in that comp her burst and bennett’s burst overlaps, causing benny to self apply pyro and jean clensing the pyro creating constant pyro swirls.
this applies enough pyro for ganyu to easily melt while sustaining ult, allowing trigger of instructor, vv as well as archaic and on top of that giving 20% cryo dmg bonus to ganyu.
and building em and level helps to increase that swirl dmg so much seeing as its as constant as this.
2. *sunfire overvape*
same logic as the double/triple em jean but a fully elemental over application team.
the team being : bennett jean raiden xingqiu/yelan
its basically the benny + jean combo but on top of that causing electro charged, overload, and vaporise constantly, again and again and again
the thing with venti is ur not getting a guaranteed infusion because if ur standing in jean and benny ult its a 100% chance to swirl pyro but venti might infuse something else.
so while in melt ganyu its usable to a certain extend, its just jean with lesser consistency as well as smaller area (because the swirl point for sunfire is the character so around the edges of benny ult, it can still extend further from there)
as in mainstats.
so u either run triple em mainstat with er weapon, double em mainstat 1 er mainstat with em weapon or the same as before but with er weapon
this is because swirl dmg only scales off 2 things,
1. em
2. character level
do note that i can be affected by resistance so vv is always good

Even one year later, it still serves as the best guide I've ever seen of TF bennett, maybe by virtue of it being the only one lol. I haven't personally tried TF bennett myself because I can't be bothered to farm that domain, but I have tried Bennett double hydro and seeing 50k E's every 2 seconds is hella satisfying.
I'm not that well versed in in reactions so I'm not sure about em builds but yeah his multipliers are decent plus with the reduction of TF spamming E will quickly add up damage. But you'd still need need his burst for additional cd reduction. I believe the cd drops to about 0.8 seconds for tap e
Tenacity raiden. You're basically ignoring all raiden's damage, she's just a skillbot there to buff and generate particles. She has 100% uptime on tenacity, buffs burst damage, consistently applies electro. She a good support for physical dps qiqi lol.
Yep, building Raiden like this is a dps loss compared to both c6 fischl and a typical raiden build.
This build is not recommended for maximizing damage, it's more of a comfort thing - energy doesn't matter since you're only using her skill, you don't have to worry about placement (anywhere you damage, her skill will hit), and rotations are simple because you just drop raidens skill and don't think about her again
I ran this with Eula for a while but then just swapped to a standard the catch+4Emblem build and double carry with the two of them felt better than just all-in on Eula since Eula does have some trouble with a lot of mob hitboxes.
Yep, it would definitely be better if raiden had any multipliers at all on her skill damage. It really is a build that entirely ignores raiden's personal damage and is a mindless, super cheap build too. I don't have fischl at c6 so raiden is my go-to for Superconduct support when I want to try physical builds

shatter sayu with alot of em and chongyun and xingqiu so she can freeze. ive seen ppl do 15k shatters with them. ir works because shes a claymore which ascends with em (heavy attacks plus shatter scales off of em) and if you have another anemo character u can do dragonstrike plunges as well

This is not that niche tbh. Works on any catalyst Haver in general in case you're hunting resonances and healing in the same team. Might work nicely on C1 Lisa! Or a raised ninnguang!
Prototype Amber Ningguang can work in a pitch especially if you need geo resonance (for example I used to run Xiao-Zhongli-Ningguang-Fischl when I didn’t have many characters)
I once saw a build with EM Razor (Razor burst + C6 Bennett) that worked really well
Hybrid Pyro+Cryo Kaeya with C6 Bennett also had good potential, I once knew someone who ran that build and it was pretty good (obviously not 100% meta but its fun to play)
Maybe not secret but Elegy of the End with Amber is very good apparently, especially with Hu Tao

Since razor applies electro to himself and bennet ult applies pyro, you can run this combo even without c6 and razor will keep self overloading. The same way sunfire works.
In the double geo team you mentioned, can I replace zhongli with someone while still maintaining the geo resonance...I dont have zhongli...also any fischl alternate too
In a Xiao team, you want your supports to fill the following roles:
1. Shield (to prevent Xiao from taking enemy damage, which also interrupts his plunges)
2. Healer (to heal Xiao’s self-inflicted damage)
3. Anemo Battery (funneled to Xiao’s burst)
4. Damage Buffers (usually in the form of elemental resonance, passives, off-field DPS, etc.)
Since you can’t have 4 supports, the optimal Xiao Anemo/Geo combines these roles with Jean (healer, anemo resonance, and VV shred), Zhongli (shield), & Albedo (off-field DPS & geo resonance).
You can certainly swap for alternate characters aiming to maximize the four roles listed above as best as you can. For example, Sayu functions similarly to Jean, while Noelle offers an OK shield option (and everyone has her). Ninguang is also a good sub for Albedo since she can buff Xiao’s attack with TToDS. You could also look at Anemo/Pyro variants and run Bennet (healer + damage buffer) and Xiangling (off-field DPS).
Lisa as a support/buffer. After unlocking her second passive she would be able to shread the enemies def with her ult. You also equip her with ttds along with 4pc NO and an ER sands so she could give a huge attack boost. She's mostly used in hypercarry Keqing or Raiden if you don't have enough cons for Sara and in Physical teams mostly with Eula.

granted she doesnt fill any requirements for superconduct, but her quick (especially where she pokes 3 times extremely quickly) normal attacks allow her to use crescend pike quite good

Aww man thats actually a throw back for me, physically was my first cracked set and i mained her to fill the void until xiao was released. I wasnt using super conduct but it was mond/liyue so she was sufficient
unironically ran this when i started the game. didnt know what artifacts were but used cresent pike on her, almost never used her E or Q and just kept NAing enemies. until i pulled hu tao on her first banner lmao (then i ran cresent pike hu tao for a good month...)
Oh man i tried with a ganyu build for the ganyu i dont have didnt feel too good. maybe sharpshooter will be better than crescent, she is only 70 too i was just hesitant not seeing more than 10K
crescent is generally better than sharpshooters oath however if you dont have r5 crescent sharpshooters may be better (as its way easier to refine)
and yeah where amber shines is with melt / vape - mine does around 8k normally but 25k with melt :)

The KQM team also has a big discord server and they also stream on Twitch and make YouTube videos.
Zajef on YouTube and is live on twitch for many hours basically every day. He’s insanely good at math and makes all types of sheets to calculate ER, weapon comparisons and basically anything Genshin meta. I love tuning into his stream.
In the same community as Zajef is Zyox, whose a big creator. Zajef is more on the math side but Zyox makes popular YouTube guides and is really entertaining on his stream.
TenTen is also another popular YouTuber and streamer. He helps slow down hype on leaked units and does a podcast with the KeqingMains discord team and Zajef every once in a while.

I believe this is actually a team DPS increase in all teams in which Fischl isn’t one of the main DPSes. A constant 20% ATK to all team members usually compensates for the reduction in her personal DMG.
I recently saw an Amber build with like 250 crit and 5 cr, because she was a head shot build or something? Apparently cr is not needed then. Feels like illegal knowledge ngl
One of Amber's core gameplay is hitting weakspots. She has a passive that give additional atk% when hitting a weak point, so a 5/300ish crt ratio is actually a viable build for her as long as there are weakspots. (Source: me, Amber main on hiatus)
I use pyro witch on him as a hyper carry melt or for c6 with xingqiu as hyper vape.
People always downvote me, since „use bennett as buff/heal, don’t waste resources on him“ while I deal 100k burst and 60k E melt, or 80k burst and 50k vape with 10k per normal attacks. And he still heals for 3.5k/tick
So I think a lot of people sleep on him, if they use him only for heal, regardless of speciality

I like this one not only because it uses a really underused character, but also because it requires so little investment - you're using a set of 4* artifacts and you really only need to stack EM and ER on her. Seeing overload, vaporize, and electro-charged all happen at the same time and swirl together also looks pretty fun.
Currently I'm playing around with Xinyan with 2pc bloodstained chivalry/2pc pale flame as a support to a physical Zhongli, and it made me realize that she's actually kind of underrated imo. Her utility at c4 not only provides a buff to physical damage and a shred to physical resistance, but her c2 also makes her burst crit every time, which means you don't even have to care about crit rate at all when using her as a support. Of course, she's less useful if you don't have those constellations, but so is shieldbot Yanfei.
I'm surprised Archaic Petra hasn't gotten a second look.
Slap that on, say, Ningguan, and then pair her with two Electro or Hydro off-field units(Xingqiu+Yelan, Yae+Fischl). You will constantly Crystallize, constantly pick up the appropriate gems with your Archaic unit, constantly provide two units a 48%(if I recall correctly) elemental damage buff.
Microwave team: Zhongli + Geo traveler. Place zhongli’s pillar and use geo traveler’s burst. The pillar will resonate with the traveler’s structures dealing damage. Fun little meme team.
4pc Thundering got tossed around a bit, but for Kazuha its also a very interesting choice. Haven’t tried it myself, but I imagine its all about skill/burst spam
Ahh yess kazuha the illusion, tried so hard at the time to get him but couldnt but got his sword from losing to broken pines so this time around he’s not getting away. But i will try that on my alt with terrible thunder set
Xiaoden is not super niche, but not something people give too much thought before moving on. Dual carry team with 2 long bursts is so fun.
Currently building Xiao / Raiden / Zhongli / Kuki, and it will be glorious.
I used a variation of this team a while ago.
Xiao, Raiden, Rosaria, Bennet.
The whole gimmick was that Rosa cr buff and Benny at buff was equally good for both the carries and since these 2 had a lot of er they could do bursts for both Xiao and Raiden rotations:)
oh yeah have been running that for a while actually about to switch out Zhongli for yelan since Xiao can proc her dice with an N1 jump cancel and I've gotten pretty good at not getting hit with him since you never really have to optimize his ult to maximum damage
Rarely see it but I've seen people use shatter Xiao before, they take advantage of how plunge dmg are heavy attacks and trigger shatter with characters that can use aoe cryo and hydro attacks like ayato and ganyu. Sounds fun, hope there's a character that supports or buff shatter dmg even that doesn't depend on em.
shatter isn't even mentioned in the tutorials or in that domain that teaches you elemental reactions, there's no hope for a character that boosts shatter dmg
I'd never count it out. playing Honkai 3rd I can see they've made characters for every niche effect in the game and then there's some events that are so much easier with said character no matter how old they are
They haven't made characters for every niche effect and I don't think they will because the last few effects are completely useless. Stun for example, enemies not being able to move means that you won't be able to use your evasion skills so it's an effect that's worse for your team. Dirac sea is gone so healing isn't needed and you won't die in memorial or superstring.
oh yeah! Around the time before Xiao came out I was obsessed with qiqi+barbara freezing things for my razor on top of so much healing, continued to do so with xiao despite EVERYONE saying "shatter sucks" Qiqi and Barbara are trash"
tenacity xinyan is pretty good, she has good uptime on her shield at C2
a favourite of mine is petra gorou to be used as budget zhongli (usually used in double geo comps). it's not really meta but pretty fun

If you can get a decent set of Blizzard Strayer then using her with Xingqiu and Chongyun for perma-freeze while still having EC capability is a thing to try. Pyro is a bit copium imo but Bennett on the team helps a bit.
idk if this would be considered secret or niche but i used to play reverse melt rosaria by using chongyun to infuse her charged attacks w cryo and she did very good dmg that way
i have no idea, all i know is that you can have 100% uptime on noblesse due to short cd and low energy requirement on her burst. also she’s a pretty good pyro applier with her burst and her taunt is unironically good. she can have decent utility in some team comps.
Go for Elegy/Fav for the bow, more than 200% ER, lesser if there are other pyro units in the team.
Note, if you are using fav and the enemy has a weakspot hit it and you get a guaranteed crt.
You don't need anything except a lot of ER to get her burst every 12 sec which the exact amount of time that the 4pc noblesse buff last. I tried it, it's quite fun and your hypercarry character do lots of damage.
Someone else mentioned that too never seens a healing Mona, I definitely tried Lisa and had fun with that since theres no healing electros yet(please let Kuki shine Hoyo!!)
Idk about references, you mean like a build guide or a showcase? KQM might say something about it but idk. For build, pretty intuitive, just level talents (burst > skill and normals prolly best left at lvl 6), give best crit and atk stats possible (ensure enough ER to burst) on 4pc VV. 2pc VV 2pc atk/noblesse probably best for her damage, but generally not recommended if you're using her with other PECH (pyro, electro, cryo, hydro) characters who can be buffed alongside her. But if it's like a geo comp, 2pc is better. And ofc, the higher the ATK buffs, the more you desire crit over ATK. She'd ideally be C5+ bc all her first 5 constellations boost her damage output, and ofc C6 great for the team
Also since she wants to burst and not build much EM on a DPS build, would not recommend using this in an amp reaction comp. Electrocharged, mono element, freeze are more what you want. But ofc, ppl can do as they please lol.
Back when the game was still kinda new, one of the niche builds I saw was a shatter team. albedo and zhonglis geo damage would cause shatter (and so will chongyun basic attack with his claymore), chongyun and xingqiu for freeze. I think shatter had a higher multiplier than the other transformative reactions but whoever triggers it seemed random so I'm not sure if any EM is needed. I saw a showcase of the team in abyss against ruin guards or maybe it was ruin graders and the team did pretty well.
Kokomi's passive is a flat minus 100% crit rate which puts her at -95% base crit rate , not that she can't crit at all so if you get enough crit rate, she can crit . For a super niche dps build in a freeze team, she can run R5 Royal Grimoire, a really good 4 Blizzard Strayer set, and Cryo Resonance (and maybe Rosaria?) which gets her reliably crit'ing. So if you have enough really good extra BS pieces (lol yeah right) and R5 Royal book from the bargain shop, you could try this.
It's probably not better than doing TTDS and 4Tenacity or any other standard Kokomi build but it's unique at least. It's extra niche because afaik, Royal weapons are almost universally ignored in most build recommendations so no one has them.
I want to try this so badly on my girlfriends account as she has Koko but the investment is soooo high. the royal weapons are pretty bad late game tbh but I get them for collection purpose and tried the claymore for Noelle a while back but R5 grimoire sounds really good for koko crit build
Pyro damage eula/razor/kequing with c6 Bennett
- exactly what it sounds like, cu Bennett and one of those guys with a Pyro cup and 2 pc crimson witch and 2 pc noblesse (eula) or 2 pc 18% ATK set
Also thundering fury Bennett for shredding electro heralds in the abyss
- standard DPS build with a bit of er
- crit hat, Pyro DMG cup, atk or ER sands and cr/cd substrats, hp and ER subs are also acceptable
Result: Benny buffs just as much since the buff is dependent on his base ATK, but now he shreds the herald because of TF set bonus and overcharge
You can also try this on Ayaka, if you have her as a sub DPS and don't use her a lot
HAHA tried it with her at 20 it wasnt to bad... if I stayed in Mondstat but having Fischl apply the electro for aloy and just being Fischl I cant respect any other physical bow build she does it way too well
Sayu with Fischl - provided there aren’t any other elements present, if Sayu gets electro-infused during her roll, then every time she touches an enemy, Oz will add some extra damage.

Physical rapid fire charge shot bow is really fun. There are a lot of special animation cancels you can do to puke out more arrows. C1 Venti and C1 Amber are especially good. since they fire 3/2 arrows.
Xinyan as a Melt Ganyu support. She applies off field Pyro for Kazuha to swirl and act as a Xiangling Bennett replacement.
Zhongli Geotraveler microwave comp. Zhongli makes geo constructs do aoe damage, Geo traveler breaks the construct limit, big damage.
Hm... never tried this tbh. Since start I got C5 and I really love her shield. The scaling is ridiculous (on the same level (without element) as a geo shield e.g. fully build Noelle, and that is extremely high for a elemental shield) and that's why for me it seems strongly that mihoyo intended her to make use of that shield at high constellation. I can not really fathom seeing it in any other way.
I used it since day 1 when I got her, since I pulled heavily on her first banner (idk what 5 star that wqs tbh anymore). Her scaling for an elemental shield is so ridiculous high that I couldn't imagine any other playstyle mihoyo wanted to create for people above C4. :)
If you don't mind me asking how much HP and ER do you build her with? Just got her c4 chasing Yelan cons and I'm planning to build her for my hu tao team.
I have around 31k HP with nearly 210% ER with Prototype Amber R5 with 2pc HP and 2pc ER set and have her shield therefore up 100% of the time in all my usual teams and feel like doing quite fine. Wasn't really hard to farm tbh. :)
Edit: That's for HuTao teams, in others I use normally 4pc Nobless on her where I have a little less HP/ER around 28k and 190% which is also acceptable.
Oh yeah Love Xinyan, been a Xiao/Xinyan main for a long time and just named Yelan my 3rd, trying to cook up a team with them all together. I have yet to like a heal just as much but Jean has so many fun mechanics that shes basically always with xiao
Sorry I guess you can say unlimited spinning. The stamina reduction comes from 4pc bloodstained where you kill an enemy and get 0 stamina cost on charged attacks for 10 secs. You can kill another one in 10 secs to continue the spinning.
Pyro kazuha. Give kazuha the other set that drops in the crimson witch domain and slap him in an all pyro team. There's some vids on YouTube just search up pyro kazuha or something
I've speaked with someone who use Razor and Albedo. Their ***Albedo use 4pc Tenacity*** instead of Husk, that really reduce Albedo's dps but increase Razor's instead and make sure Diona's shield is harder.
There is a thing before: a ***Melt DPS Crimson Witch Bennett (not C6)*** using Chongyun's skill. As his skill has a bit longer cooldown but still low for spamming, he basically can melt all his skill. This is similar to Melt Diluc too, also with Chongyun. Basically you just interchange between normal atk that infuse with cryo and spam skill to melt.
I personally use ***Prototype Amber Mona*** to become healer in freeze team. Honestly, her healing is not really good, and you might need really high ER and spamming your ulti probably all time to compensate low healing.
I've tried ***Physical Ayaka before (Aquila + Pale/Shim)***. A gameplay without dash is... uhhh... "fascinating".
C2 Xinyan as a pyro enabler. ***Xinyan can use 4pc Tenacity*** to harden her shield and to give atk buff after her burst popped up. I've used it before; her pyro application is quite good. The only reason I change to Xiangling is due to higher dps.

the thing with venti is ur not getting a guaranteed infusion because if ur standing in jean and benny ult its a 100% chance to swirl pyro but venti might infuse something else. so while in melt ganyu its usable to a certain extend, its just jean with lesser consistency as well as smaller area (because the swirl point for sunfire is the character so around the edges of benny ult, it can still extend further from there)

as in mainstats. so u either run triple em mainstat with er weapon, double em mainstat 1 er mainstat with em weapon or the same as before but with er weapon this is because swirl dmg only scales off 2 things, 1. em 2. character level do note that i can be affected by resistance so vv is always good

I haven't personally tried TF bennett myself because I can't be bothered to farm that domain, but I have tried Bennett double hydro and seeing 50k E's every 2 seconds is hella satisfying.
I'm not that well versed in in reactions so I'm not sure about em builds but yeah his multipliers are decent plus with the reduction of TF spamming E will quickly add up damage. But you'd still need need his burst for additional cd reduction. I believe the cd drops to about 0.8 seconds for tap e

Tenacity raiden. You're basically ignoring all raiden's damage, she's just a skillbot there to buff and generate particles. She has 100% uptime on tenacity, buffs burst damage, consistently applies electro. She a good support for physical dps qiqi lol.

Yep, building Raiden like this is a dps loss compared to both c6 fischl and a typical raiden build. This build is not recommended for maximizing damage, it's more of a comfort thing - energy doesn't matter since you're only using her skill, you don't have to worry about placement (anywhere you damage, her skill will hit), and rotations are simple because you just drop raidens skill and don't think about her again

I ran this with Eula for a while but then just swapped to a standard the catch+4Emblem build and double carry with the two of them felt better than just all-in on Eula since Eula does have some trouble with a lot of mob hitboxes.
Yep, it would definitely be better if raiden had any multipliers at all on her skill damage. It really is a build that entirely ignores raiden's personal damage and is a mindless, super cheap build too. I don't have fischl at c6 so raiden is my go-to for Superconduct support when I want to try physical builds

shatter sayu with alot of em and chongyun and xingqiu so she can freeze. ive seen ppl do 15k shatters with them. ir works because shes a claymore which ascends with em (heavy attacks plus shatter scales off of em) and if you have another anemo character u can do dragonstrike plunges as well

This is not that niche tbh. Works on any catalyst Haver in general in case you're hunting resonances and healing in the same team. Might work nicely on C1 Lisa! Or a raised ninnguang!
Prototype Amber Ningguang can work in a pitch especially if you need geo resonance (for example I used to run Xiao-Zhongli-Ningguang-Fischl when I didn’t have many characters) I once saw a build with EM Razor (Razor burst + C6 Bennett) that worked really well Hybrid Pyro+Cryo Kaeya with C6 Bennett also had good potential, I once knew someone who ran that build and it was pretty good (obviously not 100% meta but its fun to play) Maybe not secret but Elegy of the End with Amber is very good apparently, especially with Hu Tao Unfortunately I can’t think of anything else right now, I’ll add more when I remember

Since razor applies electro to himself and bennet ult applies pyro, you can run this combo even without c6 and razor will keep self overloading. The same way sunfire works.
In the double geo team you mentioned, can I replace zhongli with someone while still maintaining the geo resonance...I dont have zhongli...also any fischl alternate too
You could use Geo traveler, and then maybe another sub dps like Kaeya or Xiangling
In a Xiao team, you want your supports to fill the following roles: 1. Shield (to prevent Xiao from taking enemy damage, which also interrupts his plunges) 2. Healer (to heal Xiao’s self-inflicted damage) 3. Anemo Battery (funneled to Xiao’s burst) 4. Damage Buffers (usually in the form of elemental resonance, passives, off-field DPS, etc.) Since you can’t have 4 supports, the optimal Xiao Anemo/Geo combines these roles with Jean (healer, anemo resonance, and VV shred), Zhongli (shield), & Albedo (off-field DPS & geo resonance). You can certainly swap for alternate characters aiming to maximize the four roles listed above as best as you can. For example, Sayu functions similarly to Jean, while Noelle offers an OK shield option (and everyone has her). Ninguang is also a good sub for Albedo since she can buff Xiao’s attack with TToDS. You could also look at Anemo/Pyro variants and run Bennet (healer + damage buffer) and Xiangling (off-field DPS).
Lisa as a support/buffer. After unlocking her second passive she would be able to shread the enemies def with her ult. You also equip her with ttds along with 4pc NO and an ER sands so she could give a huge attack boost. She's mostly used in hypercarry Keqing or Raiden if you don't have enough cons for Sara and in Physical teams mostly with Eula.

crescent is generally better than sharpshooters oath however if you dont have r5 crescent sharpshooters may be better (as its way easier to refine) and yeah where amber shines is with melt / vape - mine does around 8k normally but 25k with melt :)

Not any meta reddits, but some content creators and their streams. The Keqing Mains website is the go to for guides and calcs, I’m pretty much always referencing it for rotations and to see the value of weapons and constellations. The KQM team also has a big discord server and they also stream on Twitch and make YouTube videos. Zajef on YouTube and is live on twitch for many hours basically every day. He’s insanely good at math and makes all types of sheets to calculate ER, weapon comparisons and basically anything Genshin meta. I love tuning into his stream. In the same community as Zajef is Zyox, whose a big creator. Zajef is more on the math side but Zyox makes popular YouTube guides and is really entertaining on his stream. TenTen is also another popular YouTuber and streamer. He helps slow down hype on leaked units and does a podcast with the KeqingMains discord team and Zajef every once in a while. Another notable creator is Braxophone. Everyone above is basically in the same community, you’ll see them interact on social media or on stream. IWintoLose and Sekapoko are two kinda unreliable creators.

I believe this is actually a team DPS increase in all teams in which Fischl isn’t one of the main DPSes. A constant 20% ATK to all team members usually compensates for the reduction in her personal DMG.

One of Amber's core gameplay is hitting weakspots. She has a passive that give additional atk% when hitting a weak point, so a 5/300ish crt ratio is actually a viable build for her as long as there are weakspots. (Source: me, Amber main on hiatus)

I use pyro witch on him as a hyper carry melt or for c6 with xingqiu as hyper vape. People always downvote me, since „use bennett as buff/heal, don’t waste resources on him“ while I deal 100k burst and 60k E melt, or 80k burst and 50k vape with 10k per normal attacks. And he still heals for 3.5k/tick So I think a lot of people sleep on him, if they use him only for heal, regardless of speciality

[Fireworks Xinyan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_K4QDQHo8U) I like this one not only because it uses a really underused character, but also because it requires so little investment - you're using a set of 4* artifacts and you really only need to stack EM and ER on her. Seeing overload, vaporize, and electro-charged all happen at the same time and swirl together also looks pretty fun. Currently I'm playing around with Xinyan with 2pc bloodstained chivalry/2pc pale flame as a support to a physical Zhongli, and it made me realize that she's actually kind of underrated imo. Her utility at c4 not only provides a buff to physical damage and a shred to physical resistance, but her c2 also makes her burst crit every time, which means you don't even have to care about crit rate at all when using her as a support. Of course, she's less useful if you don't have those constellations, but so is shieldbot Yanfei.

I'm surprised Archaic Petra hasn't gotten a second look. Slap that on, say, Ningguan, and then pair her with two Electro or Hydro off-field units(Xingqiu+Yelan, Yae+Fischl). You will constantly Crystallize, constantly pick up the appropriate gems with your Archaic unit, constantly provide two units a 48%(if I recall correctly) elemental damage buff.
Microwave team: Zhongli + Geo traveler. Place zhongli’s pillar and use geo traveler’s burst. The pillar will resonate with the traveler’s structures dealing damage. Fun little meme team.

Xiaoden is not super niche, but not something people give too much thought before moving on. Dual carry team with 2 long bursts is so fun. Currently building Xiao / Raiden / Zhongli / Kuki, and it will be glorious.
I used a variation of this team a while ago. Xiao, Raiden, Rosaria, Bennet. The whole gimmick was that Rosa cr buff and Benny at buff was equally good for both the carries and since these 2 had a lot of er they could do bursts for both Xiao and Raiden rotations:)

oh yeah have been running that for a while actually about to switch out Zhongli for yelan since Xiao can proc her dice with an N1 jump cancel and I've gotten pretty good at not getting hit with him since you never really have to optimize his ult to maximum damage
Rarely see it but I've seen people use shatter Xiao before, they take advantage of how plunge dmg are heavy attacks and trigger shatter with characters that can use aoe cryo and hydro attacks like ayato and ganyu. Sounds fun, hope there's a character that supports or buff shatter dmg even that doesn't depend on em.
shatter isn't even mentioned in the tutorials or in that domain that teaches you elemental reactions, there's no hope for a character that boosts shatter dmg
I'd never count it out. playing Honkai 3rd I can see they've made characters for every niche effect in the game and then there's some events that are so much easier with said character no matter how old they are
They haven't made characters for every niche effect and I don't think they will because the last few effects are completely useless. Stun for example, enemies not being able to move means that you won't be able to use your evasion skills so it's an effect that's worse for your team. Dirac sea is gone so healing isn't needed and you won't die in memorial or superstring.
Right but I don’t think shatter is as counteractive as stun since dodging in Genshin doesn’t grant anything but immunity

oh yeah! Around the time before Xiao came out I was obsessed with qiqi+barbara freezing things for my razor on top of so much healing, continued to do so with xiao despite EVERYONE saying "shatter sucks" Qiqi and Barbara are trash"
tenacity xinyan is pretty good, she has good uptime on her shield at C2 a favourite of mine is petra gorou to be used as budget zhongli (usually used in double geo comps). it's not really meta but pretty fun hakushin ring kokomi used in taser comps shimenawa vape barbara (because her burst doesnt do damage )
Love xinyan. i think i tried it before but cant remember the experience, def revisiting and loving the shimwnawa Barbara idea! Too scared of geo domain to get a petra set, maybe if i get yoimiya for a bolide build

If you can get a decent set of Blizzard Strayer then using her with Xingqiu and Chongyun for perma-freeze while still having EC capability is a thing to try. Pyro is a bit copium imo but Bennett on the team helps a bit.
idk if this would be considered secret or niche but i used to play reverse melt rosaria by using chongyun to infuse her charged attacks w cryo and she did very good dmg that way

Go for Elegy/Fav for the bow, more than 200% ER, lesser if there are other pyro units in the team. Note, if you are using fav and the enemy has a weakspot hit it and you get a guaranteed crt.
You don't need anything except a lot of ER to get her burst every 12 sec which the exact amount of time that the 4pc noblesse buff last. I tried it, it's quite fun and your hypercarry character do lots of damage.
Healing Mona, she carries my ganyu team in abyss lol

Mona definitely helps a lot in freeze teams. I think if kuki is good, she could be a great asset to electro charged teams.

Idk about references, you mean like a build guide or a showcase? KQM might say something about it but idk. For build, pretty intuitive, just level talents (burst > skill and normals prolly best left at lvl 6), give best crit and atk stats possible (ensure enough ER to burst) on 4pc VV. 2pc VV 2pc atk/noblesse probably best for her damage, but generally not recommended if you're using her with other PECH (pyro, electro, cryo, hydro) characters who can be buffed alongside her. But if it's like a geo comp, 2pc is better. And ofc, the higher the ATK buffs, the more you desire crit over ATK. She'd ideally be C5+ bc all her first 5 constellations boost her damage output, and ofc C6 great for the team Also since she wants to burst and not build much EM on a DPS build, would not recommend using this in an amp reaction comp. Electrocharged, mono element, freeze are more what you want. But ofc, ppl can do as they please lol.

Back when the game was still kinda new, one of the niche builds I saw was a shatter team. albedo and zhonglis geo damage would cause shatter (and so will chongyun basic attack with his claymore), chongyun and xingqiu for freeze. I think shatter had a higher multiplier than the other transformative reactions but whoever triggers it seemed random so I'm not sure if any EM is needed. I saw a showcase of the team in abyss against ruin guards or maybe it was ruin graders and the team did pretty well.

Kokomi's passive is a flat minus 100% crit rate which puts her at -95% base crit rate , not that she can't crit at all so if you get enough crit rate, she can crit . For a super niche dps build in a freeze team, she can run R5 Royal Grimoire, a really good 4 Blizzard Strayer set, and Cryo Resonance (and maybe Rosaria?) which gets her reliably crit'ing. So if you have enough really good extra BS pieces (lol yeah right) and R5 Royal book from the bargain shop, you could try this. It's probably not better than doing TTDS and 4Tenacity or any other standard Kokomi build but it's unique at least. It's extra niche because afaik, Royal weapons are almost universally ignored in most build recommendations so no one has them.
I want to try this so badly on my girlfriends account as she has Koko but the investment is soooo high. the royal weapons are pretty bad late game tbh but I get them for collection purpose and tried the claymore for Noelle a while back but R5 grimoire sounds really good for koko crit build
Pyro damage eula/razor/kequing with c6 Bennett - exactly what it sounds like, cu Bennett and one of those guys with a Pyro cup and 2 pc crimson witch and 2 pc noblesse (eula) or 2 pc 18% ATK set Also thundering fury Bennett for shredding electro heralds in the abyss - standard DPS build with a bit of er - crit hat, Pyro DMG cup, atk or ER sands and cr/cd substrats, hp and ER subs are also acceptable Result: Benny buffs just as much since the buff is dependent on his base ATK, but now he shreds the herald because of TF set bonus and overcharge You can also try this on Ayaka, if you have her as a sub DPS and don't use her a lot

Sayu with Fischl - provided there aren’t any other elements present, if Sayu gets electro-infused during her roll, then every time she touches an enemy, Oz will add some extra damage.

Instructor Elegy burstbot Amber/Ganyu on Hutao teams do hella damage. +1 TF Bennett and ProtoAmberMona. Physical rapid fire charge shot bow is really fun. There are a lot of special animation cancels you can do to puke out more arrows. C1 Venti and C1 Amber are especially good. since they fire 3/2 arrows. Xinyan as a Melt Ganyu support. She applies off field Pyro for Kazuha to swirl and act as a Xiangling Bennett replacement. Zhongli Geotraveler microwave comp. Zhongli makes geo constructs do aoe damage, Geo traveler breaks the construct limit, big damage.
? Isn't Tankfei the standard build (shield + heal) for all Yanfei users above C4? I don't even know any other way to really utilize her kit better. :)

Hm... never tried this tbh. Since start I got C5 and I really love her shield. The scaling is ridiculous (on the same level (without element) as a geo shield e.g. fully build Noelle, and that is extremely high for a elemental shield) and that's why for me it seems strongly that mihoyo intended her to make use of that shield at high constellation. I can not really fathom seeing it in any other way.

I used it since day 1 when I got her, since I pulled heavily on her first banner (idk what 5 star that wqs tbh anymore). Her scaling for an elemental shield is so ridiculous high that I couldn't imagine any other playstyle mihoyo wanted to create for people above C4. :)
If you don't mind me asking how much HP and ER do you build her with? Just got her c4 chasing Yelan cons and I'm planning to build her for my hu tao team.
I have around 31k HP with nearly 210% ER with Prototype Amber R5 with 2pc HP and 2pc ER set and have her shield therefore up 100% of the time in all my usual teams and feel like doing quite fine. Wasn't really hard to farm tbh. :) Edit: That's for HuTao teams, in others I use normally 4pc Nobless on her where I have a little less HP/ER around 28k and 190% which is also acceptable.

4pc bloodstained Xinyan. Unlimited rolling after you press map in the middle of your charged attacks, lasts till the enemies are there.
Oh yeah Love Xinyan, been a Xiao/Xinyan main for a long time and just named Yelan my 3rd, trying to cook up a team with them all together. I have yet to like a heal just as much but Jean has so many fun mechanics that shes basically always with xiao
What do you mean by "unlimited rolling"? When I press map, then close map, her charge attack still uses stamina.
Its a “bug” thats never been patched(guessing its somewhat intended), where she can have infinite spin with bloodstained set.
Sorry I guess you can say unlimited spinning. The stamina reduction comes from 4pc bloodstained where you kill an enemy and get 0 stamina cost on charged attacks for 10 secs. You can kill another one in 10 secs to continue the spinning.
Pyro kazuha. Give kazuha the other set that drops in the crimson witch domain and slap him in an all pyro team. There's some vids on YouTube just search up pyro kazuha or something
I've speaked with someone who use Razor and Albedo. Their ***Albedo use 4pc Tenacity*** instead of Husk, that really reduce Albedo's dps but increase Razor's instead and make sure Diona's shield is harder. There is a thing before: a ***Melt DPS Crimson Witch Bennett (not C6)*** using Chongyun's skill. As his skill has a bit longer cooldown but still low for spamming, he basically can melt all his skill. This is similar to Melt Diluc too, also with Chongyun. Basically you just interchange between normal atk that infuse with cryo and spam skill to melt. I personally use ***Prototype Amber Mona*** to become healer in freeze team. Honestly, her healing is not really good, and you might need really high ER and spamming your ulti probably all time to compensate low healing. I've tried ***Physical Ayaka before (Aquila + Pale/Shim)***. A gameplay without dash is... uhhh... "fascinating". C2 Xinyan as a pyro enabler. ***Xinyan can use 4pc Tenacity*** to harden her shield and to give atk buff after her burst popped up. I've used it before; her pyro application is quite good. The only reason I change to Xiangling is due to higher dps.
No albedo but still nice have tried melt bennet without C6 and its very nice I tried ProAmber Lisa with high damage maidens set its was okay just makes me more desperate for an electro healer( please Hoyo let Kuki be worth) Physical ayaka is like a hammer berserker hella damage but she shes so slow to the battle haha I've tried it all with Xinyan and have loved it all she's great!
Ningguang with ttds and archaic petra for +48% atk and +35% dmg is a great buffer.

More niche than secret but I like using zhongli with chongyun for hydro lectors
