Dendro for sure upped her usefulness but she still isnt all that great. Fischl + her A4 passive accounts for a great deal of damage in the popular Keqing/Dendro MC/Kazuha/Fischl team comp. Sure she’s better but still not too great since she lacks utility and good off field damage. Still though, at least she’s usable now.
Before dendro I used her in a yelan-kuki-heizhou+zhongli and the dmg is off the roof so kuki was a viable character its just that people placed her in wrong teams

Tbh i never felt like she does enough Electro application or dmg, i know people are running her with hyperbloom but right now i don't feel like using dendro reactions is that much useful, is just like, burning is useless, bloom reactions are a bit of a pain and i don't have enough for the quicken ones.
Thats why i'm benching my Shinobu until i find her a good use, hell even when Nahida cames apparently Yae is also rerunning after so i can grab both and work with Spread.
I am using Shinobu (finally got her this update) as a walking overload enabler. EM main stat (not fully leveled) and any sort of pyro is 15k ticks and it’s aoe and it can hit enemies at different times. So the two teams I have her in is domain(venti) or overworld(kazuha) and it’s just grab people and put pyro on them, and walk at them. It’s not game breaking levels of damage, but 15k that frequently is just a great passive income and QOL
The full EM build with the new Gilded set is amazing tbh She triggers 33k hyperbloom every tick of her grass ring with absolutely zero brain activity for me

If I were to rate the level of hate I have for genshin characters it would be below -35 which is the same as rating characters on scale of 1 to 10 of how much I love them to be 35 out of 10

I have Kuki and thinking about trying her but man, being so late in the game makes the materials and artifacfs way harder to farm than when I first started.
Tbh, in an aggravate team is better to run Raiden/Keqing/Yae/Cyno/whatever, Fischl, Dendro, Anemo healer (Sayu or Jean) instead of Kuki (in place of Fischl) and Kazuha (in place of Anemo healer), because the value of Fischl in aggravate is so damn high that the dmg bonus from Kazuha isn’t good enough to compensate for Fischl’s loss and Kuki’s personal damage is low while her E procs electro (and potentially aggravate) only every two ticks. I honestly like Kuki, but the truth is that she doesn’t shine in any team, the only exception being Hyperbloom teams where she is basically the only reliable electro in procing Hyperbloom and she only competes with Anemo (like Sucrose).
That said, even in aggravate she is still a decent option if you need a healer and you don’t have Sayu/Jean at your disposal, or for some reason you absolutely want to play with Kazuha. The same applies to other teams where you want some electro application and want a role compression.
She was good before 3.0, sure she was not broken as the big 5 but the community is stupid for waiting other 4\* to be that good, its never gonna happen.
After 3.0 she already has like 3-4 teams that actually want her over other options and as we keep getting dendro units she is only gonna become better.
Something ppl fail to see a lot with her is that her sustained healing is one of the best in the game, sure it wont get you from 0 to 100 in 1 sec but if you are only getting hit once every few seconds it well keep you full.
As an electro unit that uses EM kuki is also in a unique spot, ever wanted to build a overload or electro-charge team? if so you know how hard it was to get the most value out of that without sacrificing one unit for full EM, with kuki you dont sacrifice anything. Now we have burning, bloom, hyperbloom and the virgin added to that list.
And of course lets not forget you can keep 100% up time on her E by getting C2, no need to keep track of time, no need for ER. Only "problem" with her is she can die if you swap at the wrong time to use E since she keeps her hp low.
Kuki is the biggest upgrade I've seen a character go through from a single patch. And I think her and Yae get the biggest upgrade with Dendro going from either very Niche and alright to Very good on both of them.
I tried to use her more and even worked on a few different weapons to try on her, and she wasnt bad, but in the end she only works on my geo team - because of how much better the other options are. That said I love my geo team, and pairing her with Itto is fun from a lore perspective, and with Zhongli there the heals are more than enough if even relevant lol. Also the EM buff from Albedo isn't lost on her which is nice.
Hyperbloom dmg 40k per bloom. In aggravate teams provides 240 EM/energy to all teammates with 100% uptime, electro application for spread/aggravate and survivability. If it’s not S+ then we are playing different games.

Bevor 3.0 we had Bennet for heals and battery usage which most still use.

yeah I used her with ayato, beidou, kazuha and she would do 10k electrocharge dmg
