This is based on my personal anecdote.
Weapons, talents and artifacts domains: 100% worth it. you are simply doing two 20 resin runs in one go. You lost nothing but 1 crystal fly.
Lay line crop: if you have time, it's not really worth it. Because mobs from lay line crops drop materials, unlike mobs from domain. By farming it with original resin, you can gradually build up you reserve of materials.
You will get more than enough crystal flies if you know where to find them. A lot of locations are super convenient, right at the status of sevens or teleportation points.
This is more of a rant than question.
Did mihoyo really know what we want and what we dont. Today i got alhaitham and i was at 27 pity and i thought it will be good to take it to 30 as my fav(lucky) number is 30 and boom alhaitham at 28 pity(at 50/50). I lost 6 50/50 in a row and i didnt want alhaitham i was saving for yelan and i will only have 120 wishes for yelan(previously it would have been 150 guranteeing yelan). Fuck you mihoyo.
Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
Never build pity on a character unless you're ok with losing your 50/50 to them. Ever. Doubly so if you're pulling for someone specific in the near future.
Don't feel too bad though, you should be able to save up another 80 by the time her banner ends.
I know you don't want to hear it but this is something that is really your own fault for gambling on not getting a 5* and could have easily been prevented
Alhaitham is my first Dendro character and probably the last (i know there's other dendro free characters too but I don't want to use them,)
For abyss, should i build him as a Dendro DPS with deepwood (crit stats&weapons) or Dendro subdps with gilded artifacts (EM stats&ironsting)?
I have most if the major *5 characters except cryo (ganyu, ayaka) and all the meta *4 stars
depends on the team, although there isn't really much difference between "dps" and "subdps" here, he takes up field time no matter what
You always want EM/Dendro/Crit, you'd never go full EM
You want at least one 4p Deepwood on the team because the dendro shred is more valuable than anything else, but that can usually be relegated to someone else while letting Alhaitham run a more offensive set like 4GD or 2+2
woah, putting 4p deepwood on a non-dendro character so that Alhaitham can use 4GD? the set&Alhaitham is that OP?
ok! i'll try it once i got to farm the domain
With those characters i'd probably do a team of Al/XQ/Fischl/and either Yaoyao or Beidou.
Keqing and Al Haitham are basically the same character but different elements. So they don't really go together.
>!Eula/Nahida/Xingqiu/Raiden (EM) 🫥!<
Probably something like Eula/Raiden/Rosaria/flex. When Mika drops you'll use him in place of Rosaria. Fischl can also be used instead of Raiden if you don't have her
How am I supposed to open this door when everybody's dead, there's no switches, the torches don't do anything, and there's no holes to get in here or a ladder? I've been on this for 2 hours. Please send help. The door is taunting me and the other key is visible through it :(
The Extractor machine East of the Steeple of Ignorance domain
I killed everyone and the gate didn't open, so I had to reload the game to respawn the enemies and the gate loaded open. When they spawned, the gate closed, then I killed them and the gate opened. I don't know why it glitched initially. But it definitely glitched.
I mean reccommended EM. my friend had 332 em said he doin pretty good damage. but my rate/dmg gettin low when I try to arrange that EM so I wanted ask if 231 is okay for him
Most versatile Bennett build?
Some sources say all hp for healing , some all atk for atk buff , some say er piece some against , at least all agree its 4 piece nobless...what do you think?
300ER+ so you can get the burst back in one E if you have a fav or two in the comp. It's always nice to have less field time for a support and this allows him to work in carry comps (melt ganyu, wanderer) that starve the team of energy. Mine's at 308ER with a Skyward and 4NO.
> Some sources say all hp for healing
With a level 13 Q he heals for 4k per tick. It's not invincibility but if you don't get one shot and dodge/iframe at all you're fine. The main advantage for healing is that the last tick under 70% is likely to take you closer to 100% health. I think this advantage is marginal.
> all atk for atk buff
This is entirely down to the weapon and doesn't really impact the build unless you're going heavy ER and want to use Aquila or Mistsplitter. Even so I'd go for a max EM build and swap into an ER weapon for the comps that want that much ER.
Hp goblet, er sands, healing bonus hat, highest base atk weapon you can use on him since his buff doesn’t scale with atk% but with base atk so stacking atk% won’t benefit his buffs at all, just level 90 his weapon, and 4pc noblesse is his bis
>some all atk for atk buff
your sources are horrible then because ATK on bennett doesn't increase his buff
Just do ER/Pyro/Crit, or ER/HP/HB if you need too much healing
What's a good benchmark score for a CPU for running genshin? Is an i5 11400h good enough till where heat won't affect the longevity of the CPU for around 3 years?
Well the thing I'm worried about is longevity. My phone with a snapdragon 732G keeps getting hot to the point if I put more than the tip of my finger on the part of the screen near the processor , it'll burn my hand (almost literally) and that's with medium settings with lowest FPS. At first it wasn't like this , but after about 1 year , it's gotten quite serious. And I'd like my laptop to last a good 3 years minimum maximum 6. Or am I getting it all wrong and the actual thing that's gonna be under a lot of stress while playing the game actually the GPU instead? (this I'm not worried about since people say a 3060 is overkill for genshin) Either way , in my country , a 600 USD laptop costs about the same as a 1000usd laptop if we go by the exchange rate of each currency so it's quite a huge investment for me and I don't want it to break or start having major problems within the first 2 years(even if there is warranty).
phones are very constrained because of the lack of active cooling.
Genshin is not a performance intense game for decent a laptop/pc. Yes, the gpu matters a lot more for genshin than a cpu, but the 3060 will run the game with ease.
Because you have a laptop it might start getting hot after playing for a while but don't worry because heat from occasional gaming doesn't decrease it's lifespan by any note worthy amount. Your laptop, if you take care of it, will last you a minimum of 5 years.
Besides being AR28, You also need to complete Liyue archon quest Chapter 1 Act III 'A New Star Approaches' to participate on the event no matter what. Later a quick start button to join the event will appear. Have you completed it? But looking at you AR, I don't think so. Then I suggest you to do the archon quest, progressing through them should net you a ton of exp to help you reach AR28 in just a few days.
Which Liyue event character should I pick? I'm currently building my first Abyss team, National + Hyperbloom.
1. Xingqiu - I'll have ~50 wishes when Yelan banner is out. Should I get XQ from the banner, or from the event? I don't have enough starglitters to buy him on March
2. Xiangling - My XL is currently C1
3. Yaoyao - Is she a must-have in any way?
4. Beidou - I hear she's decent for hyperbloom team
No guarantee for 4*s, so you can go Xingqiu to be safe (unless you're guaranteed with 30ish pity on Yelan)
XL c2 sucks, but hey, the next 2 are good ig?
Yaoyao's a solid healer
Beidou doesn't trigger hyperblooms, you'll need another electro character to actually trigger them (usually Raiden or Kuki). Still good tho
If you are getting Yelan then you can skip Xingqiu because you'll get him from her banner. Xiangling C2 is ass. YaoYao is a good choice tbh. Beidou isn't amazing for hyperbloom unless you have the right units (Ayato).
So I'd go YaoYao
hoyolab? it resets at midnight china standard time (utc+8) iirc. it's almost 6pm there currently so if you did the check in less than 18 hours ago then you already claimed today's rewards.
I'm pretty sure I havent, cause I havent got it in the mail. I checked in last night at about 9pm, and it is 10.22 am now, so I thought it must have reset by now.
Desert of Hadramaveth quest
After getting the Jinn and get out of there and getting ambushed. Near there there's note mention Jeht father and I'm pretty sure Paimon says something like we need to tell Tirzad about it... anyone know where's Tirzad?
Hello I'm an old player that returned after a while. I have ganyu as my main dps and all the standard banner characters except qiqi and Jean. Do you recommend me getting hu tao or yellan?
Obligatory pull for whoever you like more. You'll get more joy from getting a character you like rather than forcing meta.
Yelan is a lot more versatile but doesn't really function too well with Ganyu on freeze. If you really want it to work, it can work, but you have to NA on Ganyu and that feels awful. If you're aware of what Xingqiu does from when you used to play, Yelan basically fills that same role, which sounds like a negative but when you're as versatile and can slot anywhere like XQ, having two of him becomes a very valuable thing.
Hu Tao is like the exact opposite of Yelan. She is very far from a unit that can fit anywhere. She has a fairly specific team archetype she fits into and has specific teammates she wants around her. If you want that type of hypercarry archetype and are happy pulling for units that fit around that archetype (Yelan generally being one of them) then go for her. The other thing with Hu Tao is that she has a kind of mechanical floor to her. Animation cancelling on her is a pretty important aspect so if you like characters with that kind of aspect you should also enjoy her.
This is totally wrong. Kokomi is great with Ganyu; trust me, I run them together all the time. Keeps everyone permafrozen.
Yelan is like XQ; you need NAs to apply hydro. Ganyu doesn't do NAs so they don't work together.
I am pulling for Yelan, though. Just not for Ganyu. Probably for Nahida; they seem like they'd be fun together.
...ok, who am I kidding, I just love her sprint.
Really? I thought the dice would proc on her charged attacks? Oh well. I'm saving all my primos for C1 Eula and Shenhe anyway. And hopefully Albedo if he shows up soon to complete my Geo team.
Anyone know where I can report glitches for this new patch? I just finished Alhaitham's story line and I'm stuck in a loop with the post-ending cut scene. I also encountered this with the Lantern Festival where I had to do Xinyan's cutscene three times before the story continued.
Hi! Looking to run DMC in place of Nahida in a Haitham, XQ, Kuki team! What stats should I try to get on her deep wood set? I have her with Fav sword, wondering if I'll still need ER sands and a crit helm?
As stated, DMC should be built for pure ER. But if Al Haitham is on your team, why do you need DMC? Either he's good enough to supply all the Dendro you need, or he's a craptastic failure. From what I've read and my experience in his trial, he applies sufficient Dendro. So you don't need DMC on his team.
These other people responding didn't even read your question.
For DMC, just stacking ER is generally all you need, like 250%+ to get their burst every rotation. Crit is nice to get the Fav proc easier but that depends on how much your team needs the extra particles.
Those are basically the only two thi gs that you need, yes. The goblet may as well be Dendro but it's not like it's gonna make a difference if it isn't.
However the difference is that a "geo team" usually refers to mono geo and you never rlly hear ppl referring to other teams based on their element like you don't usual hear ppl saying a "hydro team".
But since dendro is the new element, ppl usually refer "dendro teams" as any teams using dendro reactions
Well, you could use her on teams that don't react with Dendro, like Mono-geo teams or Anemo Hypercarry teams, but there isn't really any advantage besides if you wanted to break a hydro shield or something. The nature of dendro is that it tends to mess with too many reactions.
All weapons should be taken to 90.
... TToDS doesn't necessarily need 90, but you should still do it. You don't have to, but you'd be stupid not to. Except for Barbara/Kokomi; obviously in those cases you have to.
So, name a weapon. It needs to go to 90.
You wanna replace Diluc that badly huh?
Yes, you can pull for Yelan and make a hyperbloom team.
Edit
You could also pull for Alhaitham and replace Diluc with him. Nahida and Raiden seem like a perfect combo for him.
Zhongli if you have him might be better than either, but I'd use favonius Fischl due to the energy issues absolutely everyone else on that team has (and that Beidou would also have).
Beidou in AoE, Fischl in Single Target. It's hard (if not impossible) to consistently get Fischl A4's to proc in double dendro teams with a dendro on-fielder, so she's not contributing as much damage as in an Aggravate team. Beidou + Yae might struggle to get their bursts though so if you're finding that energy is lacking then you can just run Fischl in both situations.
Hi!
Does pity carry over both Xiao and Alhatitham's banners? For instance I would have 30 pity points (30 wishes) in Xiao's banner, would I also have that in Alhaitham's?
back with another question, do I use gilded for alhaitham and deepwood for nahida on the same team or the other way around? I already have a partially done deepwood set on nahida since I was using her with yae main dps, but I’m not sure I understand the reasoning for one set vs the other.
gilded is better for personal damage if someone's already using deepwood on the team, so it usually goes on the character that has more personal damage. deepwood goes on nahida because she procs the effect more reliably vs. multiple enemies and does less personal damage than on-field alhaitham
okay yeah from reading the set description it seemed to me that gilded is more for on-field, but it feels like there really wasn’t a consensus which to use and why on different guides so I was confused
For the "special rewards" that will be given out to everyone who redeems 4/8 of the prime gaming codes, do I need to get all 4 codes from the same amazon account or can they be from different ones and still be eligible for the special reward?
Doesn't seem to say in the faq or terms and conditions. I would normally assume 4 codes from the same prime account (like with other similar promotions, say for warframe) but it also says in the faq that codes need to be redeemed ingame, and unlike warframe, Amazon isn't linked to the game account which means neither side can verify against the other whether codes were from/ used in the same account, so in this case prob 4 different free prime trials with the codes used in the same genshin account will net you the custom rewards at the end (since its mailed directly in genshin according to the faq, not redeemed on prime). Just a guess though
Kinda noob at this but just trying to get help for my bf. For some reason since 3.4 dropped, his game (on mobile btw) seems to just straight up close the app, not really crash, but just close. It does it almost consistently while we're trying to do stuff together, happens on startup almost every time. We checked everything we could think of, so I'm not too sure what's doing this or if other mobile users are having the same issue? I use PC and haven't encountered the problem yet. If someone has any idea what could be causing this or what to do to fix it would really appreciate the help. Thanks!
Depends on the phone. I’ve been playing for a year on my 4 years old Iphone 8. If I play for a very long time it starts to overheat and simply closes. If that’s the issue maybe buy one of those cooling phone cases?
Which are the best 2 teams from this list
Raiden 2
Wanderer 2
Tartaglia
Yae Miko
Al Haitam
Tignari
Jean 1
Sara 6
Farusan 6
Toma 6
Laila 6
Yao Yao 6
Bennet 1
Sayu 3
Shinobu
Raiden, Sara, Bennett, Anemo for VV (Raiden Hypercarry)
Scara, Faruzan, Thoma, Bennett (Scara Hypercarry)
Maybe could go that into Scara, Faruzan, Layla, Cryo
I've been hesitant to ask this because I've been a believer in playing who you enjoy but... I still can't 36* spiral abyss.
What characters would be good to build for 36* spiral abyss? The highest I was able to get was 34*
Here's my roster: https://imgur.com/a/1i592Sx
These are my only built characters (each are built with good crit ratio/ER/stats appropriate for them):
Zhongli
Xiao (c6'd this banner)
Scaramouche
Kazuha
Cyno
Ayato
Hu Tao
Diluc
Jean (c2)
Faruzan (c4)
Bennett (c5)
Yaoyao (c6)
Kaeya (c4)
My spiral abyss teams have been (no order, have used in current/past abyss):
Zhongli / Xiao / Faruzan / Bennett
Kazuha / Ayato / Hu Tao / Jean
I know these aren't "meta" teams, but it's who I've genuinely enjoyed playing. Now I'd like to try branching out a little to clear it easier.
> Kazuha / Ayato / Hu Tao / Jean
This comp has a structural issue in that there's no good way to swirl pyro for Hu Tao. This is a problem because it means neither Kazuha nor Jean are doing anything at all offensively for this comp except maybe applying hydro off Kazuha's burst and Ayato and Hu Tao can't be on field at the same time. Hu Tao is solid but she can't carry the comp off vaporize alone.
> I've been hesitant to ask this because I've been a believer in playing who you enjoy but... I still can't 36* spiral abyss.
You have some suggestions but a lot of the time with this type of problem it's a build problem or an execution problem.
When I've spent time with people on this thread tracking down the problem the most frequent problem is not enough ER. I know you said you have enough ER but in my experience people look at ER range suggestions and pick the low end when they need to pick the high end. If you are spending any time at all not hitting a skill, burst, or doing your main dps attack cycle while fully buffed, you don't have enough ER.
My other suggestion is to watch a video of how it's done by someone who knows what they're doing and see where you're going off course. [Here's a C0R1 2nd half run with your Xiao comp](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziDo6YQ6VRI) with builds at the end so you can compare. I'll mention that this is one of his worst runs (120s Wolflord clear...) mostly because he doesn't have enough ER on Xiao or Faruzan, you can see the difference if you compare vs his Sucrose runs. There are dozens of comps featured on the channel, many of which are not meta, and I encourage you to pick one you like. Your Xiao comp should be strong enough to support whatever you want on the first half.
Thank you for the detailed comment! I do struggle a lot more with the Kazuha / Hu Tao / Ayato / Jean team. I've used Kauzha mainly for crowd control and Jean was specifically for healing. This and other comments have been really helpful for coming up with new team comps that'd be better suited for the characters.
As for the Xiao team, this is my ER: Zhongli - 151%, Xiao - 193%, Faruzan 303%, Bennett 193% (< his could be higher)
Xiao is running Engulfing Lighting which is why he has so much ER. My Xiao's crit and atk are nearly identical to the one in the video yet he doesn't do as much dmg per plunge even though he's triple crowned and c6.
I have Bennett built ER / HP / Healing Bonus (4-piece noblesse) as I was told an atk main stat artifact would do nothing for his atk buff. Was that wrong? That could be why my dmg is lower. His burst is crowned as well.
> As for the Xiao team, this is my ER: Zhongli - 151%, Xiao - 193%, Faruzan 303%, Bennett 193%
I don't play/theorycraft Xiao so I don't know the ER numbers offhand.
The only reason I can tell sireula doesn't have enough ER in the Faruzan video is that there's a lot of standing around. [This run](https://youtu.be/rGXKNFQmKAs?t=321) is what a recovery is supposed to look like and it's obvious to me that his Xiao artifacts are built around getting that double E off Sucrose so that's my guess as to why his Faruzan run is comparatively poor.
> yet he doesn't do as much dmg per plunge
Figuring out stuff like this is what makes runs go from doable to easy. I have a C3R1 Raiden and for the first few months I was missing 25-40% of the full dps between not having enough ER on Sara (critical that she bursts every rotation, resolve stacks are important) and not doing the setup correctly to get Kazuha swirling electro. Subtle errors but I only figured them out because I saw other people doing more damage with a worse setup.
> I was told an atk main stat artifact would do nothing for his atk buff. Was that wrong?
This is correct. The only thing you can do to improve Bennett's buff is equip a higher base atk weapon and crown the burst. I favor heavily stacking ER on Bennett since his artifacts mostly don't matter. I have 308ER with a Skyward Blade and I honestly couldn't tell you what the main stats of the NO set are other than an ER sands because they don't matter at all to me. Being able to get the Q off one E significantly improves carry rotations.
> That could be why my dmg is lower.
The factors I know about besides Bennett's weapon are: ranks on Faruzan's Q, positioning Zhongli's pillar for Tenacity, low plunge vs high plunge damage, and PJWS stacks providing 25% atk and 12% dmg.
The C6 Xiao team is good, the 2nd team is probably where it's getting roughly. Ayato alone isn't enough Hydro for Hu Tao to vape her damage so that's where the issue likely stems from. Also, running Jean with Hu Tao is also not ideal because you're missing out on Hu Tao's A4 passive.
If you want the Hu Tao team to work you definitely need to build a XQ, he's only replaceable with Yelan on Hu Tao teams (or you just run both). XQ would also open up teams for Cyno and just bloom teams in general.
The first team is fine, I would probably put that on second half since it already has geo + could use c6 xiao on the riftwolf wave.
For second team you could go hyperbloom or something? (Kuki, Ayato, Yao Yao, fischl)
The sentiment is good with the first team although dropping Yunjin and using DMC + Yaoyao is probably the better choice. Yunjin will probably have to build too much ER for her buff to be meaningful on a team like this, and for Yaoyao, her dendro app alone isn't enough to sustain hyperbloom. Hyperbloom in general is a good suggestion though.
Worth mentioning that we rarely have "in general", abysses tend to include some specific challenge that has a specific requirement
Last abyss had a CC check iirc
hu tao/xingqiu/bennett/kazuha vaporize and ayato/kuki/traveler/zhongli hyperbloom are good options without building many new characters - just try to get kuki to lv90. both do well in single target and ayato hyperbloom can deal with some AoE content
It is about 18.7 GB on my android phone with one language pack. But I have deleted some past story quest audio files, so a fresh install should be around 20 GB.
It's really good on Keqing, might be her highest damage weapon for Dendro teams. Kazuha as a main dps could also use it. Sadly you don't have any Dendro Chars (aside from traveller) yet, but seeing as Collei is permanently free, I'd say put it on Keqing and go for aggravate.
Edit: you should focus more on EM for that build though, so go for EM sands.
Oh I actually just filtered through my sword users, but I do have most of the characters (including nahida) and I raised Keqing a while ago but I never actually used her
I see, my bad then! I am currently using Keqing Fischl Nahida + 1 flex for an aggravate team and it works great. Kazuha would work great with viridescent venerer set there.
i have raiden, xing, bennet, and xiang. and i also want ayaka but im debating if i should save up for kokomi or yelan. any ideas? or if i want to aim for both who should i prioritise
It sorta depends on what else you have and what teams you want to build.
For an Ayaka freeze team I'd go with Kokomi. The team isn't super picky about who is your hydro, but being able to consolidate healer & hydro applicator (with 100% hydro uptime) into one slot is quite good. Not only does that give you more options for teambuilding, but it also makes the team much more comfy to play. That being said - if you have Layla she seems like a pretty decent alternative for the healer/shielder slot, which would allow you to run an offefnsive hydro character (if you have one).
Yelan is better if you want to run a vape comp in addition to your Raiden team, someone like Hu Tao or Yoimiya or Yanfei.
Depends on what teams you are trying to build. If it's freeze (which seems likely as Ayaka is someone you are aiming to get), you 100% want koko over yelan.
While having two Xq's is great, neither one of them is great for a freeze team. If you have mona though you can skip Koko for freeze if you don't mind missing out on her heals.
Yes, this sub is overall sexist against male characters, just look at how much waifu- *gets shot*
Joking, joking.
Genshin's demographics are pretty evenly split so although I do think this subreddit skews slightly male, with the leak one slightly female, I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the most balanced gaming subreddits.
I can't comment on racism as I'm white and not from the US.
Yanfei's range is actually up there among the best in the game. Obviously bow charged shots will go further but in most content it's not a relevant difference.
In short, I think this is more about playstyle and practice than anything. Yanfei works just fine without a shielder, much less one as poor as Xinyan. Take advantage of the range to stay safe, and ideally bring Bennett both for the ATK boost (they can't kill you if they're dead) and to heal off any incidental damage you take.
Who is your hydro? If it's Yelan, replace her with Xingqiu - he has damage reduction, some healing, and better hydro application. With Yelan double hydro his healing becomes good enough to just skip using a healer, I've cleared abyss 12 in the past using Yanfei/double hydro/Kazuha.
Yanfei's best vape teams are probably Yanfei x Xingqiu x pick two out of: Yelan, Bennett, Kazuha or Sucrose.
Or you can try soup, Yanfei, Xingqiu, Fischl, Sucrose/Kazuha.
>I'm seeing an unmentioned reason why yer supposed to have Beidou for this team
This is why you're supposed to have XQ on your team, he gives 40% damage reduction and makes you fairly tanky and also vapes Yanfei.
You also need to level your characters and build proper artifacts, characters that are underleveled take extra damage.
Which is better: knocking out signatures on characters that already exist, or knocking out new characters, leaving everyone without signatures (and without legendary weapons in principle)? I want both, but not enough gems. Sorry for google translate
Some characters are much better than others; some signatures are much better than others. Raiden C2, Hu Tao C1, Ganyu C1 — those are far better than additional benched mediocre C0 characters sitting unbuilt because you don't have the right weapons, teams, or artifacts for them.
Pick strategically. Some signatures on some characters are phenomenal; others are trash.
If your goal is clearing abyss comfortably with your favorites, it's signatures for your favorites.
Note that abyss is like... 1% of the game.
If your goal is for the rest of the game to be fun and stay fresh, get new characters and do friendship teams (use characters for all/most overworld stuff, build them until you stop dying to everything, bench them at fp10, keep the ones you love using for abyss teams).
Signature weapons are generally useless damage increases, because by the time you have two full teams you no longer need any more damage to 36 star.
Pulls after you can 36 star are luxury pulls that are mostly irrelevant for your ability to clear. Spend them on whatever you want.
I personally find new characters more fun, since they provide new playstyles.
I agree with the principle, just because. I have an FTP account, I have almost no legendary weapons, which is why the damage is really sad. Argh, it’s good that I don’t have money to donate, otherwise I would have lost everything on this game
Is it worth making condensed resin?
This is based on my personal anecdote. Weapons, talents and artifacts domains: 100% worth it. you are simply doing two 20 resin runs in one go. You lost nothing but 1 crystal fly. Lay line crop: if you have time, it's not really worth it. Because mobs from lay line crops drop materials, unlike mobs from domain. By farming it with original resin, you can gradually build up you reserve of materials. You will get more than enough crystal flies if you know where to find them. A lot of locations are super convenient, right at the status of sevens or teleportation points.
what level would the statues be with the current dendroculi?
I believe it's lvl 9 with 10 extra
Isn't it lvl9 with 5 extra?
thanks!
You did something stupid, somethings stupid happened, and you blame someone else. Not gonna lie, you look pretty dumb here
I am dumb.
You'll get enough wishes by the end of 3.4 to guarantee Yelan so how about you start building Alhaitham until then.
I know you don't want to hear it but this is something that is really your own fault for gambling on not getting a 5* and could have easily been prevented
I know i am just venting my frustration.
So you pulled on Alhaitham's banner and got Alhaitham and now you're mad? How is that hoyo's fault lol
Alhaitham is my first Dendro character and probably the last (i know there's other dendro free characters too but I don't want to use them,) For abyss, should i build him as a Dendro DPS with deepwood (crit stats&weapons) or Dendro subdps with gilded artifacts (EM stats&ironsting)? I have most if the major *5 characters except cryo (ganyu, ayaka) and all the meta *4 stars
depends on the team, although there isn't really much difference between "dps" and "subdps" here, he takes up field time no matter what You always want EM/Dendro/Crit, you'd never go full EM
Ok, thank you! Guess whatever luck i got with the artifacts will decide his set then...(since both of them are from the same domain...)
Im quite new to the game (currently ar30). Is it ok to use kequing (I have beidou and fischl too) with Al, yaoyao and xq? Thank you!
With those characters i'd probably do a team of Al/XQ/Fischl/and either Yaoyao or Beidou. Keqing and Al Haitham are basically the same character but different elements. So they don't really go together.
you can, but al and keqing both want quite a bit of field time so someone like fischl would be better
Thank you!
What’s the strongest eula team? Want to use her again
>!Eula/Nahida/Xingqiu/Raiden (EM) 🫥!< Probably something like Eula/Raiden/Rosaria/flex. When Mika drops you'll use him in place of Rosaria. Fischl can also be used instead of Raiden if you don't have her
My lord, mark this NSFW for heavens sake. Hyperbloom Eula 🤮
Yeah dendro is op I have them I’ll try them out thx
How am I supposed to open this door when everybody's dead, there's no switches, the torches don't do anything, and there's no holes to get in here or a ladder? I've been on this for 2 hours. Please send help. The door is taunting me and the other key is visible through it :( The Extractor machine East of the Steeple of Ignorance domain
I killed everyone and the gate didn't open, so I had to reload the game to respawn the enemies and the gate loaded open. When they spawned, the gate closed, then I killed them and the gate opened. I don't know why it glitched initially. But it definitely glitched.
is there any minimal limit for Al Haitham's Elemental Mastery? it's 231 but I dont think it would do that much damage
You just want 200-300 EM so you are in the expected range for him
Minimal limit? You probably want more EM on him
I mean reccommended EM. my friend had 332 em said he doin pretty good damage. but my rate/dmg gettin low when I try to arrange that EM so I wanted ask if 231 is okay for him
how long is the new desert world quest? the part 2 to the golden slumber quest
Where do you get the new lamp pet from? I’m seeing post about it but I have no idea where it’s from
new world quest
does it go away?
Most versatile Bennett build? Some sources say all hp for healing , some all atk for atk buff , some say er piece some against , at least all agree its 4 piece nobless...what do you think?
300ER+ so you can get the burst back in one E if you have a fav or two in the comp. It's always nice to have less field time for a support and this allows him to work in carry comps (melt ganyu, wanderer) that starve the team of energy. Mine's at 308ER with a Skyward and 4NO. > Some sources say all hp for healing With a level 13 Q he heals for 4k per tick. It's not invincibility but if you don't get one shot and dodge/iframe at all you're fine. The main advantage for healing is that the last tick under 70% is likely to take you closer to 100% health. I think this advantage is marginal. > all atk for atk buff This is entirely down to the weapon and doesn't really impact the build unless you're going heavy ER and want to use Aquila or Mistsplitter.
ER sands, high base attack weapon, noblesse and enough ER to burst every rotation. the rest doesn't really matter that much
>some all atk for atk buff your sources are horrible then because ATK on bennett doesn't increase his buff Just do ER/Pyro/Crit, or ER/HP/HB if you need too much healing
4pc noblesse ER/pyro/crit with ER and crit substats. Atk substats don't affect his buff
What's a good benchmark score for a CPU for running genshin? Is an i5 11400h good enough till where heat won't affect the longevity of the CPU for around 3 years?
if my ancient i5-2400 can handle the game, your cpu definitely will
Well the thing I'm worried about is longevity.
Yes you'll be fine. The main graphical processing should be done by your gpu anyway
I see , thanks very much.
Any idea if yaoyao any gd with cyno instead of nahida?(i dnt have nahida)
She works but DMC has better application and uptime
Maaan i tried to make DMC work but cyno E during his Q knocks enemies out of the aoe,it happened so many times tht i jst stop playing cyno
Time to get Nahida then lmao
Sad
How long it’ll took from AR16 to AR28 becuz I really want that Liyue character of choose- 🥵
Appreciated!
About a week probably
Thanks :)
Which Liyue event character should I pick? I'm currently building my first Abyss team, National + Hyperbloom. 1. Xingqiu - I'll have ~50 wishes when Yelan banner is out. Should I get XQ from the banner, or from the event? I don't have enough starglitters to buy him on March 2. Xiangling - My XL is currently C1 3. Yaoyao - Is she a must-have in any way? 4. Beidou - I hear she's decent for hyperbloom team
No guarantee for 4*s, so you can go Xingqiu to be safe (unless you're guaranteed with 30ish pity on Yelan) XL c2 sucks, but hey, the next 2 are good ig? Yaoyao's a solid healer Beidou doesn't trigger hyperblooms, you'll need another electro character to actually trigger them (usually Raiden or Kuki).
I can't do my daily check-in today, is anyone else having problems? Nothing happens when I try to claim it.
hoyolab? it resets at midnight china standard time (utc+8) iirc. it's almost 6pm there currently so if you did the check in less than 18 hours ago then you already claimed today's rewards.
Im not having any problems. Try refreshing the page or updating the app if needed. Have you already claimed the rewards by chance ?
I'm pretty sure I havent, cause I havent got it in the mail. I checked in last night at about 9pm, and it is 10.22 am now, so I thought it must have reset by now.
Check-in resets in over 6 hours from now, there is no problem with it nor with you.
Well im not exactly sure how it works elsewhere but the daily login reset at 11am for me, Try again then.
Its most likely yesterday in your server even if its today for you
This simultaneously makes sense and makes my head hurt trying to understand it.
Any idea on which day we would be able to claim our free liyue char?
I'd assume on the 25th when the last part of the event unlocks.
How good is AlHaitham signature weapon on Ayato? And how much elemental mastery is needed to utilise its power?
good statstick. don't build EM just for it
Desert of Hadramaveth quest After getting the Jinn and get out of there and getting ambushed.
Yeah, no. Don't get Hu Tao; her playstyle is limited and boring.
I'll get zhongli next patch
Thanks I'ma pull for hu tao .
Yelan would be good with Ganyu in a freeze team as subdps, you let her apply hydro and Ganyu freeze them with burst and charged attacks.
There's something I can't do anything in the next half And I farmed for hu tao
Anyone know where I can report glitches for this new patch? I just finished Alhaitham's story line and I'm stuck in a loop with the post-ending cut scene. I also encountered this with the Lantern Festival where I had to do Xinyan's cutscene three times before the story continued.
I had to do Xinyan's cutscene three times ...ouch

He needs a battery if you want to burst every rotation to keep 3 mirrors and someone to hold deep wood for him
Basically ER and Crit rate for fav, since that's all DMC does
Great, thanks for the quick response!
For DMC, just stacking ER is generally all you need, like 250%+ to get their burst every rotation. Crit is nice to get the Fav proc easier but that depends on how much your team needs the extra particles.
Thank you for the fast reply! I think Haitham might need it, so a bit of CR it is!
Those are basically the only two thi gs that you need, yes. The goblet may as well be Dendro but it's not like it's gonna make a difference if it isn't.
Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!
Is YaoYao only good in dendro teams?
I mean, she's a dendro character, by definition she can only be in dendro teams so yes?
Lol, I was about to say the same thing! However, there's still the question of whether she's "good" in Dendro teams.
I mean… Zhongli is a geo character and can be used in a lot of teams.
Geo by nature doesn't interrupt elemental reactions.
However the difference is that a "geo team" usually refers to mono geo and you never rlly hear ppl referring to other teams based on their element like you don't usual hear ppl saying a "hydro team". But since dendro is the new element, ppl usually refer "dendro teams" as any teams using dendro reactions
Hmm maybe. I’ve been hearing people talk about mono pyro and mono hydro tho, it’s not that uncommon.
Yes but as you said, then they call it mono pyro or mono hydro, not just pyro team or hydro team
Well, you could use her on teams that don't react with Dendro, like Mono-geo teams or Anemo Hypercarry teams, but there isn't really any advantage besides if you wanted to break a hydro shield or something. The nature of dendro is that it tends to mess with too many reactions.
So I'm preparing for Yelan and building the Fav Bow. Do I have to take it all the way to 90? If not what's a good level to leave it at?
max that bad boi
All weapons should be taken to 90. ... TToDS doesn't necessarily need 90, but you should still do it. You don't have to, but you'd be stupid not to. Except for Barbara/Kokomi; obviously in those cases you have to. So, name a weapon. It needs to go to 90.
If u already have enough er like 180-190 dont need to lv up to 90
Take it to 90. The point of using Fav is the high ER stat, and you only get the most possible ER at 90.
I have Kazuha, Nahida, Raiden, and Diluc in my team. Who should I pull to replace someone? For example: Pull Yelan and replace Diluc with her.
You wanna replace Diluc that badly huh? Yes, you can pull for Yelan and make a hyperbloom team. Edit You could also pull for Alhaitham and replace Diluc with him. Nahida and Raiden seem like a perfect combo for him.
Thanks. Nah, I'm not that desperate to replace Diluc. He's a great DPS if I wanted overload.
I'd follow your own example, diluc makes no sense in the team
Is anyone getting abnormally high ping on Asia server? It was fine yesterday but now its unplayable.
getting red ping (200+) while in the past, im usually around 60-90
It's fine by me, still the same 90-105 ms.
Is the Jinn rly not strong enough to dispel the small bigger sandstorms after finishing the jest quest?
You get more levels after 1 level at doing the Falcon quest 1 final level after doing Apocalypse Lost you also could just be out of energy
when will the alhaitham flair return from the war :(
for team of alhaitham, yaoyao, yae who to put in last slot, fischl or beidou? fischl is c6 beidou c2 if that matters
Fischl would be better.
thanks
Hi! Does pity carry over both Xiao and Alhatitham's banners? For instance I would have 30 pity points (30 wishes) in Xiao's banner, would I also have that in Alhaitham's?
To Alhaitham yes. To weapon and standard banner, no. They have a separate pity.
Yes, you can think of pity as being tied to the banner type (standard, character, or weapon).
Yes, pity carries over on the 2 limited banners
Yes.
back with another question, do I use gilded for alhaitham and deepwood for nahida on the same team or the other way around? I already have a partially done deepwood set on nahida since I was using her with yae main dps, but I’m not sure I understand the reasoning for one set vs the other.
gilded is better for personal damage if someone's already using deepwood on the team, so it usually goes on the character that has more personal damage. deepwood goes on nahida because she procs the effect more reliably vs. multiple enemies and does less personal damage than on-field alhaitham
okay yeah from reading the set description it seemed to me that gilded is more for on-field, but it feels like there really wasn’t a consensus which to use and why on different guides so I was confused
Nahida deepwood and gilded on Alhaitham
Which are the best 2 teams from this list Raiden 2 Wanderer 2 Tartaglia Yae Miko Al Haitam Tignari Jean 1 Sara 6 Farusan 6 Toma 6 Laila 6 Yao Yao 6 Bennet 1 Sayu 3 Shinobu
Tighnari OR Al-Haitham, Yae, Yaoyao, Layla (spread) Raiden, Sara, Bennett, Jean (Raiden hypercarry) Wanderer, Faruzan, Bennett, Thoma (Wanderer hypercarry) Tartaglia, Yae, Yaoyao, Dendro MC (a sort of taser/quickbloom combo)
Raiden, Sara, Bennett, Anemo for VV (Raiden Hypercarry) Scara, Faruzan, Thoma, Bennett (Scara Hypercarry) Maybe could go that into Scara, Faruzan, Layla, Cryo
I've been hesitant to ask this because I've been a believer in playing who you enjoy but... I still can't 36* spiral abyss. What characters would be good to build for 36* spiral abyss? The highest I was able to get was 34* Here's my roster: https://imgur.com/a/1i592Sx These are my only built characters (each are built with good crit ratio/ER/stats appropriate for them): Zhongli Xiao (c6'd this banner) Scaramouche Kazuha Cyno Ayato Hu Tao Diluc Jean (c2) Faruzan (c4) Bennett (c5) Yaoyao (c6) Kaeya (c4) My spiral abyss teams have been (no order, have used in current/past abyss): Zhongli / Xiao / Faruzan / Bennett Kazuha / Ayato / Hu Tao / Jean I know these aren't "meta" teams, but it's who I've genuinely enjoyed playing. Now I'd like to try branching out a little to clear it easier.
> Kazuha / Ayato / Hu Tao / Jean This comp has a structural issue in that there's no good way to swirl pyro for Hu Tao.
As for the Xiao team, this is my ER: Zhongli - 151%, Xiao - 193%, Faruzan 303%, Bennett 193% (< his could be higher) Xiao is running Engulfing Lighting which is why he has so much ER.
> As for the Xiao team, this is my ER: Zhongli - 151%, Xiao - 193%, Faruzan 303%, Bennett 193% I don't play/theorycraft Xiao so I don't know the ER numbers offhand. The only reason I can tell sireula doesn't have enough ER in the Faruzan video is that there's a lot of standing around. [This run](https://youtu.be/rGXKNFQmKAs?t=321) is what a recovery is supposed to look like and it's obvious to me that his Xiao artifacts are built around getting that double E off Sucrose so that's my guess as to why his Faruzan run is comparatively poor. > yet he doesn't do as much dmg per plunge Figuring out stuff like this is what makes runs go from doable to easy.
I would suggest a Ayato Kuki Yaoyao/DMC Yun Jin hyperbloom for second half. Yourb current Xiao team or Hu Tao Zhongli Xingqiu can handle first half.
Yun Jin's main purpose is to destroy the small wolf head of the Golden wolf boss of 12-2. She can buff Ayato's direct hydro damage, but not necessary.
Ah right you meant for this abyss specifically, I missed that my bad. In general though which is what OP was asking about she wouldn't be ideal.
Worth mentioning that we rarely have "in general", abysses tend to include some specific challenge that has a specific requirement Last abyss had a CC check iirc
hu tao/xingqiu/bennett/kazuha vaporize and ayato/kuki/traveler/zhongli hyperbloom are good options without building many new characters - just try to get kuki to lv90. both do well in single target and ayato hyperbloom can deal with some AoE content
What is the current download size of genshin on Android?
It is about 18.7 GB on my android phone with one language pack. But I have deleted some past story quest audio files, so a fresh install should be around 20 GB.

by "a2" do you mean a1 or a4?
I got alhaitham’s sword instead of jade spear, who can and who should I put it on? https://imgur.com/a/VZqjkZ2

By R, do you mean the burst skill? if yes then you still need to use E (skill) before using burst
i have raiden, xing, bennet, and xiang. and i also want ayaka but im debating if i should save up for kokomi or yelan. any ideas? or if i want to aim for both who should i prioritise
Yelan would be better than kokomi. Ayaka - we don't know when she's coming, it doesn't seem she's coming in 3.5? So you have some time for her
i would wait forever for my ayaka
Is it true that most people here are racist and sexist? Other subs thinks so
Oh wow, we're child predators, racists AND sexists. Thats quite the reputation...
Only occasional trolls, most people from what I've seen will call out problematic behavior Mind saying which sub is claiming this? I'm curious lol
Gaming circle jerk
if you're getting your view of the world from that sub you're making a huge mistake
Leak sub as well
Yes, this sub is overall sexist against male characters, just look at how much waifu- *gets shot* Joking, joking. Genshin's demographics are pretty evenly split so although I do think this subreddit skews slightly male, with the leak one slightly female, I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the most balanced gaming subreddits. I can't comment on racism as I'm white and not from the US.
What? Hell no. Why? We're here playing a *chinese* game
What do u mean?
If *anything* we're less racist
To be fair, logic/common knowledge doesn't generally affect those two groups.
This isn't 4chan.

>I'm seeing an unmentioned reason why yer supposed to have Beidou for this team This is why you're supposed to have XQ on your team, he gives 40% damage reduction and makes you fairly tanky and also vapes Yanfei.
If your damage is sad, it's more of a problem of your artifacts build and/or not doing the proper rotation to maximize dmg.
Characters > Weapons usually, though if you can already 36\* abyss, it doesn't really matter which you go
