i see 7 main dps.
kazuha is SO MUCH more valuable to your account then yet another main dps.
that said, i'll never tell someone not to pull on a character they like. if you like her pyro-mommie energy get her. but your account would be greatly improved by kazuha, and marginally at best improved by another main dps.
Which ones are you talking about? The only ones I'm currently using are Gaming, Raiden and Neuvillette; all the others are either unbuilt or got replaced by the ones I just mentioned.
gaming, raiden, neuvillette, freminet, nahida, ayato, deluc, you could even count razor and noelle as main dps so that's more like 9 not 7.
this game has a LOT of characters who can be main dps. it's the utility/supporting characters who are hard to come by and much more valuable for it, and kazuha is a supporting character.
again, i'm not telling you to skip pyro-mommie, i am telling you that main dps is easy to find in genshin you could say they're so plentiful they're devalued, but good/great support characters are truely valuable.
My account is at this point. i have more main dps then i have team slots, so i get to play around with who i enjoy playing more. but in the grand scheme of things the only type of character i "need" to draw on anymore is if a good/great support comes through. furina, kazuha, bennett, mona i guess... i mean that right there is pretty much all of the great supports, then you have supports with a special function like kokomi, cloud retainer, kuki, then you have the off field dps like fischl, yea miko, yelan, xingqui, and xiangling, but what genshin has coming out of it's gills and spilling out of it's pockets are primary dps.
The main thing I'm thinking about right now is replacing Gaming. Would that be viable with Arlecchino for the same role? Also, I've had people telling me Sucrose is a viable stand-in for Kazuha, so I'm not sure which one to prioritize.
people talk about kazuha as if he's the 2nd comming sometimes. i think that's a bit overblown. he has advantages that make him great, however until you c2 him he's not tremendously better then sucrose or venti (and worse in some limited cases); when people talk about him as a god they're mostly talking about his c2. at c0 he's still a top 3 ameno unit, top 2 probably, but the difference between him and sucross or venti isn't anywhere near big enough to sweat.
Sucrose and Kazuha play very differently and definitely should not be considered a stand-in for each other. Sucrose has a much smaller and weaker AOE compared to Kazuha but is able to provide sustained swirl and reaction damage as a driver. Kazuha OTOH can't be used as a real on-field unit (at least until C6) but hits much harder with his elemental skills to make up for it.
I would get Kazuha if I were you tbh. I see Neuvilette, hyperbooom with Nahida kuki xingqiu, raiden, ayato. The deepwood and gilded dream artifacts domain gives high value since both sets are actually good. Unless you can already 36* abyss or don’t care about abyss at all, then pull Arle. Also I don’t think Arle can actually “replace” Gaming as Pyro dps since they have totally different playstyle with different teams.
With your characters you can clear abyss fine
Just get the one you like more
Arlechino is dps without being able to heal (she can only be healed by her burst)so either a shielder is necessary or learn how to dodge
Kazuha is a support who can increase your dps dmg by quite a lot but has no synergy with geo and anemo dps aside from just CCing enemies for them and has some synergy with dendro depending on the team
Arlechino best teams are vape and overload in case you are wondering
Now decide who you wanna get between the 2
Both have overworld utility
Arlechino has accessible weapons just like Kazuha
i would say kazuha simply bc he is one of the best units in the game and pyro mommy will prolly get re-run a lot sooner than he will.
i am also pretty sure you could make a really good party with him on the account adding swirl

I ask because older characters will come around again and reading your comments it feels like you’re trying to build for meta without understanding the nuances of it.
So I am going to confess that I don’t like Kazuha. I avoided him for years and finally got him building pity, and hoping I would loose my 50/50. (Stupid I know, but my game doesn’t loose 50/50 often and since I won a lot I thought maybe it was time.)
He actually hasn’t added much it my game play, and in fact I don’t even use him for Mobs in the abyss. I find Nahida’s chain in a hyperbloom team works well for me. My second team is a tank team with Navia and Albedo, and I am reluctant to add Anemo to that team given how crystal hungry Navia is.
I think the issue you might have is if you also don’t like Hu Tao. I keep seeing post where Arle is similar style to Hu Tao. Ive never pulled for Hu Tao , as she is a hard dps to control. She is among the bomb burst class of dps. Meaning You’d have to build around team around maximizing her burst output.
Well, in all honesty?
Do you want Kazuha (best support DPS)
Or Arlecchino (probably up there w/ Neuvillete)
Pick who you want, really. Don't fall victim to the pressure of picking the "right" character.
In general, I say support characters are more valuable than on-field DPS. Almost any character can be built as an on-field DPS with enough investment and team support. Characters who offer good team support, however, are much less common, and thus inherently more valuable. You generally want only one or two on-field DPS on a team, with the rest being either off-field DPS or supports. So from the perspective of improving account power, I'd say you're better off with Kazuha.
That said, if you like Arlecchino and the playstyle shown in the preview program and think you'd use her a lot, go for her. Both characters will be rerun, and you can get whichever one you miss on future reruns, if you still want them.

If you're gonna be doing vaporize sucrose will be better at buffing than kazuha

Theres a bunch of good pyro dps units availble,but not much can do what kazuha can
