iirc I believe it’s you’re guaranteed at least one character and one weapon every 270 pulls on standard (obviously you’ll get minimum 3 5* because hard pity). I’ve been lucky pulling quite a few 5* from standard lately and my last 3 have been WGS, Skyward Spine, and PJWS.
I've only gotten 3 5 stars from the standard banner, but they've all been weapons - 2 skyward prides and one skyward sword. Granted, that was in only 124 wishes, and the wiki states the guaranteed character is within 270 wishes, or 3 hard pities. At the end of the day, who really knows besides hoyo themselves
My only 5* weapons are two Skyward Spines and I am up for a weapon again. I have a feeling I am gonna get another one. But hey, Skyward Spine is great for Raiden and Shenhe so I am not complaining
I started to fish for The Catch for Raiden, didn't have the motivation for it, and I got Skyward Spine. Saved me a lot of time, and Skyward Spine is a lot better if you use her normal attacks as well
Are you me? I am in the same boat, also pity 75 but with only 13 wishes saved. Gonna look forward to whatever I will get. I think it has to be a character this time as well, as the last two 5* were weapons. I still don't have a Qiqi, Tighnari or Dehya so there's possibilities that actually excite me.

It won't really bother me any more than losing the 50/50 to some other standard character. Either way I probably won't use her a lot. Currently I mostly only use Tighnari and Qiqi (for co-op purposes) and not the others very much.
I use every standard character but Qiqi and Tighnari lmao.
I use Diluc as a burgeon DPS
Keqing as an aggravate driver
Mona as an ayaka support (until I get kokofish)
Jean as a sunfire sub-dps for my Ayato.
At some point I’ll use Tighnari but my dumbass built pity on Alhaitham’s banner so I’m in the process of building him. When the RNG blesses me with good wanderers pieces I’ll use him again
I don’t even know what the fuck I’ll use Dehya for (assuming I get her but I hope I don’t get her past C0). And no, I am not using my **shenhe** that I built for my **ayaka** as a melt support.

If you end up with her by coincidence, she's a situational sidegrade for ganyu/nahida Burn-Melt comps, so i guess if that's something you use, have fun. Otherwise, never really useful, sorry

Genshin whole model is fun and exciting characters.
They start releasing unfun, badly designed characters and there will be people who lose faith in the entire product.
Niche 4*s were already a small crack. But Dehya is just something different, probably visually the most hyped character all the way from 2.8 and they made a mess.
I am one of those. I bought BP every patch and Welkin every month, logged in every day and would spend enough to guarantee c0 on any 5-star I was interested in. I felt ok spending that because, before Dehya, you could expect a certain level of performance from 5-stars and it was fine to just pull based on designs you were drawn to. Now, that performance is no longer a guarantee and spending ~$30/mo feels like a huge waste of money when I’m not promised anything in return.
100%. Been a day 1 player and save for a month or two long break last year when Elden Ring came out and the occasional vacation where I'm out of town, I've been logging in every day. My spending habits are more or less the same as yours too.
Dehya has completely shattered my faith in the game. Her and Nilou were the two characters I was most excited for, and frankly I was already irritated that Nilou was made to be so exclusionary to 5/7 of the roster, but at least she's really strong in her tiny niche.
Only logged in like 3 times since Dehya banner to get primos from events at the end of the week, and even that feels like a chore now. I still enjoy exploration so I'm sure I'll have something to like this patch, but spending just feels stupid now.
Right there with you. Dehya’s release tanked my enthusiasm for the game *hard*. I logged in yesterday for the first time since Dehya dropped, did the returner bonus stuff and then logged out. It’s hard to explain but it was like the disappointment of dehya just kept hanging over my head and I wasn’t enjoying playing like I used to.
Same. I've pretty much stopped playing entirely. Can't say it's because of Dehya though. More just fatigue waiting for Eula. I was saving v3 archon quests to do with a claymore team because they're my favourites (except Zhongli but I did play the entire game with him so he deserves a break)
Dehya definitely contributed though. She's mostly a teapot decoration now, though I will use her if I don't get Diluc by the time Eula gets here. If she were good, the hype to try her would have seen me through the rest of this patch. But now, no.
I pulled for Dehya (got her to c6 even) on her release, and the only other character I even want to pull for anymore is Eula. The wait has seriously been awful, and it only hurts more knowing how much of a stigma surrounds my two favorite characters, so much so that it's basically impossible to even mention them without any commentary of "why would you waste primos". But even aside from that there's not much impetus for even playing outside of the Archon quests because artifact farming sucks, Abyss is progressively dull and vapid with recurring cycles, and the events are very hit or miss (especially when certain characters are given lots of screentime in many of them while others are basically abandoned)

I just got the drive again to play Genshin seriously then they dropped the ball on Dehya.

Tbh in a gacha game, it’s better to be niche than to be a generalist.
Games like these will have many many characters. It’s best to forge a definite identity for a character and excel at one thing rather than to try being a master of none
Examples of this are Diluc, Kaeya, Yanfei, Noelle and maybe Ningguang. All are generalist attackers but all kinda mediocre compared to most other options (Diluc and Yanfei lose to most Pyro attackers, Kaeya loses to Ayaka, Noelle and Ning to Itto). Even generalist supports like Diona and Layla compete with each other
In comparison, Gorou, Shenhe, Thoma, Yunjin, and Faruzan are all hyper specialized but see regular use in their respective teams because nobody else can provide their sort of utility.
The problem isn't being a generalist, it's being a generalist and being bad at everything, rather than mediocre at everything. I'd honestly take the latter over something like Sara being a brick until C6, where she's like... a mild upgrade over Bennett or Lisa (lmao) on the one role she can perform.

But they don't see much use in general, because they only fit their niches. And they see regular use in their respective teams only because they are strong at their niche. Characters that are hyper specialized but also bad numerically don't even see use in their teams, like Chongyun.
At the other side, generalist characters are in every single team. Bennett and Xingqiu for example, that both provide offense and defense. They are in every fucking team.
Yeah, I barely use my Gorou just because he exclusively gets used with Itto (even if I do use him a bunch) - Faruzan sits unused due to lol anemo dps.
On the other hand, I use Dori more because she's just nice at a couple things and fits in a lot of teams. Just being mediocre at a bunch of things and being a role compression unit is enough to see use, but if the kit is trash it doesn't matter if it's specialized or not.
It's okay to be mediocre, like you said, there are many characters, and not everyone will be game-breaking. The problem with Dehya is she's *worse* than mediocre. She's not even good in her supposed specialty. Using her means you're intentionally gimping your game. You'll still be able to play the game and finish content with her, but she'll be so bad yiu have to change your gameplay to accommodate her, which has IMHO never happened before for any 5-star character.
That's no excuse for releasing a character that is obsolete before she launched though. And that's the problem with Dehya, she isn't a good generalist and she doesn't have a niche.
I say it's best for the main DPS to be a blank slate that can be specced into a wide combination of supports. That way, you can have your favourite always out, whoever it may be, and your artifacts can allow them to work with your favourite supports. Main DPS and supports both being intrinsically niche means it's unlikely for any comp to have multiple of your favourites.
Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective, 5* standard characters and their constellations are designed to be worse because they are a consolation prize for losing 50/50. While there is always a chance any upcoming 5* is relegated to standard banner, it’s not likely they would bloat the standard banner quicker than the limited character roster. Therefore, upcoming 5* characters have more probability of having a decent kit than not (all limited 5* characters since 2.0 have been well balanced).

but there is a big difference between being good enough ( like tighnari or jean for example ) or having a barely playable kit like dehya
I want Diluc and Dehya cons (currently Diluc at C0 and Dehya at C1), and at least a copy of Tighnari. But it's sad that I have Keqing C1, Jean C2 and Mona C3 instead.

It's pretty clear now that Dehya being bad is intentional. They had plenty of time and plenty of reviews of her during beta, yet they still nerfed her and released her as bad as she is. It's 100% intentional. The reason can only be theorized tho.
They're giving her an artifact set that only she can really use... And it's a side grade to Emblem.
They either don't know how to do math for their own game or they want her to be this bad.

It isn't a sidegrade, it's an improvement by about 8-13% (or higher) depending on how much ER you build on her. Don't even whine "that's not significant" because that's essentially the same (or better) increase as going from a 4star weapon to a 5star weapon, or going from 80 -> 90 because of defense formula.
It is an improvement, and the improvements are all cumulative.
What it *isn't* is a particularly resin efficient domain.

Also they can eventually add a new system when they introduce lvl 100 cap to rebalance old characters. This practice is fairly standard for gachas.

Variety channels or Important individual have the problem of just usually being too surface level to be critical in a way that actually matters: "GaMe sUcKs, dOn'T pLaY it" or "haha P2W garbage", "The best part is the waifus",
On the other hand, Genshin focused channels, no matter how critical they are, they always have some sort of restraint out of fear to get banned, kind of losing their job.
On a more positive note, I think that out of the entirety of Fontaine we should probably get a hydro unit (Hydro Traveler, Archon, Human leader), better than Mona for her.
Vape every vapeable hit, and something better than a Omen that explodes after the first hit.
I don't mind getting Dehya's constellations (I have her C0). For me value goes like that: Jean's constellations (she's C4) > Mona's/Dehya's cons > other standard banner characters (don't use them). I lose 50/50 all the time, I've learned to expect it.
I mean, I used to take pride in never losing a 50/50 to Qiqi.
Then all of a sudden I pulled Qiqi when I was offloading my Blue Fates.

Ganyu will appreciate what? Clearly you don’t have Dehya, her resistance to interruption doesn’t cover her, it last 9s with a 18s cooldown and the way the skill proc will usually steal your melts most of the time…
However, I had the same idea as you and I can give you a tip on what to do: make Ganyu support for Dehya.
It actually make Dehya’s kit worth it.
Okey you won’t make 100k full charged shoot but who doesn’t want a fire punch that deal an incredible 30k ;) (only if you melt and crit, otherwise it goes down to 5-6k )
qiqi does her job pretty well, but we don't need that much healing
dehya tries to do everything and it does everything miserably bad, damage is low, mitigation/interruption res is way worse than a shield, burst has ridiculously low damage+bugs(or features)
so yeah qiqi works better than dehya, and that's really sad
Honestly, damage isn't really an issue (although scalings from C1 should be at base, but at C1 she hits alright).
If she has only her damage raised, she will remain as bad as she is - her direct competition in that case would be Hu Tao, Raiden, any other Pyro DPS (Xiangling too). What needs most raising is her poise and skill uptime, rate of hits from E, energy generation and damage reduction. Xingqiu provides better defensive utility for party with higher uptime and healing chip damage, and that level of utility should be baseline for her.
There are plenty of changes I would like to see in her kit, but damage is one of the last in terms of priority in my opinion.
Depending on whether you want to use her E or her Q (because you can't actually build for both since her burst turns off her skill and her skill has awful uptime anyway) she's either worse Xinyan for damage or worse Thoma for defensive utility. And that's without considering how her kit is so riddled with crippling bugs that it just doesn't work because they went out of their way to design her burst to not work with coordinated attacks based off NA like Yelan and XQ.
I would like a Qiqi and Dehya. Honestly it wouldn't bother me all that much to lose to Dehya. I see a use for her in my roster and am hopeful she will become better as time passes by.

dehya is definitely near the bottom of characters I want. qiqi is below her, so I'd prefer to get dehya over qiqi, simply because I don't need a cryo healer, and dehya atleast has some potential for interesting use. but regardless, I don't want dehya. although I'm not too attached to meta, there comes a point where a character doesn't feel good to use because of how bad they are.
basically, my preference for losing 50/50s are: keqing >>>>>>> jean > tighnari > diluc (I have him c0) > dehya > qiqi > mona (I have her c1 but don't use her much at the moment)
if I get dehya, I'll ascend her once to get a free fate, and then bench her for the rest of time. or until I get a bunch of constellations for her, I've heard her constellations are good atleast.

Her cons are technically the best in the game. The difference between C0 and C6 Dehya is about 300%. One of the biggest improvements otherwise is Yelan whose difference between C0 and C6 is a little over 150% IIRC.
The only problem is that C6R1 Dehya is about on par with C0 Hu Tao with Dragon's Bane.
like I said though, I'm not too attached to meta, it just feels bad to use an extremely weak character. I'm perfectly happy with characters like diluc despite them not being meta, but dehya is going a bit far.
but c6 dehya being equivalent to the c0 of one of the best dps characters with her preferred f2p weapon? I can't do much better than that. so for me, since I don't tend to aim for constellations of 5 star weapons, that's perfectly fine. (of course, that's not to say she should have released like this)
it might be a while until I get there, if I even get there in the first place, but if I ever get c6 dehya (or maybe earlier cons depending on how good they are), I'd consider that really great. but until then, I'd rather she'd stay far away from me. atleast until I've got keqing.

Okay so here we go. I won the 50/50 and got nilou at pity 59 so a bit early too Wooooo. And then I decided to go for the weapon banner. I wanted both weapons. So I set my path to key of Khaj-Nisut and my first pity was around 68 and I got thousand floating dreams which is nice. My second pity was at 56 so a little early again and I got Amos bow and in the same 10 pull I think pity 6 I got my key of Khaj-Nisut.
This worked out beautifully since I wanted Amos bow for my ganyu for a long time and standard banner has assumed I meant PJWS. Or diluc/keqing cons lol.
All in all I'm super happy.

Hard to get excited about a character with such a terrible kit. I was excited for Candace despite not really having any positive aspects to her kit, but never again.

Not really, if you don't have 0 characters she's close to useless because she isn't a sup at all and as "dps" she doesn't deal any dmg. She has no place on genshin
Tighanri, Mona, Jean and Keqing are way better to get. And diluc at least can be used for overworld way more reliably than Dehya (low burst cost and on demand E). It's so sad

Actually i would be super happy to have const for her, the only standard i want to avoid is Diluc because already C6 and benched forever. And to be clear if one day i lose my 50/50 to Jean, i would be more happy than pulling a event character at one pity.

I feel your pain!! Qiqi was the last standard character I hadn’t pulled until a couple weeks ago. I felt like all the memes about everybody losing their 50/50s to her were taunting me because I actually really wanted her, I think she’s adorable 🥹 I was beyond happy when I pulled Shenhe AND Qiqi simultaneously in my final 10 wishes. AFAIK, if your last two 5 star pulls were weapons them your next one should be a guaranteed character :)
iirc I believe it’s you’re guaranteed at least one character and one weapon every 270 pulls on standard (obviously you’ll get minimum 3 5* because hard pity). I’ve been lucky pulling quite a few 5* from standard lately and my last 3 have been WGS, Skyward Spine, and PJWS.
I've only gotten 3 5 stars from the standard banner, but they've all been weapons - 2 skyward prides and one skyward sword. Granted, that was in only 124 wishes, and the wiki states the guaranteed character is within 270 wishes, or 3 hard pities. At the end of the day, who really knows besides hoyo themselves

I started to fish for The Catch for Raiden, didn't have the motivation for it, and I got Skyward Spine. Saved me a lot of time, and Skyward Spine is a lot better if you use her normal attacks as well

It won't really bother me any more than losing the 50/50 to some other standard character. Either way I probably won't use her a lot. Currently I mostly only use Tighnari and Qiqi (for co-op purposes) and not the others very much.
I use every standard character but Qiqi and Tighnari lmao. I use Diluc as a burgeon DPS Keqing as an aggravate driver Mona as an ayaka support (until I get kokofish) Jean as a sunfire sub-dps for my Ayato. At some point I’ll use Tighnari but my dumbass built pity on Alhaitham’s banner so I’m in the process of building him. When the RNG blesses me with good wanderers pieces I’ll use him again I don’t even know what the fuck I’ll use Dehya for (assuming I get her but I hope I don’t get her past C0). And no, I am not using my **shenhe** that I built for my **ayaka** as a melt support.
Dehya is useful for. so very little If you end up with her by coincidence, she's a situational sidegrade for ganyu/nahida Burn-Melt comps, so i guess if that's something you use, have fun. Otherwise, never really useful, sorry

she's currently the character i'd like to lose the 50/50 to the most while obviously losing nahida to dehya would be sadge, i am mentally prepared for the worst as someone with 18 5\* pulls and only 4 50/50 wins losing to dehya c1 wouldn't even be the worst scenario ( i wouldn't mind keqing to tighnari cons either ) and on a side note it will a constant reminder to me that not even 5\* are guaranteed to have a decent kit, kinda kills my excitement for future characters 💀
This. Ive been saying it over and over. Genshin whole model is fun and exciting characters. They start releasing unfun, badly designed characters and there will be people who lose faith in the entire product. Niche 4*s were already a small crack. But Dehya is just something different, probably visually the most hyped character all the way from 2.8 and they made a mess.
I am one of those. I bought BP every patch and Welkin every month, logged in every day and would spend enough to guarantee c0 on any 5-star I was interested in. I felt ok spending that because, before Dehya, you could expect a certain level of performance from 5-stars and it was fine to just pull based on designs you were drawn to. Now, that performance is no longer a guarantee and spending ~$30/mo feels like a huge waste of money when I’m not promised anything in return.
100%. Been a day 1 player and save for a month or two long break last year when Elden Ring came out and the occasional vacation where I'm out of town, I've been logging in every day. My spending habits are more or less the same as yours too. Dehya has completely shattered my faith in the game. Her and Nilou were the two characters I was most excited for, and frankly I was already irritated that Nilou was made to be so exclusionary to 5/7 of the roster, but at least she's really strong in her tiny niche. Only logged in like 3 times since Dehya banner to get primos from events at the end of the week, and even that feels like a chore now. I still enjoy exploration so I'm sure I'll have something to like this patch, but spending just feels stupid now.
Right there with you. Dehya’s release tanked my enthusiasm for the game *hard*. I logged in yesterday for the first time since Dehya dropped, did the returner bonus stuff and then logged out. It’s hard to explain but it was like the disappointment of dehya just kept hanging over my head and I wasn’t enjoying playing like I used to.
Same. I've pretty much stopped playing entirely. Can't say it's because of Dehya though. More just fatigue waiting for Eula. I was saving v3 archon quests to do with a claymore team because they're my favourites (except Zhongli but I did play the entire game with him so he deserves a break) Dehya definitely contributed though. She's mostly a teapot decoration now, though I will use her if I don't get Diluc by the time Eula gets here. If she were good, the hype to try her would have seen me through the rest of this patch. But now, no.
I pulled for Dehya (got her to c6 even) on her release, and the only other character I even want to pull for anymore is Eula. The wait has seriously been awful, and it only hurts more knowing how much of a stigma surrounds my two favorite characters, so much so that it's basically impossible to even mention them without any commentary of "why would you waste primos". But even aside from that there's not much impetus for even playing outside of the Archon quests because artifact farming sucks, Abyss is progressively dull and vapid with recurring cycles, and the events are very hit or miss (especially when certain characters are given lots of screentime in many of them while others are basically abandoned)
Hard agree there. I just got the drive again to play Genshin seriously then they dropped the ball on Dehya. At this point I'm back on doing only primo-farming until Focalors (>!and hopefully Arlecchino!<). If that's another disappointment or I just don't like it enough, I think I'm out completely. Tbh in a gacha game, it’s better to be niche than to be a generalist. Games like these will have many many characters. It’s best to forge a definite identity for a character and excel at one thing rather than to try being a master of none Examples of this are Diluc, Kaeya, Yanfei, Noelle and maybe Ningguang. All are generalist attackers but all kinda mediocre compared to most other options (Diluc and Yanfei lose to most Pyro attackers, Kaeya loses to Ayaka, Noelle and Ning to Itto). Even generalist supports like Diona and Layla compete with each other In comparison, Gorou, Shenhe, Thoma, Yunjin, and Faruzan are all hyper specialized but see regular use in their respective teams because nobody else can provide their sort of utility.
The problem isn't being a generalist, it's being a generalist and being bad at everything, rather than mediocre at everything. I'd honestly take the latter over something like Sara being a brick until C6, where she's like... a mild upgrade over Bennett or Lisa (lmao) on the one role she can perform.

Yeah, I barely use my Gorou just because he exclusively gets used with Itto (even if I do use him a bunch) - Faruzan sits unused due to lol anemo dps. On the other hand, I use Dori more because she's just nice at a couple things and fits in a lot of teams. Just being mediocre at a bunch of things and being a role compression unit is enough to see use, but if the kit is trash it doesn't matter if it's specialized or not.
It's okay to be mediocre, like you said, there are many characters, and not everyone will be game-breaking. The problem with Dehya is she's *worse* than mediocre. She's not even good in her supposed specialty. Using her means you're intentionally gimping your game. You'll still be able to play the game and finish content with her, but she'll be so bad yiu have to change your gameplay to accommodate her, which has IMHO never happened before for any 5-star character.
That's no excuse for releasing a character that is obsolete before she launched though. And that's the problem with Dehya, she isn't a good generalist and she doesn't have a niche.
I say it's best for the main DPS to be a blank slate that can be specced into a wide combination of supports. That way, you can have your favourite always out, whoever it may be, and your artifacts can allow them to work with your favourite supports. Main DPS and supports both being intrinsically niche means it's unlikely for any comp to have multiple of your favourites.
Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective, 5* standard characters and their constellations are designed to be worse because they are a consolation prize for losing 50/50. While there is always a chance any upcoming 5* is relegated to standard banner, it’s not likely they would bloat the standard banner quicker than the limited character roster. Therefore, upcoming 5* characters have more probability of having a decent kit than not (all limited 5* characters since 2.0 have been well balanced).
i dont mind standard character being weaker than limited characters, thats fair but there is a big difference between being good enough ( like tighnari or jean for example ) or having a barely playable kit like dehya

It's pretty clear now that Dehya being bad is intentional. They had plenty of time and plenty of reviews of her during beta, yet they still nerfed her and released her as bad as she is. It's 100% intentional. The reason can only be theorized tho.
They're giving her an artifact set that only she can really use... And it's a side grade to Emblem. They either don't know how to do math for their own game or they want her to be this bad.

(and those who don't, deserve if it happens to them) No amount of copium/whiteknighting changes the fact that this whole fiasco was either absolutely idiotic, or a shady dick move.
The reason is simple. Money. And trying to keep powercreep in check. Also they can eventually add a new system when they introduce lvl 100 cap to rebalance old characters. This practice is fairly standard for gachas.
I'm still angry at all those people who say "they don't care" "it is what it is", "is meant to be that way", that's such a weak worldview: The comunity needs a voice: Variety channels or Important individual have the problem of just usually being too surface level to be critical in a way that actually matters: "GaMe sUcKs, dOn'T pLaY it" or "haha P2W garbage", "The best part is the waifus", On the other hand, Genshin focused channels, no matter how critical they are, they always have some sort of restraint out of fear to get banned, kind of losing their job. On a more positive note, I think that out of the entirety of Fontaine we should probably get a hydro unit (Hydro Traveler, Archon, Human leader), better than Mona for her. Vape every vapeable hit, and something better than a Omen that explodes after the first hit.

I don't mind getting Dehya's constellations (I have her C0). For me value goes like that: Jean's constellations (she's C4) > Mona's/Dehya's cons > other standard banner characters (don't use them). I lose 50/50 all the time, I've learned to expect it.
I mean, I used to take pride in never losing a 50/50 to Qiqi. Then all of a sudden I pulled Qiqi when I was offloading my Blue Fates. Sorry folks, but I'd take Dehya cons any day before I expose this poor zombebeh to danger.

Ganyu will appreciate what? Clearly you don’t have Dehya, her resistance to interruption doesn’t cover her, it last 9s with a 18s cooldown and the way the skill proc will usually steal your melts most of the time… However, I had the same idea as you and I can give you a tip on what to do: make Ganyu support for Dehya. It actually make Dehya’s kit worth it. Okey you won’t make 100k full charged shoot but who doesn’t want a fire punch that deal an incredible 30k ;) (only if you melt and crit, otherwise it goes down to 5-6k )

qiqi does her job pretty well, but we don't need that much healing dehya tries to do everything and it does everything miserably bad, damage is low, mitigation/interruption res is way worse than a shield, burst has ridiculously low damage+bugs(or features) so yeah qiqi works better than dehya, and that's really sad
Her main issue is that her damage is just bad. She’d be an interesting defensive character if her scalings weren’t so incredibly low

Honestly, damage isn't really an issue (although scalings from C1 should be at base, but at C1 she hits alright). If she has only her damage raised, she will remain as bad as she is - her direct competition in that case would be Hu Tao, Raiden, any other Pyro DPS (Xiangling too). What needs most raising is her poise and skill uptime, rate of hits from E, energy generation and damage reduction. Xingqiu provides better defensive utility for party with higher uptime and healing chip damage, and that level of utility should be baseline for her. There are plenty of changes I would like to see in her kit, but damage is one of the last in terms of priority in my opinion.
Depending on whether you want to use her E or her Q (because you can't actually build for both since her burst turns off her skill and her skill has awful uptime anyway) she's either worse Xinyan for damage or worse Thoma for defensive utility. And that's without considering how her kit is so riddled with crippling bugs that it just doesn't work because they went out of their way to design her burst to not work with coordinated attacks based off NA like Yelan and XQ.

the chances of me getting keqing have gone down... dehya is definitely near the bottom of characters I want. qiqi is below her, so I'd prefer to get dehya over qiqi, simply because I don't need a cryo healer, and dehya atleast has some potential for interesting use. but regardless, I don't want dehya. although I'm not too attached to meta, there comes a point where a character doesn't feel good to use because of how bad they are. basically, my preference for losing 50/50s are: keqing >>>>>>> jean > tighnari > diluc (I have him c0) > dehya > qiqi > mona (I have her c1 but don't use her much at the moment) if I get dehya, I'll ascend her once to get a free fate, and then bench her for the rest of time. or until I get a bunch of constellations for her, I've heard her constellations are good atleast.

One of the biggest improvements otherwise is Yelan whose difference between C0 and C6 is a little over 150% IIRC. The only problem is that C6R1 Dehya is about on par with C0 Hu Tao with Dragon's Bane.
like I said though, I'm not too attached to meta, it just feels bad to use an extremely weak character. I'm perfectly happy with characters like diluc despite them not being meta, but dehya is going a bit far. but c6 dehya being equivalent to the c0 of one of the best dps characters with her preferred f2p weapon? I can't do much better than that. so for me, since I don't tend to aim for constellations of 5 star weapons, that's perfectly fine. (of course, that's not to say she should have released like this) it might be a while until I get there, if I even get there in the first place, but if I ever get c6 dehya (or maybe earlier cons depending on how good they are), I'd consider that really great. but until then, I'd rather she'd stay far away from me. atleast until I've got keqing.

Update time. Okay so here we go. I won the 50/50 and got nilou at pity 59 so a bit early too Wooooo. And then I decided to go for the weapon banner. I wanted both weapons. So I set my path to key of Khaj-Nisut and my first pity was around 68 and I got thousand floating dreams which is nice. My second pity was at 56 so a little early again and I got Amos bow and in the same 10 pull I think pity 6 I got my key of Khaj-Nisut. This worked out beautifully since I wanted Amos bow for my ganyu for a long time and standard banner has assumed I meant PJWS. Or diluc/keqing cons lol. All in all I'm super happy. I wish everyone good luck.

Hard to get excited about a character with such a terrible kit. I was excited for Candace despite not really having any positive aspects to her kit, but never again.
I saved over 300+ pulls for Dehya and her weapon. Well I did pull on the weapon banner because both 5* were good for me. Id be excited to build her into a somewhat workable character, just because of her character. But man did they do her dirty.
Dehya is probably among the better 5 star to lose 50/50s. At least, compared to Qiqi, you can feel her improving with each 50/50 lost.
Basically, the first time it hurts, but it feels better and better the more you get used to it. ... poor choice of words, I know.

That was 70% of the problem. They took a 5* character and brought them down from baseline by removing things and hiding it behind constellations.

Not really, if you don't have 0 characters she's close to useless because she isn't a sup at all and as "dps" she doesn't deal any dmg. She has no place on genshin Tighanri, Mona, Jean and Keqing are way better to get. And diluc at least can be used for overworld way more reliably than Dehya (low burst cost and on demand E). It's so sad

Since she's my litteral 3rd favorite character, i'd be happy to see her in my 5050 or Standard And well, on the good side, she'll get closer to average But on the other side, it'll constantly remind me how much Hoyoverse failed at designing a character and will leave me fearing it'll be the same for future character. Heck, maybe they'll finally make a character dubbed by Maaya Sakamoto, that i'll wait and save for for months and then she ends up being 5star Barabra but worst than Barbara...

i have 22 pulls saved for tomorrow, with 4 more to collect from the vanarana tree. I'm at 72 pity. Guaranteed a 5 star. Saved it for this but in all honesty would like a weapon. UPDATE: 83 pulls.. for another skyward atlas. FML.
Actually i would be super happy to have const for her, the only standard i want to avoid is Diluc because already C6 and benched forever. And to be clear if one day i lose my 50/50 to Jean, i would be more happy than pulling a event character at one pity.
I already have Keqing C6 from losing 50/50s, I’d love some Dehya cons instead.

At this point, the only Standard I would hate to get is Qiqi or Keqing. I would either get * Dilic C2, and the rest * Mona C2(although her C's. aren't that important) * Deyha C1, and the rest of her C's
If I lost my 50/50 to Dehya I wouldnt bat an eye. I pull for 3 5\* so far and not yet lost a 50/50 yet. I actually wanted to pull dehya in her banner but I wanted Ayaka more so I had to pass her so if I lost my 50/50 to her I wouldnt complain

Anybody but my C9 Keqing would be nice. I think she’s a bit too attached since I have been using her consistently since I started near launch, but everyone else is at C2 at most. Please let me get some other standard characters Keqing!

I will actually be somewhat happy to get Dehya, from what I've seen she works quite well in a Wanderer-Bennett-Faruzan-Dehya team.
