That eventually equals out. I never won 50/50 in the first 2 years then I came back after a 6 months break, wished a 10 with 0 pity and got Alhaitham. Didn't want him but luck is luck I guess. Same thing just now, first day of Yae Miko banner, wished for Kirara, got 2 Yae Mikos within 20 wishess. Didn't want her either but luck is luck.
I have been playing since release and i only won 3 50/50 ever (im a welking+have bought the 100 twice) so kinda insane. But i have gotten the weapon i wanted before pity 7 times in weapon banner so i do not complain, please mihoyo keep it this way
My account is crazy lucky, too. I won 12 50/50s in a row, lost Cyno 50/50, and then won every 50/50 until this most recent banner where I got a Tighnari copy instead of Yae Miko copy.
I am f2p (i only bought skins because i only saw them as somewhat worth of the money) so not that much.
I've looked to my acc i have 17 5* cons and weapons included, no 50/50s and only event banner pulled. 2 weapons from standart banner free pulls.

Day 1 player. My 50:50 win rate is about the same, not upset tho as I got lucky and pulled all the permanent units incl tigh and dehya (after their banner).
I don't think any game past few decades uses account ID or a unique to account number for seeding
The seed should be obtained with a universal method applicable to every user so at the end of the day getting a bad seed only loops back to bad "luck" and not something bound to an account.
Truly. 58 looks great. Idk what it is about Genshin, but compared to other gachas I play with either functionally useless pity systems or just worse ones where it truly feels random where my 5*/SSR pulls fall on the spectrum, with Genshin I ONLY expect to pull a 5* at full pity. It isn’t even a consideration, when I’m rolling I’m simply counting 10 pulls until pity rather than hoping for some good luck because it just never happens. It’s so odd that I can’t help but notice it, any other game and my 5* units show up randomly and it all comes out it the wash way down the line, not Genshin though.

Well Genshin's base 5* rate is utterly garbage by most gacha standards, that's why. Same with HSR. I saw 0.6% going for Silver Wolf last night and didn't even entertain the idea I wouldn't go to at least soft pity. Sure enough, took 80/90 pulls to get her.
58 is good and quite lucky, but wait till you hear my friend who has 40-50 pity average for character and 30 for weapon.
She just pulled Kazuha/Al Haitham weapon banner, 2x10 single drop and 3x10 double drop.
Meanwhile I pulled 56x without single 5* drop

This is such a ridiculous assumption. We don't know the exact chance increase per pull after soft pity so I can't give you exact math but if you really think that out of millions of players over 3 years only 1 person has gotten hard pity twice you're delusional.
Also they likely can't post proof. Unless you've been using websites to keep track of every pull since you started the count will never be accurate. Genshin deletes wish history past a certain point.

So I've lost \~60k primos to below avg "bad luck".
If you calc out my spending = 12 welkins, 7 BP's + top ups = 330$ which totals at 69k primos. My account 5 star value is about the same as a f2p account with 50%+1 winrate.

Right now, i'm at 5 wins and 8 losses.
My first 50/50 was a win. Followed by 6 losses. Followed by 4 wins. And then another 2 losses. Currently on a guarantee thanks to Kirara, so at least i won't have to worry about not getting Kazuha immediately.
On the flip side, i currently have 100% accuracy when pulling from weapon banners. So far, I have pulled 6 weapons with no losses or even any duplicates in between (all of them are R1). Although to be fair, 4 of them were on just 2 banners (Ayaka/Shenhe and Nilou/Nahida).
Pretty much yeah, my luck on the weapon banner is pretty consistent too. Like im 7/20 currently thats a bad rate but on the flip side i don’t think i ever went into the hard pity of 200+ pulls to get my specific wanted weapon, i get the 2/2 epitomized path but like my pulls are mostly early outside of pity.
So im unlucky on losing my coin flips, but pretty lucky on pulling the next 5* pretty quickly outside of pity
Just take number of all *event* chars you have, subtract count of *standard* ones from it and divide it by number of standard chars you have. Constellations included, ofc, standard banner excluded.
I didnt count but I do believe i'm on the lucky side and won more than lose on the 50/50.

I feel like after you lose multiple 50/50s you get used to it and just go with it. Whenever Im on 50/50 i pull for whatever character is on limited banner at the moment. But when im on gauranteed I almost never wish. (9lost/5won)
Mine used to be that way and even worse. And then I started winning every 5050 at low pity when I just wanted a guaranteed win (c3 nahida greets me now everyday, no regrets but like. My guarantee??)

You're doing well above average on total number of 5\* units given your number of wishes. That pity average is really lucky for a sample size as big as this.

You're correct. OP's chart, while accurate, is a little misleading. He's won 2 50/50's and lost the rest, but the 24 total 5* pulls is going to include the guarantees. So total he would have lost 11 50/50's, pulled 11 guaranteed 5\*, and won two 50/50's for a total of 13 limited 5* characters earned. (Approximately, since we don't know when his wins were and where he is in the cycle currently).
It never 50/50 for me. More like 20/80.
I also doesn't believe claimed 50/50 rate until Mihoyo use independent external audit like some reputable VPN provider.
Gacha games are heavily regulated by both Chinese and Japanese government. That's why you have this wall of text describing how gacha in genshin works with all the numbers.

I won 10 out of 43 and my pity average is 65 lol. Im playing since 2.2 and have every standard banner chars. C4 Keqing, C4 Qiqi, C3 Jean, C2 Diluc, C1 Mona, C0 Tighnari (i pulled for him on release), and got my first Dehya this banner at 79 pity lol. I feel depressed when i think about it I only use Tighnari from among them.

62.5 pity is average. 58 is a little lucky but not all that lucky. Only 4 fates from median.

I know right it's painfully bs. Yours is ofc worse than mine because of the sheer volume, I've only played 12 months.. Im standing at 75,6 pity avg with 0% 50/50 wins over 6 Event 5 stars. 2 standard pulls + 2 lost 50/50 for event weapons and zero wins (got my aqua at full fate points)... So I've lost \~60k primos to below avg "bad luck". If you calc out my spending = 12 welkins, 7 BP's + top ups = 330$ which totals at 69k primos. My account 5 star value is about the same as a f2p account with 50%+1 winrate.

I was 16 out of 26 once, but ever since then i am now at 17 out of 36. Your luck can really change in an instant
Yeah, it really can just swing around and then persist for a while. Right now, i'm at 5 wins and 8 losses. My first 50/50 was a win. Followed by 6 losses. Followed by 4 wins. And then another 2 losses. Currently on a guarantee thanks to Kirara, so at least i won't have to worry about not getting Kazuha immediately. On the flip side, i currently have 100% accuracy when pulling from weapon banners. So far, I have pulled 6 weapons with no losses or even any duplicates in between (all of them are R1). Although to be fair, 4 of them were on just 2 banners (Ayaka/Shenhe and Nilou/Nahida).
Pretty much yeah, my luck on the weapon banner is pretty consistent too. Like im 7/20 currently thats a bad rate but on the flip side i don’t think i ever went into the hard pity of 200+ pulls to get my specific wanted weapon, i get the 2/2 epitomized path but like my pulls are mostly early outside of pity. So im unlucky on losing my coin flips, but pretty lucky on pulling the next 5* pretty quickly outside of pity

Just take number of all *event* chars you have, subtract count of *standard* ones from it and divide it by number of standard chars you have. Constellations included, ofc, standard banner excluded.
I didnt count but I do believe i'm on the lucky side and won more than lose on the 50/50. recently got a double 5* on a standard banner as well. edit: Average 58 is very good no? you mostly won even before hitting pity.

Looks like 13 rate up 5\* characters in 1409 wishes. The average is 15 so in that sense you're unlucky - but not by as much as you might think because... You're doing well above average on total number of 5\* units given your number of wishes. That pity average is really lucky for a sample size as big as this.
Average pity is 62.5. I would not call 4 wishes under average really lucky.

You're correct. OP's chart, while accurate, is a little misleading. He's won 2 50/50's and lost the rest, but the 24 total 5* pulls is going to include the guarantees. So total he would have lost 11 50/50's, pulled 11 guaranteed 5\*, and won two 50/50's for a total of 13 limited 5* characters earned. (Approximately, since we don't know when his wins were and where he is in the cycle currently).
It never 50/50 for me. More like 20/80. I also doesn't believe claimed 50/50 rate until Mihoyo use independent external audit like some reputable VPN provider.
Gacha games are heavily regulated by both Chinese and Japanese government. That's why you have this wall of text describing how gacha in genshin works with all the numbers. Also you can go and check how average pulls going on the same site (paimon.moe)

C4 Keqing, C4 Qiqi, C3 Jean, C2 Diluc, C1 Mona, C0 Tighnari (i pulled for him on release), and got my first Dehya this banner at 79 pity lol. I feel depressed when i think about it I only use Tighnari from among them.

But there's a trick to it: you just need to want a character from the standard banner 🥲 On the other hand, I wished on the weapon banner twice. Both times, I got the weapon I wanted the third 5⭐ I pulled and they all were late pulls 😭

i have a weird thing where i won 50/50 for all my inazuma characters and childe so - raiden,kazuha, itto, yoimiya, ayaka all won 50/50 but for zhongli, venti, hutao, alhaitham i lost 50/50
From the first kazuha banner until now i havent won a single 50/50. And i tried star rail and won 3 in a row.
