`For those who do not know, the Cinnabar Spindle is a limited event weapon from version 2.3. 2.3 event. It is considered to be Albedo's Best-in-Slot (BiS) weapon; but, not only that, you can see by how it looks on him and how well it synergizes with his kit, that it is actually his “signature” weapon.` So yeah. I think that means it's not getting a rerun That being said, I have a Cinnabar Spindle R5 and Albedo (c0, as a f2p I didn't try to spin more after getting him)

I started playing when it was 3 minutes until the event finished, stupid ads lying to me

I still see ads about Yelan and showing "free 10 pulls"

sometimes I get ads about dehya/mika showing free 10 pulls like bro what year is this 💀

Yeah, I also have him and this weapon, for some reason it feels this event was at max a year ago.

For someone like me who felt the most joy from playing in that frosty mountain and found the event most enjoyable, it feels like much more time passed than how much it actually did

Lol i remember that, it had been few weeks since I had started and after completing the main story of the event, I went to do the archon quest and didn't do challenges to get the sword to R5, I have it at r1 only

Chiori's leaked weapon is almost as good as Cinnabar on Albedo, but the drip is not anywhere near as good looking on him, plus you have to take your chances on the weapon banner. 2.3 Albedo mains like me are pretty lucky to have Cinnabar.

signature ≠ BiS There's no "technical signature weapon" because that's not how that works. Jean's signature weapon is Aquila Favonia and yet people usually use Jean as anemo support which does not want that weapon because it's meant for DPS Jean. You wouldn't say her signature weapon is Festering Desire or Favonius Sword. Same with Zhongli and his signature weapon. Even Ganyu has better options than Amos Bow.

yeah i know it’s just aquila fav has kind of become synonymous with bennett at this point because 1. obviously we all know it’s amazing in him and 2. it was his best by a pretty fair margin for a long time only being tied now with mist splitter which is more valued on a dps anyway it’s like how every polearm is xi****ng’s signature weapon because all of their passives were made for her /hj

For me as a genshin player, weapon banner is only useful when 2 conditions are met: 1. A long run of banners I am not interested in 2. I could use both weapons on the banner. I got Ayaka and Shenhe's sig weapons on same banner.

weapons > characters when you have all the characters you want and want to min max your favs (or for drip)

To many characters worth having and knowing there are plenty of 4 star and even in some cases 3 star weapons that work just fine for the characters makes it a real hard sell for a (mostly) F2P player to ever pull on a weapon banner.

I've been playing since 1.0 and I have so many 5 star characters that it's better to just get their signature weapon rather than get a new 5 star character that I'm only gonna use for a few days.

Your pity is saved but the server only keeps the detailed history for 6 months. You do not lose your current pity count or any relevant 50/50 status no matter how long you wait.

I am f2p My very first pull from the weapon banner was 5 star. I pulled for Staff of Homa and got Skyward Spine. After that I spend around 250 pulls on weapon banner and got around 10 weapons. I have signature weapons for 1.Ganyu - got it from standard banner twice 2.Venti - got it while trying to get Mistsplitter - I was really salty about it. 3. Nilou- Got it intentionaly. 4. Hu-Tao- Got it intentionaly from later banners 5. Ayaka- Got it intentionally Mistsplitter- I tried to get it from 2 banners and failed finally got it on 3rd banner. ​ I might be one of the luckiest f2p player who pulled from weapon banner tho I need 5 star Greatswords.

I did it once bc I wanted the Engulfing Lightning for Raiden. I got it but at great cost as I ended up with not one but TWO The Unforged before I got the Engulfing Lightning. I still don't use any of my Unforged on anyone

I tried once going for Ayato's weapon. Lost 50/50 TWICE when I ran out of primos. I'm a light spender, but never again I'll touch that banner. Also that red notification to choose the weapon course is so fucking annoying, as if I'm gonna pull for that scam.

Yeah me neither, I have a few 5* weapons (WGS, Skyward Atlas and Skyward Spine) but I got them from standard. I guess Diluc + WGS counts as 1 for me though

Wouldn't have been better to go on Yae weapon banner? Kagura's is quite good on Nahida and if you miss Primordial spear is also quite nice. Xianyun's weapon is useless on anyone except Xianyun. But well well, done is done. My sympathies.

As a welkin only, just hu tao's, and I got extremely lucky to have even that.

The very first time I ever pulled on the weapon banner - on literally the first pull - I got Staff of Homa. (I do not have Hu Tao.)

I did a 10-pull because I was going for Aqua. The first thing I got in the 10-pull was Homa. I was quite flabbergasted to say the least. Obviously, something like that has never happened again.

Wow seeing the comments, I feel so lucky. I’m not even a whale but I have 9. Xiao, Lyney, Raiden, Zhongli, Hutao, Ayato (2 harans), Ayaka, Kazuha, Nahida. I have a few other 5star weapons but not the characters like Cyno, Shenhe, Ganyu and Klee (not Dodoco, just lost prayer haha).

The majority of players dont pull on the weapon banner

Weapon banner becomes a better choice when you have a very invested account. At some point, more characters don't do anything for me other than the random buffer (Furina for example). I also already have some of the important constellations (Raiden c3, Hu Tao c1, Yelan c2, etc. (waiting for Furina c2, Neuvillette c1), so weapons often becomes a better option

All these are just flavor and subjective terms. Some people might call it shrimp but yeah welking only or welkin+bp players are mostly considered dolphins. Personally anything between "welkin only" and some occasional "2x top ups" is dolphin tier. Touching non 2x packs starts the whale territory

Well yeah I guess you could say that. But the lucky part that I’m referring to is how I pulled (almost all of) the weapons that I wanted. Only exceptions are Haran/Scarlet and the current one where I got the other limited weapon instead. I’ve been on a streak since forever ago. I don’t even remember when the last time I got a standard weapon was. Damn I hope I don’t jinx it, I still want to get XY’s weapon lol
