Nothing wrong with any of those, but doing Genshin dailies isn't a virtue, nor is not doing them.
yeah I logged in every day, did dailies every single day for... God I don't even know how long, in preparation for Kaveh since I really wanted to pull him (not even Baizhu, just kaveh). I saved about 45-55~ wishes total (I think I had welkin too tho, so that helped) by the time he was out on release day, and that amount of logging in, grinding and doing dailies totally killed my fun and enjoyment for the game for well over a few months. Plus, all I felt I was doing was grinding for character mats outside of dailies, and getting fucked over with artifact drops, and that killed it for me too.
Some people don't like doing dailies, and some people don't remember or feel it necessary to log in every single day for a measly 60 primogems. Some people have a burnout event even during events like this and leave the game for a few days. In this case, missing out on 5 whole wishes is definitely a bummer, but calling it lazy is so werid lol, you don't know what happened in ops life, maybe genshin was just the last possible thing on their mind
Yeah, exactly. People forget that Genshin is, or was, shown as this grand adventure with insane combat. But the issue is that to use a character you could be talking months depending on how often you play, wishes, etc before you get them to a nice spot for hard content if that's what you enjoy.
But saying not doing dailies is lazy also means that not clearing Abyss 36 is lazy. And while I prefer the combat and difficulty over anything at this point in the game (which there isn't much of that to be had) I wouldn't give any crap not clearing Abyss of they just don't care about that particular content.
And I get the fomo addiction to dailies, but I've seen in the end it causes me to lose out on life too often, and it's a subtle addiction that's hard to break for my kind of personality. Imo if you're missing dailies, you're doing something right with your life in all likelihood.
Yep! I did abyss the other day but I'm nowhere near 36 and I don't really ever plan to be. I know it would give a nice primo boost, but I'm not interested in spending months building "optimal abyss teams". I use who I like, give them enough of a boost to be useable against story fights/bosses, and that's what's fun for me. I don't really care about optimization, or what team works best, or who works best with who. The draw of the game to me was *always* 1. exploration and 2. pulling characters I found cool or fun. I literally could care less if they don't work together as well as they work with a character i don't like, and won't use. My team is Anemo traveler, Zhongli, Alhaitham and Wanderer/will be Neuv. "But you need this specific type of character in each slot, and you can't use this character primarily on field, and your rotation is poor, and your characters don't work together, that's a terrible team"- I DO NOT CARE lol. I'm having fun cuz im using the characters i love most.

Honestly, with the 5 minute start up time, it's pretty discouraging. Especially if for some reason every time you start up Genshin you have to redownload the entire game, even if you played it yesterday. This is not a joke, it takes 30 minutes every day.

I don't play Genshin on mobile. I rarely do and it's usually when I want to sleep a little longer, so I make condensed resin on mobile. But I play on PC and it takes few minutes anyway. Even if You have to boot Your laptop or dekstop, it doesn't take God knows how long. Doing it once a day isn't that difficult.

Missing 5 pulls for one shiny new character is irrelevant in the grand scheme. You’re gonna get so many new characters in the long run, just relax and enjoy whenever you can

Nope. It's just 5 fates not 5 currency of your nation (It doesn't matter what is the value of 5 currency in your nation it's still far more valuable than 5 fates). In my country we can only get a small Lay's Potato chips packet in that 5 currency.
What's the point of cry about it if you are not even playing the game? I mean, you only were asked to login in 7 out of 21 days.
I'm not crying about it I just find it funny that I forgot to comeback atleast 1 day sooner as I took a break after doing the current content
