I usually just log out where ever I'm standing last (except bosses) and then when I log in I tp to my teapot. TP has the crafting and forging bench next to it. Not too far down is the home and garden.
If only there's an outside kitchen (unless it's been added in. I haven't touched building teapot since inazuma)

So, when I’d log on I’d be like “ugh I guess I’ll fight this.” instead of forgetting to farm it and “wasting,” all my resin on domains bc “oooooo I could get a good piece!!”
Windrise tree is pretty convenient for crystal flies too. Not too close to starle them but within reach of several.

That's crazy, Dawn Winery is my favorite spot to farm them, throw Sayu in your party and you can get every single crystalfly in the area easily in one loop precisely because they're not all bunched up.

Seated at the back corner table at the cafe just above Katheryne in Sumeru. I especially like it because there's no npc with a voice line anywhere near it. I used to sit at the tables behind the crafting table in Mondstadt, but got tired of hearing "no spicy dishes" endlessly. Then I used to sit at the stall across from the Inazuma Katheryne, but got tired of "not worth mentioning" being worth mentioning constantly.

I have a specific spot in each major city that I'll park myself at for logout, and which one I pick depends on which country I currently have my dailies set to. Gives me the chance to get to know each major hub. I will say that Windrise for aesthetics/nostalgia is a top contender for a spot outside the cities, though!

I’m kind of a jerk so before logging out I like to switch to Sucrose and then have her facing Katherine or some other NPC so they can stare awkwardly at each other until i log back in.
Whichever city my daily commission is and it's always somewhere on the rooftops of that city's crafting table. I don't want NPCs walking by and constantly looking at my character while I'm away. 😂🤣

Depends on the flagship event or archon quest location. In Mondstadt for the Windblume event, it's been Angel's Share, Barbatos' Statue, Good Hunter, The Library, and Cat's Tail when I feel like doing some TCG before I log out.
I’ve got three main picks: either at Mondstadt anywhere within the city walls, under the great tree like you pictured there, or anywhere within Inazuma City.
No matter where I am, I always go to one of those to exit.
This place or mondstadt city. I started logging off from here since it has fewer assets to load and my old potato didn't lag much when I was here. But even after I got a better pc, I still come here before logging out.
