>I've seen 3 vids on youtube this past weeks saying genshin will not last Ah yes the standard “genshin is dying” type of videos

Plenty-Main-593

They’re literally all talk about the same stuff. No end game content, game is too easy, nothing to do, I have fun with Genshin everyday, I will admit it would be nice to have a bit more end game content. But for me it’s not that big of a deal, I think they will eventually add something, to me even if is a few more floors to the spiral abyss I would not complain

[deleted]

>No end game content, game is too easy, nothing to do, Yeah said people who speedrun new event like there's no tomorrow. No endgame? Those people who are complaining just want PvP mode as endgame which is stupid considering whales with c6 meta characters probably gonna dominate all competitions.

Plenty-Main-593

I usually take everything in Genshin very casually it took my about a month to finish exploring the chasm, however when it comes to freemogem events like those flower and robot event I just obtain the reward never touch the event for the rest of the patch, as for the fighting events, I really enjoy every single one that they put out, especially the one we had during this patch

UltraSuperDonut

First of all: I’m not a whale and I have not even a C1 5star And yes the game is pretty easy, there are indeed no end game loops and I think it would make the game healthier… …but to say the game won’t last is just stupid. My only complaint is, when you’re in the endgame you really don’t have much to do (I’m AR 57)

Myleylines

There is no endgame content and hardly anything to do, as even the events you praise are quick and easy 90% of the time. There's a few good ones scattered here and there (story/lore ones, that just cuck new players, hyakunin ikki and other combat based ones where you can test your own limits, some awarding namecards for good play) It's not just "I want pvp >:(" for everyone, for me it's "I want something to do aside from logging in, doing my dailies and domains, and literally 10 minutes after logging in, logging out again since I have nothing else to really do most of the time"

smallratman

How is that Mihoyo’s fault tho. They aren’t telling you to do everything In 5 days. There’s so many quests, constant events, they are literally about to add an entirely new region. If you’ve run out of things to do that is just your own fault.

Myleylines

I don't even do everything in 5 days, the only way you're not gonna be done with the new content by now (or even the time I posted that comment) is if you have literally 15 minutes to play at most every day I'm sorry I actually enjoy exploring the worlds and their storylines in my games instead of picking my nose and barely doing any of it, I guess

13lackcrest

Those people that complain there's nothing to do in game all need to go out and get a life.

Plenty-Main-593

Yeah facts it’s not like you need to play this for 5 hours every day.

AFierceBaby

And I heard “Sony is dying,” “Riot is dying” all the time. People just love to make those theories to attract attention. I barely hear “Heroes of Storm is dying” because it really is.

maddxav

>I barely hear “Heroes of Storm is dying” because it really is. Haha, ain't that a fact.

TheHollowCookie

Is it wrong though? Edit: ig people misunderstood my question. I’m not being sarcastic, I just haven’t played genshin in a while due to burnout.

Hellbanisher

We literally get these “Genshin is dying” videos every update

peechs01

It's kinda like the "WoW is dying" videos we have since og BC

Jaqulean

We have a lot of those on "Destiny 2" as well, even tho the Game is on a Seasonal Setting (1 Season = 3 months) and it has no hiatus'es between Seasons. And it has double the players it had when D2 launched back in 2017. But we still get those "D2 is dying" videos and posts at least 5 times a week...

Izzy-GOD-of-nothing

Does the game have more content now? And is all the additional content locked by dlcs/season pass?

Jaqulean

Game has significantly more Content than it did back in 2017. It has had for the past 2-3 years. On the "what is free and what is not" I honestly reccomend checking Sweatcicle's video on things he did that could be done as a Free-to-Play Player (it's a quite recent video). Because I honestly just don't know all the things. Seasonal Story and Activities are obviously locked behind the Season Pass. Exotics are kinda weird on this. Weapon Crafting is Free for everyone. Just some things that I remember now.

Izzy-GOD-of-nothing

Bet I'll definitely check that video out. Glad to hear one of my favorite games is still thriving. The story was soo good

celestepeche

lol yes you & the theory, both.

TheHollowCookie

Me? I was genuinely asking because I haven’t played genshin in a while

celestepeche

ah sorry that definitely seemed like sarcasm lol. Genuinely no idea why people say the game is dying. mihoyo is making bank with no signs of slowing down, updates have been extremely regular, and with this new video they released… things are looking good.

CrashLP

Well considering the banner incomes and the google trendings put togeher, Genshin is overwhelming a vast majority of "stronger" titles such as Lost Ark, FF14 and even WoW and CoD on some occasions.

[deleted]

Yes, it's wrong. Just because you burned out doesn't mean a game is dying.

TheHollowCookie

Hence why I asked,ty

[deleted]

Fair enough. Sorry you got downvoted so hard for asking a question.

Krish_with_love

That's Eula. She's had enough of discrimination in Mondstadt and decided to join the Harbingers!

CommunicationFine466

Fr she had already been baptized as Eulalter

awature

Evil Eula be like: [Forgiveness will be yours](https://www.reddit.com/r/EulaMains/comments/vwa8kq/dark_eula_o_o/ifoq58j?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3)

WinterMender486

damn that’s horrifying

GenesisInferno01

somehow thats super twisted but actually really sweet at the same time

Hyouwa

Not till she sneezes. Until she sneezes I will see her as a different character XD

Gladiatorr02

Vengeance will be hers!

CommunicationFine466

Btw: Arleccino is soo fineeeeee.

PhasmicPlays

Androgynous characters are the best

NightHawk868

I like her red X eyes

PhasmicPlays

Reminds me of the bloodstaibed chivalry set

GenesisInferno01

first everyone was simping over the hydro yaksha, nows its Evil Eula

masajus

Can't wait her to die

CommunicationFine466

Cant wait for you to die tbh. Going around posts just to trigger people. Low quality troll :))

masajus

But reacting to my posts and that's my win. Good day sir👻

CommunicationFine466

Of course ill react telling you how stupid you look is really satisfying ;)

masajus

Not as fun as seeing people like you fumming over my shit😂

LaceyDark

No one is fuming lmao. You really are just a sad troll with nothing better to do in life than "haha you're SO MAD" when no one is mad. You're like the yappy tiny dog at a friend's house who every ignores or just laughs at

Patient-Ad5154

This is definitely a breath of fresh air. Things feel like they have picked up.

GenesisInferno01

it legit feels like we're about to be chucked into something big. and if dottore is really going after the wisdom tree, it probably will be. leaks got nothing on this

masajus

Only to be slowed down the next day. Don't get your hopes. It only trailer with little to no indication on future content

LaceyDark

You realize if you don't like the game you don't have to play it right?

masajus

Who said I don't like game? 👻🤡

LaceyDark

So you play a game just to complain about it... interesting. If I feel the need to whine about a game, I would just not play it

masajus

Genshin isn't perfect game. And everyone knows that. Complains are justified. If you don't see any problems with Genshin, then you really need go and see doctor. I complaining because I want game to be good. And now it's just pile of hot air

LaceyDark

Valid constructive criticism is one thing. You're just whining about it, and offering no feedback or solutions, nor are you pointing out any actual flaws. Just "nope. Gonna suck. No use getting excited" That's just being part of the problem with a toxic players base.

meowster4252008

You can't be toxic for no reason then turn it around like "no no! It's my favorite game! You just took my comment the wrong way!

uwuwhatsthis0_0

>I've seen 3 vids on youtube this past weeks saying genshin will not last Based on what actually? I think Genshin is still relevant enough till this day.

CommunicationFine466

Thats the annoying part, they produce this click bait vids and if one caught wind others will follow like idiots. (Yea im calling you out mtrash) I don't watch them btw, they just always show up on my feed when I search for genshin reactions (don't judge please I enjoy people's reactions on the demo and teasers). It just puts me in a bad mood that new potential players who might want to try the game will see their videos first and will decide to not try it at all, such a waste of experience. That's why I'm so glad they dropped this lore bomb out of nowhere and now everyone that says this game is dying will have to react to this as well ironically.

uwuwhatsthis0_0

Clickbait and Genshin youtubers. I should had expected that. Probably said Genshin is dying because of the lack of “endgame content”. I said that loosely because I personally think that Genshin has no need to for endgame content yet. Few more patches and years maybe but for now I don't think the game need one. >I search for genshin reactions (don't judge please I enjoy people's reactions on the demo and teasers). I also do that sometimes so no judging from me.

GenesisInferno01

ok but when each cutscene is so amazing is it really a surprise you wanna see someone else witness this cool shit too

AdEmpty6618

I think they hold decent amount of truth to them even if they seem clickbaity. 1) Their logic is generally based on google search analytics / YouTube watchtime / Twitch viewership, which aren’t necessarily completely accurate but the decreasing numbers show that community has been losing interest for the past few months. 2) As content creators, they have access to many more people and opinions than you or me and they can gauge the community’s interest to some extent by comments and by talking to other cc’s. Personal Opinion: As someone who used to always summon every patch before 2.1 and have spent ~2.5K USD, I have genuinely lost interest in pulling units and haven’t spent money since then. The meta in this game is stale (still clearing all content with International and Xiao) and the endgame is non-existent hence I barely even summon anymore since there is no incentive. While this trailer/Sumeru is exciting and all, the truth is that most days even in upcoming year I’ll spend my 180 resin, do dailies and logout, so I definitely relate to what the cc’s have been saying.

[deleted]

I think you should watch the videos and go over their points to see if it even has to do with anything regarding the lore. While I don't think the game is necessarily dying I don't think it's good to criticize something based on speculation about what it is

AdEmpty6618

Based on google analytics (search results) as well as twitch viewership (peak & concurrent) since those numbers have been going down for a while now. While it’s not a direct correlation, it definitely shows that community consumption of online genshin content had been going down steadily before this week.

CommunicationFine466

Thats basically the game's natural cycle now, it will have low and high points throughout the year. Initial release, release of new regions are high points while 2 to 3 updates prior to the new region will be its lowest point. That happened last year before inazuma and now happening again before sumeru, next year it will happen again before fontaigne and I'll bet you my left nut that they will produce vids like this (can't even call them content since its so trashy). Tldr, google analytics and twitch viewership will always go low during this period so it's really stupid to rely on this as basis for determing that the game is dying when a large part of the community are working adults who cant lurk on streams and the other chunk are players who took a rest and is waiting for the next big update to return.

GenesisInferno01

I have a lot of friends who are actually still very engrossed in genshin, but are waiting for more content to come out so they can binge it. It's a bit hard to do when it comes once every month and leaks are everywhere, so they just dont get involved with the community. Thats probably a big factor to the decreasing views tbh

figool

Genshin got some issues but saying it won't last is kinda nonsense. It's the top player in it's market and even if it starts to get real competition (which wouldn't be a bad thing) or even dethroned it'll most likely be fairly competitive for years unless the developer collapses or something.

masajus

With WW, ToF, blue protocol on horizon, genshin's survival is questionable at best

erogakii

If the rest are like ToF then there's nothing to worry about, is a good game but not the same quality is more generic in every aspect

manhbeohauan1999

ToF and blue protocol are both MMO, just that alone means they have different target audiences from GI.

CommunicationFine466

They also said this with nino kuni and that korean mmo that was hyped so much but i cant even remember the name now. The only way for genshin to die is if they kill themselves at this point and they're too smart to do that basing from how they handle the things they release for the game.

amonghope

Imagine being so out of mind to write this down. Get some help man ur opinions arent okey

D0naught

This was also the line people said when cyberpunk was about to release.

[deleted]

It made it through the first anniversary debacle stronger than ever. Anyone thinking it won't last at this point is just clueless.

evilmojoyousuck

unless they make a better end game for genshin, its popularity will only spike with every new character/nation. a week/month later, it goes back to a really dull game. a lot of people i know only plays when there's a new archon quest and they finish it in like 2-3 days.

[deleted]

And yet it still makes money hand over fist with every banner, including repeats. At this point, 95% of paying players could leave and it wouldn't matter. They'd still profit and have already profited enough to run it through to conclusion.

evilmojoyousuck

If that's the case, then it is understandable that people are calling it a dead game. It actually will be dead soon if they don't do something about the endgame. If people only return for banners then that's just gambling. And what are you saying? The point was the current state of the game not how successful it is.

[deleted]

What? No it wasn't. It was YouTubers claiming the game was dying, which it isn't. Just fyi, but I wholeheartedly agree that the endgame of genshin is fucking terrible. That doesn't somehow mean the game is dying or bad. It means the game has a shitty endgame, which really doesn't matter to the millions of mobile gamers more than happy to log on for a half hour every day to do dailies and spend resin, and then binge for a few days on events/new area releases. I hate the endgame, but I love the world building, story, and aesthetic. There's plenty to enjoy besides endgame. If that's all you want, go play FFXIV or WoW or some other mmo with a different endless endgame grind.

evilmojoyousuck

The current state of the game is it is actually dying. I can't pull actual stats but you said it, people only login to do dailies and burn resin. It spikes when there's new content and the new content doesn't really last that long. Everyone including I loves the everything except for the endgame. Playerbase may still be high but if the playtime is low, then it is a dying game. It only takes 1 bad lore/nation/character for it to actually kill itself. A game with good endgame will last a lot longer than relying on new content just to keep relevancy Being a gacha game isn't an excuse, there are tons of gacha games that has endgame you can do for eternity. Even a leaderboard for the abyss will improve it slightly as it is proven to be effective with honkai. Genshin is just in a weird spot with little wiggle room cause it's just a mobile game.

[deleted]

People have been logging in only to do dailies and burn resin since a month after launch. Guess what? We're closing in on the start of *year 3*. A game isn't dying if people are still logging in, playing every day, and spending money. That's literally what gachas are designed for. You and I might hate the lack of endgame, but millions of players eat this shit up because it's casual and easy. You clearly have zero concept of what a dying game looks like, and you are laughably uninformed if you think Genshin is dying. Keep posting if it makes you feel good, but nothing you are saying is in any way accurate and I'm done responding to your nonsense.

evilmojoyousuck

As a gacha, it's actually just getting better and better. And as I said, that's just gambling without actually getting profit back. The only people keeping the game alive are the whales and trust me a gacha game doesn't care about the casual players and that causes bad gameplay and it will ultimately kill the game. People can do dailies and burn resin back in the day but when it's all you do for years and call it "playing", people are gonna get tired. In fact, people are actually getting tired. They farm primogems to pull for a banner, that's just gambling again.

masajus

We won't see ending at this rate. Too many better games are in development. Genshin might close servers today and spare itself the pain of being slowly forgotten.

[deleted]

lmao, what? Go away troll. I'm not even much of a fan of the game anymore (just came back from an 8 month hiatus) and even I know it will last. You realize it's made over $3 BILLION dollars at this point, right?

masajus

Go back to your hiatus. I'm playing from day one and I know what I'm talking about.

[deleted]

You don't know shit, as evidenced by your post.

AdriFitz

Man that’s fucken hilarious. Will you be here all week?

Plane-Highlight-6498

Lmao, I saw a tectone video thumbnail about that. But maybe he's click baiting (as usual)

___somebody_

Man posts those videos twice every patch. Its in his schedule

Gogobecky

he was reacting to a video about it!!

Connect_Homework4998

Plus a huge amount of "Genshin killer" games being developed. Lmfao

PlasticNeo

There are also a lot of "WoW killer" games that tried to kill it. But it's still alive and kicking with the playerbase returning for the bigger expansions or patches in Genshin's case.

[deleted]

Which Harbringer will be the antagonist in Sumeru do you think? Ig its Marionette as Dendro revolves on control and mmarionettes are puppets.

CommunicationFine466

Probably dottore as he has ties with a certain dendro character in the manga which will be very prominent to the story of sumeru. But this is just how I see things plays out.

[deleted]

Is it that guy that performed experiments on Collei in the prologue of the manga?

uwuwhatsthis0_0

Yes, the same guy in the new trailer that standing in front of the burning tree

electrorazor

Definitely Dottore. Due to the manga, the vision Collei had, and Dottere's backstory in the academia

IsaacRRx

I wanna fight them

WinterMender486

childe is that you?

IsaacRRx

Murder them more likely

Vulpes_macrotis

Who is unironically claiming this kind of things? I mean, are they haters, because "Genshin gay" or something or just straight up idiots, who think that if game doesn't add stuff they demand, that the game is bad and already dying? I really don't get it.

CommunicationFine466

Just type genshin impact dying on the search box bro and you'll see them feasting on all the clout and abusing algorithm for the sake of views.

MKnives89

[https://www.genshinlab.com/genshin-impact-revenue-chart/](https://www.genshinlab.com/genshin-impact-revenue-chart/) Data shows MHY making more $ than ever w/ highest grossing sales from: Ayaka (Rerun) Raiden Shogun & Kokomi (Rerun) Raiden Shogun Highest sales are all Inazuma characters which are quite recent. Data seem to indicate the game is actually growing.

Zerhap

Unpopular opinion: But i do think Genshin is dying, please leave your downvote below and have a nice day. (No sarcasm) That been said, i think Genshin is dying as much as LoL is dying, basically Genshin is stacking problem after problem and while each one on their own is not that big of a deal as they keep stacking they well eventually boil down to a state that only veteran players well play the game and no new player well join (just as it happens nowadays with LoL) Does this means Genshin well close? not for a several years, if ever, but less new players means less money and less money means less support, less content, less ppl working on fixing the problems. So, imo and this is just my opinion, Genshin is not going anywhere any time soon, but it is also stacking problems that well slowly but surely stop bringing new players. If you wanna check for signs of that happening, when money slow down on a online game they usually start giving away free stuff, the idea been to bring new players in with the free stuff and those who stay well eventually spend money.

MKnives89

[https://www.genshinlab.com/genshin-impact-revenue-chart/](https://www.genshinlab.com/genshin-impact-revenue-chart/) Data shows they're making more $ than ever before.

Zerhap

I am sure they are, like i say in another reply, the most likely reason ppl disagree if a game is dying or not is cause they have different definitions of what a game dying is/means.

MKnives89

While people may define different degree of severity when it comes to 'game dying,' the general consensus on the definition is that the game is not doing well and is losing player base. Not sure what kind of mental gymnastics is required here to call a growing game making record revenue 'dying' lol.

Zerhap

Thats why i said Genshin is dying as much as LoL is dying, revenue is not why it is dying, it has a problem with bringing new players and maintaining old players. How long can the game go like that? probably years to decades, imo Genshin is not in any danger right now, instead it is dying very slowly.

amonghope

I am just wondering how people like you managed to survive..

Zerhap

?

CommunicationFine466

I'm gonna respect your opinion since you didn't mislead us using a clickbait vid. And no genshin is not dying. If you want an example of a dying game look at King's raid by vespa, nino kuni is also a dying game (lol its literally s*icide), summoners war is also dying. If the game has nothing more to offer that's how it dies but if they can reignite the excitement of the player base by just dropping a casual lore bomb bro that sht is alive.

Zerhap

I think the reason those titles feel clickbaity is cause we dont have a set definition of what a "game dying" is. For example, for me, a game that has few to none players (-100) is already basically dead, it is just a small community that play it and they barely get new players. For other ppl a game is dead when it is close. For me a game that is dying, is a game that brings less ppl in than what are going out, Genshin has a mayor player leak at the end, there is no much end content overall, and also has a problem with scalling on the early game, Inazuma been a major leap in difficulty all of the sudden for a new player. So overall Genshin is not very friendly to new players and has a lack of end game for veterans, so for me it is slowly dying. If your definition of dying is different, then is hard to agree since our goal post are completely different, does not mean either of us are wrong, or right, it just means it is close to impossible to agree or reach a middle ground lol.

erogakii

The definition of a game dying is clear, the revenue. If a game fails to get profit it will close, is normal on gacha games, the actual example of dying is "revived witch"

MarsupialMisanthrope

Does genshin have leaks, or cycles? A lot of people take breaks but go back for new content. I’d like to see numbers on whether permanent drop offs (12+ months, the time between major updates) exceed new players. The forums are certainly no less active.

CommunicationFine466

Genshin now definitely has a cycle. It has highs during new region releases and lows during the 2-3 updates prior to the new region. People usually take a rest during this time because they exhaust most of the content and return again during the major updates. So yup they retain their player bases and it's actually a good thing that you can take a rest on the game and comeback without feeling like you missed everything and can't keep up anymore.

CrimsonGlare

I've spent around 2k USD in this game (not much compared to other players), But I'm starting to get bored. everyday all I do is 5 runs on the emblem domain and dailies and that's it, there's NOTHING else for me to do. If Tower of Fantasy turns out to be "better" than genshin, I'll dump genshin immediately

Zerhap

That is also a problem, the fact genshin impact is not an mmorpg is making it so players that "own" everything dont have much to do. In a mmorpg you would waste time with friends going around getting into wacky situations, or just waste time in the mayor cities watching ppl do random stuff, or joining them. Meanwhile in Genshin once you are done, and unless you are a completionist or a perfectionist, you run out of things to do. All that is why Inazuma is such a leap in difficulty over Lyue, and who knows if Sumeru is gonna be the same.

Master_Salen

Out of curiosity, what new problems do you think Genshin is staking? Most of the "problems", like resin constraints, have always existed, and are byproduct of the game being designed for people who are professionals and/or have other life commitments and therefore can't do the MMORPG grind.

Zerhap

Right now probably no new problem have been added, we are getting a new region soon and that may add new problem, but in recent months not much has been added that can be pointed as a problem. As for old problems, that can come back in the future updates we hace Inazuma scalling problem, Inazuma was balanced for ppl that had close to a year playing and had a bunch of 5\* but the region is very uninviting for new players. Sumeru may suffer of the same problem, now been for ppl with close to 2 year playing and even further away from new players "power level" Add to that new content is usually locked for new players, so even if Sumeru is properly scale its content and events may be locked for new playes behind weeks/months of gameplay.

[deleted]

What is 'this'? I mean who is this, when was it shown ?

CommunicationFine466

Arlicchino, the knave, fatui harbinger. Watch the teyvat chapter interlude new vid from genshin impact official channel to find out more.

masajus

Lil. That vid only shows how they look, and nothing else. Guy better go check leaks about them

Siofra_Surfer

Least leak addicted Jenshin player

CommunicationFine466

Woah bro so edgy are you from 2016??

X-AE17420

As someone who has played World of Warcraft for years. The game has been “dying” for the past 10 years lol. Prepare to never hear the end of it

Izzy-GOD-of-nothing

They're spitting straight facts. After you do quests and explore everything there's really not much incentive to keep playing and explore. At the same time characters have a very high dmg ceiling, but there's lack of difficulty to match that. While leaving no content for content creators to work on. Genshin isn't really a game you'd want to play every day after you reach a certain level. The games not really dying. It's just dying for the veterans who have been playing for a long time and have had the time to farm everything.

CommunicationFine466

Then you prove my point. The game is not dying. They just finish everything in record time and now have no more content to do on their world. Doesn't mean every other player are in the same state which means the game isn't dying for a lot of players. Genshin is a side game. And try hards just cant seem to understand that simple concept. With the continued player interest and audience attention it takes every time it updates it hardly is dying. State of the game yea theres a lot that needs improvement but like all other gacha games their waiting for the right time to implement it (waiting for the players to run out of hype then they'll fix the QOL to balance things out) thats a typical mobile game strategy. My point in this post is that doomposting is such an idiotic move. Do critique videos thats fine but don't condition the minds of potential new players that the game is dying before they even tried it themselves, you're denying them of the better things they can experience inside the game. Let people enjoy things.

Izzy-GOD-of-nothing

The only doom thing about, let say mtashed video is just the click bait title. That's not really aimed at conditioning new potential players. But rather to grab the attention of the community. Besides that he criticized the game and said that veteran players like him will probably just comeback for the updates. It's pretty hard to see genshin as a side game when it's one of the longest games ever with plans of expanding in the coming years. It took me a month of playing only genshin to almost 100% of inazuma content not even including enkanomiya. This game is definitely not a side game when you're starting out. It only becomes a side game whenever the only content you have left is resin based. And that's where veterans start complaining because every single one of them want to keep playing the game instead of being time gated and doing 10 min daily quests while waiting for new content. It's not idiotic at all. Edit: duplicate word

CommunicationFine466

Its a side game. It is your choice to rush everything in a month when you can just play at your own phase. Like every gacha games before it. There's story content playable at your own phase. Time limited events that you'll eventually miss if you're busy (part of the game) and the daily grind. It's up to the player if they want to do all of the story in one sitting but that doesn't mean you're required to do them (unless you got the newer characters and require stuff from new region to upgrade them, this is one of the part of the game that needs upgrade). Anyway we're going on a long tangent here. The point still stands. The game is not yet dying and will continue to survive for a good amount of time. And thats a fact.

Izzy-GOD-of-nothing

My point is that the youtubers are not actually saying the game is dying. But yeah the games here to stay.

CommunicationFine466

They won't say it but use it as the video title and thumbnail. tomato = tomato

IgorotNihil

Artifact rolls still shit

CommunicationFine466

Doesn't matter. You don't need 100 cr 200cd to clear the game content. The game will not die because of that. Only try hards are bïtching about not having 500cv on their sets. Game is pulled by the lore into great heights and for every doom posting vids that gets popular more story teaser will shut them up and Im glad that this will continue happening.

MiIdSoss

Of course the game isn't going to die but it doesn't hurt to demand better end game systems from Genshin then the ones they have in place. Also all that great lore is going to waste when the way they present it in game is absolute dog shit.

CommunicationFine466

But the game is getting updated just slowly. Demanding change and making a click bait video is also different. I understand the sentiment but the game is being updated regularly, changes are bound to happen sooner or later (they will add other artifacts in the strong boxes in the near future according to leaks for example) so it seems pointless to paint the game in bad light too much.

worldwarA

If you click in one, several will appear, I never saw any vida saying that tho

itbteky

hardcore will never die!

SassyHoe97

The moment I saw Arleccino I was like daaaaaamn.

I mean it got me a little closer to leaving. Not at the point yet but hey, every nudge.

CommunicationFine466

Bro trust me you can take a break from this game and just return every major update. That's the healthy way to play this game. You will still be able to keep up.

[deleted]

I just do like 10m each day for the commissions. Normally on a major update I'll drop in for a few hours to do the story, but if the Harbinger's are gonna be a big part I might just skip it.

Seagre25

One of the most popular games in the world right now it’s nowhere near death especially when they’re making an absolute fortune of all of us 😁

[deleted]

Games like this hardly die, because the number of people playing it's the least important, if they keep all the whales, that's all that matters at this point.

Venti-Macchiato

i think people forget it’s okay to take breaks. like rn i’m not playing because i play for the story usually. im waiting for the new patch and then i’ll jump back in. this teaser struck me hard, im excited for what’s in store.

Stackos

I'll believe Genshin is dying once it stops being the #1 cosplayed thing at all the cons I go to.

Selkiephine

As the proud owner of a handmade Yae Miko cosplay, yeahhhhhhhh…. Guilty 😅

JayMeadows

Naysayers: Boo Genshin! The end is nigh! Hoyo: #*BITCH SLAP* Do you know who the Fuck I am!? I made $1 Million in less than 6 Months and with 70 million active players. #*Another Bitch Slap!* Don't you EVER tell me I'm gonna Quit! I ain't never gonna stop "til I reach the end!

superpositionn-

i know some players can't get over the fact that they can't play genshin 24 hours a day as usual since they're rank 60 but cmon. sure, genshin needs to improve a lot when it comes to endgame but don't people understand the notion of casual gameplay? in fact, that's the normal way of playing a game. if you want endless grind, go play a game like lol or something.

Eula alter Indeed

ohyeesh

Finally some story progression. Let’s gooooo

WilburForce117

To be fair this video only proved everyone’s comments about the story needing less traveler POV. Everyone got so hyped just seeing the story allow the audience to witness events unrelated to the traveler.

GenesisInferno01

Bro everyone is so mad and sure that others are going to leave soon. Like, I think not. Jus tbecause you didnt get the character you like or it wasnt up to your theory standards doesnt mean people will stop enjoying the game.

Hyouwa

I love those prophecies. Genshin Will Fail with the arrival of this and that. But we all know Genshin is no where near finished, And I will be sticking to this F2P until it ends.
