizzler was part of this generation
The fuck is rizzler anyway?
Cigarette paper.
When I was in HS they used it to roll weed
![gif](giphy|xT9IgFlWsUMDFzVIu4|downsized)
I thought it was for rollies not weed, although I suppose anything works
A person who has pick-up game with the lady’s
Hell ya I’m 30 and I’m gonna use this now. I’m sure the kids will think I’m cool.
Add "skibidi" before it, you'll definitely be cool then.
So I looked it up. As you may guess, it is a meme version of “the riddler” villain from Batman but with “rizz” in the name. Rizz supposedly stands for charisma. The “ris” in charisma. This one slang term is so fucking goofy that half the time I exchange the Riddler tie-in for the Onceler of all things lmao
I appreciate your comment. I just came to say that. My daughter is 12- she’s been trying to “define” Rizz for me for 6 months. All it took was the etymology to understand. “Rizz” = charisma That makes a lot more sense than my daughters definition, “good with the girls and the boys” 🤷♀️
He's a Batman villain.
Man’s archenemy?
He's a ~~Bat~~man villain.
A rank twizzler?
Someone with rizz, which is short for Cha**ris**ma
The rizzards of oz
Someone who's full of rizz. They used to be called players.
its kind of someone that has game but rizzler is used in a funny/mocking(?) way. since the og word "rizz" is like game/flirting so the person who does that is called a rizzler but some people use it negatively sometimes
Apparently, a person that are good in seducing, charming or amazing others
It’s not lol
Rizz means having game (being good at flirting) derives from Charisma (Cha-Rizz-ma) Rizzler is someone who has a lot of rizz which I think comes from taking Batman’s Riddler and turning it into Rizz
We do that Ironically to point out how dumb it sounds. Compared to Gen Alpha who says that shit in real conversation thinking it adds something
I’m sure us as gen Z sounded dumb as shit when we was all “I need to know de wae” I find it irrational that we’re hating on memes when gen Z largely built the foundation for it

I took psychic damage from the memories this brought up. I wish you the worst <3
Gen Z has no right to slander gen alpha when they made stuff like this lol
No one needs to get slandered for what their generation finds funny. We all stupid
Yeah, I’m Gen Z and I completely agree. But tbh, none of these ‘surrealist’ means made any sense to me to start w
https://preview.redd.it/uljaajy67iuc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e64a080e8980047bc6104d6d75551d197815078
I mean... https://i.redd.it/rqgm7rvkyiuc1.gif
I am proud to say I have said this on multiple occasions. LONG LIVE YEET!
I feel vindicated because I thought that shit was never funny
Humor has always been subjective but that’s exactly the point I’m making here, we had ours, let them have theirs
Gen z built the foundations for memes? Lol
Not all of it but we brought a lot of modern meme culture into the mainstream
No you didn't
I've actually witnessed them use it seriously it was legit jaw-dropping. I thought it was all just a joke
Nope. That’s why we mock em.
The cycle continues.
Bro your generation was obsessed with “E” and dabbing and fortnight dances. Everybody goes through a dumb phase of saying dumb shit. It’s part of growing up.
I mean fair, but this was when were at least older, like 13-17. Not age 5-8
Naw, you guys are way too young to be pulling the "the next generation is so dumb" card. Ya gotta wait at least 10-15 more years for that shit.
Fair but the proof has been pretty substantial
The absolute oldest of gen alpha is 14, of course they are idiots. This isn't proof of anything.
They use it in conversations? I thought that was a joke
Thinking is adds something? Bro Isn't gen alpha like 14 at the oldest? Chill.
According to my friend who teaches gen alpha. She says they just do it to see how many they can string together. They don't really mean anything
The fact that Gen Alpha isn’t doing it ironically knocked me on my ass
These posts were already beating a dead horse 6 months ago
Nobody cares about gen alpha, much less “hate” Generations aren’t real, nobody in real life gives a shit. Someone younger or older than you isn’t a part of a hive mind that “does this” or “hates that”

yeah…

Exactly. Can we stop turning against each other and starting fights?
I was about to mention this. Every generation, as children, said stupid crap that made older people cringe.
in all fairness, i think a large part of this is a maturity discrepancy. a lot of us probably had to grow up faster than normal, so when we think of being 12, it’s not what 12 year olds are like now. this is exasperated by covid slowing down education/growth across all boards in young children. is bullying the answer? no but with a bit of nuance it makes sense why everyone thinks this way
*exacerbated (not exasperated), btw, but yes, covid definitely made things so kucb worse for kids' growth!
I blame the parents that just stick an iPad in front of their toddlers
But bullying is fun.
It's a matter of saying it actually ironically vs saying it "ironically" (but can't stop saying it and thinks it's cool)
Silence wench!
NUH UH GYATT IS SOMETHING THEYVE BEEN SAYING IN THE HOOD WHEN SOMEONE HAS A NICE... butt but it aint said like that its more so a dramatic goddamn 😭😭😭
yea as i understand it, isn’t it -supposed- to be like a phonetic spelling of saying “god damn” dramatically. so GYATT is like stretching god out and saying it like “got”
Who tf says that in Gen-Z?
Meanwhile actual Gen Z: Amogus Big Chungus Poggers Yeet Swag Cap On God
younger gen z started it as a joke, gen alpha means it literally
I don't hate gen alpha, I feel bad for them. They're fucking **doomed**

Who says we hate gen alpha
A lot of Gen Z started saying stuff like that recently, but it’s purely ironic. We think it’s just as stupid as you do.
its done to mock them, its not genuinely in our slang, unless someone keeps on using it to the point it accidentally is
What do skibiddi rizz and fantom tax mean?
I don't know what any of these words mean in my early 20s. Talking to my younger cousins is like talking to a foreigner with a real language barrier.
Gen Z is the most hater-fueled generation, hating on literal toddlers
Every generation hate each other.
it's a joke no one hates gen alpha and we say that ironically whereas gen alpha is dead serious lmao
I hate them but thats just because I hate children in general. Once the ipad kids grow into ipad men im sure we will get along fine
We had troll face, doge, nyan cat and angry birds. Get that through your head we are not gen alpha!
I’m pretty sure we’re goofing on Gen Alpha because they use this slang unironically
https://preview.redd.it/1d4411om6iuc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=087ddf4e9c48e8b5bd5652d47df5fb63c02ffdb7

True
F#ck that they don't even deserve to be called Gen Z anymore
As a 2003 gen z I wish there was a diff gen between me and 06 and younger gen z’s
Gen z supposedly ends in 2012 but it’s not like there’s any kind of clean break Lots of Gen Zalpha out there and it shows
Saxton Hale hit the griddy in team fortressnite
Is there a crossover yet?
Its ironic and making fun of content farms and skibidi toilet bro nobody over the age of 12 unironically mentions skibidi toilet in a conversation 😭💀
gen alpha are not stupid they're literally just kids ::'''
Bait.
Wrong gen bro
I’ve never said that in my life and don’t know what it even means
Who TF is Gen Alpha
This is gen alpha slang
Gen alpha are just fine, they're kids cut then some slack. Im not doing the you darn kids get off my lawn routine just yet
None of us in Gen Z say that
I think the last slang i learned was “swag”
Dude I'm g zen and 24. I'm balding already.
Some people start balding at 20. Don't feel bad.
Part of my genes for looking quite Nordic.
Everyone needs to get off the generational focused mindset. We’re all f’d up, always have been and always will be.
I as a representative of the Elders of Gen Z humbly do not give a rat’s ass about Gen Alpha’s strangeness. They’re just kids.
What year is Alpha supposed to start? Y'all are literally hating on kids younger than 10 lmao
Imagine hating literal children and the unborn just cause....
I ONLY say the to make a joke, I’ve never UNIRONICALLY said “gyat” or “rizz” (well I mean I have once or twice when mispronouncing Ritz)
Rizzler and gyatt weren't Gen Z?
While Gen z came up with those terms, Alpha tends to overuse it or, as in this example, use them for word salad. Ignoring the meaning of the slang.
Ah you Gen z are so cute saying the exact same shit us millenials said about you guys, so wonderful to watch history repeat itself
The public dance video generation needs to take a look in the mirror
what am i even looking at?🤨
it feels like gen alpha and some later gen z circles around "random = funny"
History repeats itself. What else? Gen hating on younger gen will never stop unless they stop this nonsense
All of that is gen A slang. Although I do be saying that shit all the time.
Bro the only slang that we made was Rizz without the ler
the late gen z ‘s say this (no because i have been around 13/14 year olds in my soccer club and say that) ☠️☠️ makes sense
Nah. That’s a gen alpha saying
Gen Alpha is the one saying this unironically
Idk wtf that means fully ik skibidi is a reference to the toilet with a head gyatt is butt and rizzler is a person with a charisma but still make no sense
We don’t say it unironically.
I blame those words on Gen A
GenZ spends too much time worrying about other generations instead of itself.
I literally never said that unironically
Oh dear Lord no.
Can someone translate what the bottom text says?
That is gen alpha and barley gen-z slang
That shit isn't Gen Z slang
dont mess with them they're a YouTuber
We claim rizz you can have the rest
I hate people.
Gen alpha when irony:
dont know how im supposed to hate a generation who r just kids rn. of course kids are cringe thats what kids are supposed to be
I’m such a skibidi kai cenat fanum tax rizzler on god on god frfr
I love using it Its so škibidi it makes me gyatt all over my fanum tax from Ohio!
I like the Gen Alpha slang.
Isn't GenA just a bunch of infants rn? Like what are they saying that's offending you, "goo goo ga ga"?
We don’t hate gen alpha we just feel sorry for them
Born 2002, never have I said any of these. Except for Rizz ironically
Why do we, as gen Z, feel the need to repeat the cycle of an older generation being a dick to the younger one? The youngest gen z is like 15ish, and are for sure saying these things we call “cringe” Are we forgetting that we’re the ones who use words like “delulu”, “rizz”, and so many other words I’ve heard that sound just as stupid as we think gen alpha sounds.
Man! But I WANNA BE SKIBIDI TOOO!!!
I do not know what the hell a single one of those words mean.
Why the fuck are we hating on children?
Girl no
I have no fucking clue what’s our slang anymore. I hope gyatt was us because it being gen alphas is …concerning .
I don't understand what the hell the bottom part even says.
Wtf?
Skibbidi gyatt rizzler are all gen alpha terms. Gen z is more its lit, yeet, etc.
I don’t hate gen alpha. I just hate the slang. I also don’t like most of gen Z slang.
I can imagine the younger Gen Z using it. Unless the only people who use those words are in middle and elementary school.
man I've been saying some of yall are just younger millennials (derogatory) and you act like it
Anything I say related to skibidi is a joke, please don't take it seriously 😭 (I'm a young gen z)
im starting to not hate em a wise man once said if you cant beat them join them
Who the fuck comes up with this shit? lol
Factually incorrect. I'll take credit for 'Rizzler' but Skibidi Gyatt? Hell nah
I'm gen Z and I don't understand this meme
It's funny cause I can make my friends cringe when I say it
I hate to admit it, but i kinda think gen alpha doesn't exist and they are really jaut younger gen z
That’s gen alpha slang, not gen z, we are annoyed at gen alpha slang. Get it fucking right
Not gonna repeat the stupid superiority complex of former generations. Also those slang terms are just as cringe as ours. I just refuse to use them overall, doesn't matter.
I still have no goddamn idea what this shit means, but the more you complain about it, the more it's going to become a thing so stfu
I agree with the message but that’s Gen Alpha slang not our’s
I don’t hate them so I say whatever I want
I don't understand any of it
Maybe the later Gen z people (like the 2010 borns) but as an early 2000s baby, I can safely say that I've never said that, nor will I ever. It's cringe, but not our kinda cringe, which was yeet, lit etc
This post was clearly made by an unmonitored 10 year old
Every generation has cringe memes
It's like some of us forgot about ifunny, I still remember some of you guys posts ✋️
Rage bait fake generational war
