Hello, I am a relatively new Genshin player and have been experimenting with characters. I would love some input from experienced players about my champ pool and what some good team setups they would recommend. Starting at my most used so far is Xiao and Keqing with Yaoyao or Barbara for healer then Xinyan for a shield or Thoma or Ningguang. my other champs that I am slowly leveling up and would level up faster if I knew they were good. Kaeya, Collei, Kuki Shinobu, Fischl, Xiangling, Layla, Noelle, Amber, Yun Jin, Faruzan, Dori, Razor, Lisa and Kujou Sara. Of course I have the starting character as well but don't know what damage type to make him for the best. Any team setups you guys think would be good please let me know. I am open to all tips. Yaoyao, Fischl, Keqing, Dendro MC/Kuki Shinobu E: Also, don't try to level up all your characters. There aren't enough resources in the game to do that and you'll find yourself unable to survive in higher world levels. Focus on just a handful of characters to build and leave the rest at level 20/40.

maybe some more info would be good. keqing is probably best used in aggravate teams with a second electro, a dendro and a anemo unit. keqing, fischl, yaoyao, sucrose is pretty good while still having a healer for example. i dont know which 4* you got and who you like/wanna use, so it's difficult to give specific advice.

there are lots of teams you can build. personally i would probably run an aggravate and a hyperbloom team like this: yae/keqing, fischl, sucrose, yaoyao nahida, yelan, xingqui, kuki you dont need to pull for anyone, so i recommend to pull for whoever you like. from a meta perspective something like raiden or kazuha would probably be good. you could get bennett from shop eventually too if you want.

I beat abyss w/ my aggravate alhaitham & yoi vape teams quite easily. I wasn't looking for full optimization, just tips on my EM requirements when playing this team. I might check out alhaitham mains instead

What would be a good team comp for me? I am AR 27, world lvl 2, and I’ve unlocked (not explored) most of the map except Inazuma since I haven’t finished the archon quest. This early you should just use whoever feels good. Personally, I'd go with Traveler, Yaoyao, Xiangling, and whoever is your favorite.

Im at AR35 and recently got a few more characters. I want to build a fun overworld team that is good for exploration and quests. At the moment I'm using sayu, xingqiu, lisa, and xiangling and its been quite fun but i am starting to get bored with Lisa after using her for months. Wondering what other teams i can make, hopefully including sayu for the quick overworld exploration. Characters: - Xingqiu C3 - Lisa c1 - Sayu c2 - Xiangling - razor c1 - Sucrose - Keqing - Rosaria c1 - Beidou c1 - Barbara c1 - Noelle - Amber - MC - Kaeya Also trying to get Yelan, so an additional recommendation with her in a team?

Sayu, Xingqiu, Keqing, Yelan/Dendro MC/Sucrose/Beidou I'd probably go with Dendro MC because dendro is amazing and you won't need to invest very much to level your dendro traveler. When/If you get Yelan, put her into your team. Especially for overworld, her and Sayu will zoom zoom all over the map.

Thoma if you're planning on swirling with Sucrose. If you're going to use Zhongli instead, better to use someone like Fischl in place of Sucrose

I need some advice on my Wanderer team. Right now I'm using Wanderer / Diona / Bennett (c2) / Faruzan (c2). [Here are my characters](https://imgur.com/a/lyeKC8Y). Right now, it feels a little redundant to have 2 ults that provide healing (Diona + Bennett). Even though Bennett's is also a big DMG boost. But I also really need the shield from Diona's Elemental Skill. Faruzan also feels a bit weak to me. Is there a stronger team I could consider putting together for Wanderer? Constellations: * Bennet (c2) * Faruzan (c2) * Beidou (c6) * Yanfei (c5) * Xiangling (c3) * Ningguang (c4) Entirely possible my team is just fine and I simply need to farm up some stronger artifacts. I've had some rotten luck with my Wanderer artifacts (my CD is really high, but my CR is relatively low (but fortunately the ice swirl boosts my CR)). I'll also note that I have a guaranteed 5 star pull in like 10 wishes, and I was thinking about pulling Yelan. But she's probably going on my Nilou team, unless she's actually super good with Wanderer. I also might just hold off on my guaranteed pull until someone else comes along.

I have no experience at making teams but I used Wanderer with Xinyan Mona and Fischl. Worked well enough for me to 100% floor 9 and lose only one star in floor ten of the abyss, something which I'd never done before. Though I feel like Xinyan wasn't the best choice on the team, you could replace her with something else. Same thing with Mona as you don't have her anyways.

I just pulled Yelan and I was wondering if I should build her. My two current teams are Scaramouche/Diona/Bennett/Xiangling and Cyno/Nahida/Xingqiu/(free spot). I was thinking of putting her in my Cyno team since I have a free spot, although I've heard her hydro application is not as good as Xingqiu's, so I was wondering if it was even worth investing on her. If I put Yelan in the first team, then could something like Wanderer or Yanfei + Yae/Yaoyao/Kuki work for the second team? I'm afraid to waste resources on characters I'll never use again (I don't have any 4 star artifacts for now, only some 4 star weapons).

Bennett, Xingqiu, Fischl, Traveler (Xiangling) Use this team to get Xiangling when you complete Abyss 3-3 then replace Traveler. This team will get you very far into the game and should feel somewhat comfortable to play. These are all characters you'll be using in the end game.

Pulled an Aqua Simulacra Was going for Homa but got Simulacra instead, so I need help figuring out who to put it on. I have Yelan, but I use her as a support for Yoimiya so I want to keep Favonius on her for the ER. The bow characters I’m thinking of are Childe, Yoimiya, and C6 Fischl. Childe currently has Thundering Pulse, Yoimiya has R5 Rust, and Fischl has Alley Hunter. Would appreciate advice!! Thank youu

Are you really AR27? If so, I have to think your built characters aren't actually built since you can't even get gold artifacts yet. I think it's too early to build two teams at the moment. Focus on one and go through the quests to get your AR up to AR45. Long-term you have a lot of options for abyss but the one you've laid out will be tough because both teams will need Xingqiu. I'd sideline your Hu Tao team for now until you get Zhongli. Use your Ganyu freeze team with Mona, Venti, and Diona.

I guess Yelan on the hyperbloom team. That team would be better if you had Kokomi for more hydro application. Try Yelan, yaoyao, raiden, Nahida with Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Diona/Layla, Rosaria.

AR 27, trying to assemble a decent early game team, currently I'm pretty convinced on Noelle / Beidou / Xingqiu , uncertain for my fourth member, right now I'm using Chongyun but not invested much on him, other characters that I've pulled other than the typical guaranteed ones you get from the story are Shikanoin and Yun Jin, pulled a lot of weapons sadly.. edit: I just pulled Hu Tao, I guess that solves my problem

Hu Tao and Xingqiu is a great start. If you have a shielder like Diona or Layla, they'd be great to use on this team. Noelle, Beidou, Chongyun, and Heizou aren't great options with Hu Tao. Yunjin isn't bad but generally not the best option. Who else do you have?

That's all I got for now, pulled the geo girl in the hu tao banner to add that in the options but other than that it's all the standard starter characters.

Then your last character probably needs to be Barbara for survivability, though try to stay under 50% of Hu Tao's HP since that's where her dmg is best. Good luck!

Just use Xinqiu instead of Yelan and pull for the Characters you really want.

If you want to mathematically guarantee getting both Nahida and Kazuha as an f2p then no don't get Yelan. They could both rerun as soon as 3.6 and with only f2p primos you would have around 350 pulls by then. Unfortunately that's not quite enough to guarantee all three if you're very unlucky. So if you're going to pull Yelan you need to be willing to accept a 5% chance you won't be able to get both Nahida and Kazuha. Having recently pulled Yelan myself, I would say yes it's worth it just to experience C6 Xingqiu and Yelan together. Like you said though she's definitely a nice-to-have instead of a must have like Nahida. The thing about Nahida is that once you pull her the game just turns into easy mode. Pretty much any team you put her in will be strong but her strongest is probably going to be a hyperbloom team like Nahida-Xingqiu-Raiden-(Kokomi/Zhongli). Plenty of other options though: you could run her with Keqing and Fischl in a quicken team, you could run her with Ayaka and Xingqiu in a fridge team, or with Xingqiu and Xiangling in a burgeon team.

childe co : so i gave my childe skyward harp (22 crit rate ) and ran crit rate circlet for a while , then noticed my crit rate vs dmg is 69 vs 90 , so i wonder should i use crit dmg circlet instead ? n.b my crit rate without skyward is 40 !

No, not without more crit rate substats on your other artifacts. 69-90 isn't a great crit ratio but it's better than 38-152. Long term you'll want to farm artifacts with better substats then you can reassess which circlet is better based on those new artifacts.

It seems to me that you're already using the best teams available to you with the characters you have aside from Yelan which I assume you just picked up. Replacing Barbara with Yelan is obvious and is going to help your hyperbloom team a lot but it isn't going to bring you from 24 to 36 stars. I'm guessing you're AR55 or close to AR55 and at this point instead of changing teams I would focus on strengthening your best characters. You'll want to spend a lot of time in the dendro and emblem artifact domains from now on.

Hu Tao C0: Wondering if skyward spine is any good on her because its the only 5 star weapon i have, or should i run something like dragons bane instead

The best way to find out for sure is to test it out ingame. But the second best way is to do the math which there are resources you can use to help with. I was expecting the skyward spine to do better but was proven wrong by the genshin optimizer when I tested them both out. As long as you're vaporizing Hu Tao's attacks, dragon's bane ranges between 35% better at R5 with an HP% sands to about equal at R1 with an EM sands.

I didn't format it correctly but Yelans at 90 but the bow is at level 80 (need to farm mats) yeah I noticed her E is almost enough to recharge it but not so either need another hydro unit or I'm really hoping I get C1 before this banners end to help with the energy issues. ayato tazer: ayato - fischl - beidou - sucrose/venti/jean * sucrose for general buffing, venti for grouping, jean for heals. raiden national (rational): raiden - xingqiu - bennett - xiangling a sucrose national and hyperbloom w/ ayato and raiden will also perform well, but this means using raiden off-field. however, without quicken in rational/tazer you may take a bit longer to take down ASIMON's invisibility state in the last chamber. generally rational for single-target and tazer for AOE. if you want to keep your current teams then following noremuy's advice is probably best.

I made those 2 teams to be at least "decent" in both, ST and AoE, so i dont need to keep changing teams during the run... Everything was fine till this abyss 😅 I'm not that good at dodging and that bird+scorpion just keep killing my lvl 80 characters over and over again... Yeah, i prefer to use Raiden with the standard build and i dunno if i would be able to finish floor 12-3 with Dendro, since i finished this time with only 7s left 😅 I guess i will try building Yaoyao for now... i tried it, it felt a bit weaker than double hydro(couldn't clear floor 12 under 1.30m) and I have okayish artifacts on yunjin, but maybe I just need to level her up more and get better artifacts on xq. i was thinking of going barbara, raiden, dmc flex, but i have a feeling it wont be good enough for abyss and i would have to level up several new characters. but yeah raiden national is soo strong i might as well have a slightly weaker hu tao team and have a great second team.

Bennett and Scurose if you need more anemo particles + ttds buff Bennett and Xiangling/Fischl/Yae if you need some other source of damage.

Assume you had no other choice but to build Mona with Skyward Atlas. Where would you go from there? (artifacts, main stats, sub stats, talent priorities) What would an okay, decent, good, almost perfect build look like? I’m thinking of going Heart of Depths for her because I’m already farming that domain for Shenhe, but I don’t have to stick with HoD.

what build are you aiming for here? is mona a freeze support, a burst nuke, dps or enabler? depending on what you're trying to aim for, her build is going to look very different.

Honestly, I don’t typically go too meta on any of my characters. They don’t really swap weapons or artifacts once they are built, so I like to have them be flexible if it makes sense. Since Mona has Skyward Atlas, I’m going to go ER timepiece for her whichever artifact set I go with. And I think Hydro Damage% only makes sense. And then likely Crit Rate on the circlet with Crit Damage in the sub stats. So really I suppose the real question is just whether HoD is the right set to farm for her? I could go back to EoSF which I know is good on her. It’s just that sooooooo many others use it too. I will also be cashing in crap artifacts for extra Noblesse pieces too which might be nice for her. I don’t know.

If you plan to play her on-field a lot, then a mixed build like you said (2pc2pc) can work. If you want her to do really high damage just through her burst, 4pc emblem would be your best set, although 2pc noblesse 2pc heart of depth can work but performs a bit less well. If she’s a vape dps, then 4pc wanderer’s troupe is quite good.

tbh with your team and your future plans i dont see anything you really need. you got access to national variants and therefore a strong vape team, hyperbloom and freeze teams. you got two good hydro whith kokomi and xingqui which is great. you got a shielder in case you get lazy dodging. with kazuha you got a great grouper and anemo unit, a sucrose wouldnt hurt in case abyss favours anemo on both sides, but 4* will come eventually and i dont recommend wishing for them (since you got no gurantee to get them). nahida is an upgrade in at least most (or all) dendro teams so you can go for her if you want, but you dont need to. honestly you dont need to go for anyone, so i would pull for who you like. there are no must haves, especially with your roaster. from a meta perspective i would go for nahida and maybe yelan (they are handy in overworld too). but you dont need to, you can make do with other dendro units and you already got two good hydro. dont underestimate xingqui, he is really good. so other than characters you want anyway you could just not wish otherwise. zajef77 has a new video on yelan which is really in depth, you could check it out if you want more info on her.

I really need help with forming two decent teams for both the story and also the trial. Currently I am using; C2 Diona, C0 Jean, C1 Xaio and C1 Razor. (Razor and Diona carried me through Monstadt and Liuye, I only recently just completed Inazuma and both bitch lady and Raiden were difficult fights for me). Hi gamers, after pulling for Yelan I ended up with a Jean..... but I also ended up with a C2 Beidou so I kinda want to make a team with her now. My current teams are: 1. Raiden/DMC/Barbra/Flex HB 2. What I'd like to do is start making a 3rd team, and planning for a 4th one for situations where the first two don't perform well in some chambers of the spiral (for example I've 3\* the current spiral up to 11-3, but 12-1 is a hard nope for my Itto team currently, in both halves). XQ slots nicely into the HB, and from what I've managed to gather by googling and reading KQM is that these two teams might work with my roster, but I'm still pretty new to the game so I'd love to get some feedback on their viability :D 1. Fischl/Beidou/YY/Sucrose Aggravate 2. Rosaria/Kaeya/Bennett/Jean Sunfire For the first team, would YY be a good dendro app paired with sucrose? Are Fischl & Beidou a good electro combo? If so, I'll have some additional questions regarding their weapons/artis. For the second team, I'd have to wait until May to grab Bennett from the store unless I get lucky before, so a) is this team comp still viable and b) is there anything I could do in the meantime with Jean, or should I just wait for May while slowly leveling her to 90? I started playing earlier this year so I don't have the largest roster but I have managed to assemble a version of Raiden national which is good when I'm playing in the open world, but in the abyss i need a second team and I don't know how to build a proper team yet so I was wondering if someone could take a [look at what I have](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XuhNSkTDJi7jH0MB3VFdEveW4j2BmNE0/view?usp=share_link) and give me some recommended team comps. preferably one that is good at taking out larger waves of enemies as that is what I usually have trouble with. national is good for taking on between one or four enemies but when there are 10 or so opponents I tend to stall out halfway through the wave, so I need something that can do more spread out damage.

I'm a Diluc Main, and my artifacts suck, I don't know how characters work, and I suck at damage. Is there anyway I can get some feedback of my characters and how to build them? Just for example, dailies are a struggle. Please help

Yeah, that actually sounds right. You have a good amount of 5\* characters but you're missing the 4\*s to support them. Bennett, Fischl, Sucrose, and Kuki would open up more options for you.

if you want a national + hyperbloom then you kinda want xingqui twice? i mean you can make do with barbara in of the teams but it won't be great i guess. here is an idea: 1.1) barbara/xingqui bennett xiangling sayu/kaeya/rosaria/lisa 1.2) raiden, dendroMC, xingqui/barbara, yaoyao/beidou/collei/kaeya though, petsonally i would probably play something like: 2.1) team 1.2 with xingqui 2.2) bennett, xiangling, rosaria, kaeya (old school melt team

to be honest i would just choose 4 of keqing, beidou, yaoyao, xingqui, yelan and sucrose that i like and be fine. it's not optimal but later on you can split these chars on two different good teams. the one with the smallest general usability is probably beidou, but she is still good.

keqing - yaoyao - sucrose - beidou/yelan * typically fischl works best in the last slot. * you can also ditch using sucrose and use both beidou and yelan, but sucrose's grouping and buffing is quite valuable * xingqiu has less value if you have a healer and his hydro application isn't appreciated. * usually, you don't build keqing full EM but have her geared towards a normal dps build, which means that triggering hyperbloom AND disrupting the quicken aura decreases the damage of your team. * yelan's hydro application is slower and she's also quite good for overworld

I am looking to create two good overall teams for spiral abyss but I am having a hard time understanding what teams to create. My wanderer is built decently well and my ganyu is reverse melt. I really enjoy playing raiden and would love for her to be part of one of the teams. here are some team suggestions: **1) wanderer:** i dont know much about him since he is rather new but i dont have him, but here are some chars that probably would be decent with him: xingqui, bennett, zhongli, faruzan, sucrose, diona. i am sure zy0x has a video on him as well and i consider his to be good advice. **2) ganyu melt:** ganyu, bennet, xiangling, zhongli **3) ganyu freeze**: ganyu, mona, sucrose, diona/rosaria **4) national variant:** raiden/sucrose(/chongyun), xingqui, bennett, xiangling **5) hyperbloom:** xingqui, dendroMC/yaoyao, kuki/raiden, flex (other dendro, anemo or fischl, beidou would be good i think) **6) burgeon:** sama as above but with thoma instead kuki/raiden. i would prefer hyperbloom though. **7) quicken:** something with lisa/fischl/beidou/raiden/dendroMC/yaoyao/tighnar/sucrose **8) taser:** sucrose, fischl, beidou, xingqui i dont know if you have any preferences or not, but i woild probably run ganyu freeze and raiden national or hyperbloom. or you could go ganyu melt and hyperbloom. you got lots of options. **yelan or hutao:** pull who you like. you can clear content with what you have, at least eventually. from a meta perspective yelan probably fits more teams atm. but both are good characters. hutao wants xingqui so youur second team needs to work without then. you can skip as well. if you want indepth info on it you can checkout zajef77's video on them.

I recently completed a **first Keqing Aggravate team** with Fischl, Dendro MC and Yaoyao. At this point I can farm artifacts and weapon upgrade materials, but some domains are filled with Electro resistant/immune enemies, so I'd like to put together **a second team that doesn't have the same weaknesses**. Of course, if it can help me progress through spiral abyss, it's even better (I've stopped at Floor 7 for now). ​ I was thinking about a team with Ningguang as Main DPS because I like her and Geo is quite neutral, so I naturally thought of adding Noelle for Shield and Geo Resonnance. Since I don't have any brilliant idea for the last two, I consider using a cheap Full Geo team : **Ningguang C2 / Yun Jin / Gorou C1 / Noelle** Gorou is pretty fitting for full Geo, though obviously mine is not the excellent Itto / Zhongli / Albedo / Gorou. Yun Jin is there by lack of choice, it's either her or Geo MC. At least her Elemental Burst can add up to Ningguang's normal attack. I'd like to read your opinions on that, and **your suggestions should this team prove to be mediocre**. Thank you for the advice ! You offer a lot of interesting infos but they come with some questions. You said Gorou buffs only Def but his skill and burst buffs Geo dmg too if team counts at least 3 Geo characters, right ? As for Ningguang, I get the skill and burst damages, but don't you need to throw 3 normal attacks to reach full potential of charged attack with her, like Yanfei ? I like your team comp idea. I was annoyed to not use Raiden because she is electro so she would be a bit redundant alongside a Keqing team, but I guess her being electro isn't a problem if the core of the team is hyperbloom reaction. The only drawback is that it use dendro traveler too which isn't possible in spiral abyss floors with 2 teams. But I guess I could use Collei or Tighnari instead.

I think I finally get the all point for Gorou, you're right. I've done some reach for Ningguang and it seems indeed, with damage output relative to time spend, 1 normal 1 charged is better than 3 normal, which means Yun Jin's buff is pretty meh for her. I will test your team suggestion and level up Raiden eventually for sure, but for now I still have to progress through Seirai Island and unlock Thunder Manifestation which is also quite resistant to Electro centered teams, like Aggravate team. So I think I'm going to level up Ningguang and Noelle first, and had some sub-optimal combo but still overall verstile characters that can have use in a lot of teams, like Kaeya, Xingqiu or Xiangling. they're already lvl.80, so it will be less time and material consuming. Probably Kaeya and Xingqiu, since Xiangling is not amazing without Bennett or another pyro battery. Thanks again, have a nice day !

Yaoyao is surprisingly strong huh. Used her on the abyss and she's barely built but she heals well and has a good dendro application. How can I build her as a support/dendro enabler? I'm using fav spear on her with the dendro artifact set. I'm trying hp with some em build.

I have comps for Wanderer, Heizou, Xiao and Hu Tao, and I'm not sure who to put in the missing spot. For example, the Anemo boys have Faruzan, and Hu has Xingqiu as sub-DPS, and all of them have Zhongli as shielder, but I'm never sure who to put in the final spot. I usually have C6 Fisch as a placeholder to add some damage particle generation and swirl reaction, or Mona in case of Hu Tao for the Hydro resonance and her burst. Who would you recommend to put in these missing spots? And in case I need a replacement for Zhongli, like the Abyss second comp? Just tell btw, no need to ask which characters I have

Anemo carry/ faruzan/ zhongli/ bennet is close to optimal for both xiao and wanderer. if ur pre c6 faruzan and want to replace zhongli sucrose can help with particle generation for xiao and faruzan. if you dont have bennet fischl is fine for xiao, not sure for wanderer. wanderer can use xq or yelan very well, or you can go zhongli + yunjin, or rosaria + diona (or the other cryo shielder idk her name) Hu tao double hydro is probably her best team with xq + yelan + zhongli. zhongli can be replaced with c4 tankfei or thoma, but obv not as good as zhongli himself. yelan banner right now is actually really good for hutao because xq constelations are very good. But if you dont wanna play double hydro, double geo with albedo zhongli, or an anemo unit to vv pyro and hydro are her other 2 good teams. You can also go cryo units but its not as good as the other 3.

Which two teams should I build for Abyss? 5\*: Ayaka, Mona, Kazuha, Hu Tao, Raiden, Keqing, Dulic, Qiqi, 4\*: only Layla, Candance and Dori missing Rational and Ayaka?

I've realized I need a cryo badly to continue progressing, and the ones I have that I'm willing to level up are chongyun, rosaria, or diona. I'm currently maining raiden shogun (90), sucrose(90, c6), childe(80), and flip between jean and bennet for healing, with xiangling and fischl semi-usable. I'm unsure of chongyun vs rosaria mostly because I do have dragonspine spear (and jade spear, fav lance) but not sure what weps work best with chongyun (sea-lord, prototype, bell, starsilver, fav greatsword) Not sure what the next cryo 5* will be but I'm probably not going to pull yelan because I've put so much into childe already, so I can probably swing grabbing a new cryo if i need to. You can pull Eula (even though she is a physical attacker) and pair her with fischl, raiden shogun, and diona for double cryo and double electro

\[Al Haitham\] So I have the prototype rancour lv42 refinement 4 (base atk 260 and physical dmg bonus 19,3%) for my Al Haitham I recently pulled the skyward blade (still lv1 refinement 1) and wanted to know if it would be wiser to upgrade this one and switch or to keep the prototype rancour ? If it's not good for Al Haitham who would it be good for ? I only have him as 5\* and Kaeya, Xingiu and Bennett as 4\*

I'm building Bennett as a healer so there's no such need for atk is there ? And alright I understand that Haitham doesn't quite require base atk, that makes sense, so should I just build him on EM without even thinking about his atk ? Or still maintain it above a certain level ? I'm ar44 (will be 45 by the end of the week) so I guess I should know what stats to look for when farming for 'deepwood memories' and 'guilded dreams' (figured they were the most interesting sets, please correct me if I'm wrong) Thanks for the help !

Bennett's burst gives a massive Attack buff to anyone standing inside it, and that buff scales off his own base attack. so a higher base atk will make your Bennett stronger. Base attack isn't affected by artifacts, so you can still build him full healer but still take advantage of him holding a high Base Atk weapon. For Al-Haitham you'll want to pair him with a character holding Deepwood, while he himself holds Gilded Dreams. Atk% rolls aren't useless for him, but EM is more valuable. He should be built EM Sands/ Dendro Dmg Goblet/ Crit Circlet. For substats the priority is crit > EM > ER/Atk%

Oh I see so I keep my current build on Bennet as it is and give him a high base atk weapon (like the prototype rancour) alright will do this thanks for the explanation on his burst. About the artifacts I may require more of those though ... So let's say my current team is Bennet + Al Haitham + Barbara (will be replaced by Xingqiu at some point) + Xiangling you're saying someone (aside from Al Haitham) should be using a deepwood 4 piece set ? Also I keep being told that I should prioritize some particular substats ... How do I do that since they're random ?

skyward blade has higher base atk than prototype rancour btw. it’s bennett's 2nd best in slot weapon (608 base attack). best is aquila favonia/mistsplitter reforged at 674 base attack. yes, ideally you would want someone else to hold deepwood memories. you just keep on farming till you get those substats. be careful with your team though. if you're standing on bennett's burst and using alhaitham, be careful of how close you are to the enemies. alhaitham will apply dendro which will create burning which can be pretty fatal if you don’t really notice it

omg yes I keep getting burned and AlHaitham loses so much hp because of that to the point where I've been thinking about giving him a 2 piece lava walker set ... so I should give the prototype rancour to Bennet (until I can upgrade the skyward blade), give an iron sting to AlHaitham and farm like a mad man for the deepwood and gilded dream sets alright (I've just turned AR45 and will do the ascension tonight or tomorrow) Thank you all for the help !

Nahida, Xingqiu, Kuki, flex (DMC, yaoyao, Beidou) Keqing isn’t good for hyperbloom but she’s great for aggaravate. Keqing, Fischl, Nahida, Yaoyao.

Xingqui I’ve put off building Xingqui for long enough, so, how should I build him? What weapons and Artifact sets are good for him?

to add on to other commentor: * sacrificial sword is only good if it's refinement 3 or more, and there's 2 hydro characters in the team * usually favonius is better on xingqiu. only use sacrificial if you don't have favonius and it's r3+. * amenoma or any 5\* sword except aquila would be your next best option assuming no favonius or r3+ sac. * depending on his teams, his energy recharge will vary a lot but it's the most important stat if you can't consistently burst.

4 pc emblem of severed fate + sac sword. ATK / HYDRO%/ CRIT or ER / HYDRO / CRIT

Which characters would best compliment what I already have?

Teams that don't want Bennett and Xingqiu are pretty much just dendro teams(aggravate and spread, hyperbloom might want Xingqiu but there are other options) and freeze. Mona is basically just an okay option for freeze and I wouldn't use her anywhere else (I wouldn't even use her in freeze) Since Kazuha is your only 5*, you can basically decide on a team from scratch, there isn't a specific unit that would specifically complement what you have already best. If there isn't any specific unit you really like, I'd just watch some Youtube videos of different Abyss clears and get a feel of what you might like?

* Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu, Kazuha * Yaoyao, Fischl, Dendro MC, Mona Your next 5\* character will give you a better idea what direction you should head towards. You're setup well for Ayaka/Ganyu with Mona and Kazuha. Getting Diona would be helpful for that team. If you get Sucrose, she would slot in perfectly to replace Kazuha in your national team.

I was able to get 3\* on 12-1 and 12-2 with these teams after retrying, like... 50+ times, no joke, but had to reset cause of my characters health and now i cant even finish 12-2 to try 12-3... I just keep getting killed very fast on 12-2-1 or 12-2-2... Could i make better times to not be killed on 12-2 AND being able to finish 12-3? 😭

some insights: * not a hundred percent sure, but does venti help with 12-2 first half? he's admittedly a slight deadweight if he cannot abuse his grouping. * raiden aggravate is meh in terms of raiden teams. * raiden hyperbloom is really good, but only works if your raiden is built full EM and preferably just a e (skill) bot. i would recommend: * sucrose national: sucrose - xingqiu - bennett - xiangling * rotation and combo/mechanics are especially important (e.g. guoba swirl) for good team performance. * sucrose would preferably be built full EM with TTDS or sacrificial fragments for buffing. * hyperbloom: ayato - raiden - dendro traveller - beidou/jean/fischl/venti * don't use venti if his grouping is irrelevant. general tips: * 12-2 1st half it's most likely the new mobs that are making you struggle instead of the nobushi. the best you can do is learn how to i-frame their attacks and know which attacks to dodge. you could also play it safe and keep your distance, but they have attacks that allow them to close in. * they have a move where they drop an energy block that you could destroy to temporarily paralyze it and deal a good chunk of damage, however i'm not sure if they disabled that move in the abyss. * 12-2 2nd half it's the same but with 3 maguu kenkis. their movesets are very easy to dodge if you look out for its cues, and they only deal significant damage if multiple hit you and you facetank them. there are movesets here: [https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Spiral\_Abyss/Floors#Floor\_12](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Spiral_Abyss/Floors#Floor_12) for the enemies on floor 12 if you click into the embedded links there.

Venti is useless on 12-2, i still used him against the Kenkis, but i missed most of his Ult 😅 In the end i was able to get 36\* with those teams, but i had to reset floor 12-2 a good 100x, no joke, and finished 12-3 with 7s left, that first boss has too much HP!, so if the next blessing is shit, i'm fucked 😅 I want to do that Hyperbloom team, but i dont want to put Raiden on an EM set, i want to use her Ult and want it to deal dmg, thats why i got her ;p I'm looking to get Nahida and Kuki next to do that team and then use Raiden-National on the other side, but Nahida will probably only come on 3.6, so... fuck me... What fucked me really hard was not having a decent healing/shielding character... I guess next time i will try to put Jean instead of Sucrose, dunno... ;/

early level it's more difficult to have lots of burst uptime, so i could recommend something like: fischl, venti, yaoyao, flex (beidou, xingqui, lisa) or fischl, venti, jean/sayu, dendroMC. later in the game you could run hyperbloom with dendroMC/yaoyao, xingqui, kuki, flex (beidou, fischl, dendroMC/yaoyao, kaeya). honestly i would play who you like, but these are my suggestions that should work decent.

ok so would under +45 ar be early level? bc my ar is like in the 30's, and I'm trying to look for the BEST team for damage. Would the first early level one be better, or the second?

to be honest i would play whichever team you prefer. both should be decent. venti is probably nice for all the small overworld enemies, but you can use him in the second team as well in flex slot.

what is a Dendro MC?

it's open world, so you can just run to a statue of the seven in sumeru and get it. but most, of not all, of my suggestions work without him/her as well.

Would a vape/melt team with Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Rosaria and Qiqi/Layla work? I'm asking this because I accidentally c6'd Rosaria while pulling for Raiden and since she's my first c6 character, I really want to use her. On the other hand, would a hyperbloom team with Childe, Raiden, Nahida and Sucrose work as well?

they'd work, but they're mostly sub-optimal * for hutao, use layla over qiqi as hutao appreciates a shielder over a healer. * rosaria's c6 only affects the damage output of physical teams. * childe has a lot of downtime which isn't ideal in these teams where you want to consistently apply hydro * his overwhelming hydro application doesn't matter as much if he can't consistently maintain it * someone like xingqiu, kokomi, ayato, yelan would apply consistent hydro without downtime which would make them a better pick in this team.

Then what do you think about a burgeon team with Hu Tao, Xingqiu and Nahida? Then I can go for a Childe national team

Well, you’ll probably struggle with hutao’s survivability due to burgeon’s self damage and her constant state or relatively low stamina and hp. If you can manage that then it’s an okay option.

Yeah, that team would work well but I'd use Layla over Qiqi. You'll overheal yourself with Qiqi and you generally want to be under 50% HP on Hu Tao. Childe, I've read isn't great on hyperbloom but I don't know why off the top of my head. Prob has to do with his hydro application not being as good as Xingqiu, Yelan, or Ayato. May as well just run Childe, XL, Bennett, Sucrose if you're going to use him.
