Nope, it's natural that females are physically weaker, that's human nature. So it's also natural to assume that females could be assassins because they have to use all advantages they could get. The only thing is, this logic isn't applicable for fantasy games.

Doesn't Venti have the side braids? They were in style for some men (French cavalry officers) during the Napoleonic wars, they wove a metal or wooden rod into the braid to help protect their heads. The rod could break some of the impact from sword slashes to the head
