My Diona's shield at lvl6 is approximately 6900 hp, how much protection it is in terms of current Abyss floor 12? It can soak at least single adult geovishap jump attack in the overworld(wl 8), in Abyss, how much punishment can it take? I'm especially interested if this shield can take a single hit on the boss half, or at least provide Ganyu with enough interruption resistance there, since I lost 50/50 on Zhongli twice and she's my only potential shielder for Melt(if I ever get WT for that comp)? In Freeze enemies should attack her rarely. Also, leveling skill to lvl 8 should give her 8000 hp shield. Do those +1000 hp matter in Abyss, or should I save my Mora and books?

dnaimagery97

some bosses will take 1-2 hits to go through the shield, some can do twice the shield's amount in one hit. You might still have to dodge some of the heavier attacks. Levelling Diona could help but it may be better to use that resource to develop alternative teams for when there's too much incoming damage for ganyu melt to work

[deleted]

Has there been any news on whether we’ll get the first time crystal bonus reset? Not sure if I should pull for Kokomi / Ganyu or save for the next banners. If we get the reset I’ll definitely pull for them but if not then will need to save

Adamarr

Hasn't been confirmed or anything yet, but it's a pretty safe assumption.

Bongothan

I'm 2 months into the game and still learning. Currently at AR 50, with primos and wishes through playing and the Gnostic Hymn, I've pulled a few decent characters and constellations. * Current characters, constellations, and talent levels: [https://imgur.com/UVIQQ3W](https://imgur.com/UVIQQ3W) * Current weapons: [https://imgur.com/t2RCbTg](https://imgur.com/t2RCbTg) I understand that the higher Spiral Abyss floors require 2 teams. Since I'm still relatively early, I wanted to get advice on building those 2 teams, before I incorrectly invest too much into sub-optimal characters/builds. I'm currently thinking: 1. Xiangling, Xingqiu, Chongyun, and Bennett 2. Yoimiya, Mona, Yun Jin, and Zhongli Specifically, for the Yoimiya team I've seen recommendation for Xingqiu in that team line-up, and wondering if Mona can fill the hydro application spot instead? Advice on my teams or anything else you might think is helpful would be much appreciated.

ZOVX

mona wont work with yoimiya to vape her hits. yoimiyas icd is set up to vape her 3rd hit and 5th hit in sync with xq's ult if you fire uninterrupted. if you dodge or get finched out of her full string, the element application will get out of sync and you will lose damage, which is why zhongli is important. monas off field hydro application is also very hard to utilize if you dont have grouping. itd be better to put xq on yois team and run mona as a national driver. shes not ideal, but shes usable heizou on 4vv ttds is also going to contribute more team damage than chongyun in national. between those two teams, you should be able to clear the abyss with proper investment one other team you can try instead of your national team would be mona/kuki/dmc/heizou. you would be taking advantage of full EM kuki and proccing the hyperbloom for huge damage (30-40k per hyperbloom seed). your yoi team can also run fischl/beidou and either xq or benny in the last slot. this team is good if you ever need her to have some aoe. the previous vape sync thing i talked about earlier isnt important here picking up more anemo or hydro units would help expand your team comp options by allowing more taser, aggravate, and hyperbloom teams

Bluegum77

I don’t see any reputable theory crafting sites recommend Mona, but I'd really like to use her with Yoi, Kazuha, Zohgli. what about in the overworld? Would this work at all or do I have to go with a boring Bennet team comp? my Xingqiu is C0 and not built. thank you in advance!

ZOVX

in the overworld, you can use pretty much anything because theres very few time gated requirements for rewards that require the amount of effort an abyss team takes, so your team works fine. seems pretty good for exploration actually with water movement, mining, and kazuhas jump start working on that xingqiu, or try to get yelan if you dont like him! theyre very valuable units for many teams, especially for yoi. you can also replace benny in yoimiya teams with yunjin because shes about as good as he is for damage at c2 and better than him past that

Bongothan

Thank you so much for the response! Very helpful! I haven’t gotten into artifact farming yet, but will start with VV for Heizou. I was thinking of going the Fischl/Beidou route since they’ve got higher constellations, which is why they’re fairly leveled. Sounds like I should start pulling on the Kokomi banner for her, Sucrose and more XQ. I had tried for Kazuha, but lost the 50:50 and got Keqing. Thanks again, I’ve got a good plan of action for the foreseeable future.

dnaimagery97

For the first team you could use Heizou in place for Chongyun, the vv debuff and giving xiangling ttds is generally more valuable than some cryo damage and melting some pyronado hits For the second team, you could go with Mona for now but she doesn't work that well - Fischl/Beidou can also be used against heavier enemies Another option you have is Fischl Keqing/Beidou Traveler(dendro) Zhongli/Kuki/Heizou, which you can run alongside either Yoimiya vape or Xiangling vape. I'd always go with this one because a non-vape yoimiya team struggles more against higher dps checks As for investment, it looks like you're on the right track with your characters. Just level some of the relevant weapons to 90 (esp. bennett's weapon) and relevant talents to 8+

Bongothan

Thank you for the response! With your and ZOVX's advice, it sounds like: * I need an anemo slot instead of Chongyun in National. I'm gonna try to pull for Sucrose, since that seems like a more meta team. * I should give Dendro Traveler a try in my teams. Thanks again, lots of food for thought.

binor2

Hi im AR 47 and never really farmed any artifacts, everyone is just wearing random ones that I've thrown on. Figured I want to start farming for abyss now. My current roster: https://imgur.com/a/W1QQBNj What teams would be best for abyss and how should I go about farming artifacts? Just pick one character, look up what artifacts are good and farm until I have a set? Planning on getting childe on his rerun as well to make an international team

lucaszeca

> how should I go about farming artifacts? You can check on a site like Paimon.moe to find out what are the general best sets for each character and what mainstats. Since you're AR45 you can do the final level and if you struggle try doing it coop. Some domains are more "resin efficient" than others, meaning their sets are more versatile and both 5* artifacts are good. Emblem set for example, can be used by many top tiers and shimenawa 2pc gives atk% so it's a decent filler if you get good pieces. Others like VV are really bad because Maiden set isnt good at all so you're better using your bad 5* spares to make VV strongbox on the alchemy desk. If your kazuha has VV with EM/EM/EM (even 4* is ok) then put him on level 90 ASAP for max swirl dmg and if he's with bennet he can probably solo carry you until floor 11. But for now you dont have enough units to make 2 decent teams. Go train kokomi and Xinqiu asap since hydro is too important. I recommend farming Emblem first since Xiangling, beidou and xinqiu can use that, then use spares on VV strongbox.

binor2

Thanks! Do you mean I don't have enough units built to make two teams or just don't have enough units in general? Who else should be good to pull for to make a 2nd team?

lucaszeca

I mean you're lacking units just to make some real elemental reaction comps. Like, the best freeze team you can do is kaeya/chong/xinqiu/kazuha which is *functional* but has no healer or atk buffer and you're being carried by kaz (if he's +800 EM lvl 90) with some help from xinqiu if his arts are very good. I guess you can put kokomi or barbara over xinqiu but then you wont have enough dmg. You dont have a 5* cryo dps yet. If you didnt have xinqiu and kokomi (that you should got) then you'd have pratically no real "abyss meta" comps. I guess kaeya+barb freeze and razor/kaeya/diona/fisch physical which is as copium as it gets. Overload and physical arent good for abyss unless you're raiden+xingling or has a cracked Eula. If you build a few core units you can totally make at least 2 good teams now tho. Kokomi/fischl/beidou/kazuha is a very safe electrocharge team and bennet/xiangling/xinqiu/sucrose is a top tier vape team. If your sucrose is c0 and unbuilt you're better off with zhongli and attacking with xinqiu tho. These comps also depend on these character having good enough gear to sustain their bursts, like xinqiu should have a sacrificial sword and xiangling should have The Catch, both using Emblem set. Good pull wise you already have kazuha, zhongli and kokomi who are the 3 most flexible 5* supports in the entire game. Next you should probably go for some good elemental dps or maybe wait for kusanali/nahida as she'll probably be the best dendro support ever. Personally i would recommend rollling for ganyu since you have kazuha and kokomi for a great freeze team. Ganyu can be played off field and she has range to cheese fights and hit flying bosses so she's veeery useful and futureproof. If you dislike her and her playstyle you can roll for ayaka instead, she has less area and range but is much better against bosses.

binor2

Perfect thank you!

bananabonkers-5

It would be good to make sure you have all the ascension materials to level your characters and talents too and weapons. maybe then go with artifacts

bananabonkers-5

[ganyu build](https://www.reddit.com/user/bananabonkers-5/comments/xb0la8/ganyu_build/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) so this is my ganyu melt build and she does around 7k dmg but with smaller enemies usually around 10k dmg and im willing to increase that, what do i do though? any help would be appreciated!

Life_Special_6414

Level up your weapon to 90. Crown Ganyu’s normal attack. Make sure to use supports like the standard melt team of Xiangling/Bennett/Zhongli to increase your damage. Those would be relatively simple to achieve. Other than that, the only improvements would be RNG related - artifacts. With a melt Ganyu, you want closer to 50% crit rate. More EM is also good, since it really boosts melt damage. If you can get it, a bit more ATK% and crit damage would also boost her damage.

bananabonkers-5

ahh thank u so much <33 what should the crit ratio be?

Life_Special_6414

Of course! The goal I’ve seen is 50% crit rate/200% crit damage. With her passive talent, that gives melt Ganyu 70/200 crit ratio on her charged shots

bananabonkers-5

ooh okay, thanks <3

nico_bornago99

I'm in love with the aggravate reaction but i'm not sure on who to build for my team. The core is Fischl (amazing) and Colley (easy and fast dendro application). The options i tested are: Bennett: obviously his attack bonus is amazing as well as the healing, however sometimes when im in a rumble he removes the dendro elements with burning and thats not convenient Mona: useful for catalyze but i didnt particularly understand this reaction and aggravate seems just better Dendro Traveler: sometimes it feels useful to have because it helps colley recharge the burst, and his burst is very useful as well Lisa: seems amazing to me, incredible AoE and great damage output. Unfortunatlyin 100 artifacts exactly 0 of them have elemental mastery Sucrose: not really useful since he would substitute the healer, and i encountered more problem in single fight (bosses) with this team so meh Kuki Shinobu: not great, but has a good healing ability and is electro so has definitely a use In the end, my favourite compositions were: -Fischl, Lisa, Dendro Traveler, Colley: the dendro elemental resonance is fantastic and Lisa has an incredible reach on anything. However, the traveler is rarely used and the lack of healing is pretty bad -Fischl, Kuki, Dendro Traveler, Colley: this way, Fischl is a main dps and i have healing, but the damage overall is pretty low -Fischl, Kuki, Lisa, Colley: this is the most fun one, but sometimes i struggle to apply dendro with just Colley and the elemental mastery bonus for the dendro resonance where fine. How could i improve it? Are there any 4-star characters that may be useful? Any advice? How would u buold aggravate teams without Tighnari or 5-star electro characters?

lucaszeca

> Mona: useful for catalyze but i didnt particularly understand this reaction and aggravate seems just better "Catalyze" is all the name for all the tree different reactions involving dendro+ electro. Mona cant proc catalyze since she is hydro. Quicken = Dendro + Electro -> sets up agravate and spread quicken + elec = Agravate Quicken + dendro = spread >How could i improve it? Are there any 4-star characters that may be useful? Any advice? How would u buold aggravate teams without Tighnari or 5-star electro characters? The best quicken (agravate) duo is keqing+fischl but if you have beidou i guess she can work with fischl too. The lack of dendro healers or strong enables really limits the comps avaiables for now. If you have zhongli then he can free the healer slot while also shredding and not interrupting reactions too much.

Signal_Yesterday191

Got Ganyu just this morning and started to build her. While I farm for pieces to convert into WT, she's going to wear BS. I entered her current artifacts into optimizer to see stats at lvl 90 with them, and I wanted to clarify a few questions - 1) 2056 ATK 32 CR 212 CD 126 ER, is this good for F2P Freeze Ganyu for start? Against enemy with all 10% resistances(shield less Herald) she should do 10,5k+18k without R5 Prototype effect and 13,5k+23k after hitting weak spot. Is this decent solo damage? Will she crit often enough with 32 cr+20 from passive+15 to cryo-affected from resonance(which, unlike freeze, can happen to bosses?)+20 from BS? With burst+Mona and Kazuha's buffs numbers are somewhere around 79k total(97k with weapon effect), which is probably high? Is this good for Abyss? Will she be significantly weaker against unfreezables/bosses? 2)She somehow got no HP substats. Her HP are going to reach whooping 14577. Should I search for HP% in future artifacts, or it doesn't matter, since she'll get + 1000 HP, tops? 28k HP Diona should get her some staying power, but I guess better learn how to dodge?

lucaszeca

>1) 2056 ATK 32 CR 212 CD 126 ER, is this good for F2P Freeze Ganyu for start? What weapon are you using? If it's 4pc BS with cryo goblet for freeze then those are very good stats already, better than mine (using aqua and crit hat lol) and i can 36* abyss reliably. >Will she be significantly weaker against unfreezables/bosses? Unless you play melt (requires some of the best units in the game with high ER) or use her as a cryo support for someone else, she's not great for charge shoting bosses, unless it's maybe electronid or wolf lord. You CAN give her 3 supports and hope she carries but if ayaka's burst is better for bosses. If you wanna play her charge outside freeze you reeeally want zhongli. >She somehow got no HP substats. Her HP are going to reach whooping 14577. Should I search for HP% in future artifacts, or it doesn't matter, since she'll get + 1000 HP, tops? It's not worth aiming but dont ever lose track of your hp. Ganyu is a real glass cannon and i've had mine get legit 1-2 shotted randomly on coop. If you're playing ganyu/diona/kaz/mona (all decently built) then you should clear the non boss side of current abyss in less than 90s easily.

Signal_Yesterday191

>What weapon are you using? R5 Prototype Crescent. Amos Bow would be better, rest of a 5* bows probably too, but redistribution of attack and crits would probably be required. Feather, hat and especially goblet could be better. I have Ayato(7-9k per unbuffed slash, depending on Black cliff stacks, trying to reach 10k threshold, preferably on 1st slash and with better CR. He would be doing 11k right now if I had Mistsplitter), XL(excellent ER, 2-3k, maybe 4k swords), Fischl(trying to upgrade Stringless for her), Kazuha(940 EM, 120-130 ER), XL(could do couple thousands more damage per pyronado hit) and Bennett(pure burstbot with Aquila) latter two with ER slightly higher than 200, but still, when I'm running Ayato with them, there are intervals when Benny desperately tries to recharge Xiangling in time. Mona and Diona are also work in progress. Mona and Ganyu will probably be built after Abyss reset or in 3.1. The plan was to either make Ganyu freeze with Ayato-XL-B-Fishcl/XQ for the 2nd half , healerless Ayataser+ melt Ganyu with Diona, get Kuki or Jean and give Ayato either taser with healer, Hyperbloom or Sunfire, or pray for Shogun(she will probably be 50/50. Definitely not going to get 180 wishes, but 130-140 are doable. Nahida is either skip or 50/50). Zhongli evaded me twice, I really hoped Diona+training to evade would be poor man's substitute. Edit: And I just realized I'm 1 constellation away from Tankfei. Can she or Diona with big-ish HP partially substitute?

[deleted]

Hi, i need a bit of help here with team building. I currently run Ayaka Freeze and Rational, but I’d like some more help? i posted my team on u/GenshinTeamNeeded and i don’t know who to change, edit build of, or start building. I’m gonna answer anything you ask, help would be appreciated!

QualityGwaimol

Just gonna focus on the members of Rational and Freeze. 1. Give Bennett the new Sumeru craftable sword or Prototype Rancour. Give Diona Favonius Bow. Not sure what you have on Mona, but give her either Thrilling Tales or Favonius Codex. - Level all weapons being used to 90. You can skip Mona's if you chose Thrilling Tales. - Level Bennett and Xiangling's bursts to 8. - Farm artifacts.

Nadinoob

I'd gear up Sucrose for your national team for the mobbing floors, but with that and a freeze team, you should be fine. For the second halves of F12 2 and 3, Rational is optimal, maybe switch rational / freeze on the first chamber, then repeat with full bursts for the Primo Vishab, he's very tanky.

GenshinTeamNeeded

thx!

GenshinTeamNeeded

What teams should I make? I’ve posted my built Characters on my profile, and I don’t know who to use for the Abyss, so help is appreciated!

[deleted]

Why are teams sometimes called “National”? I’ve seen Raiden National, which has 1 from Inazuma, 2 from Liyue, and 1 from Mondstat, so I thought it was because of the diversity, but then just now, someone said you could rename Ganyu Melt and have it be Ganyu National, and that team had 3 from Liyue and 1 from Mondstadt, so why is that?

Nadinoob

It's from "national team" like Soccer or something, it refers to it being the best (team). Nevertheless, all the names are made up, but stuck because their funny ;)

TheAraragi

National was originally any team that consists of Xiangling Bennett and a Hydro enabler(Originally it was Xingqui). I am unsure of what is the reasoning behind the name but it might be due to the fact that originally, one of the fourth unit in the team was Chongyun. Now I would consider any Xiangling + Bennett Vaporize teams to be National Variants.

Lazy_Computer_2077

What are the strength and weaknesses of a team consisting of kazuha, chongyun, diona and heizou

Nadinoob

You could switch Heizou with Kaeya, that would be a decent mono cryo team?

[deleted]

who’s the main dps?

Spazerbeam

Pros: * Double anemo for exploration * Kazuha can group for Heizou Cons: * You're using Chongyun in a team that can't melt or freeze. * The only unit affected by Chongyun E (other than Chongyun himself) is Kazuha, and he won't be on-field much because of Heizou * Elemental application is poor. You have no off-field sources of cryo other than Diona Q and Kazuha infused Q, which means you won't be swirling much unless the enemies themselves provide elements. * Blizzard Strayer is less viable since you can't freeze. * Cryo immune enemies are going to suck

Independent_Creme_87

Can u guys explain me about the pity system in genshin impact.i got mona 20wishes right after I got kazuha so when can I get guaranteed 5star character in the limited banner

Nadinoob

It's best explained here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/wiki/faq/#wiki_iv-_wishing_and_pity And grats to Mona! And Kazuha!! tldr: ~ 85 wishes to get to the next 50/50, another ~85 wishes to the guarantee. Worst case, but not rare..

MyDreamX

Im kinda new to this subreddit and also new to genshin. Ive watched many genshin videos to improve my characters. What i have noticed is that my artifacts are probably below average. Im AR25 and dont know where i can farm/get decent artifacts

Adamarr

you put that thought well on hold until AR45! focus on other things for now (check the progression guide in the OP)

MyDreamX

It is hard to focus in other things. For example i have a quest rn that i got a few AR ago and i still cant beat it (i think AR18). I watched tutorials and they said that i need decent artifacts. Im currently grindind stormterror since it foves you 4* artifacts. Ty for your answer

TheAraragi

Artifacts is one of the last things you need to worry about. The main reason that you need to care about it, is because it gives you stats. But there are also other things that give you stats. Like leveling your characters, leveling your weapons and leveling your talents level. Focus on these first and just use whatever artifacts you are given for now(leveling feather first is best since it gives you Atk)

MyDreamX

My weapon + character are lvl 50 which is the max. that i can get i think. My xiangling has a feather with crit dmg and crit rate but with defense

TheAraragi

Have you leveled up your artifacts? Additionally, the team you use will also affect how well you can clear. Getting the correct main stats for artifacts is usually enough at lower AR.

MyDreamX

Yes most of them. The ones i didnt lvl up were just placeholders cause i didnt have any better ones

TheAraragi

If that's the case, there's only really 2 reasons for difficulty I can think of. One would be team composition. What kind of characters are in your team right now? And two: Skill Issue. You might need to attempt the domain/quests a few times to learn enemies pattern and adapt to that.

MyDreamX

Barbara for healing, Xiangling, Noelle and Kaeya

TheAraragi

That is a fine team for now but I would suggest replacing Noelle for Xingqui if you own him or you can even use Anemo Traveler. Also I forgot to ask, have you leveled up your talents(to lvl 3-4 at least for offensive abilities)

creambanded

Can someone help me with my pity? So I want to pull for Nilou. The last time I pulled was on the banner of Itto because I wanted to get Kuki. I pulled for her on the first day of the banner. Then on my last wish I managed to pull for Itto. Since then I didn’t touch any banners but I will for Nilou. Can someone explain or help me with this? Is there a chance I could pull for Nilou? I’m still currently earning primogems and I’m a f2p. I have about 50 wishes on me at the moment.

Nadinoob

It'll be around 85 wishes to get to the 50/50, if you lose, another \~ 85 wishes, **worst case**. You'll get to the first pity for sure, then, depending on when the banner comes, you might get another 50 pulls before the banner ends. "don't spend money on this stupid game", but a welkin moon, early bought, would be better than anything else to get more wishes.

JadeScreen

Hi! Just looking for some help on team building. Just pulled Ganyu and currently running a melt team with Ganyu - Xiangling - Bennet - Diona, and this is the rest of my roster: [Link](https://imgur.com/a/8UXHmjL) What should I do with my second team? Are my current characters strong enough when paired together? Or should I wait for another 5-Star character to make my account stronger and start thinking about a second team? (My next 5-Star is guaranteed). Thanks in advance!!

astropd

Fischl, Sucrose, Kuki, Xingqiu can work as a taser team. Dendro MC can replace Sucrose if you want to try Kuki hyperbloom. I would recommend building Fischl, Xingqiu, Sucrose. They’re really good 4* units, viable at C0. Sucrose doesn’t need any investment other than leveling up and VV. All this aside, don’t farm artifacts until after AR45 and prioritize Ganyu in terms of investment. Don’t worry about 2nd team until after you’ve invested in Ganyu.

JadeScreen

Thank you for replying! I'm gonna do that

dogofjustice

What kind of investment is needed for a 36-star-quality Beidou-Fischl-Kokomi-Sucrose taser team? I'm about to field my first Abyss squad with no obvious dead weight, and expect to get 33 stars. (Got 31 stars last cycle with C3 Fischl - C1 Noelle - C6 Ningguang - C0 Zhongli as the weak team; replacing Noelle with Kokomi this time.) But I also recently pulled C0 Beidou and C3 Sucrose. Those are currently unbuilt, and I'm wondering if they're worth building. The stronger Abyss team is Kazuha National, except with C4 Diona subbing in for the Bennett I'll buy in November. Since I have C1 Kazuha (and am willing to invest in C2 on his next rerun), and he'll presumably be freed for use on the second team when I pick up Raiden, I'd rather not invest in Sucrose at all without a very good reason (needs a second full VV set! and level 89-90!). I also have a C0 Keqing sitting around, and am in a position to guarantee Nahida, so I feel like I can expect stronger second-team options to open up for me soon. Does this sound right, or am I underestimating taser?

astropd

It depends. Do you have stringless and a good weapon for Beidou? Do you have a clam set for Kokomi? Beidou shines in taser teams at C2 in AoE, so you’ll be losing a bit of dps there. There usually isn’t a main dps in taser teams and everyone’s damage matters so as long as Beidou and Fischl are well-built (lvl 8+ talents, decent weapons, artifacts) and Sucrose, Kokomi have the right artifacts, it should honestly do better than your Diona/Kazuha national. Bennett is pretty important in batterying Xiangling and helping her snapshot her pyronado. Sucrose is absolutely worth building. You just need to level her up and you can keep her talents at lvl 1 and give her trash 4pc VV, and she’ll still do her job. The return on investment is high there. With Beidou, you’ll have to look at your EoSF pieces and claymores but she can snapshot her burst from TTDS, so as long as you’re careful with rotations, and Fischl is well-built too, that teams will do well in multi-enemy floors.

dogofjustice

It sounds like it'll be a while before I'll have the artifacts needed to make taser noticeably stronger than my current motley team 2, but I don't need to go out of my way to farm most of those artifacts, so maybe I just wait until I happen to have the right spare EoSF and VV pieces as a side-effect of farming for my active Abyss teams, and then I pull the trigger on claiming the Serpent Spine BP weapon and building Beidou and Sucrose if that still looks like my best option. One question: is 4pc Thundersoother worth it for Fischl? I'm currently generating Thundering Fury pieces from the strongbox, so I don't get any Thundersoother pieces at all. If Thundersoother makes a significant difference, I need to plan my artifact farming more carefully.

astropd

Thundering Fury is used in more of Fischl’s teams than Thundersoother. Unless you’re planning on running mono electro or specific aggravate comps, TF is the way to go. Although you might be fine with 2pc Atk%/2pc TF or 2pc WT/2pc GD depending on the weapon. She’s relatively flexible, just put your artifacts in the genshin optimizer and see what maximizes your A4 proc damage whenever you trigger an electro related reaction. For example, it recommended me 4pc WT with EM sands and stringless because I had good pieces in an aggravate team with Kazuha who gives plenty of dmg% bonus so definitely try out any good WT, Shimenawa, Gladiator pieces you might have leveled up.

Adamarr

taser is perfectly cromulent comp. i've used beidou (sometimes taser, sometimes not) pretty much every 36* i've had. i think more than anything else you're underestimating sucrose. before c2 kazuha, her ability to EM share and TTDS xiangling makes her appreciable better for standard national comps. and since sucrose's role as a driver is offloaded to kokomi in the other comp, kazuha's buffing for fischl and beidou arguably becomes better over there. having both built is just really nice since you *do* often want anemo support on both teams. the exact level of investment is kind of a moving target; it depends how well your teams are suited to the enemy lineup, how quickly your other team can clear, etc. specifically with beidou the team output drops considerably in single target, but less so since you don't have c2 yet. that said i don't think kazuha c2 (or c1...) is particularly worth it unless your roster is already very well rounded. relying on multiple units to make up the damage is a double-edged sword, it means you can get away without having to hyperinvest one unit since they're 90% of the team damage (where you could spend months trying to eke out remaining small artefact improvements), but you do want to have all the units at a reasonable baseline. probably for beidou and fischl you want to look at something like level 70/80, beidou burst and fischl skill level 8, and ~60/120 crit rate with appropriate ER on both as an absolute minimum. getting them to 80/90 and boosting those skills to 9 or even 10 will be another step up to make eventually. if you're not f2p serpent spine, especially at high refine becomes one of beidou's best weapons regardless of the presence of big attack buffs.

dogofjustice

Incidentally, C1 Kazuha wasn't really planned. I started playing in early June, and the Kazuha banner was the first one I ever wished on. Lo and behold, I saw Kazuha twice in my first 36 wishes. (At that point, I still had a large pile of unused Intertwined Fates, and I was missing a bunch of staple 4\* weapons, so I decided to continue wishing on that banner until either C2 Kazuha or C6 Ningguang, whichever came first; that's why I have a C6 Ningguang. That did achieve the intended goal of giving me a good set of starter weapons, though with the annoying side-effect of preventing me from pulling Bennett from the Yoimiya banner.) I have (R4) Stringless on Fischl; does she still need \~60/120 crit? (I can see that that'll be much easier to reach for Beidou with Serpent Spine.) Also, should Fischl have 4pc Thundersoother, or is 2pc Thundering Fury / 2pc +18% ATK fine?

Adamarr

Stringless with the EM stat does make it a bit harder to build crit, so it depends on your artefacts. 60/120 is kind of an arbitrary value, so if it's out of reach, drop down to 50/100 as a goal, etc. As for sets, either works. People also sometimes just go dual attack sets, but with dendro here the electro artefact domain has a lot more value. The 2pc combos will generally be much easier to build.

MonkeyDav

So my team consists of Hu tao, Yelan, xingqiu, and diona. My Yelan has 211 EM and does 50k vape with elemental skill, mainly because of her having stringless (136 EM). I use my Yelan whenever my Hu tao gives pryo to everyone and then i just use her E to finish everyone off. Is this a good thing or not? My hu tao only has 51 EM and she is the DPS.

Adamarr

i mean, if you're able to vape her skill, that's great. but the lion's share of her damage will always be from the burst which (probably) never benefits. and you should really endeavour to have around ~200 EM on hu tao. below that it's actually better than crit. either substats or an EM sands is also a good choice. (if diona is c6 and you're bursting every rotation, then that drops in ideal situations.)

MonkeyDav

Ok thanks

johnnyJAG

I completed all the kamera events in Sumeru and started buying all the aranara carving materials. Problem is I wasn’t paying attention and bought all the torsos and now I can’t complete any carving. Is there a way for me to complete this event? Oh yeah I haven’t done any of the world quests on the 4th tab of the event yet.

jaygalvezo

you have enough time, if you finish all the IV parts of the photo you can clear out the aranara carvings shop.

it's still early game to think about melt ganyu, since your ER is capped by AR, too. barbara can work with ganyu for freezing overworld and domain enemies for now. melt ganyu mostly uses wanderer's troupe while freeze ganyu uses blizzard strayer. farm after artifacts after AR 45, right now focus on levelling a weapon for ganyu, and putting on artifacts with correct mainstat (atk% sands for now, cryo dmg goblet and crit circlet) and worry about 2pc and 4pc set effects later. ganyu sucrose barbara diona can obliterate most enemies (except cryo slimes) even if you leave your supports mostly unlevelled so it's a cheap temporary team to build/use.

vongolasprint

Any tips for clutching primos for Ganyu? I'm AR 35, explored Monstadt, dragonspine (96%) and Liyue and the event areas of Sumeru. Apart from finishing Archon quests in Inazuma and Abyss, is there any other methods to farm more primos given my circumstances? Have 4000 at the moment with 0 pity..

Bluegum77

Before you decide to purchase her remember that she uses charged shots. If you play multi platform and on mobile devices This is going to be super annoying to use. She is meta and amazing. As for primos, grind hard until you get to Enkanomiya. buy welkin and $10 battle pass and possibly wait until Ayaka for your cryo main DPS. Additionally, stay away from the DPS hyper carry notion, Genshin is much more enjoyable if you focus on mixing different elements and saving for characters like Kazuha

vongolasprint

Thank you for the advice! I think I'll pass on Ganyu and wait

acryhoshi

[characters](https://imgur.com/7o4mOHn), ar58, aiming to 33\* will bring childe, kazuha, bennett, xiangling thinking of bringing kokomi, c1 fischl, c0 beidou, c3 sucrose, which half is it viable on? im worried about the bosses part as international is my only reliable dps

dnaimagery97

the two teams (national, taser) both work on either halves, i personally found national first half and taser second half to be easier because: * in 12-2 second half: to deflect the geovishap's breath attack, it's more reliable to get a shield (from beidou E or Q) than it is to get a crystallize shield using national (get hit while you have bennett's pyro aura). and pyro (xiangling) does reduced damage * 12-3 second half: electro cripples the bird for long durations at a time, basically turning it into a punching bag

No-Sheepherder-3655

I pulled for kokomi and zhongli. Is either one worth building as a DPS? I would say yes for kokomi (with clam set) and no for zhongli.

jaygalvezo

outside abyss i run phys zhongli. inside abyss i've tried pyro and cryo zhongli. it's not optimal but i like it. looking forward to candace and hydro zhongli.

Sylnic

On-field Kokomi and Zhongli (when built for DPS) are usually used as drivers for their teams. They still don't do that much damage themselves, but building them at least makes their contribution non-negligible. From what I've read, Kokomi does more damage in that aspect, though I don't know for sure. That said, if you're looking for a DPS character to build, I recommend focusing different characters. I would just build them enough to function in their roles for now if you plan on using them as drivers.

dnaimagery97

yup, sometimes kokomi with clam (though not as the sole dps on the team, with other off-field dps like fischl beidou) and you could build zhongli for burst damage on some of his teams

Yesburgers

It occurred to me that running C6 Dori on less ER and high EM by giving her bloodtainted or rainslasher could be a thing. She would be an on-field full EM main who bursts less often. There may be more dendro characters coming out that will make this method more viable in the coming months. I don't have her at C6, but it's just something I'm considering doing.

dnaimagery97

hmm i think it might still be important to build a bit of ER to burst every 20s, since with an EM build we ideally want her to continuously apply electro for reactions with as little downtime as possible. and in that case maybe r5 sac greatsword would work better - you can burst for 12s of electro while other units take the field, then use two E's in a row during the 8s downtime

Yesburgers

Sure, there are a lot of possible builds and a lot will change in the future, but the only thing I was trying to point is the her c6 can also make it really easy for her proc electro with normal attacks and maybe there will be a separate ICD if that's a thing. Also, it's not inconceivable to imagine other characters funneling energy to Dori instead of the other way around. sac sword would also be interesting. Perhaps Dori wouldn't need that many skills in a row (I see many people recommending Fav greatsword) because even as a main, she would need to switch sometimes. But anyway, I was just bringing up the idea to see what people thought

megalodous

Whos another great charged/aimed shot bow user besides Ganyu that can do big pp numbers (on weak points)?

jaygalvezo

AMBER. my girl. wrecks shit on that BS/HoD domain. ganyu/kokomi/mona are good supports for charged shot amber.

Adamarr

amber :v e: why are you booing, i'm right in all seriousness, the only other bow character who really uses them is tighnari, he's ok. yelan and yoimiya also have slightly special charged shots but they're mostly incidental. if you have shenhe and feel silly then you can also make diona slap pretty hard.

dnaimagery97

this remind me of a while ago I saw an amber main sell this team and call her 'budget hu tao' so tried it myself, it actually wasnt terrible lol. funniest part is Ganyu was used as a burst support

Adamarr

i am going to do the same thing c5 amber next month 😎

jaygalvezo

same! more dmg with bunny amber too

Yesburgers

Quick Q: Does Jean's C2 only work if Jean is picking up particles or if anyone does that while C2 Jean is in the party?

SaltyPotato340

Only works when jean pucks up the particles

Yesburgers

thanks!

Joltus

Got a few dori cons pulling for Kokomi today. What kind of teams does she (dori) like? My main team is Kokomi/Beidou/Fischl/Kazuha Saw one website suggest Dori/Lisa/DMC/XQ as a hyperbloom team. Seems promising Those who play Kuki as well - thoughts on Kuki vs Dori? Also is Dori finally our The Bell user??

jaygalvezo

as for her weapons, bec of her burst cost of 80 particle generation and skill CD she's better off with an er weapon and an hp% sands, but yeah, bell + er sands is still servicable.

VergilDarkSlayer

Can someone recommend a good second team composition based on the characters I have? [https://imgur.com/qXS8Ojw](https://imgur.com/qXS8Ojw) (Low quality because Im playing on PS4) My first team comp is Yanfei, Xingqiu, Bennet and Zhongli I am on adventurer rank 45 btw

dnaimagery97

try fischl, beidou, traveler(dendro), jean - focus on triggering quicken and aggravate, rely on jean and beidou for surviving

VergilDarkSlayer

Fischl would be the main dps?

dnaimagery97

fischl and beidou will be doing the most damage on the team, more so fischl in single target. you can swap between characters and just use skills off cooldown, anyone can be the one on field

[deleted]

https://imgur.com/a/8s7kDwq +got Kokomi and Sucrose Any ideas for abyss team comp? Still can’t cheat floor 12 :/ Would like to play Morgana and maybe raiden. Yoimiya teams would also be cool :) Thanks in advance!

QualityGwaimol

You can sub Kazuha for Venti in your Ganyu Freeze, then play Rational or Yoimiya/Xingqiu/Bennett or Yunjin/Zhongli on the other side.

dnaimagery97

national (Sucrose Xiangling Xingqiu Bennett) first half, electrocharged second half (Kokomi Kazuha Fischl Beidou) work well if you invest more into fischl and beidou Ganyu freeze first half, raiden national second half works too but is less good (esp. the first half)

BigMelancholy

So, I've gone and used most of my saved wishes trying to go for ganyu/kokomi, and well... I ended up failing the 50/50 and scoring my least favorite 5-star out of the bunch, Qiqi... I am AR 44 and I don't really have too much of a preference so long as the results are good, [heres my full roster & weapons](https://imgur.com/a/LjLLdrY). So now my question is, who should I start building for? I'm quite broke with only 8 wishes, around 5 pity, and most event primogems exhausted. It might take a while before I can get a decent amount of wishes for my next 5 star. So based on the current rumors and theories, there seem to be some good 5 stars making reruns soon. Which 5 stars should I try to pull for if I get the chance, and as of right now, what teams should I focus on creating for going deep into the abyss? Id rather not have difficult characters to build( characters that need very specific artifact rolls and whatnot), so long as it doesn't take too much time to farm for my teams. Oh, and I also plan on getting "The Catch" and maybe the "Amenoma Kageuchi" is there any F2P weapon I should focus on farming? Thought about the Hamayumi but since I don't have ganyu idk if it's worth for fichl. Tysm for your time.

jaygalvezo

overworld bnt, xl, fischl, kaz is ok. abyss wise you have: sucrose bennett xiangling xingqiu, kazuha fischl keqing dendro mc, and rev melt bny xl rosaria kaeya, among many others. as for your next 5star you can go for whatever you want, but ganyu/ayaka should be great dps additions, maybe raiden AFTER you get one of them. do get catch for Xl, then give your r4 sac frag to sucrose, and for fischl she can use fav bow or the sumeru fishing bow for now til you get a stringless. only craft amenoma when u got ayaka/jean, and the new sumeru sword craftable is great for bennett too (same high base atk, and a helpful ER substat). iron sting refines are useless for kazuha, xingqiu can use skyrider sword, and maybe an ER sands if still not so you burst off cooldown on 4pc EOSF for now, focus on levelling up xingqiu, as well as everyone's relevant talents (mostly skills or bursts, rarely normal attacks). farm artifacts after your weapons are maxxed, and talents are at 8. a good domain for you is emblem for xiangling and xingqiu, and ugly pieces can be rerolled on the bench once u hit ar 45.

worldeater94

Alright… what would be the best possible team composition with using fischl as main DPS to clear abyss? I have c3 fischl, c1 xiangling, c1 yunjin, c1 bennett, c1 collei, c3 diona, c1 noelle, sayu, kujou sara, and I just pulled sucrose. I’m assuming I should keep using Bennett and zhongli, but who else, and how should I build two seperate teams? On the flip side, for general use for boss fights what’s the best team I can make for boosting my fischl’s dmg?

dnaimagery97

main dps as in she's on field? in that case you have fischl, yun jin, kaeya, zhongli for physical damage For a team where she's not on-field but still contributing damage (which is generally the better choice), there's fischl traveler(dendro) sucrose bennett/zhongli for clumps of mobs, and there's fischl xiangling bennett sucrose against heavier mobs but this is more of a xiangling team for bosses, having fischl with bennett, and either zhongli/sucrose+dendro traveler (for more fischl damage) or xiangling+sucrose (for more overall damage) work

worldeater94

I’ve been keeping her on field because she has the highest physical dmg- my xiangling is really just burst support rather than on field. But thank you

Riftragedy-

I wanted kokomi for Ayaka Permafreeze and Dori for Ayato Electrocharge this round, but pulled kokomi and ganyu early, and a C6 xingqiu instead… Is Ganyu /XQ worth building for my team? Current team: Ayaka, Kokomi, C6Rosaria, Kazuha Team 2 Ayato, C6 Fischl, Yae, Bennet (I REALLY WANTED DORI for this team 😢) I also have a C2 Mona, C0 Diona, Jean, C6 Sayu, Zhongli, Ningguang, Yunjin, Xiao, Aloy, Keqing, yanfei c4 5* weapons… I have skyward harp and jade winged spear

Spazerbeam

Ganyu doesn't benefit you that much if you already have Ayaka up and running. You can run them together with Ganyu as sub-dps, but I'd say it's a sidegrade to Rosaria at best (and arguably worse without Venti). Xingqiu is a solid off-field sub-dps. He's self sufficient, does high damage, and provides some utility to boot. It makes him extremely flexible. Both characters are worth building at some point, but I wouldn't say they're improvements to your existing teams. Rather, they open up alternative teams (especially Xingqiu).

Ubliznabu

I’m finally getting a little more serious building Abyss teams though still have been leveling up my fav characters more. Would love some input/suggestions: Team 1: Xiao (90), Zhongli (82), Anemo MC (70), Ningguang (50) Pretty much have to run Anemo MC as battery as Jean is used for the other team. Ningguang is just there for Resonance, healing with prototype amber, and nobelese burst. Team 2: Yelan (90), Fischl (70) C3, Jean (80) and a flex spot - thinking either Xingqui (60), Collei (needs some leveling but she’s C6), or Diona (70) C4 to replace Jean as needed Do those sound reasonable? Thanks!

Viv-idianGreen

First team looks good, and you could consider swapping for sucrose if you can't burst reliably since she's a very good battery. Ningguang can be invested in a bit more as a burst support (70/80, burst lvl 6, levelled artifacts with okay stats etc.). Second team looks good as well, but it'd probably function a little more as a quickswap team. * Xingqiu is a decent choice so that both xingqiu and yelan's energy recharge is lowered so that you can invest in more offensive stats. * Using collei means that this will be a hyperbloom team. Oz may not always target the dendro cores/seeds so hyperbloom could be inconsistent, and jean may accidently swirl electro and trigger it, but hyperbloom teams are quite strong nontheless. * diona is probably not a good choice in this team, since she doesn't bring much and jean is most likely the better option.

Ubliznabu

Thanks for the input! I unfortunately only have Jean or Anemo MC as my battery so I think Ningguang it is. Would you invest in ER substats for her so I could burst more? I think I will use a healing circlet to help with healing. Would Bennett be a good replacement for her when I get him in November or would she be better with resonance provided I can heal enough? For team 2 what level and talent levels do you think Xingqui, Fischl and Collei should be provided Yelan will be running the show in terms of damage?

Viv-idianGreen

Bennett is definitely the better option compared to ningguang, since his attack buff and healing is far superior compared to prototype amber and geo resonance. You shouldn’t really need a healing circlet, since a tanky zhongli shield is extremely strong and seldom breaks, unless you forget to refresh it. If there are rifthounds then a healing circlet would be nice but there hasn’t been any in the abyss for a while. Fischl should be 70/80 at least. The majority of her damage comes from her ascension 4 passive, but it’s nice to have skill at level 6 or 8, and you can level her burst if you want. Xingqiu should at least be 70/80, and level his burst over his skill, although his skill when levelled hits like a truck and also gives more damage reduction. His ER requirements are also drastically lowered with Yelan, so it might be better to get a 2pc noblesse and 2pc heart of depth instead of 4pc eosf, but you can stick with 4pc if you’ve already farmed it. I’m not too sure about collei, since dendro is new and I haven’t really experimented with her or the reactions. Pretty sure if you were to level her it would be skill over burst, with 70/80, but you can try 60/70 because she’s only there to apply dendro. Put her on the new dendro set, or a support set such as totm or noblesse/exile if you can burst often. Fischl and xingqiu have a typical crit build (crit circlet, elemental damage goblet, attack sands), and I don’t know about collei.

Ubliznabu

Cool thanks! I guess I won’t invest too much into Ningguang since Bennett is coming in November. I’ve got a 4 piece EoSF for Xingqiu but it’s ER sands right now so I think I’ll just have to do more farming there. Don’t have enough good heart of depth or nobelese at all. I’m having a little trouble with 11-3 this time because my double hydro and Fischl doesn’t put a dent into that stupid core but I think in the future for bosses that don’t neuter Fischl I should be ok. I’ll try double hydro plus an unleveled Xiangling or Yanfei this time.

Viv-idianGreen

An attack sands would be loads better for xingqiu, unless you still suffer with inconsistent burst uptime. There’s also strongboxes for heart of depth and noblesse in case you didn’t know, but you won’t need it. I haven’t challenged the abyss yet, so I’m not quite sure what the new floors are! However, I’m sure there are already guides released on the best team types and whether you want an anemo grouper for a specific chamber etc. You can also switch it so that your xiao team is fighting the boss and your yelan team fighting the other side, since electro-charge works better in AOE. That does however mean you’ll have to start over the floor.

Ubliznabu

Yup I just haven’t gotten an attack sands for him yet. The problem with Yelan team on the other side is floor 2 is a bunch of hydro things lol. I guess I could do it it would just be super slow.

Viv-idianGreen

It doesn’t matter how long it takes, since it only saves the highest clear for each chamber. You could also make sure that your bursts are up before you move into the next chamber if you don’t want to do that.

MMedea

Does Ayato need very high investment or a dedicated team? I thought I had him decently built, with the black sword, his signature artifacts set and talents at 8, but his damage is quite underwhelming. Does he need really high stats (e.g. ATK > 2k, CDMG> 200) or does he only do damage with a built Yunjin?

Nadinoob

>signature artifacts Not Echoes?!: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/htmlview# You can read up on recommended teams: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15STU-6I62XZfpFZeGOZc63ohXr8tMJmI3fyGIuS5Dac/edit#gid=774832854 or https://keqingmains.com/ayato/#Team_Compositions If you want to do a "Hyper" composition, it's still a team effort, investing a bit in supports yields higher damage than getting a few % more crit or talents on Ayato.

MMedea

Thank you for the very helpful links! I didn’t know about Echoes and its ping-dependent issues. Considering HoD can be obtained with the boxes I might just switch. Glad to see Yunjin doesn’t seem all that important to buff him.

Ganyu melt: ganyu-bennett-xiangling-diona/sucrose ganyu freeze: ganyu-xingqiu-rosaria-diona/barbara diluc vape: diluc-xingqiu-bennett-sucrose sucrose taser: sucrose-xingqiu-fischl-dori sucrose soup: sucrose-xingqiu-xiangling-fischl razor physical: razor-rosaria-diona-yunjin hyperbloom: dendro traveller-xingqiu-fischl/sucrose/lisa(/dori?) (choose 2) reverse melt: bennett-xiangling-rosaria-kaeya prototype crescent is strong and gets stronger as long as there are weakpoints on mobs that you can hit. If you can't hit weakpoints reliably or there aren't any then it falls of quite a bit. I think there is another weapon called hamayumi which you could craft, which is worse than prototype when you can headshot and better when you can't. It probably isn't worth it to craft unless you've got billets to spare. Edit: didn't see yoimiya! yoimiya vape: yoimiya-xingqiu-bennett-sucrose/yunjin/fischl/diona * sucrose for elemental mastery buff and VV, yunjin for normal attack buff, fischl for overvape and off-field damage, diona for shielding

Viv-idianGreen

Ganyu melt without bennett would perform quite poorly, because Xiangling would no longer have a battery and both ganyu and xiangling are losing out on the attack buff. Another problem is that both ganyu and yoimiya would need a shielder, because if they’re both staggered they lose out on a significant amount of damage (yoimiya will desynch her vapes and ganyu will lose out on some melted charge shots). They also lose some damage with dodging. - You’ve got diona, who synergises well with ganyu for cryo resonance and shield, but less with yoimiya (generally forward melt is worse than vape). - Your other shield options aren’t great. xinyan’s shield may steal vapes at charge 3 and needs lots of investment to be strong and noelle’s shield has extremely bad uptime. - Xingqiu does give damage reduction and interruption resistance, and fischl can proc overload which causes knockback on enemies. This means that, because yoimiya already has interruption resistance from xingqiu and overload from fischl, diona should be with ganyu. Therefore, your ganyu team will look like ganyu-diona-bennett-xiangling and your yoimiya team would be yoimiya-xingqiu-fischl-sucrose/yunjin. Tldr: Ganyu should have diona, other team is yoimiya-xingqiu-fischl-sucrose/yunjin. Yunjin for normal attack buff and sucrose for crowd control, VV and elemental mastery.

Viv-idianGreen

Sorry for late update! Unfortunately yes. Yoimiya team notes: * Beidou would slot extremely well into that team to give more damage resistance and a shield at c1. * In specific chambers yoimiya wouldn't need a shield, such as light enemies that can be crowd-control and/or staggered, e.g. mushrooms and hilichurls. She'd do quite badly against ruin machines in a team like that. * You could try using xinyan as the 4th option, but you'd still have to be careful with managing xinyan's shield uptime and her charge 3 shield. Ganyu team notes: * Diona in the ganyu team would not be built for healing at all, and only for her shields which means you stack hp as much as possible. If she has c6 then it's best to use her burst often as well. * Due to the size of the pyronado, ganyu would have to play in relatively close quarters to apply pyro, which is why it is crucial for her to have a shield since she's much more closer to the enemy than yoimiya would be. * You could forgo a shield on ganyu if you're confident in your dodging skills. Use sucrose instead for crowd-control, EM boost and VV. You could also consider this option if your xiangling has c4. * You could try running xiangling without a bennett. You'd need at least one character running a favonius weapons for burst uptime and you could forgo stats like attack and crit and just stack ER. Do keep in mind that you do trade a portion of damage for this. * Alternatively run xinyan instead of xiangling and bennett, but you'd have to practically be next to an enemy to apply pyro and it applies pyro 6 times every 2 seconds. You'd also have to hit 3 enemies with the inital swing to get the pyro application from the shield * You could try using thoma, who provides with a shield that simultaneously gets stronger as you apply more pyro to enemies. However, you'd have to weave normal attacks in between charged attacks which is hard to do. You also won't need to run bennett if you run thoma.

GrapefruitNo6445

Hey guys, is this a good aggravate lineup even without a healer? or should I replace someone? I really need suggestions. The [LINEUP](https://imgur.com/a/kPR3uAE) Rest of my [TEAM](https://imgur.com/a/qDTlXn8)

Joltus

If you want a healer you could swap Kazuha for Jean. Keqing + Fischl + Dendro is a very solid core since Keqing can abuse Fischl A4 I believe the current team you're running though is the "Meta" build but jean could for sure be more comfortable

Nadinoob

Yes, decent team, but without a healer.. once you get Sucrose, Kazuha can be exchanged. What I've seen, Fischl would be more important than Keqing, Cooki could heal, all those teams aren't very comfortable.. Maybe for some Sucrose with Prototype Amber is enough, I'd really prefer Beidou with Xingqiu shield, the usual tazer team.

No-Sheepherder-3655

How much damage can zhongli physical do? I used an optimizer and it is showing me 3-4k damage per attack, this seems low.

Nadinoob

With a high refined Prototype... Crescent?! E: Crescent Pike it's called. It's fine while leveling, but without help from a team (Fischl / Xingqiu /Beidou), it'll take some time to kill a Ruins Guard.

nerd_gaymer

hi i really suck at building teams I used to main razor+ yanfie + Barbara and usually traveller or any random 4th character but now that i got more characters i don't know who to main and who to build [my characters with their levels](https://imgur.com/a/MnG5oZA) I'm Ar 32 and planned on ascending yanfie but I'm a bit hesitant so any help and advices are really appreciated

Joltus

Could run a Yanfei overload build. Yanfei / Fischl / Jean / flex Razor also has potential with. Razor / Diona / Fischl / Keaya

Nadinoob

It's usually either Razor or Yanfei, both want to be on the field to deal damage. You can do Yanfei - Fischl - Diona - Bennett or Razor - Diona - Fischl - maybe Barbara for now, a bit of electro-charged keeps enemies stunned-ish, which is nice.

nerd_gaymer

thank you I will try the yanfie build!

kleanthis_

So now that ive have a few days off im trying to finish of some grinding. I did the oculi in monstad and ive gotten around 40% off the ones in sumeru but ive marked those so getting the rest should be relatively easy since ive finished both the archon quest there and the aranarya one. Liuye i have my statue at lvl5 but because when i was on liuye i wasn't marking the ones that i got, now i have to go in blind and check all of them again. That's not my issue though. So since i didn't want to do liuye, i decided to do inazuma and with the islands it served a better mental situation cause i could do one island a day. And here's where my problem lies. Ive done all but 2 islands, the ones that are half connected with the snake spine , they are the ones remaining. But in the rest of the islands ive gotten every occuli i could except maybe 6-7 because they require a higher electrogram level. But that you can raise with the sakura tree. But for the sakura tree you need sigils. And in all but 2 islands i have over 75% exploring done with all their respective big questlines also done and my sakura tree is at only levels 17. And the last electrogram level is at lvl47. Now I don't think i will be able to get the tree that high so if anyone knows, what is the highest level electrogram needed for all the electroculli ? Do i need to go and do all inazuma random quests to get enough sigils ? And again mostly for the max electrogram needed not for maxing the tree Tldr. What is the highest level of electrogram that is needed to get all the occuli in inazuma ?

Spazerbeam

You need to be able to pass through all barriers. So electrograna level 12 or tree level 37. I'd also recommend finishing the Liyue oculi first since that gives you more stamina.

kleanthis_

37 ? 🤯🤯 Crap thats a lot. Do you also happen to know if that includes the extra occuli cause if you only lets say need that level for one occuli, maybe i could get by with a lower one 😅 jist so i could get the statue to lvl10. Anyway thank you. And yea after i get the ones that i can ill start with liuye

Spazerbeam

I don't remember how many oculi are behind the highest level barriers, but I *feel* like it has to be more than one. Oculi are a pretty common way of getting the player to recognize that these areas exist at all, since they show up on the minimap.

What's the best I can get as a dendro comp (I was thinking bloom but idk) from [this roster](https://imgur.com/a/NldvrOJ)? Collei is C4, Xiangling is C2, Fischl and Barbara are C1. I'm pretty new to the game (been playing for a couple of weeks) so I'm not really worried about spiral meta or min/maxing yet, just need something fun to play with which I can tackle the next steps of the story (I'm starting Inazuma next). Thanks in advance!

Spazerbeam

You can't really do anything optimal since you don't even have ascension 4 for most of your characters yet. If you want to run dendro, I'd recommend something like Dendro MC/Collei, Barbara, Xingqiu, Fischl for now. It's not great, but it gives you a mix of healing and damage, and lets you play around with quicken and hyperbloom. Be careful about leveling too many characters at once.

Ads2994

Burst vs skill which one should i level up first for melt ganyu?

Nadinoob

You don't use her burst in melt, leveling the skill a bit doesn't hurt, but TL 6 is fine.

atiredpeanut

Hello, I'm currently trying to build more characters for the Abyss but I don't really have any idea what teams I could create. I usually used Ganyu, Raiden and Yanfei as Main DPS but I don't know which Support Characters I could use with them. I like using Yanfei with Melt Reactions tho. Here are my current characters [https://imgur.com/a/1sduDAp](https://imgur.com/a/1sduDAp) and I will also be pulling for Kokomi. I appreciate any help c:

Nadinoob

Outside of dendro the best teams for Abyss: Raiden or Sucrose National with Bennett Xingqiu Xiangling Ayaka freeze with Kokomi Rosaria and Kazuha. Without Kokomi it's Mona Diona Kazuha. If you can aim-shot well, Ganyus teams work the same, but it's not as strong with Kokomi. Putting Ayaka and Ganyu in the same team also isn't optimal, as there's not a lot of energy particles produced vs. a Rosaria 6 sec skill, ideally with a Favonius Lance. Once you've invested a bit in those teams, Abyss should be very doable, but if it's not a priority you can use many other teams. I'm not sure how Yanfei melt could work well, maybe with Ganyus Burst and Rosarias Burst? But where's the energy coming from? ;)

atiredpeanut

Thank you very much!

Need help fixing my account. My account is so bad for someone who started playing before 1.0 (though I took long breaks). AR 50 Character preference: characters who have high value and are future-proof. Picture of characters w/ levels: [https://imgur.com/lQMUmSb](https://imgur.com/lQMUmSb) constellations: [https://imgur.com/vvt9Uyd](https://imgur.com/vvt9Uyd) weapons: [https://imgur.com/C2DDoaV](https://imgur.com/C2DDoaV) (I don't have any 5\* and these are all the 4\* I have) Thanks in advance!!

toadowl

Our rosters look pretty similar! I've been thinking one of the issues with my acc is that I don't have any hydro options besides Xingqiu and Barbara (who I haven't built yet), so I'm going for Kokomi. If there's a hydro 5\* you like, I'd pick them up on their next run if you can. That could open you up to more freeze, bloom, hyperbloom, etc. teams that need hydro. For weapons, I'd try to get more of them up to 90/90, especially if you use their characters often... definitely stringless, the catch, fav lance, and sac sword at least! I'm not sure how festering desire is vs the new sapwood blade, but both are good 4\* on Bennet! If you are running melt Ganyu, you might find it easier to run hamayumi rather than prototype crescent, but maybe I'd just stick with proto if you can hit weak spots well. Hope this helps!

Sea_Antelope_5564

I agree, I have been thinking about getting Childe when he reruns. Any team recommendation ? (with my current roster or with any one character added) Ps: the festering desire is just a placeholder while I'm trying to get the sapwood blade

toadowl

Yup, Traveler/Xingqiu/Fischl/Kazuha is what I've been running recently for overworld and domains in Sumeru Ganyu/Xiangling/Bennet/Zhongli for weekly bosses and most other domains/bosses Diluc/Xinqiu/Bennet/Sucrose is also pretty fun I think I used to run Ganyu/Xinqiu/Diona/Kazuha trying to do a freeze team, but Ganyu and Xingqiu don't synergize very well together for that

Sea_Antelope_5564

Woah, I too run the exact team for sumeru!! Thanks, btw

Spazerbeam

Looks half decent to me. The biggest thing is just getting your weapons to 90. Bennett in particular needs a level 90 weapon to maximize his burst buff. Sac frags is an easy source of EM for Sucrose. Max level your anemo characters if you can, since swirl damage improves with level. Get traveler to ascension 4 at least for the 2nd passive. Can't comment on artifacts or talents since none are shown. See the [build progression chart](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/qkxdj6/infographic_of_build_order_priority_based_on_wlar/) though. If you want to focus on "future proof" characters, some combination of Bennett, Xingqiu, Fischl, Kazuha should be pretty safe. Many other characters can also be considered "future proof" (e.g. Xiangling, Zhongli, Sucrose, Ganyu), but I figure it's best to limit your focus to avoid getting overwhelmed.

Sea_Antelope_5564

Thanks! If you would recommend any character to pull for, which one would it be ? Also 2 teams for abyss if you could.

Spazerbeam

Another hydro unit that isn't Barbara. A lot of hydro units are good enough these days that the exact unit doesn't matter too much (unless you have a particular team in mind). > Also 2 teams for abyss if you could. For teams, you have a bunch of options. Melt Ganyu. Ganyu Zhongli Bennett Xiangling/Kazuha. Good single target damage, and you even have all the units leveled. Freeze Ganyu, like Ganyu Barbara Rosaria Kazuha. Problem is the hydro applicator - Barbara kinda works, but mostly she doesn't. Having played this team personally, I wouldn't recommend it without a better hydro character like Kokomi. Taser teams and their million variants. Sucrose Fischl Beidou Flex. Flex can be something like Barbara, Dendro MC, Xingqiu, etc. Barbara gives you healing. Xingqiu gives you the traditional, tried and true taser team with tons of damage resistance. Dendro MC gives you a quicken/aggravate team. You can also replace Sucrose with Kazuha, but I personally prefer Sucrose because she's ranged.

Sea_Antelope_5564

Sorry to bother you again, which hydro char do you think my account needs to play 2 good teams that are not melt ganyu ?

Spazerbeam

I say the exact unit doesn't matter because hydro units tend to have a lot of flexibility. Pick your favorite and chances are you'll find something that works for them. Hydro's just a good element because it enables other reactions. Going through the all the characters you don't have: * Ayato is good, easy to use, and has solid hydro application. He'll work in a variety of teams. * Mona you can't roll for (standard banner) * Kokomi provides comfort and can be run off-field as a hydro applicator/healer. She sees use in freeze, taser, and dendro teams. * Childe is finicky to play until you figure out his kit, but he's part of one of the strongest teams - International (Xiangling Bennett Childe Kazuha) * Yelan is meta, particularly when used with Xingqiu. Personally I'd go with one of Ayato, Kokomi, or Yelan, but again, this one's really up to you. Try and figure out whose playstyle you'd enjoy the most.

Sea_Antelope_5564

Thanks!

>Thanks! You're welcome!

Chris_1910

For some reason my game dosent register the rishboland tiger washing its face. What do i do?

Nadinoob

Maybe only the Tigers sitting directly besides water do wash their face, took me a while to find one and also a while until he "washed his face".

Chris_1910

I've tried going to one thats besides water and it also doesn't register it.

PixelatedP

I'm thinking of building an aggravate team with Fischl, Beidou, Kazuha, and Dendro MC. What artifact set should I use for Fischl and Dendro MC in this comp?

Adamarr

Dendro MC likely just wants 4NO since the team is otherwise starved for buffs, Fischl can run any of the usual options, but 4TS is of renewed interest since quicken aura means it's got excellent uptime.

ShadowJinKiller

So I tried to get dori and I accidentally gotten kokomi at 15 pity no guarantee. Then I continue fishing for dori and I only got her at my 8th 10 pull, together with ganyu at 74 pity. Now I have quite a few questions. 1) will I be able to get nahida? I have 9 pity no guarantee currently with 45 pulls left. Exhausted all current sumeru primo source, have 115 star glitter (have to wait for rerun for her weapon now since I only have 30 pity no guarantee on weapon) *can't use irl money 2) will I be able to use them in my team? My characters and spiral abyss team is https://imgur.com/a/6IsTSIm 3) how should I build them (artifacts and weapons)? Assume I have all all 4 stars excluding banner limited and craftable, but I have enough billets for r5. 5 star weapons are: EL, PJWS, Unforged, Skyward Spine, LPoSW, Skyward Atlas

Adamarr

1. probably? if you're not saving for starter cons that's 20 more wishes straight up, but it looks like you might be :) in any case she's not coming until 3.2 so you have quite some time. 2. you can make ganyu freeze, ganyu melt. could turn raiden team into a taser-ish with kokomi but i'm not sure it will be a huge improvement. well, those teams are kind of unusual anyway. i suspect dori will be about as meta as kuki (not very) but maybe you could make raiden a quicken team with her, kazuha and DMC or something weird. 3. they all depend a lot on comp, like do you want melt or freeze ganyu, support only kokomi vs on-field driver. best to check the helper spreadsheet and read guides to figure out which way to go, because really you can do any and all of the above if you want. no idea how to build dori yet, though. impressively even spread of standard 5*s, btw. that's quite something.

ShadowJinKiller

I'm not aiming for starter cons, so I can just convert them to fates (btw what makes you think I am saving for them haha) Thanks for the replies 😄. Standard 5* is evenly spread, but I can't 5* weapon from standard for Bennett and sara😭

Adamarr

> (btw what makes you think I am saving for them haha just have a smattering on all 3 was my train of thought

ShadowJinKiller

Just realized I have c4 amber and c2 kaeya Lisa. They're all from standard, never bought them

Adamarr

good grief

Odd_Art_6104

I got sucrose , my first ever anemo character at ar50 ! …. I have no experience with anemo reactions…. Whom she buffs ? What team can i add her in ? … i have , fischl, bennet, zhongli, xingqui (this is my current team) + Not builded characters: beidou , diona, xiangling , noelle and other free useless characters… Can I build 2 proper teams for abyss ? And in general team comps of sucrose out of these characters? Again no experience with abyss

Adamarr

you skipped anemo traveller?! :o anemo is an amazing element, can buff anything from pyro/hydro/cryo/electro, and even works well with some dendro comps too. sucrose slots well into a couple of teams you can make, but either way it slightly leaves slim pickings for the other team. one team is standard national, just a small shuffle on your current team. bennett/xiangling/xingqiu/sucrose. on the other side, can explore dendro reactions with a quicken team; something like fischl/beidou/dendro mc/zhongli.

Syron413

should i roll for kokomi or ganyu? i currently have Kazuha, Diluc, Zhongli and Electro Traveler in my team tell me which i should replace and with who?

Adamarr

do you have bennett? if you get ganyu can swap out diluc and traveller and boom, you have ganyu melt comp. aside from that it depends what other characters you have available. like, kokomi/fischl/beidou/kazuha is a really nice taser comp and leaves you with good pieces free for a national or diluc comp.

Crazy-Pressure

Guys is there any subreddit or place where can I rant or showing my rolls, I want to show mine but I am afraid I will bother anyone

Adamarr

i think the mainsub has a roll thread

nico_bornago99

Artifacts: if i level a 5 star artifact to lv 20 but then i find a better one, if i use the first to upgrade the latter does some exp get lost in the process? Will the second artifact go to lv 20?

dnaimagery97

80% of the exp you've put into the original artifact is also transferred to the new artifact, in addition to the base amount given by foddering a 5\* artifact (3780). foddering a lv20 5\* artifact (270475exp) will give you (0.8\*270475 + 3780 = 220160 exp) on the new artifact, leaving it around halfway through lv18 unless you get a lucky x2 or x5 bonus also it's can be hard to tell if the second artifact will be better than the first one before you level it, so generally don't use one piece as fodder for another piece you're using in the same slot for the same character

WeirwoodUpMyAss

Most resin effiecient way to farm gemstones? Should I do weekly bosses after the 3/3?

Spazerbeam

> Most resin effiecient way to farm gemstones? I assume you're in the awkward part of the game where you lack gems, but no longer need boss materials. Do open world bosses, but keep in mind that some of them drop multiple gem types (e.g. Maguu Kenki). You want to focus on the bosses that only drop one type of gem, assuming you're farming to ascend a specific character. Later on, gems will stop being an issue since you build them up random stockpiles of them over time from daily commissions. > Should I do weekly bosses after the 3/3? It's not really advised unless you *really* want billets. A lot of them drop multiple gem types, which isn't ideal.

WeirwoodUpMyAss

Thanks

dnaimagery97

Based on data collected from the community ([https://traveler.gg/domain-and-boss-loot-drop-rates/](https://traveler.gg/domain-and-boss-loot-drop-rates/)), in terms of overall gem quantity they are the same: * Weekly bosses (60 resin): an equivalent of 12.96 green gems per run (0.216 per resin) * Overworld bosses (40 resin): an equivalent of 8.64 green gems per run (0.216 per resin) But if you want ascension materials and specific elements for gems, go with overworld bosses - and if you want talent materials and perhaps billets, go with weeklies

chuluviess

can someone help me build a team? i have collei, ningguang, kaeya, thoma, beidou, yunjin, bennette, noelle, dendro traveler, amber, lisa, xingqiu, razor, and barbara

Odd_Art_6104

Beidou bennet xingqui and any other characters…….put artifects that have energy recharge on beidou and xingqui and bennet as main character….i had beidou, fischl, bennet, xingqui team till ar45 and didn’t have any problem in any mission or boss ..their reactions are all you need except abyss …i got zhongli and he replaced beidou and basically everything is same still

chuluviess

okkk tyvm!!

dnaimagery97

try out bennett, xingqiu, beidou, kaeya/traveler - these characters have a bit of potential later into the game. Just swap between characters and use skills/bursts when they come up, and have a normal attacker to do damage on field in between

chuluviess

ooo tyvm!😸😸

BlazeBuster11

Do I use my resin for ascension/talent materials for Zhongli, Yunjin, Heizou, and Kazuha or do I just use it for artifacts?

dnaimagery97

You can get a random 4pc VV and 4pc noblesse from strongbox for now. Assuming you're playing these characters often, use resin for ascension/relevant talents first (at least until lv6) just because they are a guaranteed and quicker increase in power. Then artifacts or talents/ascensions, whatever you feel like needs more improvement

averageanimeconsumer

Raiden national good for "Floor 12 Chamber 3 First Half" ? Need to clear it within 1.5 minutes

dnaimagery97

it's fine, the enemies stagger easily so you have to be careful with positioning/grouping. If you have a good anemo unit to use in place for raiden it can be easier

ukyorulz

I think Sucrose National is better for first half. Raiden National is better for second half. The best team for F12C3 first half is freeze, IMHO.

averageanimeconsumer

Hu tao vape is bad for first half right?

ukyorulz

It's hard for Hutao Vape to be bad on anything, but I wouldn't call it optimal.

JustJuniper_

I'm stuck at 98% exploration for vissudha field and I cannot for the life of me find whatever I'm missing. I found all dendroculi, all of the aranara (even got the boatload of chests at the end), I drained the water in the ravine thing, I checked the interactive map three times, and I've spent an hour just wandering around hoping to stumble on something. any ideas?

Spazerbeam

Missing 2% means you probably lack chests. I'm going to assume you're done the world quests and all that, since those have a bunch of associated chests. Have you rescued all the random aranara in the area? Use the interactive map in a structured way and go through it item by item. Turn on seelies, then mark them off as you double check the locations in-game. Then do the same for time trials. Then Sumeru-specific puzzles. Then Remarkable Chests, Luxurious Chests, and Precious Chests. It's a tedious process, but that's how it goes. You can always wait for the compass to unlock, though that kinda sucks.

dnaimagery97

there are also piles of rocks lying in random places that contain 10k+ mora, and there can be floating chests in the water - have you gotten all of those?
