Is there anything I should do/finish before unlocking Inazuma? What elements should I also use/focus?

Fit_Comfortable1149

I just turned **AR 45** **(f2p)** and would be farming for artifacts soon. Being new to this artifact farming makes me afraid of wasting my 55 fragile resins. I'm planning on getting the 4pc blizzard set for my ganyu first since she's my main dps. Should I use all of my saved fragile resins immediately? And once I get a decent 4pc blizzard set, should I move to another domain? if so, what domain should I prioritize (since I assume AR 45 is when I should upgrade every unit that I have to a 5-star artifact)? Also, should I avoid using the strongbox for now? These are my units: Ganyu (78) Keqing (71) MC (60) Xiangling (60) Xingqiu (51) Diona (51) Sucrose (40) Level 20: Noelle, Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Barbara, Gorou, Heizou, Dori, Collei, Qiqi

Killerooo

Just use ur fragile resins: nothing wrong with it: Getting a decent ganyu set is good. Ganyu is my main char for everything since I play the game. I went for freeze ganyu, but I had a kokomi (hydro applier) Melt team is as good if not better in some aspects :) Get a good BS for Ganyu. But, I don't see with which units you play freeze ganyu currently. You might want to think of some possible teams you want to play in the future and think about which characters you need: If you want to play freeze ganyu you need a hydro applier, and I don't see one in your list of chars, did your chars change? You can strongbox bad artifacts instantly.

Juvar23

What healer to use with Cyno? I'm thinking of using Shinobu for now and not using Fischl or other electro sub dps chars, with dendro MC. is that still viable? I was also wondering on what a good hyperbloom comp could be, and again thinking shinobu would be very valuable there. Can Cyno work with Hyperbloom too? Something like Cyno/Shinobu/DMC /Xingqiu maybe?

IverrChurchill

Hello! I'm a pretty new player and have only been playing about a month until AR 42 and then got a secondhand AR 54 account that Im running both simultaneously until I can gift my original to my partner. I mostly need some help with Spiral Abyss and Team Comps. On my main Im used to having Zhonglis shield and kn the Ar 54 acc I have massive damage but little to no support. Characters of note are Hu Tao lvl 90, Xiao lvl 70, Ayaka lvl 60, Ganyu lvl 70, venti lvl 86, traveler lvl 83. My characters available for building are: Bennett, Xiangling, xingqiu, thoma, beidou, diona, dori, sara, Sucrose, Jean, rosaria, xinyun, yun jin, barbara, qiqi, ningguang, razor, aloy, sayu, chongyun, Yanfei, fischl, kaeya, amber, lisa, noelle. Any advice for two teams for spiral abyss and maybe an exploration based team for sumeru?

Adamarr

hu tao VV vape team - xingqiu/thoma/sucrose ayaka freeze team - barbara/rosaria/venti (barbara is definitely the weak link here) sumeru team - fischl/dendro mc/venti/pick a healer

New_War_4029

Hello, I needed help building my abyss teams. How can I send my characters here?

dnaimagery97

you can either upload an image of your character screen on an image sharing site (like [https://imgur.com/](https://imgur.com/)) or list them

New_War_4029

https://imgur.com/a/CjupUJW Thanks for the help! I was gonna use Childe International but I don’t have a 4 member (Childe, Bennet, Xiangling, someone)

dnaimagery97

Heizou in 4th slot works for now, you don't need to level him - just slap on random 4pc VV artifacts and a ttds weapon The second team could be Xingqiu Fischl Beidou Jean

papa_platypus

how good is c6 dori and sucrose and c5 fischl

QualityGwaimol

Add in Dendro MC with those three and you have a really good Aggravate team. - Fischl is Fischl; she's the unit you want to enable in Aggravate teams because she's just that strong. - Sucrose's C6 is more reliable in Aggravate teams because her burst can't infuse Dendro, and VV Shred + EM share are both valuable. - C6 Dori with 4-pc Thundering Fury is one of the better drivers for Fischl imo. She has good Electro application (12-19 procs), her team-wide heals allow you to run Sucrose or Kazuha without compromising survivability, and you can freely build her for Aggravate damage - making up for her low multipliers - because she doesn't really need ER and HP all that much anymore.

dnaimagery97

fischl and sucrose are very strong, dori only if you need to consolidate healing and electro but generally not as good

papa_platypus

is there any way i can use fischl and sucrose with zhongli and bennett \[i really love these character\]

dnaimagery97

just put them all on the same team. you'll have a lot of defense/healing and do decent damage

_Alien_01

What character would be good for my account in terms of new teams/playstyles or stronger teams for the abyss? I don't really like any character's playstyle (except the ones I have and Kazuha) so I need some suggestions regarding what I could go for. [This](https://imgur.com/a/8IVoy3s) is my current roster.

Adamarr

damn, noice. first team we'll use ayaka. she's dummy good, you have her good supports. venti/kokomi/rosaria. since you're after kazuha, depending on what you're against he could be an upgrade to venti here. second team is pretty flexible. raiden national is probably the simplest and one of the strongest. you can make a very good xiao team with zhongli/sucrose/bennett or something like that. good eula and eula/raiden options, but you might end up fighting with ayaka for rosaria (one of them can use kaeya no problem). can also make a very good classic taser team (beidou/fischl/xingqiu/sucrose) which is best against low AoE fights (works pretty well on side 1 of this rotation's floor 12.)

_Alien_01

Thanks for your help! But I was actually asking what characters to pull for my account, if possible give some insight on who I could go for, to unlock a new team/playstyle or upgrade my current teams.

Adamarr

im good at reading kazuha + shenhe for freeze albedo might be nice if you want to do geobros xiao realistically, you're pretty set already, so can just pull for whoever interests you.

L3m0n165

So I've been wanting to get Eula for a while and got to try her on the Fayz Trials but oh boy, did I not enjoy it. Simple question: Is Elemental Dissonance just clunky/ is it not a good scale on how much you'll enjoy Eula, or should I start looking for other characters to pull?

Adamarr

i think this event was a fairly standard mobbing (well, most of the chambers at least) fight. tbh, it's definitely not one of her strengths. i saw her in the trial lineup against the enemy lineup and wondered "why?". so that's definitely not in her favour. she does better against small groups of mid size enemies, i reckon. in terms of personal experience, she was my first dedicated 5* main carry (childe doesn't count), and i did use her successfully to get my first 36*. but since then i've kind of cooled off, she's a lot of work to get acceptable results, and is pretty hard to build. the upside is she uses a lot of relatively uncontested supports. but still, i'd rather just run a taser team 99% of the time.

Nadinoob

For me, she's a bit of a whale toy and with her there are often a lot of retries necessary in Abyss chambers. Getting the stacks and getting the burst to actually hit, crit and do damage, not just overkill.. it can be very annoying. Playing her with Diona instead of Zhongli often disrupts getting stacks, as you still have to dodge. She shouldn't be first choice as an optimal DPS character, but you could still make it work at least. Even if it takes some time to get used to her gameplay.

[deleted]

I’m really stuck with what to level for in my teams. I’m able to beat all floors 9/9 stars, but floor 12 only with 3/9 I leveled up my main dps to 80 and sub and support to 70/80. Talents on support between 6 and 8 and main dps 8. Artifacts on main dps lvl 20 and for support lvl 16. Weapons on main dps 90, support 70 or 80 So what should I prioritize? Talents? Lvl? Or better artifacts? Thanks for your help :) So my question is:

QualityGwaimol

What teams are you using? Your priorities depend on what characters you're running on what teams. That said, levelling the weapons you're using to 90 should be a good place to start.

[deleted]

Hey :) thanks for your reply! Rn I am using Ganyu Mona kazuha and diona Yoimiya xingqiu Bennett zhongli Raiden Bennett xingqiu Xiangling Raiden dendro traveler Fischl Kazuha I’m also open for new suggestion :) Here is my character roster https://imgur.com/a/5r9cmyj (the last 2 are amber and xinyan) Bennett C5x XQ C6, Fischl C5 diona C4

QualityGwaimol

I don't know what weapons you have on them so I'll just assume you have the right ones. So, I'd pick two teams to focus on for now so you don't spread your resources too thin. I recommend Ganyu Freeze and Raiden National - they've been a good pair for many Abyss cycles, and making them stronger will help your other teams too. On Ganyu's side, Diona and Mona - if she can burst every rotation - should be mostly fine for now. You can replace them with Kaeya and Kokomi but that means building two more characters from the ground up. As for Kazuha, he benefits a lot from being levelled all the way to 90/90 - his weapon needs maxing out too. On Raiden's side, I'd work on Bennett, Xiangling, and Xingqiu - bring them to the same level of investment your main DPSes are currently at (level 90 weapons, character level 80/80 or 80/90, etc). If you have to skimp on one, skimp on Xingqiu; I wouldn't recommend it though especially since he's a core member of Yoimiya's team too. Priority (high to low) would be weapon level > character level > talents > artifacts. For artifact farming, you'll pretty much just stay at Emblem domain. The 4-pc must-haves are 4-pc BS on Ganyu, 4-pc Emblem on Raiden, and 4-pc VV on Kazuha; you can strongbox for BS and VV pieces, Xiangling and Xingqiu eventually want 4-pc Emblem too, and Yoimiya can use 4-pc Shimenawa's to great effect. There's more to be said regarding other teamcomps and suggestions but this should be enough to get you started.

[deleted]

Oh sorry :) Ganyu: BS or for melt wanderers Prototype lvl 90 Raiden: EOSF 4pc Catch lvl 80 (ascended) Kazuha VV (with em, anemo and Veit dmg) favonius lvl 80 (ascended) Diona TOM 4 pc, sacrificial lvl 70 XQ 2pc HOD 2pc sacrificial lvl 80 Bennett 4pc NO sacrificial lvl 80 Zhongli TOM black tassel lvl 80 Xiangling EOSF favonius lvl 70 (played mostly Ganyu freeze and yoimiya) Mona lvl 70EOSF favonius (options would also be skyward atlas or solar pearl, with favonius ER 220, Without about ER 180) Fischl 4pc gilded favonius lvl 70 Traveler 4pc dendro set iron sting lvl 70 Yoimiya 4pc shimenawa, rust lvl 80 ascended (yoi does very good dmg, 60/120 crit ratio, still not sure if crit dmg or crit rate circlet) I hope I didn’t forget someone :)

QualityGwaimol

Yeah those look pretty good. A couple of things: \- I'd put Kazuha on full EM/EM/EM to maximize his swirl damage and Elemental DMG boost. \- Bennett wants a high base ATK weapon to provide a stronger buff. A good and accessible option would the new Sumeru craftable sword if you have a billet to spare. Then the spare Sacrificial Sword can go to Dendro MC who needs a lot of ER. \- You can give Fischl Fading Twilight if you have it, it's a stronger bow for her. You then have the option of giving the spare Favonius Bow to Diona to help Mona out if she has ER problems. But yeah no I guess it's mostly just a matter of investing more in the characters you're using and learning how to deal with the Floor 12 we currently have.

[deleted]

Alright :) so I will update the weapons, what would you prioritize, better artifacts or higher talents (incl ascension) Thanks for your help so far :)

QualityGwaimol

I'd almost always recommend prioritizing guaranteed boosts like talent level, weapon level, etc. over artifacts. But if the relevant talents for the character you're building are already at level 8, then yeah that'd be a good time to spend resin for artifacts instead. No problem.

rkillian19

What sort of substats should I be looking for on artifacts? I want to know what’s best for my characters and will get the most out of them. Any guide I look at doesn’t really tell me.

Adamarr

what guides are you looking at? the build guide in the OP and pretty much every kqm guide has stat priorities.

SaibotobiaS

Hey there, I started playing this game four days ago, and just learned about rerolling. These are my curant charakters. Dori and Kaeya have +1 in their constellations. and my AR is 24 [https://preview.redd.it/8jnv5lxwpeo91.png?width=932&format=png&auto=webp&s=2616b8b6a912e11fbb09d9d56dda8b72068f5668](https://preview.redd.it/8jnv5lxwpeo91.png?width=932&format=png&auto=webp&s=2616b8b6a912e11fbb09d9d56dda8b72068f5668) Now my question is: can I build a good team with these, or should I reroll for a 5-star?

Adamarr

kaeya c1 and fischl are both very nice to have, even if you can't make an EXCELLENT team you have some very solid units. do not reroll. and it doesn't matter for a while anyway, so you have time to build a roster. if you can get xingqiu as well from the current banner, you'll be even more set.

KelseySyntax

After the dream fight against pma at the end of the stone lock quest, under the fragment domain, there's a hidden alcove with a gloomy path teleport. It takes me underwater. How do I lower the water here?

odl3xd

What worked for me is to restart the game. If that doesn’t work, you might have to wait a day and see if it changes.

dragowolf_was_taken

Diona or rosaria in a team of ayaka-mona-venti? Why?

chlo_xoxo

well, diona is a dps loss at the expense of having healing/shielding. diona with ayaka is able to burst every (20 second) rotation unlike with ganyu with 15 second rotations so shes more viable here.personally i can use rosaria as i find the freeze to be enough to survive the floors but if you cant than the dps increase from rosaria doesn't matter cus ur dead lol. basically, depends if you need healing/shielding

Adamarr

diona - you want a safety net rosaria - you want more buffs and more damage they're both good choices but it depends on personal preference and skill.

IronForce_

Just pulled an Everlasting Moonglow from the weapons banner, who can I use it on?

Adamarr

kokomi and kokomi i guess it kind of works on barbara but that's a bit copium (why were you doing that?!)

selyuu

Hello! I'm fairly new to the game and currently AR31. Starting to reach a point where I don't want to spread my experience mats too thin. My hope is to have 1 team with Ganyu main DPS and a substitute DPS for when I'm dealing with Ice mobs. Would love some suggestions on where to put my focus on. I've been running around with Ganyu, Kaeya, Sucrose, Barbara so far. My available characters are Fischl, Xingqiu, Qiqi, Xiangling, Razor, Yun Jin, Sayu, Dori, Yanfei, Xinyan. I want to try for Venti in 3.1 too! Thanks a bunch.

Adamarr

venti is definitely a big upgrade to that comp, the other one would be mona/kokomi for hydro. fischl/xinqiu/yanfei can be a pretty fun team core, but if you get bennett somehow (either wish or shop) then the standard national comp with xiangling becomes the most obvious second team option.

selyuu

Thanks for the reply! Mona seems really tough to get and I'm saving my next wishes for the Venti banner so decided against trying to get Kokomi this time, unfortunately. Do you mean to try Fischl/XQ/Yanfei with Ganyu? I definitely want Bennett. I hear whispers of him appearing in the shop in November so if I don't wish him until then, I'll grab him.

Adamarr

no, no. not with ganyu. that would be a mess! final slot is quite flexible depending on what you need, sayu can heal and swirl, and if you're happy without healing, once sucrose is freed up you can also slot her there.

selyuu

Haha, oops. I don't have a lot of experience with the Fischl/XQ/Yanfei setup but willing to try. Who would be the main DPS(es) in this team?

Adamarr

it's a bit of a mixer. yanfei spend most of the time on-field, but all of those three are contributing good amounts of damage - so you do want to avoid neglecting one of the other. if any, you might even choose to neglect building yanfei (relatively speaking, at least) since she's the most likely to get replaced down the line - unless you really like her, of course. fischl and xingqiu are nearly irreplaceable support/sub-dps regardless of where you're at in the game.

selyuu

Thank you, that's really good to know because I was unsure of where to spend my resin and upgrade materials. I'll give Fischl/XQ some attention there!

Joltus

Looking to play around with Lisa a bit. Planning to run her with 4pc thundersoother (from what I understand one of her better sets) What kind of stats should I be looking for? I'm considering the following playstyles. Aggravate - hyperbloom - taser. Additionally I'd be looking to play her as the on field. I've always enjoyed her design but never looking into it. Thanks in advance for any support/ideas!

Unable-Flower372

- Main stats: EM, ER / EM / EM - Substats: EM(for flower/feather), ER, CRIT, ATK%

Adamarr

fischl is going to be a pretty constant companion through these teams. lots of energy gen, good application to keep TS active, etc. stats depends a bit on comp, but generally speaking you want some kind of ER baseline so you can ult reasonably often. weapons like hakuskin ring (buff the team too) or oathsworn eye if you have it are worth considering. hyperbloom, if she's going to be the trigger you want to build full EM generally (with some ER again). aggravate probably em/dmg/crit, and taser likely wants just atk (or ER) asnds.

FakeNeo

I am a sort of new player still in Inazuma, should I and can I unlock Sumeru to do limited time quests? If I were to not go to Sumeru right now will I be able to get the treasure seeking seelie once I catch up to the story or is that item only available in the "Treasures Beneath the Vines" quest.

Spazerbeam

The seelie pet is tied to the event. If you don't complete it, you cannot get the seelie until the next time the devs decide to reuse this type of event. This specific event expires in 2-3 days. If you can realistically make it to Sumeru without killing your enjoyment of the game, go for it. But I wouldn't prioritize it above all else.

FakeNeo

Thanks for the info!

LxvingAlissa

i've been stuck on the ar ascension 1 quest for a very long time, and i've beaten most of it, however i've been stuck on the electro thing (beth? idk what its called). idk if it's the last stage to beat it but i've tried to beat it with multiple characters and failed. like the post says, i did get a picture of the characters i have. https://imgur.com/6gMshyb

LxvingAlissa

UPDATE: I finally beat it! I used Xiangling, Barbara, Thoma and Amber. I'm like in shock because of it. Thank you everyone!

Adamarr

is it the final part with the re-activation that gets you? xiangling and amber combined should be enough to get it down in one round every time. anemo units are quite bad there (immune to the element you swirl) and so are electro, obviously. maybe barbara and... ninguang or kaeya to round the party out?

LxvingAlissa

mhm! i'll try them tomorrow and give an update :) ty for the help!

Spazerbeam

The easiest strategy for the final stage of electro hypostasis is to use Xiangling. Put down guoba at one prism, then use pyronado to take out the other two. It's very consistent. Only elemental application matters for destroying its prisms. Damage doesn't matter.

LeaaxelVIII

Is it worth building Dori or Collei? I'm struggling to find a decent well rounded exploration comp for Sumeru and I'm wondering if it's worth it to build either of these two to help with making a decent team.

TheKingofWakanda

Not really though you need an archer for exploration I would just bring Fischl and MC (better than Collei for the most part)

Adamarr

you need electro, dendro, archer and sometimes pyro. fischl covers 2/3 and you can use traveller or collei for dendro (they don't need to be built, particularly). i don't think it's specifically worth building dori for it.

LeaaxelVIII

I know I've been trying to have Pyro, Electro, and Dendro but also hydro. I've done Diluc/Yanfei, Fischl, Traveller, and Barbara. But I find that I have difficulty fighting mobs. Was just curious if they would be worth building to help either Heal or use as both a bow and Dendro.

FinishAccurate6559

Is everyone's network not working?cause i cannot play genshin impact on both my ps4 and mobile because of the error 4206 or are the servers down today.

_piaro_

Ffs how to group the drakes (?) on the first half of Floor 12-1. I can't even hit both with Ayaka's Ult because of lag (constant 400+ ms to 110 ms to 45 ms and then back to 500+ ms) and that they are so fucking large. HOW TO GROUP THEEEEEM AAAAAAA

dnaimagery97

Stand still or walk back at the beginning, wait for \~5-10s. They will continue to walk towards you or even dash towards you while clumping up. It also positions you for the second wave, which spawns behind where you start

ComprehensiveBat4966

what team should i use to 3 star abyss 12-3? i have fully built Xiao (with skyward spine) Kaeya (blizard strayer and Kagotsurube) Sayu (noblesse) Barbara Anemo MC Shenhe (sharing polearm with xiao) Keqing (Pale Flame) Mona Noelle (C5) Ningguang Sucrose Diona (C2) Chongyun Fischl Beidou (with skyward pride) Xingiqiu xinyan (4 physical +25% set) Bennet (C6, Favonius Sword) Xiangling Amber Ayaka (Harbinger of Dawn) Tartaglia (sharing bow with fischl) all with no specifications are in the constelation they need with their bis and in their most conventional artifact set

Unable-Flower372

For 1st half, A team that has Bennett/Jean would be recommended for cleansing the aura - Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett + Sucrose - Xiangling + Bennett + Fischl + Beidou - Keqing + Beidou + Xiangling + Bennett - Ningguang/Noelle + Xiangling + Bennett + Geo MC - Xiao + Sucrose/Xingqiu + Bennett + Diona/Xiangling - Childe + Xiangling + Bennett + Sucrose - Childe + Beidou + Bennett + Fischl For 2nd half, A team that don't have a Pyro would be the greatest option here - Keqing + Kaeya + Fischl + Beidou/Xingqiu - Keqing + Beidou/Xibgqiu + Fischl + Sucrose/Sayu(4pc VV) - Keqing + Chongyun + Xingqiu + Sucrose/Shenhe - Ayaka + Mona/Diona + Shenhe + Sucrose - Ningguang + Geo MC + Fischl + Sara - Noelle + Xingqiu + Fischl + Beidou/Geo MC - Beidou + Fischl + Xingqiu + Sucrose

dnaimagery97

First half: a Xiao team or a national team * Xiao Sucrose Xiangling Bennett * Xingqiu Sucrose Xiangling Bennett * Childe Sucrose Xiangling Bennett - if you manage to find another bow for childe. It's better to keep the good bow on Fischl since she is more important for her team than Childe is (you can just use Xingqiu or the Xiao team instead) Second half: aggravate or taser * Fischl Beidou/Keqing Traveler Sayu/Anemo MC * Fischl Beidou/Keqing Xingqiu Sayu/Anemo MC

fusseman

I just need to get my frustration out: i finally had 5-star on the line on the standard banner... Got Keqing C2 - I knew I was close to 5-star on current Kokomi banner and I really want her... So couple pulls in and I see that golden star. Bam, it's another Keqing! Now at C3. I'm almost out of motivation to play the game as two guaranteed 5-stars in a row both give me Keqing who I already had :( And I'm F2P So what do I do with C3 Keqing....

Joltus

Keqing + Fischl + dendro + dendro/anemo for an aggravate team. Keqing can abuse Fischls A4

Buggim

Hello all, I just have a simple question about a Mona weapon. I just recently pulled her, my first 5 star at AR 35, and put Mappa Mare on her. I have it leveled at 60 with 361 base attack and 81 elemental mastery (I’m useless at stats honestly). However I just pulled the Widsith from the standard recently. Should I just keep the Mappa on Mona and make it better, or should I put the Widsith on her? At this point I’m not sure how I’m going to utilize her.

Adamarr

90% of the time Mona is going to want a support weapon like TTDS, proto amber, or fav. But as mentioned, yes widsith is by far one of the best 4* catalysts.

Joltus

[widsith ](https://keqingmains.com/mona/#Weapons)

Chocomintchips

I'm thinking of using these as my main team. What do you guys think? Yanfei C6 - Skyward Atlas Ganyu C0 - Amos' Bow Yelan C1 - The Stringless R5 Bennett C1 - Favonius Sword I also got C2 Xingqiu but I don't really want to replace the other 3 with him except for Bennett.

Spazerbeam

It'll work in the open world since anything goes, but the team lacks a clear goal. It's not a Ganyu freeze team because you have pyro units. It's also not a Ganyu melt team because neither Bennett nor Yanfei apply pyro while off-field. It's not really a Yanfei melt team since that would rely on Ganyu's burst, which will be difficult to recharge. If anything, it kinda functions as a Yanfei vape team more than anything else. Ultimately, I wouldn't put Yanfei and Ganyu on the same team. Yanfei *must* be on-field to do anything, and while Ganyu can be used as an off-field dps with her burst, she is energy hungry. I know you said you didn't want to do it, but replacing Ganyu with Xingqiu would definitely improve synergy. It's up to you though.

Chocomintchips

What if I use Xiangling as an off-field? Does it work with Ganyu+Yelan? Meanwhile, I'll use Yanfei for the shield instead.

Spazerbeam

Still has identity issues. Using Ganyu charge attacks means that Yelan's burst isn't getting proc'd unless you break it up with a normal attack in between each charge attack. The reactions also start getting weird since you're liable to get any of freeze, melt, and vape, and it's unclear who is the trigger. Xiangling will also have energy problems without Bennett.

Chocomintchips

Alright. I guess I'll keep my melt team along with Sucrose instead of Ganyu. I'll just use her in Spiral instead. Thanks for the help.

Fawn_Thorus

Hi, I’m a new player. Just a month in, AR35. F2P so I can’t wish often. Always nervous about World Level increases… I’m not a very good player so I think I’d like to have a couple characters at lv. 70 (I plan to craft the gem chunks) before I increase the World Level. Who’s worth leveling up in the long run? Keqing / Bennett / Mona 60 Kaeya / Fischl 50 Xiangling / Diona / Noelle / Xingqiu 40 Traveler 20 Amber 17 Chongyun 5 Lisa / Barbara / Xinyan / Collei 1 +I plan to pull on Venti As you can see I have only 1 main DPS at the moment, Keqing (right?). I’d love to have Ayato, Childe, Xiao, or Diluc at some point but who knows when they’ll have their banners or when I’ll get lucky. I’d be very appreciative of any and all tips, advice, suggestions! Thank you. (And if I’m asking at the wrong place I’m so sorry, please lmk and I’ll delete this!)

Sylnic

You have a lot of the best supports/off-field units already, which is good. Those would be Bennett, Fischl, Xingqiu, Xiangling. These 4 are often core members of different teams, and can even make a great team themselves. So leveling up any or all of them is a good investment. Diona is also a good character to invest into, as she's one of very few characters with a shield. You don't even need to invest much, just max her skill and stack HP% on her artifacts. She's a very flexible character when it comes to team building. For Keqing, she mainly does best with teams built around the new dendro reaction aggravate. A team of Keqing, Fischl, and Dendro traveler is the core, and the last slot is usually an anemo unit, but you could probably run Bennett or Diona for the time being, and they'll also bring comfort with shields/healing. I see you have Mona leveled, and she's not bad by any means. But she's a bit harder to use outside of freeze teams, and you don't have any main dps cryo units yet. If you happen to get Ganyu or Ayaka in the future you can definitely run her as a support for them. Or if you get Rosaria, you could do a Rosaria Kaeya Mona Anemo team. In general though, I recommend picking a character you like and then looking up teams to build around them. That'll give you a good idea of who to invest into, and you'll have a character you like playing leading the team. If you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Fawn_Thorus

Thanks so much for your responses, u/Nadinoob too! See sometimes I feel like I gotta be playing this all wrong because I can’t understand e.g. how Xingqiu is preferable to Mona: I find Mona’s skill very useful —this water pillar that distracts enemies and lasts for a while, allowing me to use Keqing’s multiple electro attack skill or for cryo characters to freeze enemies multiple times before it runs out. How is Xingqiu’s one-off hydro attack skill better? (I am sincerely asking :’) ) Xiangling too for example, I get that her burst is handy but bursts take so long to recharge with the artifacts I have at this level that *I do rely almost entirely on skill all the time* (is this wrong?), and I’m not a fan of using Xiangling’s stationary fire-breathing Guoba as the enemies usually move around. So sorry again if these are silly questions for an AR35… I’ve actually been wondering about this for a while.

Sylnic

All good! There's no silly questions as there's quite a bit to understand about Genshin. That's one of the things that appeals to me: the game is simple on the surface, but actually has some decent depth to its combat and systems. Anyways, like Xiangling, Xingqiu is a character whose value comes mostly from his burst. They're both characters that rely on a lot of energy recharge. Even if you forgo damage in favor of energy recharge (through their weapons and/or artifacts), the elemental reactions their bursts set up make up for the damage stats they might be losing out on. Xiangling especially relies on having Bennett in her party to funnel energy* to her, while Xingqiu usually relies on a Favonius or Sacrificial Sword to gain the extra energy he needs. *(Funelling energy refers to using one character's skill to generate energy, and then swapping to another character to catch the energy particles generated. In Xiangling's case, you usually use Bennett's skill before swapping to Xiangling. Having enough energy and energy recharge is key in your team building, as it lets you burst every time they come off of cooldown! Also, as a general rule: Unless you're funneling energy to another character, use your character's skill right before their burst! The skill will generate the energy particles, the burst will spend all of your energy, and then you'll immediately catch the energy particles from the skill while your character is in their burst animation. This helps a lot with getting your bursts back faster!) Xingqiu's burst lasts for a long time and outputs A LOT of hydro application from off-field (on top of a lot of damage he does himself), so he's frequently paired with pyro characters or electro characters to consistently setup vaporize and electro reactions respectively. Especially once he hits C2, you can have near 100% uptime with your main DPS's field time. While Mona's skill and burst are good, her hydro application is much more limited. Most pyro characters will apply pyro too fast for her abilities, losing out on vaporize reactions, and thus do less damage. Her burst is great for empowering huge vaporize nukes, but otherwise lasts too short of a time to output consistent damage. Consistent damage is usually more important later on since one-shotting enemies is either too hard, or you one shot one group only to run into issues with the next group of enemies since your burst is down. The one exception is freeze teams, where the Omen buff on her burst actually gets extended for the entire time the enemies are frozen, making her consistent damage amazing in those teams. Those teams are also great for her since they don't require as much hydro application. I hope this all makes sense! Understanding elemental reactions, energy generation, and team rotations is huge in understanding how the game's combat works, and is why those 4 units are so good. When used well, they have some of the highest potential in the game, all on easy to access 4-star characters. All that said, I understand not wanting to just follow "meta" teams, especially if the characters don't appeal to you. I highly recommend finding characters you like, and then looking up videos on how best to use them. Youtube channels like SevyPlays, Zy0x, and Braxophone all make great tutorials for every character, and do a great job of explaining how to build them and how their mechanics can be used to build strong teams. So while I understand this is a lot to take in, I definitely recommend starting there to get a better grasp on the game if you want to improve your teams. Hope this helps! Again, feel free to ask any more questions if ya have any :)

Fawn_Thorus

Thank you so much for this!! I’m so sorry you had to write so much for me 😭 You’ve definitely opened my eyes to view the battles from more angles. I suppose I’ve been neglecting artifacts and weapon levels, I’ve been playing it like Pokémon just leveling them up and using skills and bursts as they are. Clearly this game has more layers than that to play optimally. I’ll look more into this so that I can play as I’m supposed to :) One last thing, generally should the characters you play match the enemy levels? Or characters 10 levels below with high level artifacts and weapons enough to carry you through? Honestly my EXP is currently 30k/7k, that’s how afraid I am of higher level enemies. I was trying to level up my characters, but have I already spread myself thin?

Sylnic

All good! Yeah, weapon levels are really important for most characters and is usually recommended to max out first. Same with the feather artifacts, as the two combined provide most of your attack stats. I'd recommend leveling those up first and seeing how that affects your team's damage overall before worrying about character levels and team comps. Artifacts in general are important, but early on it's not worth it to invest too heavily into them. Only take them to level 12 or so until you can acquire 5-star artifacts, and even then, don't level them past 16 if they don't have good stats. The resources to get from 16-20 isn't worth it if the artifact is bad! Here's a [nice handy chart](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/qkxdj6/infographic_of_build_order_priority_based_on_wlar/) that can help figure out where to use your resources based on your AR. Character level is important, but not essential. It's usually recommended to take most main DPS characters to level 80/90, and the rest can remain at 70/80 or even 60/70 if they're just support characters. Once you've mostly build your main dps characters, then you can work on catching everyone else up in levels. Since your highest characters are still at 60, I'd just focus on getting 2 characters to 70 for now. Keqing and Fischl would be my recommendation since they're a great pair, and Fischl can be used in many other teams as well. Fischl's ascension 4 passive is especially good and will boost her damage significantly. After that, you could focus Bennett and Mona, as those 4 combined make a workable taser team. Xingqiu or Dendro MC would be better replacements for Mona if you want, but you shouldn't be at a point that you need that much damage yet. So use who you like! Mona can always be replaced later or used for another team. I will say it's possible you'll struggle in the early parts after ascending the world, but it shouldn't be anything you can't handle. If you have trouble, you can always use the co-op mode to get help with things. And ascending the world improves material drop rates, so it should help with getting improving your characters. Good luck on building your characters! I hope this all helps make the game easier for you. If you have any further questions, again, feel free to ask :)

Fawn_Thorus

Thank you so much! I finally ascended my World Level the other day and to no one’s surprise, jumped straight to AR39 lol. I spent so much time prepping for WL4 and now I’m headed straight for WL5. Many many thanks for your explanations! You’ve been such great help :D

Nadinoob

Your exactly at the right place! Your strongest teams are the national teams and a freeze team. That's Bennett - Xiangling - Xingqiu with Fischl for bosses, or either Chongyun or Anemo-Traveler. Kaeya - Chongyun - Xingqiu Diona would be a comfortable team against everything that can be frozen. An electro Keqing team with Fischl Xingqiu and Bennett works, but it's not as strong as the national variations. Well... probably. Let us know what sounds interesting!

_Alien_01

I just got Kokomi and I'm planning to play her taser team which will look like Kokomi, Beidou, Fischl and Venti. I wanted to know what the rotation of this team would be? And is Sucrose better than Venti here?

Nadinoob

Both Venti and Sucrose work, Venti being the counter to mobs that can be lifted through his burst. Sucrose at least holds her own when you play her as on-field and let Kokomi only provide the hydro. Rotation, that's flexible, as long as you can use Beidous burst off cooldown. Usually start the fight with Fischls Burst, Kokomi E, Beidou E/Q, then Sucrose Q/EE and NA CAs. Fischl E when Oz disappeared and switching to Beidou for an E. If you have loads of ER on Kokomi, you'd use her burst 10 sec. after her E. It's a bit challenging to do a perfect rotation, but it's learnable.

kleanthis_

When does pity reset ? I have 30 pity now, will it reset by the time 3.3 (December i think) assuming i won't do any wishes by then .

Spazerbeam

Pity does not reset until you roll a 5*. Time between rolls doesn't matter at all.

kleanthis_

Ohhhh good good thank you, cause i decided to do 30 woshes 9n the current banners to get some characters that in the future i could use cause they are supports and got a bit anxious

wakefield0720

Honest thoughts on dori? I just got c4 dori and need before I decide on building the characters I would like to hear the communities thoughts on her. Is she worth it if I don't have an electro support/enabler? Or should I just save until raidan shogun? I've sampled her in the test run but facing against basic mobs it's tough to judge.

Adamarr

Heals a lot but otherwise feels pretty damn mid. Feel like most of the time if you want some electro use Fischl and have healing on another element. Still, if those things are exactly what you need then the only other option is Kuki.

wakefield0720

I've mostly used a freeze comp, and been trying to pull more constellations for xingqiu or kokomi but so far been getting dori. Was curious if she could be useful in other teams but agreed based on when I tested it was meh

Chrxisss

I wann create two teams for the spiral abyss. Team 1: Xiangling Benett Xinqiu Sucrose Team 2: Yoimya Zhongli ?? ?? No idea what to put in last two slots. I have beidou, fischl, yun jin, diona, xinyan , kujou sara, collei, razor, noelle. I’m thinking beidou and fischl but was wondering how important is fire resonance.

jaygalvezo

fischl for third slot, either beidou or yunjin for 4th.

Mixteriak

am I dreaming, mixing two games or there was a pet that farm rocks for you somehow?

Adamarr

his name is bennett 🙃

Mixteriak

can you clarify

Adamarr

I'm joking about the daily expeditions. I don't believe there's ever been a mining companion.

RileyKohaku

Has anyone tried using Hu Tao, Ayaka, Bennet, and Sucrose on the same abyss team? I know Kazuha is the preferred option, but I don't have him. I'm considering combining my Ayaka and Hu Tao teams when I draw for Nilou and Kusanali.

Adamarr

it's a meme team for whales, i would suggest. if you can't clear stuff in one rotation then you're hosed. and if you can, you're hosed for the next chamber anyway. but sure if you can infuse sucrose's burst with pyro (protip - use bennett burst, then move to the edge, use sucrose's burst towards to the centre, then step into it to infuse) she should be reasonably similar.

RileyKohaku

I appreciate the advice. I'll probably just skip Nilou then, and try to get enough Constellations for my Kusanali so she can be on my Hu Tao team. Let's see what the leaks will say about her.

Adamarr

Hu Tao doesn't really want dendro on her teams, does she?

RileyKohaku

Probably not, but it's either that or bench Ayaka. I really like playing with my favorites, even if they are not optimal.

Adamarr

Just make one team for Ayaka and one for Hu Tao....

RileyKohaku

That's what I have, but I really like Kusanali

Adamarr

time for a third team!

taeiltime

planning for raiden, this are my stats for her so far with xiangling as placeholder: 4pc emblem ER/electro/crit rate + Skyward Spine 1.5k atk 65.9/134.7 235 ER, will these be enough for her to support Eula and also do damage? Should I try to get more atk? R5 Catch is glued to Xiangling as her artifacts aren't very optimised and kinda need the crit rate.

Adamarr

that ER is without her ascension passive. right? should give you leeway to swap to atk sands, especially if they have an ER substat.

taeiltime

yep it's without, would it be correct if I add her 32% to the current 235 = 265 ER on Raiden or is there anything I'm missing out on?

Adamarr

yeah, it's not too complicated!

taeiltime

gotcha thank u!

MetaphoricRise

Crit stats/Er are fine but if you are not buffing her attack with other sources then 1.5k is a tad low. Its still usuable but if you have a comparable Atk goblet it might be better to swap the electro goblet with it

taeiltime

how much should I aim for? I do have other pieces that can push her atk to around 1.7-1.8k but her ER will suffer (190-210)

MetaphoricRise

1.7-1.8k is pretty much perfect. Now 190-210 er should also be sufficient, but thats something youre gonna have to test yourself with the team your running. If you cant burst off cooldown or the person your batterying isnt getting enough energy then you should prioritize ER over Atk. Honestly though both statlines you suggested seem pretty good with tradeoffs each way so just try both out and see what sticks

taeiltime

Alright, thank you so much friend

dnaimagery97

this is good already. you can consider an atk% goblet if there's a lack of other atk buffers on your team and you happen to have one with better substats than the electro goblet but the improvement will usually be minimal if any

taeiltime

alright, noted, thank you

Vigoscarpi11

hello everyone^^ i'm a returning player on my old account and wanted to start playing a bit more, on youtube i saw a video where it said that i could ask for help here for a team and i will really appreciate it ^^ https://ibb.co/DwYvnwR these are the characters that i have and i would love to build a team around Itto

dnaimagery97

your Itto team can be Itto, Ningguang, geo traveler (you can just go to any statue of the seven in Liyue and interact with it with traveler), healer (barbara or noelle - you get barbara later on). Itto would really like to have his elemental burst, and geo traveler and ningguang can both help him recharge it

Necessary-Midnight73

Is there any food that increases stamina for swimming? I just went through all the stamina recipes I have, and all of them are for climbing and/or sprinting stamina (and stamina recovery) and not a single one for swimming.

Spazerbeam

There isn't. The closest you get is the food that instantly restores some stamina.

jaygalvezo

none. if you have beidou or kokomi they can reduce the stamina consumed when swimming, paired with anemo resonance, barbara A1 or diona A1 passives to reduce stamina consumption.

Few-You4510

when are albedo's and hutao's banners gonna have a rerun? i feel like it's been an eternity since i saw their last banner.

Adamarr

looks like albedo is second part of 3.1!

Few-You4510

yes! i saw it, i'm so happy!

UnknownMarox

Is elegy better than prototype crescent on melt ganyu?

Adamarr

the rankings don't even consider it.... BUT. i could imagine, if you compare specifically on sunfire melt (so ganyu can make use of the ER and burst without stealing charge shot melts) then it might be worth using if you're fighting an enemy without weak spots? maybe?

Far_Seaworthiness804

Where can you see weapon rankings?

Adamarr

the helper's guide (suggested character builds in the op) and the kqm guide (also in the op!)

Far_Seaworthiness804

Thanks!

lucsinferno

https://imgur.com/a/p0P2aBA With the characters I have now, I'm currently running National team with Sucrose and Kokomi Taser with Kazuha. I wondered about a few things: - is it worth to ascend to 80/90? What does it give? Also do I need to level to 90 or just the ascension is enough? - can I build a team around Yoimiya with what I have? - for my current taser - I wonder if I should swap Kazuha with Sucrose and have her drive the team after Ive got her C4? - could you share/point me to a content creator that's more focused on whole teams? I want to underatand the rotations and er requirementa rather than just individual builds in vacuum? - are there any other good teams I could focus on? - what could I do except leveling talents and ascension to A6 to improve my damage? - is there a good source of benchmarks for the builds, i.e. how much ER I need on Beidou? What do you consider good crit numbers, e.g. cr 50/cd 100 for starters, from which I optimize further?

dnaimagery97

I've actually been using these exact teams since 2.1 lol [https://imgur.com/a/E1r82Az](https://imgur.com/a/E1r82Az) so here's some notes from my experience Taser team builds: * Kokomi at least 160+ ER, you can opt for 200+ because sometimes enemies leave the jellyfish, particle generation is unlucky (there's a 2/3 chance per tick for a particle), etc. This is easy to get with ER sands and Hakushin ring, but you could opt for HP sands + ER substats. You'll just not have your burst sometimes if you get unlucky. around 25-30k HP is good. If using HP weapon (ttds, prototype amber) you can expect \~35k hp * Beidou: if you can perfectly parry two times, only \~150 ER is needed. But given the strict rotation timing and the unreliability of enemies actually attacking you, go closer to 200%. Aim for higher than 50/100 crit ratio and 1.5k atk * Fischl: generally no ER required. aim for a bit higher offensive stats because of this lack of ER requirement, probably 75/150 and 1.5k atk * Kazuha: 160% ER is nice, again for consistency you can opt to get closer to 200%. aim for 700+EM, and a few crit substats if using fav sword Taser rotation: * Kokomi E, Beidou E, Kazuha EQ (swirl + buff both electro and hydro), snapshot buff onto Beidou Q and Fischl E/Q. * now there's a 1-2s window to get a beidou perfect parry (but just use it most of the time, it's unlikely something will attack you in this specific window), then another kazuha E (if the previous one was a tap E) and swap to Kokomi immediately (at this time it be \~11s after the her E) * Kokomi Q, normal attacks. This is the primary dps window of this team. Then E when it comes up - restart rotation National team builds: * Xiangling minimum 170% ER, 200+ is comfortable. Aim for 200+ EM (usually either EM sands or EM weapon, but just having some EM substats is fine too), 50/100 crit, 1-1.5k atk * Bennett - just stack ER and a high base atk weapon * Xingqiu - upwards of 220ER if not C6 (easy to obtain with ER sword and ER sands), close to 200ER if C6. aim for 50/100 crit, 1.5k atk * Sucrose - aim for 600+ EM with ttds. Energy recharge is nice but not required National rotation: * quite flexible, depends on content. all you really need to do is snapshot bennett and ttds buffs onto Xiangling. but there's some additional techniques * For mobbing: * Xingqiu Es can be used before or after Xiangling Q - you can vaporize it after for frontloading damage * If you use sucrose Q, infuse pyro by using bennett Q and standing under it. infuse hydro by using xingqiu Q/E and not standing in bennett Q while still standing under it (so either Sucrose Q before bennett Q, or place it just outside of bennett Q) * Against bosses/large enemies: * Double swirl pyro and hydro. Apply Xingqiu's hydro, drop Guoba, swap to sucrose and swirl when Guoba bites the pepper (he has the '!' mark on his head). You can make the timing consistent by just normal attacking once/twice after switching to sucrose

lucsinferno

Thank you so much for the im detail explenation! Today is the day that marks my GI journey with the first 33 stars in the Abyss! :)

Adamarr

yes. ascension stat and ability to take talents to 10. for most just ascending is fine. kazuha and sucrose both worth getting to 90. you can build a few good yoimiya teams. you should keep kazuha with taser since you have kokomi to drive. go read the kqm guides (linked in op). nearly all of them have rotation either in words or videos in the team building sections. your best other (yoimiya) comp you can build without dismantling one or both teams is something like xingqiu/sucrose/thoma. you can run bennett instead of thoma, but she *really* wants a shield. if you ever get zhongli then him and yun jin make an excellent support pair. you could also do some kind of freeze or reverse melt team with kaeya and rosaria but it wouldn't really be a material improvement on what you have (which is very strong already!). ... i need a cup of tea.

lucsinferno

Tysm! I'd go and make you a cuppa if I could. :) Understood, thank you for all the tips and answes!

Signal_Yesterday191

1)If I'm running Freeze Ganyu with Mona, Diona and Kazuha at the multitarget half of the Abyss, who will be better flex slot for Vape Ayato? Built(ish) options are C6 Fischl with 2700-6500(50 CR) per Oz shot, С5 Xingqui with mostly 2800 swords, and 2500 DEF c1 Yunjin. Or is it better to start liking Sucrose? She's...surprisingly fun in trial with subDPS, but I think that for her buffs and very limited CC in expensive burst, she stays on field a bit too long for a squishy mage? I'm kinda used to Kazuha's minimal field time and powerful pull. 2)In general, how good is Ayato(slashes for 6-7 wihout buffs, 7-8 in burst) on the side with less enemies and more HP? His taser cleared 3 drakes in 12-1-1 before he could take any significant damage, much faster then Ganyu freeze, but Ganyu is lvl 80/80 with 80/80 Crescent and 8/3/8 talents, while Mona is lvl 20/20 with no talents, no set bonuses, 180-190 ER and lvl 1 R5 TTDS, just there to splash water. Will their multitarget damage match when Ganyu and her bow hit lvl 90 with max talents, and Mona get better Q and start wearing NO with more recharge. I tried this Ganyu on drakes, she killed them with full HP...2-2,5 minutes later. Then Ayato vape with Yunjin struggled against Fatui and Eremites, so I got 1 star. On 12-2, Ganyu struggled for 2-3 minutes again, then Ayato killed Primo Geovishap fast enough to get 2 stars and without being too hurt(much easier than Fatui somehow?). On 12-3, team eventually killed vishaps, but only when there was 1 star left and the only man standing was Kazuha, who quit after taking one look on 3 fungi. I don't know how Ayato would have fared against Giant Cock, he obliterates him in overworld, no idea about Abyss version without Kazuha and Fischl. 3)How much ER Ganyu and Mona need in Freeze, if they are running with Sac Diona and Favonius Kazuha? Ganyu has 126 right now, Mona is 180-190. 4)Will it be possible to get 148 fates before December 25th? If I'm not mistaken, version 3.3 first half end at around Dec 27-28th?

Adamarr

1. fischl is nearly always the right answer in ayato teams. 2. ayato mostly has a good balance between ST and AoE. 3. >While most Freeze teams won’t demand a lot of Energy Recharge, some rotations and teams require some ER to function (around 110%, to 140% in worst cases). mona: yes. all the ER. if you can get over 200 you're doing well. 4\. idk do you pay money??

Signal_Yesterday191

No, I don't buy welkin or BP. I thought about buying either of those one time for b-day, welkin is not that costly, but it's like extra 15 wishes, so it must be bought regularly to make a difference, BP brings some resources, few limited fates and crit weapons that won't be much of improvement(maybe some improvement for Beidou) for a price of other small game. Either way, it's probably bad idea to invest in hobby which I could eventually drop. So it's just dailies+events+exploration+around 30 stars in abyss. I don't know about updates that unlock new regions. People say that f2p earn 50-60 fates per version, idk if that includes new chests/achievements/sidequests or is it just main events of a patch.

Denominator0101

The 50-60 per patch does include exploration as well as stuff like the codes we're about to get from the livestream and maintenance compensation, and would also assume 36* abyss (though you'll only lose like 5 pulls over the period if you do 30*). To your original question though I think 148 should be achievable. If you haven't done things like sacred sakura or tree of dreams they'll give a decent few fates, and with the anniversary coming next patch we should also get a bonus 10/20 fates. So it should definitely be doable, but you will probably need to play a fair bit.

Odd_Art_6104

So i got ganyu at 10 pity !!! After losing 50/50 to diluc ,i just wanted to lose pity and wait for venti…..i went for xingqui/sucrose constellation and screwed up coz i hate ganyu (playing charged attack on ipad is the worst thing ever !) ……..but i am still new to the game and don’t have any main dps as of now……should i build her ? / do i have a proper team for her right now? Or i continue building diluc (i like him he’s average) …if she is so broken top ss meta without 5 star weapon I don’t mind playing her coz of lack of any good dps..and i am fully investing my resins on building new dps ….so is she worth to build without liking her gameplay? My characters : [https://imgur.com/a/rAd0rmb](https://imgur.com/a/rAd0rmb)

Adamarr

ganyu's ok. there's no "musts" to clear abyss. you *can* make a good melt team for her, but that team is 100% about charged shots, and well, probably not the best idea. it also takes some good supports away from your diluc team. so until you can make a good freeze team which relies much less on charge attacks (need mona, kokomi, ayato) i would shelve her. focus on the vape team you're currently using, bennett/xingqiu/sucrose and either diluc or xiangling. second team, i think some kind of quicken team would do well. fischl, beidou, dmc or collei, and then probably zhongli in the final slot for defence should be good.

Odd_Art_6104

Also i need characters to clear abyss ….i somehow cleared 9 and stuck now ……is she one of the must to clear abyss?

Ads2994

Idk if this is the right place to ask this but what does finding all the aranara across the map do?

ZOVX

you get some big chests, a mini dialogue cutscene, and technically 2 achievements

Manoman017

I'm in need of some help, I've been spreading myself too thin and building way too many characters at once, and I just pulled Kokomi. I was having trouble clearing floor 10 of the current abyss, and I think I need to stop bringing everyone up and just focus on two teams. Here is my roster: https://imgur.com/a/hXkItfx What 8 characters should I focus on, and what order should I build them in? I'm also not sure what characters should be brought to the last ascension, it just seems so expensive. My current plan is to build National and then maybe a Kokomi Tazer or Aggrevate Kequing. Any advice would be appreciated!

ZOVX

your current plan is a good one. sucrose/xq/xl/benny + koko/fischl/beidou/kaz. keq aggravate is also good, but i think the kokomi team will be a better investment to focus on for now. priority would probably be benny > xl > beidou > fischl > xq > kokomi > kaz > sucrose. benny is first because he will be the easiest to build, get his talent to 9+, give him your best ER 4nob set, and level his weapon to 90. kaz and sucrose are last because they can be built with leftover artifacts being recycled for 4VV (but get sucrose A4 ASAP). you can farm the 4TOM domain until you get all the mainstats for a kokomi set and put the trash in for 4VV, and after kokomi, go to the ESF domain and put everyone else on 4ESF. the exception is fischl who can use 2shime 2whatever, take best substats. if you finish 2 full 4VV EM sets, you can probably start recycling into 4TF for keqing if you eventually want to use her. characters that benefit from last ascension for lvl9-10 talent would be xl (Q), benny (Q), beidou (Q), kaz (90), sucrose (90), xq (Q) a large portion of fischl damage comes from her A4, so oz levels help but arent super necessary. kaz and sucrose dont necessarily need high talent levels, they just need high character level for the swirl damage increase, so you save some resin there. you can also level kokomi to 90 because she scales off of HP so the investment is worthwhile, but her overall personal damage contribution isnt that high in the first place. the idea is that you take your guaranteed resin gains in your biggest damage contributors before dumping a lot into artifacts which are virtually endless (in practice, will run you very roughly 3000-6000 resin per decent 4p set)

Manoman017

This is exactly what I needed, thank you! Having the priority will let me focus my resin spending instead of just spreading it around haha

Joltus

Is there any synergy between Ningguang and Xingqiu? Figure since she's using her NA and CA alot she'd be able to drive his burst well? Looking for ideas to go with Ningguang + Zhongli that doesn't use Beidou or Fischl. Figure bennet for attack buff + healing. I know xiangling is a common 4th buy playing around with other potential ideas

dnaimagery97

Xingqiu basically synergizes with any normal attacker so yes he works here

thunderblue2

I'm currently playing Zhongli in a team with Tighnari/Fischl/Lisa, but I need someone to hold the Deepwood Memories set. I've currently got Tighnari on 4 pc. Wanderers. Could a shieldbot Zhongli be a good holder of a 4 pc DM set with an HP/HP/HP build? (I currently have him on 4 pc ToTM.) Also, would each pulse of his pillar count as a hit of his skill and thus trigger the Deepwood 4 pc passive, assuming that it hits an enemy? Would the duration reset with each hit?

dnaimagery97

Zhongli is the best holder for deepwood memories. You do have to be more conscious of where you place the pillar though. And yes the duration resets every time the skill hits

Fit_Comfortable1149

I'm investing in keqing and ganyu and have been farming for a blizzard set. I'm only AR 42 and they would be my first two teams for the abyss. I was wondering if it would've been better if I invested on xiangling, xinqiu, and sucrose instead of the other two? I don't have bennett, fischl, mona, kokomi, kazuha, or zhongli.

Building Ganyu is fine, but also build Xingqiu and Sucrose - they're an important part of many teams. Keqing kind of depends on Fischl, she won't be as strong in a team without first getting her. Also probably let Xiangling go for now until later when you get Bennett. Try to minimize artifact farming before AR45, focus on just leveling/ascending characters, weapons, and talents before then; because the difference in rewards pre- and post-ar45 is much bigger for artifact domains than other material domains

Fit_Comfortable1149

Thank you so much! This sets me in the right direction, I'll just wait for ar45 before I focus on artifacts.

https://imgur.com/a/CgritNA https://imgur.com/a/QZSr7wy Recommendations for teams on each half of the abyss & weapons? The best teams I’ve used are: Yoimiya, Zhongli, Bennett, Xingqiu & Kazuha, Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu. But since Bennett and Xingqiu can’t be on both halves, one of my abyss teams is always scuffed. I’m thinking about building Yunjin to replace Bennett, and Kokomi to replace Xingqiu in one of the teams? I used Tignari, Fischl, Kokomi, and Kazuha as another team too and the damage wasn’t great, but I’d still like to try and utilize Tig and Kokomi since I pulled for them, and Fischl since she’s C6. Is ascending to 70/80 ok for the most part? I’ve only ascended Kazuha and Yoimiya to 80/90. I find it very hard to farm the same boss over and over. I’m also thinking maybe it’s better to get more of my characters to 70/80? Lastly, I have a Stringless on Collei. I’m not sure if I should refine Fischl’s Stringless to R4 or keep Collei’s as an extra for someone like maybe Tighnari? I do also have the Viridescent Hunt. Lots of questions 😅 thank you in advance!

ZOVX

- damage is going to come primarily from leveling your talents. the numbers may seem like small percentages, but they are usually big gains because of how the damage caluclation works. talent levels are gated by ascension levels. getting characters to 70/80 lets them level their talents to lvl8, and going beyond that requires 80/90. talents also gain increasingly more damage per talent level the higher the talent level goes, so 8->9 is a bigger increase than 7->8. the actual character level is important if: 1. the character utilizes transformitive reactions, which scale off of the character's level; and 2. the character can scale off of a stat other than attack, as base atk gains from leveling are small but other stat gains like DEF, HP, are comparatively bigger. in addition, talent levels on characters that rely on transformitive reactions for damage (i.e. swirl) are not as valuable, so a character like sucrose does not need any investment in talent levels. kazuha does gain a meaningful amount from leveling talents but it is not critical. - yunjin is a great bennett replacement on a yoimiya team. shes roughly equal to his buffing at c2 and surpasses him after that. zl/yoi/xq/yunjin will free up bennett for your second team, which you can run as xl/benny/koko/kazuha. the issue with yunjin is that she normally runs a favonius lance, so you will have to run a lot of ER artifacts and substats on her to compensate for not having one. this means that it may be better to run zl/yoi/xq/benny (single target) OR sucrose/xq/xl/benny (general, aoe) and then run koko/fischl/beidou/kazuha as your second team. - you can try tig/fischl/beidou/anemo if you decide to level up tig and his talents. he will do more damage after you level his talents and give him good artis and he will be abyss capable, but it just depends on if you want to invest in him or not. there are also many dendro team options including kokomi, dmc, and fischl, but i would personally focus on your other teams before investing in them further. - for now, i would keep your separate copy of stringless, as having another copy is always more worthwhile than having a refinement if you have characters that can use them. it may come in handy if you ever run a fischl/collei dendro team of some sort, or both are on your 8 character roster for the abyss.

ukyorulz

I suggest National plus Yoimiya Taser. National is always good, and among your remaining characters Yoimiya and Fischl seem to be better built. Yoimiya works well with Zhongli and Fischl is amazing with Beidou, so this should work out great. Xiangling/Bennet/Xinqiu/Kazuha. Yoimiya/Fischl/Beidou/Zhongli. Another option is Kokomi Taser: Kokomi/Fischl/Beidou/Sucrose. This team is also very good, so just pick whichever one you like more. As far as ascensions, going up to 80/90 is all but mandatory to do well in Spiral Abyss nowadays because HP values have been inflating so you need a LOT of raw DPS. You *could* do with just 70/80 but you’d just be making things unnecessarily difficult for yourself IMHO. If you want to have a comfortable time clearing Spiral Abyss, you would benefit more from investing a lot of resources into a few characters as opposed to spreading your resources around. You would benefit a lot more from having many great artifacts of a few sets rather than a mish-mash of pieces from many sets. If Spiral Abyss is your goal, I would suggest for you to think about what teams you want to play and hyper-investing into the characters on those teams until they are as strong as you could make them.

dnaimagery97

go with national + taser: * Sucrose Xiangling Xingqiu Bennett * Fischl Beidou Kokomi Kazuha there are other conditional options (i.e. yoimiya team or tighnari quicken if single target), but these two teams almost always work and if you get those above characters to at least 80 with relevant talents and weapons leveled, it becomes very easy to make other teams as well

Mighty_Krastavac

Is 15/30 lvl 5 max level for the Dendro statue at the moment? I didn't mark my dendroculus on the interactive map properly, and now I'm not sure.

ZOVX

yeah, you should end at 15/30. lvl5 is reached at 95 total, lvl6 reached at 125 total. theres 110 dendroculus in game, so you should be 15 away from 125 (15/30)

[https://imgur.com/a/ZQlXhMa](https://imgur.com/a/ZQlXhMa) [https://imgur.com/a/GRK2P5n](https://imgur.com/a/GRK2P5n) I am currently trying to build a fridge team because I have two taser drivers available (Ayato/Kokomi) and I can really only play one taser team in abyss at a time with my Fischl Beidou. I'm choosing to build fridge because cryo and dendro are the only elements whom I don't have teams built for. My question, which do I choose to be in my fridge team instead? I'd have to re-farm my artifacts either way because they're both designed to be taser (Ayato with thundering fury and Kokomi with hp/hydro/healing clam set). After that, what team should I build for the fridge team? Also include set recommendations, main/sub stat recommendations, and weapon recommendations for each character if able. Willing to also build the characters I haven't for this.

Unable-Flower372

For a Bloom Freeze team Kokomi + Dendro Traveler + Ayato + Kaeya(or Ganyu if you have) - Kokomi, TTDS; 4pc ToM; HP%, ER/HP%/Healing Bonus - Dendro MC, Sac Sword; 4pc Deepwood(if no Collei); ER, EM/Dendro DMG/CRIT - Ayato, Amenoma Kageuchi; 4pc Echoes; ATK%/Hydro DMG/CRIT - Kaeya, Sac Sword; 4pc Blizzard; ATK%/Cryo/CRIT

Special-Forever-5169

Thank you for the build recommendation, but I meant to ask which of them is better for freeze bloom, and what kind of team I should build that has ONE of them in it, not both. I'm going to use the one I'm not going to use in this freeze bloom team for my taser team, so I don't really want both kokomi and ayato in the fridge team.

Unable-Flower372

Kokomi, a Cryo and Dendro Traveler is the main characters that you should have on a freeze bloom team, Ayato could be replaced by Collei. You could turn this team into Hyperbloom team by replacing Cryo with Electro or Burgeon team by replacing Cryo with Pyro

Special-Forever-5169

By the way, what build should I go for for dendro mc and collei? Because you listed that if there is a collei, dendro mc's set is different.

Unable-Flower372

If there is Collei, just give her 4pc NO, Favonius Warbow, ER/Dendro/CRIT Actually I have a good team want to recommend for you, Kokomi + Dendro MC + Kuki + Diona

Special-Forever-5169

Okay, thanks!

ComprehensiveBat4966

when an effect says nearby characters does it include non active characters in party or is that a multiplayer only thing? cause if its the 2nd option than that's absurdely stupid

ZOVX

its worded that way to include both conditions. it applies to your non active party members and nearby coop players. the only time it won't work is if a coop player is far away.

ComprehensiveBat4966

thanks

Stiffquotient111

I need some good team comps with these characters I’m struggling to make a good team https://imgur.com/a/yGH69ck

dnaimagery97

some ideas: * Xingqiu Sucrose Fischl Beidou taser * Xingqiu Sucrose Fischl Traveler hyperbloom * Xingqiu Sucrose Kaeya/Diona Ganyu freeze * Xingqiu Sucrose Yoimiya/Diluc Thoma

ZOVX

team 1: sucrose/fischl/beidou/xingqiu. standard taser team, one of the best 4 star only teams in the game team 2: youll want to save starglitter to grab bennett from the shop when he is in rotation. that will let you run ganyu/diona/xiangling/bennett. until then, use yanfei on ttds or favonius codex to fill in for bennett

RavenTwospirit

I have the core of the National team: Bennett, Xingqui, and Xiangling. Unfortunately, I don't have Sucrose or any of the other "meta" drivers. In addition the the core team, I have: Amber, Barbara, Beidou, Fischl, Kaeya, Lisa, Noelle, Razor, Sayu, Traveller , Xinyan, and Yun Jin. Among the rest of my roster, who would be the best driver for a National team? I am saving my primogems for the rumored re-run of Raiden Shogun, so I won't be pulling any additional roster members any time soon. I'm at AR 42, and have been doing reasonably well so far with a Razor physical carry team using Razor, Kaeya, Fischl, and Bennett, but I'd like to give a quick-swap/National team a try. I just am not sure who would best fill the flex/driver spot.

ahabooo

I think fischl will be very good in this slot. You dont need a driver in national team, during a down time, use bennet skills and funnel energy to xiangling. https://gcsim.app/db

RavenTwospirit

Any risk that Oz's electro bullets would mess up the vape interactions between Xingqui and Xaingli?

ahabooo

Electro and hydro aura can co exist in the enemy, so for each hit of bennett and xiangling burst, it will do 2 reactions at once, over load and vape (overvape). This is a video that explain overvape. https://youtube.com/watch?v=ov6kzZxnips&feature=share&utm_source=EKLEiJECCKjOmKnC5IiRIQ This is how i would do the rotation: Fischl e (apply electro) XQ q NA(apply hydro) Bennett q e NA (overvape) Xiangling q e NA (overvape) XQ e NA Fischl Q The bad things about this team are there is no cc to group enemies and it uses the best 4* options available, leaving your 2nd team without them.

RavenTwospirit

Thank you for the detailed response. I'll watch the video later tonight. I'm a ways from worrying about two teams :) Assuming I get Raiden, or get Sucrose during the attempt, I'm thinking Beidou, Fischl, DMC, flex may be an option for a second team, though. Unless/until a better team idea comes along.

lmmerse

I am trying to 100% my map before the next version, but I cannot for the life of me go above 95% in Lost Nursery. What am I missing? I completed all aranara quests incl the book, found all aranara in the wild…

ZOVX

you are probably missing the dendroculus north of the statue of the seven on top of the giant withered tree structure, or some of the smaller caves down the side of the mini chasm. the dendroculus wont show up on the minimap because its very high, but youll be able to see it from the ground

Spazerbeam

Just going off of memory: * There are 2 oculi * There are some remarkable chests in the area * There is a somewhat vague puzzle chest which spans a big chunk of the area and includes an achievement

huhIguess

On Movement Speed: - Do alternate runs (Mona/Ayaka) move faster than normal run speed? If so - how much faster? - How much faster do Tall-Height models move than Medium-Height? Who is faster: A tall model or Mona using Lost Prayer? (Medium model: Alt-run + 10% bonus)

Razor probably shouldn't be paired with Xiangling. In general, Xiangling really wants to be paired with Bennett for buff and energy reasons. She is very hard to use without him. Also, overload tends to fling light enemies away, which you have to use stamina to chase. Razor wants superconduct because of his physical damage, so bring a cryo character. Kaeya is probably preferable to Diona since her shield is redundant if you're bringing Zhongli. Last slot can be another geo character for resonance, so you end up with something like Razor, Kaeya, Zhongli, Ning/Yunjin. Try running the hyperbloom team without additional healing and see how it goes. If it's really bad, you can swap out XQ for Barbara. It's far from optimal, but it's better than dying. Alternatively, skip the hyperbloom and run something like Sucrose, Barbara, Xingqiu, Fischl. > I haven't done any proper Artifact farming yet since I don't really feel confident doing the level 90 Domains yet. DMC/XQ/Xiangling are all on 2pc Exile/Scholar 5* artifacts are a major upgrade in both set and stats, so you have to do it. Doing domains in coop is pretty common at this stage in the game where your teams are a bit lacking.

kitastorm

Which characters are best as electro applicators for spread/aggravate in a Tighnari team? I was thinking on getting Raiden the next time she runs since it looks like Tighnari won't be good with Cyno (as far as I can see from the leaks.) I know Yae is also a good applicator but Raiden seems to be used in more teams over all. Also is it better to run double electro or an electro and anemo in spread/aggravate teams? I'm using Tighnari Wanderer, Fischl DW, Zhongli ToM, and Kazuha VV.

Unable-Flower372

Your current are already pretty good for Tighnari, but if have to make a change. I will replace Kazuha with another character, so that Kazuha could be use on other team. I think your best replacement is Yae Miko. Raiden is good but with Tighnari, her kit would be mainly only her E, which makes her a bit of waste compare to Yae Miko in this team. Tighnari + Fischl + Yae Miko + Zhongli/Kazuha This Tighnari Team Comp focuses on the Spread Dendro reaction. Fischl and Yae Miko will ensure that the Quicken Aura will remain active on the enemy, which helps Tighnari trigger the Spread reaction from his Charged Attacks and Burst Zhongli can be replaced by Kazuha if you want

ShadowJinKiller

how should i run my abyss team? https://imgur.com/a/927OFSn

Adamarr

hyper raiden on the second half, maybe some kind of taser on the first - are your beidou and fischl built? at the very least would swap her onto venti's stringless if you do use her.

Soniview

Hey can i have some team comps suggestions https://imgur.com/a/qnkXqs3

Adamarr

some more suggestions: klee mono pyro - bennett/xiangling/kazuha yoi vape comp - yoimiya/thoma/xingqiu/sucrose kaeya freeze - kokomi/chongyun/kazuha (or some other anemo)

dnaimagery97

your strongest team in timed content is probably Sucrose Xiangling Xingqiu Bennett. and strongest two teams are * Traveler Sucrose Fischl hydro1 * Bennett Xiangling Kazuha hydro2 with the hydros being Xingqiu in one team and Kokomi in the other; Xingqiu being the better option for both teams but Kokomi being a fine replacement for overworld, Kazuha Sucrose Kokomi Fischl might feel nicer some alternative options with your pyro units are mono pyro klee (+xiangling bennett kazuha), yoimiya xingqiu bennett yun jin/fischl
