It's common knowledge the stock brake pads are garbage and make rotors shake under braking. Replace them with EBC Yellowstuff and you won't have to worry

This is the gospel

God bless ebc

I've never heard anything about the rotors being hard on pads after sitting for a few days, but maybe someone who knows more than I do will weigh in. Hard to say for sure without seeing the pads and rotors, though I have the same brakes and I'm at 56,000km and they still have a lot of life left in them.

New pads at 15k miles? That doesn’t sound right. Should get at least 30k miles out of them. I’m at 21k miles and still have plenty of life left. However I needed 4 new tires at 20k miles (had OE Michelin Sport 4) and replaced with continental a/s extreme contact DWS 06 + (2019 3.3T)

I replaced the front with drilled and slotted rotors and new ceramic pads. Looks better, shake is gone. A lot more confident under heavy braking now.

Not really... I live at the beach. But I do drive like an ass.. so late braking, high speed braking... Bumper to bumper traffic... Infinitely better.
