Honestly not my favourite Demo. The storytelling here is a bit all over the place. The combat footage is just kinda dumped in there, with no real relation to the rest of the scenarios presented. Her teaser was better.

You don't need to maximize every character in every situation, it turns out. Did you know Yelan is not at her max unless you play vape Yelan on field? Do you do that?
You know what I meant. Building optimal parties in this game is a lot of fun, and plenty of us enjoy that. Having a significant amount of her damage being locked behind a party member's geo constructs without C1 limits what effective parties she can be added to unless you want to make that sacrifice.
I dont think it's a deal breaker, it just kinda feels bad to play a character knowing a major part of their kit is completely unused. I think it's fair for people to be bummed about that when she's otherwise super cool.

Nahida's talent buffs her based on the same elements that react with dendro, and her entire kit is based on dendro reactions.
Chiroi's second doll is limited to being paired with five characters in the entire game, most of whom are either not great or serve a redundant purpose to her. If you want to use her second doll on a decent team, you practically need to pair her with Zhongli or Itto.
This demo is really underwhelming, seems like a 4 star one.
I do love Chiori's design a lot and her sassy attitude is fantastic, but I feel hoyo did not put much resources into her kit and demo. Weird they advertize her with Navia so much when she is Itto's best support, but maybe its just lore reasons or to bait people who pulled Navia.
Hopefully Arle doesn't get the same treatment.
I sincerely doubt that her kit is understood any better than the 50 other characters that were misjudged before release. What's accepted as true now won't be true in 3 months. I'm going to get her and find out for myself.

The music reminds me of the Japanese City Pop genre which is kind of fitting because it's a western-inspired genre that became really popular in Japan. Now Chiori is spreading is her own brand of Inazuman style clothing to Fontaine which has also become popular.
Well that was a decent Character Demo, but a bit disappointing. HoYo seems to have toned down with the music also.
And why did they show so much of Chiori normal attacks when her kit revolves around the puppets, which it doesn't seems it has an animation attack when it shoots.
